Jeeze! What's Been Up?
Posted 12 years agoHah, wow. These past couple of months have been...interesting to say the least. Lots of things have been happening, a bit too numerous to list, but I suppose my transition into legality has been less than sub-par. I'm kind of missing my friends and family from back home, and as nice as Denver is, it's just not the same as home. Despite all this, I still try and have some fun here and there, when I can.
School's been a blast, and I really enjoy it (though I tend to usually enjoy school anyway). I've made a couple of friends I suppose, though I only really hang out with three of them, whenever possible. I wish I could see them more, as my time outside of school feels rather lonely. One of them will be going home after winter break, I hear, due to issues with his roommate, which sucks majorly :/ It won't be the same without him, marf. It's kinda funny how our little group wouldn't exist, I don't think, had I never met him. I just hope wherever he chooses to go afterward, or whatever he chooses to do, I'll get to talk to him more.
School! It's kind of freaky how it's going to end in two weeks already, and I'm kind of curious to see what winter will be like with actual, falling snow (it did snow here once so far! It was fun until I had to wait an hour in the snow for the bus e__e). Once winter break starts, I don't quite know what I'll be doing. Still no luck getting a second job, which kind of baffles me, and whether or not I go back home depends on how much money I have, so we'll have to see about that. Issues with my phone really don't help at all, as I can't accept calls for job offers, calls from my bank, nor can I even keep in touch easily with my friends 'n family. I just hope I can get that fixed up soon.
There have been a lot of other less-than-savoury turns-of-events lately, but they're not as prominent. Book 2 of The Legend of Korra recently ended, so that was something exciting to look forward to and participate in. I can't wait until Book 3 comes out, hopefully next spring or so.
School, homelessness, Korra, job searching, new friends, snow...lots of things have changed lately. I suppose I cannot even begin to foresee where they may take me, though I can only hope it'll be positive. Beyond all of this, well, what's been up with you guys? If you've read this far, then, thanks. I've probably missed out on a lot, so whatever it was, lay it on meh :P
