Posted a year agoAll I can say about this event got me to come back and post my own say, since I have a personal running with my own health and the healthcare system some months ago. This is something I been worried with dealing with my own matters. . Say what you will about Dragoneer and/or FurAffinity or anything like that but this is such a rotten way to die. Nobody should have to suffer and pay tens, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars for a diagnosis only to be told "lol idk, here is the payment".

I shall welcome anyone to join the server and build with, so long as you can follow the simple server rules.

COVID-19 TIPS!

Leefuu to post this. We must stop or at least slow this thing down.
Hello everyone!
I thought I'd post a little journal in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic that is spreading over the globe.
I am a medical assistant in Northwest Indiana, USA, so this is basically US-based. I work in a clinic that sees a lot of patients!
Just to say first, I am not a doctor. I will only be relaying guidelines and information that have been expressed over my clinic, and what the doctors in my clinic are currently stating.
This may differ with other clinics in other states.
The president of the U.S. just expressed that all restaurants and any facilities/gatherings with 10 or more people are cancelled for the next 2 weeks, to see how the virus spreads. This is NOT to scare everyone, this is NOT to spread panic, this is to help SLOW DOWN the spread of the virus. The biggest possible victims of this virus are the elderly, pregnant women, those that are immune-compromised, going through chemotherapy (this is because they literally have no immune system due to it), those with lupus, and many others with per-existing conditions. We are trying to protect everyone, but especially these groups!
We are going through a deadly flu season ON TOP of the spread of COVID-19. In reference to one of the doctors I work with: if you have the flu, even without symptoms, you have the chance of spreading it to 1 other person, who will get infected. With COVID-19, that chance is 1:3. So one infected person, whether expressing symptoms or only shedding the virus with no symptoms, has a chance of infecting 3 others.
We have been triaging people based off of symptoms: high fever, respiratory distress, exposure due to traveling to any high-risk countries or cities in the U.S, or exposure to those who HAVE traveled. Of course, these are the extreme symptoms. You can still have COVID-19 with mild symptoms as well, and I think that is the most scary. It's an invisible enemy.
Follow quarantine instructions, and please only leave your house if absolutely necessary. I know this is a very scary time, this is the shit you see on the movies, but it is very important!
I do not believe these decisions by our government and CDC are drastic. I believe they're necessary to control the spread of the virus to those who cannot fend it off. But I also believe everyone should take a deep breath, follow general hygiene (WASH YOUR HANDS!! Sanitize! stay away from those who are sick, and if you're sick, STAY HOME!) If you are questioning if you have COVID-19, call your physician. There are several hospitals opening up for drive-thru testing now in the area I'm in, and I'm sure they're opening up around the country. Please do not be offended if you are denied the testing; it's not that we want to REFUSE to test you, that's not the case. But there are only so many testing supplies, and those who may be far worse than you (who are DYING due to pulmonary failure) that may need to be tested.
So, to recap:
+ Check out the CDC's recommendations of how to protect yourself during this time: LINK!
+ How to care for yourself at home if sick, as per the CDC: LINK!
+ If you have a high fever, 102-103 degrees F that is not going down with over the counter medication, head to your nearest ER or call your physician's office to get the order to get tested. AVOID PUBLIC PLACES! Symptoms as per the CDC: LINK!
+ IF you do not meet the criteria for testing, but are running fevers and feel generally awful, here are some medications you can find over the counter to help:
>>> LINK! -- I personally like Tylenol. It is a great fever reducer.
>>> If you have congestion/cough: LINK! you can try mucinex, cough drops, warm broth, hot tea, hot showers, a humidifer
>>> Stay home and quarantine for the next 2 weeks!
Some doctors will even to a teleconference with you-- speak to you over the phone about your symptoms-- and call in something for you.
>> Cover your mouth with the inside of your elbow or a one-time use tissue if you cough/sneeze.
>> frequently wash your hands with a soap or alcohol-based gel.
>> Avoid crowded places, and avoid hugging/touching others-- as well as touching your face.
>> Only leave your house to get to your workplace, or to go buy essential items.
It has been a stressful day/last week, but I'm sure we will push through! But we all need to do so as one-- because if not, that will not stop the spread of COVID-19. From what I hear, this virus does not like the heat, so we will be seeing less and less cases as summer comes. But we still have a few months before that-- so it's just beginning.

Delay/making my return sooon. . + B-day is here~
Posted 6 years ago Well, well then. I am SO sorry that in 2017 AND 2018, on FurAffinity I been quiet but in a way but blame good ol real life when it comes to all this though. I've been lucky enough to have such wonderful, kind followers. I am still getting some things prepped up but will make my return SOON! Let's hope FALL 2019 to be a year for mental and physical healing and coping. I don't talk a lot about myself on here and I don't want to make you all listen to it. But both mentally and physically has taken a big toll on me the past two years. But there have been positives with it too! I do want to thank my peeps for being there on the hard times.

Posted 7 years ago I want to thank the 200+ watchers and 770+ faves that slipped into my radar, I am slightly baffled on why people are watching me when I am just lately quite. Hm. . . Well well, I keep on popping back and forth on here as my activities have been near to dead compare 2-3 years ago. Hm. I have to sit down and change all that. Gotta love for that but for the reason for that has been that I had some changes within my life as of 2-3 years, new job - working for Amazon, starting plans for getting a jointed home along my Toasty Getting reptiles pets - diffused Avalanche corn snake, and soon a blue tongue slink. Got myself my first traffic ticket some weeks ago, so yay. .
Speaking of which, just looking over at my page - seems like we just hit over 1OO,OOO views.

Posted 7 years ago Well it's time to have a little chat. I will have to admit - when I came back to FA once more. . I was going to come in strong, and show all this but.
But. Work and just aiming to get a house and getting my sweetpea to come to the states has been keeping me away from the site. No, I am not disappearing any time soon. But. As of lately, my uncle from my mom's side has gotten sick for the past few months [ for personal reasons, I will not disclose the reason of the sickness ] But today. Today, I never thought I will of hear my own mother yell in disbelief and cry as she got the phone call from my aunt that my uncle passed away. To know she just lost her only brother and first friend. It just killed me so hard. So please forgive me for the lack of replies, to my friends, to fellow rp'ers. I am really sorry but give me some time to recollect my mind for the next few days / weeks.
And, good night my dear Uncle.

Posted 8 years agoWell. . .it's quite funny that I went 2-3 months quiet in the site but there has been a few peeps from discord, telegram and as from skype asking me on when will I come back?
I been wondering on that question for some time as of now since the whole hard drive crash really put down my art vibes down to a complete stop. Yes it has been slowing down but with that stuff happen - it really just shot my legs down.
2-3 months later, I have accepted my loss with the hard drive and it's time to move one. Got myself a new hard drive and for a extra step - backing up everything.
There is just one problem - art programs. I need help on finding some. In the past, I used to use only SAI. So I wish to ask everyone, what do you use? Can you guys help me?
What are your thoughts?
Short version:
1. BAD art block slowed me down in the past.
2. Hard drive finally died off.
3.Breaking that block now.
4. Has no art programs anymore. Help?

Well, I do want to thank the peeps that gave me a little happy b-day comment or the loves on my b-day [sep 13] and I want to say sorry to the ones who had to deal with the flood of posts when it comes to posting all this art. One thing did came into mind and is how slower I been getting and doing art in the past year and a half compare to. . what, 5 years ago? Well the past few years I will have to say that I had FAR too much free time when I started. Somewhat depressed with lack of work and losing a old long term friend from the nets. . . just trying to keep myself from the world. But now, work and life kinda holds me away and the thing that may just kill off my art - arthritis.
That shit really kills my hand within matter of minutes and I shouldn't joked about it in the early days. It just stops on what I can do and feel like. . .I don't know, it bums me out to know that just when I am really putting my mind into it - this crap happens. Ether way, it's not like it will be the end of it - but will be the thing that will just cause me to push though this shit. Only time will tell.
Short story - Icon changed, thanking y'all for the b-day comments and arthritis is fucking me over but not going to let it stop me.

My [Odd]Christmas Wishlist
Posted 10 years agoSince everybody else is doing one... figured I'd put mine in here as well. Now, nobody is obligated to buy anything or feel like they should, this little list is for myself since some of my friends always tell me that I should at least post some 'list' around the site. So I feel like there is no harm on just posting this so. . .eh why not?

-A new roof
-Legos
As many of you know, I been dealing with some little tech problems when it comes to my computer and it finally knocking on it's final legs and tablet being a dick and all [and doesn't help with problem one] People been telling me to upgrade this little old thing, which I had but I feel like I will need to build something from ground up. . . so I am left with many paths for myself to choose. As of now, money is the thing / a big factor. . .my job has been so slow as of now that I been using my own funds to pay off the bills and keep myself on a limit. Sure, I can live without a tablet but doesn't help that I need a computer around to help other people with their redlining, or need some kind of chat [ or some personal reasons] The roof. . .oh bloody lord. . that roof. . I just feel like that thing will be the death for me. This problem has been on my lap TOO long that I just leave myself wondering on what should I do. . I go one step but end up taking four steps back. . blah. You can say that that problem has been the thing that has been sucking up my extra bucks. I just don't like the fact that the El Nino will be rolling on us soon and with this shat out roof. . I don't know how long it will hold. Anywho. . .Legos. . .I just love them, keeps the stress outta my mind.

Posted 10 years agoToday isn't a good day that one of the first people who greeted me, showed me the good in the people of this site, a great teacher when it came to art is just. . .gone, I feel so bad that I didn't had the time to talk to her on her final days when she was free to chat with. . .It just brings me so much pain that she kept on smiling with all this cancer, her pregnancy and STILL she fought with her body and soul. . .she had a good, strong heart. I just, don't know what to say. . . these feelings just bring back the time when I lost my aunt to the same thing when I was around 12 years old. . .
I will miss those little messages from her. . .she can finally rest and I thank her for cheering me on and welcoming me into this site when I was lost. . . just thank you,

Posted 10 years agoWell this has been a fun two weeks away from the computer and nets. As many know - I was able to 'slightly' keep communication. . in the simple terms of just leaving a comment or two here and there. For the reason for that was one of two things - one, I had the hardest, busiest two work weeks at my job so I didn't had time to chat or even drop a hello. Posted 10 years agoI frankly. . . liked the movie. But I had to think about the timelines, time-traveling to get a good understanding how the movie was going to be set out. I do give them props on making the bond with the Terminator [ or in this movie as the 'Guardian' ] and Sarah Connor. It really made me feel at the last scenes of the movie. The way they set it out to the end of the movie? Seems like there may be a follow up to this movie. Hm, who knows.

I have an idea where males and females have gone through a change, once a man gets his woman pregnant, after several months, she must transfer the unborn child over to him to carry the rest of gestation and right away he can further impregnate her, allowing for him to keep his woman in a constant state of breeding.
I was thinking that she would develop an ovipositor that would slip into his ass when she is ready and he would later birth the children through a slit that is where humans used to have a belly button.

Posted 11 years agoLooks like Christine Cavanaugh has sadly passed away [at the age of 51 on Dec. 22. Her cause of death was not released. . . .] she voiced iconic 90's cartoon characters, Babe, Chuckie on 'Rugrats' such as Dexter from 'Dexter's Laboratory' and Oblina from 'Ahhhhh Real Monsters'

I did manually remove the problem and installed the patch that windows gave out but seems like I am still getting the same messages. So it looks like my computer is stuck on a loop as of now.
