So I finally got around to seeing it. Seems all I've come across are harsh criticisms and negative reviews, but I really enjoyed this movie. All a movie should be obligated to do is be entertaining, and I felt it did just that. I found myself laughing out loud at least a couple of times and truly enjoyed the story that lead up to human versions of our favorite characters that we have come to know and love. Like everyone else, I wasn't expecting much before watching the film, but I was pleasantly surprised and loved every minute. Equestria Girls is highly recommended to anyone how is a fan of the MLP:FiM series and it's wonderful cast of characters.
