[Calling fursuit builders] Lorraine Furs - LOUPIO V2
Posted 9 years agoThe Lorraine Furs Association is providing the technical coordination for the design of “Loupio” V2, the mascot of the Animal Park of Sainte-Croix.
Our Association is in charge of the selection of the builder / supplier for the new costume (check design there : http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22551048 ).
The Park requires a hybrid costume, which is in between a fursuit (for its mobility and ease of use) and a mascot (allowing it to be worn by people of different sizes).
To request the complete technical specifications please send an email (specifying the name of builder / company) to: contact[at]lorrainefurs.fr
A copy of this costume or a mascot of another species (a bear) may be considered if the Park are fully satisfied with the first suit provided.

This is only for FURSUITERS living in UK and owning a realistic REINDEER fursuit (taxidermy eyes only !) or (a stag that could be easily mistaken for a realistic reindeer, so no blue/pink/unrealistic colors or markings).
An UK ad company is looking for a performer for an upcoming online/TV AD for a stage show called "The Christmasaurus".

MISSING COCOFOX - Please HELP

cocofox has been missing since August 27th!UPDATE : they found him, safe & sound ! No more infos so far.
He was last seen at an airport in Marseille France, due to board a flight back to Montreal Quebec.
He never made his flight! His parents where the last known to have seen him when they dropped him off at the airport! Local France authorities are working on the case to find out what happened and hopefully find him!
If you know this fur and have any information Please let it been known!

Posted 9 years agoTomorrow night I'll be on the EXT NIGHT movie set of "Jour J(D Day) " for Azur's scenes.
The two previous days, Prancer was on the INT NIGHT set (nightclub) . A heatwave is now on Paris (37°C 98°F outside) and the temperature on set was way higher.
I'm looking forward to perform Azur during a whole night around the beautiful lake. Fun & fresh air of the night ahead.

Posted 9 years agoI had some questions & requests about the photos I took last year at Eurofurence : did you take a picture of me ? When my photo will be processed and shared ? And few others questions like these ones...
So I'm thinking offering FREE PORTRAIT photo commissions for Eurofurence attendees, so they will be sure to get a portrait from me and it will be processed in priority right after the convention (and not in chronological order as I usually do.)
But If you really need a photographer for a longer time (private or public photoshoot), I could also offer paid commissions for that. I don't have any clue of the pricing I should apply and you could also suggest YOUR price or offer me a free commission or invite me to a meal, whatever. :)
As an experiment and because I can also do high end video & processing, I have also two experimental things I'd like to offer :
- CINEMAGRAPH : a Cinemagraph is a very high quality gif/animated photography. These animated photos require a quick planning & a fair amount of post processing work. You can see some good examples of Cinemagraphs there : http://all-that-is-interesting.com/.....nemagraph-gifs
- 3D PHOTOS : I can process your own pictures or make new ones and transform in a short video. It's the same processing used in the cinema industry to convert 2D movies to 3D. It requires a good amount of post processing. You'll get a 1080p (or Ultra HD on request) video file you'll be free to upload anywhere.

That video is mostly made of interviews where some furries tell their opinions/views on the fandom : funny to watch for the drama, but Fursonas is not a professional documentary at all.
In a real documentary some basic questions would be answered about the furry fandom : What is his history ? Where it does come from ? What about the fandom in the world (europe, asia) or on TV/Internet (they only focused on few drama tv shows but nothing else)? the conventions (why and how) ? The business in the fandom (arts, costuming, ...)
Another very bad point is that furry arts are totally avoided : nothing about the artworks, the comics, the writings, the music, the costume building, the puppeteering, the performing and the furry fandom on TV & videogames.
"Fursonas" is a video where some furs gaze at their navel in front of a camera while they watch Youtube videos. If you're not from the fandom, you will understand nothing in that video.
The video title should be "DRAMAS". :)

L’Association Lorraine Furs, avec la Ville de Nancy, vous présente la première Furwalk mensuelle en France !
Dans le joli cadre du parc de la Pépinière à Nancy, nous vous convions, que vous soyez fursuiters ou non, à une sortie conviviale entre furs, conclue en fin d’après-midi par un verre de l’amitié.
Tout le monde est le bienvenu : helpers, fursuiters, photographes/vidéastes ou simple visiteur.
Cette balade au sein du parc se veut familiale et bon enfant, et sera encadrée par une équipe de coordinateurs.

Un badge nominatif est fourni gratuitement à chaque participant : vous devrez le garder visible durant toute la manifestation.
Si vous ne disposez pas d’un tour de cou et d’un porte-badge libre au format 85 x 55 mm pour le recevoir, nous vous en fournirons un au prix de 2€. (Prévoyez la somme exacte.)
Fursuiters : amenez votre boisson et vos snacks pour les remettre à votre helper. Si vous n’avez pas de helper, l’organisation vous en attribuera un.

[Senyu 2016] Sortie Fursuits

Lieu : Centre des Congrès - 7 avenue de Saint Dié - Epinal

Dans le cadre de la Convention Senyu se déroulant au Centre des Congrès à Épinal, nous organisons un rassemblement fursuits.
Le point de RDV se situera au niveau du Hall d'entrée (après le point de contrôle des billets) à partir de 14h30.
Si ce n'est pas déjà le cas, les fursuiters iront se changer avec l'aide des accompagnateurs.
Départ du rassemblement à 15h00, pour faire le tour de la convention avant les photos de groupe.
Tout se déroulant essentiellement à l'intérieur du Centre des Congrès, la météo ne devrait pas poser de problèmes.
Si vous êtes fursuiter, prévoyez néanmoins une ou plusieurs petites bouteilles d'eau & snacks que vous confierez à votre helper avant le démarrage du groupe.
Les helpers seront encadrés par plusieurs coordinateurs (reconnaissables à leurs gilets/chasubles fluos).
Que vous soyez fursuiters, accompagnateurs, photographe ou simple visiteur, merci de vous inscrire ci-dessous.

Dans le cadre de la Convention Senyu se déroulant au Centre des Congrès à Épinal, nous organisons une Furmiam.
Le point de RDV aura lieu directement au Restaurant Les Balkans le Samedi 5 mars 2016 à 12h00.
"Les Balkans" est un restaurant-rôtisserie servant, entre autres, des spécialités Yougoslaves et vins de l'Est dans un cadre agréable avec terrasse.
Les gourmands en auront pour leur argent car les plats sont plutôt copieux et très accessibles. Pour moins de 11€, il est possible d'avoir un menu complet.
(Un menu type est en cours d'élaboration et sera prochainement indiqué ici.)
Une table sera réservée prochainement pour Lorraine Furs, si vous voulez participer, inscrivez-vous dès que possible !
