I keep looking at simple character designs (particularly stuff like chibis or things that are a few steps up from stick figures), and thinking I'd like to try drawing like that just to get my creative juices flowing. Would there be any good avenue for getting into that, like somewhere with tutorials/tips and the like?

I can't help but look at the pics of my 'sona lately, and get to thinking his head is a little bare; isn't it? Don't think it's something I can easily decide on how to sort out though. Not too fond of horns, feathers are a bit much, and hair just seems a weird idea for him imo.

I've been really comfortable with regular life recently, which is a big change from this time of year in previous years. In those times I was in education, but now I'm just having my first experiences with work and I feel sorta content with it. But then I can't help but ask myself: is this what I'm settling for? Sure it's comfy and if I get a job I'll finally get my own money to go places, but have I just left behind all my old career aspirations? I was in a film course last year; now I'm back in my hometown gladly stacking shelves in a store.

Basically I'm just here wondering if it's okay for me to be like this for a while before I decide to try to pursue my dreams again. Is it okay to settle with this for now, or am I just wasting time? Maybe I ought to try out new things while I lead a quieter life to make up for that. I just need to find the motivation for that.
