It's been months since I last updated my journal... I wasn't going to since the last one left commission info on my front page, but you know to heck with it since I haven't gotten anyone wanting any anyway haha.
Things are still incredibly tight money-wise and we've pretty much just run out... this month is the last of my gf's remaining trust and I'm trying to get us on SSI but honestly I'm so fucked up I can't even do that. ; 3 ;
I'm trying to design a business card for a family friend for $200 but I don't have any prior experience so that also is not going too well lmao.
BUT HEY.
Lookin' on the bright side here... I have a gorgeous cat, three lovely derpy rats, and a girlfriend of 4 years by my side... not to mention a roof over our heads and foodstamps for our bellies.

I'm trying to be more active on art sites in general... I love giving nice comments to artists who do great work... and it's really fun when someone watches me from it! I always think "Hey... we must both love that artist" and I wish I were more confident enough to talk to my watchers about it but let me tell whoever is reading this right now that I'm a big loser baby and I'm too shy for my own good. I'm usually better at responding than initiating lmao.

ANYWAY.
Commissions are still open, (Just note me if you want to discuss it, I'm probably willing to lower prices depending on what you want and how complex your character is) I'm working on drawing more and since I just got Photoshop back I'll be experimenting with that too! Maybe I'll make some tiny animations or something again... I do miss doing those. </3

Sorry for the fairly pointless journal, but I think I just needed to bump that old journal off so I can start actually using my journals again!

Hey so I just got out of a really bad situation that I'm not going to go into, (hence my slight hiatus) but I'm in a new apartment and I have loads of time on my hands! I'd like to save up for a 3ds and animal crossing; new leaf. I've always loved AC and it's killing me seeing all these cute villagers and villagers and aaauugh. I also need money for things like bills and food and clothing. I cannot remember the last time I bought clothing.
So anyway!
I'm currently taking a few types of commissions! I'll list them below, but first!

If you want to commissions me; note me with the type of commission you'd like, and a reference of the character(s) you would like drawn and what they will be doing/posed as in the picture! I'll give you my paypal and start drawing as soon as the money has been sent! Paypal ONLY

The three main commissions I'm open for at the moment are;

Bust - $8 flatcolour/simple shading with no/simple background

Full-body - $15-$20 (depending on character complexity) flatcolour/simple shading with no/simple background (+$5 each extra character)

Full-body Monochrome - $10 ($15 if complex character) Simple Shading, One colour theme (+$3 each extra character)

I will also do things like icons, simple animations (keep in mind the files will be large so not advised for icons), sketches, simple refs, etc. Though I prefer to stick mostly to these types for now.

I'm thinking about repricing my commissions and advertising a bit. I really badly need money for pet supplies for my rats... things like food and housing and possibly a cage mate for our new rat since it doesn't seem like he'll be accepted into our current mischief of rats. OR neutering if I make enough money! (It will stop the aggression the two rats who are having problems with each other seem to have, and also make them less likely to scent mark and less likely to get tumors when they're older)
I also need things like clothes (underwear, pants and shirts without holes in them and that actually fit) and essentials like toiletries and transportation.
My computer is also starting to give out, and I'd like to replace the parts... those other things come first though.
So... in the next couple of days I'll get a general idea for my prices and post them here... even if you don't have money to commission, spreading the word would REALLY help me out. I am so broke and I just need so many necessary things. Please help me to take care of my rats and myself. x3;; I feel that these things are basic things I should have but just can't afford. It's been years since I bought new clothes and a while since my last haircut or anything. I don't like living like this. 8I
