You realize you're old when...
Posted 14 years agoYour iTunes library decides to commit suicide, and upon remaking your favorites playlists, you look through the majority of your music and think "What the fuck was wrong with me?" as you reflect on your old tastes.
My FA Resolution for last year was reached x1.5! ^^
Posted 14 years agoI had actually forgotten this, but last year I managed to get up to 200 watchers and wanted to attempt to reach 300 by this year XD I not only managed that but I managed to get to 350! Which is SOOOO awesome!!! ^^ ((A special thanks to all of you who watched me in this past year! ^^ Seriously! You're all awesome!! ^^))

Posted 14 years ago1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Drove in a blizzard, taught someone to drive, had a college class with a close friend from highschool, ate mealworms, etc...
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Actually I don't think I made any of those last year XD Probably just will try to learn more and grow as a person ;P All that corny ass stuff
3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
Hopefully chilling at my house awaiting midnight so we can all spray eachother down with silly string...Maybe drinking wine coolers if I'm REALLY lucky ^^
4. Did anyone close to you die?
O.o You know, I don't think they did, THANK GOD...Knock on wood because there's still like 4 days of 2011 left.
5. What countries did you visit?
The United States...Oh wait, I live here! XD Nevermind!
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
The ability to say I successfully taught someone to drive well enough for them to obtain a driver's license! XD
7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
A few I guess....April 7th because I crashed my car XD July 4th was just plain awesome...March 17th I got my first experience in blizzard driving...XD Yeah!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I dunno if it was my BIGGEST achievement of the year, but thanks to figure drawing class I FINALLY learned how to draw movement and get poses down better in my art, so my art improved GREATLY! ^^ Plus, I managed to draw something for
tanidareal that she liked, which was like, one of the most awesome days EVER!!!!! <3
9. What was your biggest failure?
Probably deciding to take a turn too fast and driving my car off the road into some reeds and sand, which required me to be pulled out, breaking my tail light in the process XD Then I dragged a barbed wire fence under my car on the highway all the way back to my town without knowing it...I would say it was a pretty damn big fail, but a pretty effing funny one as well XD
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Umm...Several colds, the stomach flu on Halloween, and a sinus infection recently XD
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I dunno XD I bought a bunch of awesome things that I use a lot still.
12. Where did most of your money go?
Probably gas? Not sure XD
13. What song will always remind you of 2011?
Probably Pumped Up Kicks XD I friggin LOVE that song <3 Oh, and that "I'm coming home" song that was popular awhile ago and "On my way home" by Enya because they remind me of the snowboarding trip

Art, definitely art. Stupid school getting in the way of my art time x3

I wouldn't say hate....But last year I had a certain best friend whom I believed to be the only one who couldn't make me mad and would never make me mad enough to truly just wanna stop talking to, and she REALLY proved me wrong XD Having a class together can REALLY open your eyes to someone, which I honestly didn't believe before this semester.

Posted 14 years agoDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PIECE OF CRAP I HAVE SEEN ALL YEAR!!! AND I'VE SEEN SOME CRAP!!! ((YES THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS, IF YOU WANNA SEE THE MOVIE FOR YOURSELF WITHOUT BIAS, DON'T READ! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED))
Now, to be fair, I will state that I already wasn't expecting much after seeing the previews...I absolutely ADORED the first Happy Feet movie and I was absolutely thrilled to discover they made a second one until I saw some of the mistakes they had made...I was kinda iffy about seeing it, but a friend of mine told me they play Numa Numa song in it, so I decided I NEEDED to see it! XD
So I went with delitakingdrake....We got there...Got our snacks...Notice a lot of the clips from the previews are in the VERY beginning of the movie...And as we were speculating on that, Eric, Mumble's son whom we have NO IDEA why he was named that, falls head first into the show and shits himself because unlike his father he can't effing dance....You read that right! HE FUCKING SHITS HIMSELF! TUBGIRL STYLE!!!!((If you don't know what that is, don't look it up, you will never be the same again x3)) WHY?! SHITS AND GIGGLES! LITERALLY!
So after the lil fecalphilliac retreats in humiliation and disappointment that his father lied to him about not being laughed at, Mumble and the other adults make some halfassed attempt at consoling him. They decide to just leave him in the tender, loving care of his two best friends....I'm guessing they're suppose to be maybe 9 at the most...Great parenting if you ask me! Of course they're TOTALLY shocked when the baby penguins are MISSING a bit later...Oh, little kids don't make good baby sitters? Could have fooled me! Oh, but only Mumble has the common sense to go looking for them...The rest of the parents have that lovely "Oh they'll turn up!" attitude! Why? Maybe they're stoned...Just like the writers of this movie!
So after this, the kids follow Ramone out to the middle of nowhere for some reason..He gets shoved in the water, which starts this lovely epidemic of the side story of the gay krill...Yes, you read right...GAY KRILL...One decides to leave the swarm and his friend goes with them...They realize whales are eating them and then they have this little side story of self discovery where they talk about evolving, finding the new meaning of their lives, having/adopting kids together, and finally finding eachother again after they "break up" for awhile.....About the ONLY thing this had to do with anything was it played on the scientific aspect of everything...A bit...And at the end they KINDA ALMOST tie in their story with the penguin's...But THAT"S IT!!! They had NOTHING to do with ANYTHING!!!!
So back to our normal story...Mumble finds the kids in the Adele nation, where Eric has encountered a Puffin who he believes is a flying penguin...The Puffin gives him hope for one day flying himself and gives him this lesson to believe in himself and his dreams just before Mumble gathers all the kids like the good little daddy he is and escorts them home...Along the way, they encounter a very rude and mildly retarded elephant seel who apparently doesn't understand the concept of backing up across this bridge thingy because APPARENTLY that's against his religion or some crap. The bridge breaks, he falls into a crevasse, Mumble goes on a crazy ass journey to get him out, ends up pissing off a leopard seel to break through the ice sealing him in, the elephant seel goes back to his home land with his two pups and tells Mumble he owes his life to him, etc etc...Oh, and Eric thought that he psychically made that happen...I don't know why...
Meanwhile, back at home, a FUCKING MOUNTAIN OR ICEBURG OR SOME CRAP SOMEHOW CRASHES INTO EMPEROR LAND AND TRAPS ALL THE FUCKING PENGUINS INSIDE DUE TO GLOBAL WARMING! X.x
They're trapped...Some singing ensues...The adele penguins show up and form a chain to bring the trapped penguins fish despite the fact that EMPEROR PENGUINS CAN GO MONTHS WITHOUT FOOD!!!! They find a human ship, which the Puffin is terrified of due to being rescued in an oil spill by one and thinking he was going to be eaten....Lovelace was too apparently...Go figure....But instead of CONFRONTING his fears and flagging down the ship himself, the Puffin hides like a little bitch and lets Lovelace go do it. Remember kids! If you're afraid of something, don't be brave, stay in your comfort zone and somebody else will make things ALL BETTER! But of course a storm pops out of fucking NOWHERE so the people leave and the penguins stay trapped....So then everybody is falling off cliffs and dancing around like retards...They get the elephant seels to help them break off the ice and create a way out of Emperor land...
Oh, and to summarize my favorite part and the best damn part of this entire movie...
Puffin: LET ME SHOW YOU THE DANCE OF MY PEOPLE!!!! *Dances around like a spazz* MA YA HIII!!! MA YA HUUU!!! MA YA HAAAA!!! MA YA HA HA!!!!
They killed off heart songs, there wasn't really much of a story line that I saw, no moral lessons were learned except for "Sometimes you gotta back up"...Might work great for that woman from that one YouTube video...Mumble apparently reverted back to a state where he had more fluff and no tail scar, they put a sweater on Lovelace after the oil spill for shits and giggles, gay shrimp preach about evolution and finding your one true purpose, Eric never achieves his dream of flying and is sorta good at singing but that doesn't matter anymore...Oh, and penguin scat...

Pretty sure I just lost the war....
Posted 14 years agoFor the past week I've been vigilantly battling the stomach flu bug that's been going through my house, silently striking person after person, working it's way through us all....First it was my dad with not very many symptoms..Next it was all my siblings, one after another....I fought hard until the last...I sprayed down the entire bathroom with disinfectant spray before I used it...I washed and sanitized my hands whenever I even THOUGHT about the virus....I made a point of staying away from everyone who was actively throwing up...I even cut several of my bathroom-based activities out of my daily routine, including scrubbing my face twice daily and filling up my water bottle in there...But it seems I have lost.
It's good in a way...I was getting sick of fighting...I was getting sick of my routine being so out of whack...I was getting sick of never knowing WHEN it was coming, or if I would be next...x.x But now, I must fight this demon inside of me...All while attempting to get homework done before the REAL fun part begins. x.x
Yes, I am being very overly dramatic but I HAVE been overly dramatic for the past week...I might as well continue.

Posted 14 years agoLast week my dad had some sort of stomach bug that made him nauseated and such...Now 3 more family members have gotten it since then...I've heard others talking about getting it as well, so I'm just like....Freaking the fuck out o.o;;; I've been disinfecting EVERYTHING, including myself, like crazy! And now I feel like I might be getting some sort of cramps and I'm scared as crap...Like...If I do get it I seriously wish for massive bloody diarrhea! No vomiting! I hate vomiting! I have a fear of it!

Posted 14 years agoSo my math teacher gave us an online quiz of the top 5 most missed questions on the last test we had...You know, as well as test corrections to help earn back missed points...Of those 5 questions, I missed I think 4 of them on the test...And being a determined, stubborn ass, I wouldn't quit until I got a perfect 10/10....It took me....12 tries...SERIOUSLY A DOZEN TRIES....But I FINALLY effing did it...X.x I actually had to LEARN the material and FINALLY got it...BUT I DID IT!

Posted 14 years agoI hardly seem to have time to do any REAL drawing anymore....Yet I almost constantly doodle all over my notes in class...Sometimes that's ALL I do, like on days when we're doing something easy in math or when I know I can just read up on whatever it is later. So why don't I just UPLOAD the good doodles?
