General | Posted 8 years agoSo, as you can see from my Journal Title, 2017 can just fucking go and be done with itself.
GO, bye, BYE FELICIAAAAAAAAAA! *drop kicks it*
2017 was just a smidge less sucktastic than 2016 for me. More ups and downs instead of the almost ever perpetual presences of stress/negativity/depression/anxiety but seriously, just by a bit.
Obviously, the “ups” are my highlights of the year, which I shall list below so this isn’t just a post full of me being Negative Nancy. (leave Nancy out of this, she’s had it hard, of course she’s negative damnit!)
✰ I survived it.
✰ I got closer to people that matter to me. Over the years I’ve weeded out and gotten rid of people that were toxic or I was merely a friend of convenience. I’ve laughed, cried, talked, and of course drank more with my beloved friends. Lol I am a very firm believer in the phrase “Good food, good booze and good friends"
✰ Megaplex XVI- 6th time attending and as always amazing. Not only is it now pretty much my mates Bday present but it is for me, literally a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s my mid-year “OK, you can do it, you can make it” get me through kinda thing. Not just for the vacation, the Con and everything but also the amazing friends we’ve made there. You know who you are. :3 ❤❤❤
✰October- My mate and I’s anniversary, we’ve made it 9 years now. I got an original art piece from one of his favorite arts, Alison Action of Bearnuts. It made him cry, totes win the present game XD
Also always awesome time of year to get decor for the houseand what not. Plus its of course it's our favorite season. =^_^=
✰ Spent my Bday on the beach of St. Augustine as well as a few more just for a mini vacation. It was just so nice not to have a “forced” agenda for a trip out of town. Literally just winged it w/ vague ideas. It was wonderful and I cannot get the image of the sea with the moon over it out of my mind.
✰ New artist to be inspired by, new music and YouTubers that gives me life and new art supplies to play with.
✰ Epic Gaming Laptop (HP OMEN) bc my old one of many years died. I got it for a freaking steal on Cyber Monday on Amazon. Still can’t believe it. T^T<3
✰ Yule. Around this time of year, the holidays, I tend to not enjoy. Mix of childhood memories but mostly the hypocrisy of it all. Brings the worst out of people as well as their stupidity. Everyone goes mad! My mate and I were determined to try and make it better for us. We ended up decorating the front of the house as Nightmare Before Christmas theme! Not to mention out normal traditions that we always do but the outside was something new.
✰ New Years. Ended up spending time with my brother in law at his new place and it was very pleasant and nice. It's amazing what a life or death situation can do to people. lol
Short and sweet I am going to try my damnedest to make 2018 better than the last 2 years. I know there are things out of my control, of course, as there will always be. Although for me I find things getting harder to deal with getting older vs when I was younger. (yay lol) I just hope work will improve and stop being a cluster and that I can focus on my art again and do/explore more things. I’m not getting any younger and I need to do more while I still can financially/ mentally/ physically...
Sometimes you spend so much time just trying to survive and function that you tend to forget to live.

I'll keep it short and sweet. Pretty much things did not improve for me and mine after the con. Really, REALLY wanted and tried for 2017 to be an improvement but alas. Work/Home balance was/has been taking its toll. Not to mention life crap in general was not an improvement. Mostly dealing with my own issues.
That being said, things are hopefully looking like they are finally starting to see the light at the end of the freaking tunnel. I'm slowly going to be creeping back into things and the like. Please have patience and bear with me as I go through updating stuff. Still trying to figure out if I want to nuke everything and start from scratch or sift through things. Please don't think I've been ghosting and just not talking to peeps. Pretty much if you're not a contact outside of FA/DA then you haven't heard much from me. Even then, I've been pretty inconsistent with other social media, so yeah.
I'm going to keep Commissions Closed for now untill I feel more confident about everything.

My mate and I will be attending this year again, thank the gods. For a while there, I really thought with how things have/were going that something would prevent us.
We'll be showing up early, so Thursday Day we'll be there all the way through Monday. It's going to be SO freaking amazing to get away, check out the new property and con space!!!! X3

MIA & Megaplex 2016!

Holy Hell! I guess I’ve been gone a while huh? ^^;
Well about that….I haven’t forgotten about this place, nor my friends here or my art. (Ty for those who have been supportive & understanding ♡♥♡)
Short and sweet since summer of last year my life has kinda been a never ending cluster fuck.
My mother passed away. I sorta was thrusted into being an unofficial interim supervisor of my department at work until they hired someone other than me months later, which really added to my overall stress, anxiety/depression that I have been struggling with on and off for years annnnd cherry on top... My mate had to have major surgery again after just a few years since the last one.
Oh and the sprinle on top, we had a department merger with our main corporate office and it pretty much mirrors our current political situation here in the USA.
That being said, I'm moving forward and working on the future. I'm hoping to work on more art, open back up for commissios and overall just improve not just myself but my art.
NOW for Megaplex 2016!!!

General | Posted 11 years ago I feel like crying. 37 years they've been going, my mate said he's listen to them since he could drive. I know I've listen to them since HS. It really sad to me, it's like knowing you wont met up with a friend anymore for breakfast. CarTalk was apart of my mates and I's Saturday morning every week! I would even pull up the old episode during the week just to listen to it again. He will be sorely missed but I want to think more of how many smiles and laughs he helped gave then the tears of his loss. He will be missed indeed but not forgotten. Rest in peace, you knuckle head.

Commission Content/Themes
I have the right to refuse any commission on the basis of the content requested. I do draw adult/mature art but I do not do scat, watersports, cub/child, bestiality, inflation, extreme violence, hateful/extremely degrading, and most vore. If you do have a particular fetish that's not clearly covered in the above, then feel free to contact me with questions.
Copyright
I retain the copyright to the images I produce. (Meaning that I have the right to use your commission in my portfolio, my gallery, or as an advertisement for my services.) Your character(s) remain copyright to you of course. I will not make prints of your commission to sell without your approval. You do not have the rights to reproduce, alter, or use the image I created in another piece of artwork without my consent.
Re-posting and Private Commissions
You have the right to post your commission on your own website or gallery, as long as you give me credit for creating the art and provide a link back to me.
I will update my gallery with your commission piece to any of the art websites on which I currently have an account. If you do wish your commission posted for any reason, you must specify this in the commission negotiations that this is a "private commission." If it is a "surprise" commission that you do not want posted prior to a certain date please state that also.
Payment
All payments are in USD, I only accept payment through PayPal unless otherwise posted or agreed upon (i.e Conventions) Payment must be received prior to me beginning a commission, unless other negations have been made. Please do NOT send payment until I have accepted your commission.

That being said, please keep in mind I work for a living and work well over 40 hours a week, art is sadly not my main source of income. This will not be an excuse for excessive delays but merely and explanation for the limited amount of time I do have to work on art.

If a commissioner is determined by the artist to be difficult, confrontational, or otherwise unpleasant, I reserve the right to cancel the commission outright and issue a refund for the work which has not been completed.
Approval and Revisions
As mentions above, I am a firm believer in communication and I will keep you posted on the stages of your commission, from start to end. I will ask for approval of sketch, line art, and coloring, unless you specifically request otherwise.
Shipping

See, not dead! HA! :D
Anywho, I have a friend of mine who is interested in selling his used Wacom tablet monitor. He wants to make sure it goes to good use and has asked me to signal boost where I can on art sites he isn't really involved with much with them now a days. He's thinking about $1750 OBO, Wacom doesn't offer this one anymore and I don't think they even did any where close to that price, old one was at it's old price of $2k.

Sorry if I haven't been very social or MIA period as of late.
I've been focusing on myself a lot. Mostly exercising after work, working on art when I can and trying to realign myself spiritually. Really trying to fit everything in but I have to prioritize, unfortunately theres just not enough hours in the day. :(

Holiday Commissions?

General | Posted 12 years agoIt's Turkey Day here in the States, I hope everyone has a blessed harvest, and try and reflect upon what they are thankful for. Granted I am a pessimist/realist and I think you should be thankful throughout the year, but I know it's harder around the holidays. :)
To my friends outside the States, I shall eat and drink for you! Know that my online friends near and far, I too am thankful for you :3 (you know who you are.... ;p )

General | Posted 12 years agoI get asked a lot of questions surprisingly about my corsets, do don'ts and where I buy'em.
Below is a quick summary for the ADD for care, Do's & Don't, and where I buy them the most.
Two quick and GREAT video's on Corset's in general, fist one will be on Corset Stereo Types, second on Corset Care! Because even I was guilty of some mistreatment at first due to ignorance.

Where I buy:

This is just the top place I buy them, there are one or two more places I might go to but for the most part it's Corset Story, why? Corset's can go up to as high as $200 I've seen. I do not make that kinda money for something I sadly cannot wear all the time. (actually even my jeans are from thrift stores so yeah, not even if I wore all the time XD )
I tend to shop at Corset Story for two reasons:
1) Adorable as all get out, REAL steal bone corsets in SO many many fabrics and designs
2) They put them on sale (as cheap as $30 USD) and/or have a series of "Corsets of the Day" or COTD. It's pretty much a whole sale for corsets that they have too much in inventory at the moment and need to get out. Please note that this will be limited to sizes if you don't jump on them.
I am a 22" :P
Also if you are curious on how to measure yourself, it's mentioned in the corset care video but all you have to do is take a tape measure (cloth pref) and from the tip, wrap it around your waist. This will give you the initial measurement until you can be fitted or measured after you wear your corset. If in doubt, GOOGLE!
Please note that yes, you will most likely NOT believe your corset size at first. Think about it. Your buying something that is know for making you look like you have a smaller waist....just saying.
