For the future.

I'm going to try to start drawing traditionally some more again. Maybe not full on art, but sketching, and maybe some inking at the very least. Though how I'll manage to keep my inking abilities out of digital is the question. I tend to be very loose with my inking strokes in digital, and in traditional that can lead to lines going where they probably shouldn't. lol

That, and I've rather lost the ability to draw things proportionately on paper. I do blame the fact that after a while I only had time to art while on my computer, and accidentally forgot to continue carrying a sketchbook with me wherever I went. So, while I finally got through the learning curve of drawing things proportionately on a tablet....... I lost the ability to do so on paper for the time being. Faces are fine. Trying to draw bodies... is hilariously bad. lol

Of course, relearning that does also have it's reasoning. I'm considering getting a Cintq 13hd eventually, whether by saving up parts of my checks from work, or by opening commissions over here... Or even finding a work at home job to do on the side... Who knows. I know I don't just have $999 to drop randomly though. But, considering a Cintq works more like traditional media with the way the screen is presented in general, I need to sorta know how to draw like that again before I even drop the money. I'll also be looking into a Galaxy Note 10 for out and about, digital drawing purposes. And thus some little niggly things I'll want to go with it. Like a carrying case and that jazz.

Also going to possible start making charms. Need to get my hands on some Shrinky Dink first, and then try it out with some of my OCs I've done chibis of. I'm a bit excited about that, and if it works out, I may even do charms of some of my favorite games, shows, etc... And maybe even open a serious Storenvy or something to sell them. Wish me luck on that front though. marketing myself is a little frightening, and not something I find myself exceptionally good at, really.

And lastly, once I've finished up that glorious to do list ( over here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5843768/ ) I'll probably, most likely... I PLAN ON... opening up requests. Although I realllly need to type up specifics of how I'm going to handle those, and the stipulations about them. (Mostly keeping people from pestering me if they made a request and I did not deign to draw it.)

I have a feeling this all is going to take longer than I want it to... But I suppose we shall see.

To draw with a couple of mine sooner or later. (really depends, because I barely have any time to do anything lately. :I)

But anyway, for one of my unicorn boys, I'm looking for other unicorn characters, or other equine characters. Maybe also deer characters? Male, female, I don't care. Up to you if you want me to draw m/m or m/f.

And another character I'd like to doodle with other people's characters is my squirrel girl Amante (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11726026/). Other fluffy characters would be lovely. But either way, up to you. And same as with the other. Male or female characters are welcome.

And lastly... Do any of you have some Halloween themed characters? I've got an idea for this year's halloween picture, of course featuring my own Halloween character, Samhain (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13704459/), but it's hard to do without another Halloween themed character. ;A;

So, right now I'm using a Bamboo Create Tablet. I've had it like... Two or Three years at this point. 8|
And, admittedly, it got fucked up a bit by a family member near the beginning. Mostly pertaining to the cord.
(in that it doesn't like to stay connected if I so much as barely bump it any more)
They kinda moved it off my desk without first disconnecting the cord, which means the cord got ripped out of the tablet port on the side. lol B|

I've also been having issues with it, as it's driver constantly likes to funk out at least once every other day, which means I either have to delete my preferences constantly. Or constantly restart my computer in the middle of doing something. :/

So, at this point, I'm getting fed up, and it's getting more and more frustrating to handle.
So my question is this.

What tablet should I buy/save up for/maybe do commissions to pay for??
I was thinking an Intous 5 wouldn't be too bad.
But should I save up for a Cintq instead? Despite the fact that those bitches cost an arm and a leg? ;A;

I've been wanting a Cintq for years. But I'm still wondering if it's worth the price or not. lol

Opinions? Ideas? Thoughts?

In the mean time, I'm certain my tablet will continue to work well enough. I'm just hitting the last straw.

I'm thinking about doing streams eventually?

I'm fairly laid back and non-serious unless the situation is actually supposed to be taken seriously.
I'm fairly shy, but also friendly, and will happily talk to just about anyone as long as their initial interactions with me aren't presented in such a way that they make me uncomfortable or are something I consider rude.
(i.e. Like someone bluntly hitting on me or someone being an insulting asshole)
I'm quite vulgar, and use 'profane' language quite often both in typing and verbally. I can attempt to censor myself a bit if needed, or if it makes you uncomfortable.
But usually words like fuck, bitch, and shit slip through. Verbally I can get a bit worse, since I like the 'c-word'.
Hahaha... Just not aimed at other people.

I tend to be a bit of a slow artist depending on what I am working on.
Less because I don't know exactly what I am doing (though this is sometimes the case), and more because my attention span can be a fickle creature.
And I am prone to either switching between multiple projects at once, or completely deviating from doing the art in general and end up browsing the internet instead. lol
I'm attempting to work on this.

Lately I've made myself be less anal about how I work artistically (lately being roughly the last year or two), and go at things with a bit more of a free approach, not completely worrying about proportions.
This isn't to say I totally ignore them or ignore anatomy.
I still pay attention to them, I'm just less prone to throwing a picture out simply because I couldn't perfect the proportions or anatomy.
I'm not particularly looking for critique, but if you want to offer it on something, I won't have a bitchfit.

I'm mostly of the artistic notion that, I do want to get better, but I'm not inclined to bust my butt every waking moment to do so.
I do not share 99% of my studies or practice images, because they
A.) Embarrass me and
B.) usually look like ass until I figure out how to do whatever it is I am working on.
(probably going to be perspective and animals soon.......)
So, while I may turning out and posting stuff on here that doesn't mean I'm not doing studies or practicing offline. ;3

I know I don't progress or even put in as much effort as some people would like, especially some other artists.
But honestly, living my life on the whims of others has only led me down paths of unhappiness with either myself or my art.
And I'm finally happy with where I am going with my art.
So... I think I'll go at my own pace for the time being.
And if I need that extra shove? Then I'll happily ask for it. ;3

I have a whole slew of things I like and dislike. But it's hard as hell to list them out. 8|
