Posted 5 years agoMilkin' that stupid title 'cause my wittiness is non-existent at the moment.
If you were to look in to my head you'd see an endless void of pure nothingness with the omnipresent sound of a balloon being water-boarded.
Now that I've figured out HOW to do journals again (sheesh it's been a while) figured it might be an idea to slowly start workin' on some things around the profile, the journal seemed befittin' if not a lil' redundant as those who once watched me have most likely moved on to greener pastures.
But blue's better than green anyway (apologies, Kermit).
I've constantly wanted to dip my toe back in to the community for some time now, I still associate a lot of my productivity n even creativity while within certain groups or among certain people n a place such as FA was ripe with what I needed (or craved).
Whether this will actually HELP or HINDER remains to be seen, but for now I figured there's no harm in at least givin' it a shot.
So I suppose the point of this journal is... Lookin' to chat?
This all seemed much more prominent in my mind's eye, but the days of IRC are gone n havin' emerged from out beneath my rock has left me lost in time.

Posted 7 years agoOKAY so first off lemme say a big THANK YOU to all those people who have watched, favourited n commented on my stuff despite my egregiously long time spent MIA - I can't believe how popular a picture of a facehugger sucklin' on a tiddy can be!
Secondly: I APOLOGISE BUT REGRET NOTHIN' FOR THE AVALANCHE OF ART ABOUT TO COMMENCE.
In my absence I have still been doin' art here n there, though not as much as I would have liked. Alas I think it best I just post all that I have, whether it's crappy or just a sketch.
Thirdly: There's a heap of new artistic talent poppin' up that I feel needs a good strong shout-out.
- An amazin' lil' prodigy who I have had the privilege of watchin' slowly grow in art skills with both tablet n paper. They are new n are attemptin' to make a name for themselves with their wonderful art, so go give 'em a poke - they may have what you want!
- This stubborn bitch just decided one day that they were goin' to start dumpin' out art n in the course of a few months their talent sky-rocketed faster n higher than I could throw my tablet out of frustration. They too are lookin' to make waves n they certainly are on the right path, so give 'em a look if you like puppers.
- This big bloody boof has a talent that I cannot fathom; the ability to capture detail with the least amount of strokes but the highest amount of comical value. They've been doodlin' at animation n so much of it is just pure gold. Go give this witty nerd some love.
- I probably gave a shout-out to these peeps before, but once more shouldn't hurt - especially since an incredibly good friend is involved n they have grown so much with their art.
Finally:
That's pretty much it, actually - I've made a bunch of journals explainin' why I've gone on hiatus before so seems a bit silly to repeat myself!
Though I do hope to start rearin' my ugly blue head up around the fuzz community a bit more, I have definitely missed the wonder n excitement I felt when first I declared myself a fur.

More than anythin' I'd love to get the word out.
With just over a day left on the auction, I would extremely appreciate any of you who would be able to promote; though of course I can't ask such a thing because it's against FA TOS.
Already happy that this has gotten some nibbles, but I feel I'm startin' to make some major headyway with my art n am hopin' this will spark off more of an interest.

Riding the waves of a recluse (Telegram, BookFace & WoW)

My productivity is often driven by motivation n of course motivation tends to drop quite a bit from time to time when you don't get a followin' (But you need to be productive to get a followin' so really it's just a VICIOUS circle of bum-fuggery!)
I have been job jumpin' for a while now n a lot of wheels are beginnin' to set in motion - I'm gettin' slightly happier with my life though I'm still not where I want to be n depression has reared its ugly head to remind me that NONE OF US CAN ESCAPE ITS OILY GRASP!
Pessimism aside though, I'm feelin' my art juices flow again n I'd like to harness the shit out of that n milk (murr) that cow (murrmurr) until it's dry (not murr). So please keep your fingers crossed for a strugglin' artist, good energy is always loved.
Goin' to try n be more active in the social media aspect of things, startin' with FaceBook n a new thing called Telegram that everyone's jumpin' on board for.
I'd like to expand my social circle a bit more - so if you would like to chat or talk etc. I'm happy to keep in contact; if you'd like my Facebook, Telegram or Steam name, give me a poke! I want to meet new people.
As for the World of Warcraft side of things, Blizzard has once again made me their bitch n I'm captivated by the Legion expansion (N I'm enjoyin' the shit out of it)

This lil' mischief-maker has been keepin' me VERY busy since I got him; I've barely gotten any sleep but it's all been fun n excitin' n it will be totally worth it.
NOW I know I don't pump out a lot of art - but especially now I'll be very slow as I have to watch him like a hawk in his puppy stages.

Posted 9 years agoI opened up slots for wing-it sketches but I'm either not well known enough or my prices are too steep for my work, so I've decided to kick it back to $10USD for a wing-it.
I've paid for my Security License n bought myself a new tablet after my old one died. While I did have the cash I didn't really want to dip in to such funds n it's left a bit of a gapin' hole (Calm down) in my account.
So yes, if you would like a $10 Wing-It sketch then please let yourself be known!
I would also be extremely humble to those who are willin' to spread the word of this, but of course it isn't necessary.

New Tablet & Free Art!
Posted 9 years agoWell I went n got a new tablet - one of the Wacom Intuos', managed to haggle the price down too which is even MORE of a bonus.
It's really nice, rather smooth but the important thing is IT'S BLUE!
Certainly still gettin' the feel of it, it's a lot more sensitive, I'm use to puttin' an ample amount of pressure on the pen while I draw n I don't have to do that here.
So I need to reign the sucker in as well as I need to get more people interested in my art; I wish I knew the first steps on how to make a name for yourself, but in the mean time I'll give out free art so my skills are more on display (Plus I need more references to my sketches as examples for the wing-it sketches I'm tryin' to sell)
WHAT TO DO
1.) Pick a number between 1-100
2.) Pick a colour
3.) Tell me I'm pretty
I've already chosen the number, colour (N I know I'm already handsome as hell, but it always helps) N will offer a free sketch to a winner (or two).

Art Tablet finally died - Recommendations for another?
Posted 9 years agoAlways a pain in the ass to have it break down on you mid-art; but alas nothin' lasts forever. This Bamboo has lasted me for somethin' close to 4 years now - even then it was second-hand by someone who did even more art than me, so it certainly had some mileage to it.
I was wonderin' if anyone can recommended another type of tablet - Wacom bein' the leadin' brand would be lovely, had my eye on the Intuos as it's rather similar to the Bamboo but I'm open to suggestions.
In a time when I REALLY need/want to do art I'm unfortunately goin' to have to put a halt on it until I can grab myself another tablet, which also means dippin' in to funds I'd rather not have to touch; on top of the fee for my security license.
Life certainly has a way of kickin' ya while you're down.

$15 Wing-Its - Time to BUCKLE UP! (Life Update)

A LOT
A slightly more detailed update would be that I've been goin' through some bumpy patches but also some good bumpy patches too (you know the ones I'm talkin' about).
I had a job for a while as a personal assistant n was required to make a REALLY tough decision as to whether or not I wanted to keep it n follow in to a career; suffice to say I thanked them for the offer but in the end decided it'd just strip my soul away one weekday at a time.
It opened my eyes however to a lot of things, one bein' how much I really want to make art a career - though I know jumpin' straight in to this would be financial suicide, so with much delight I can finally say that I've got a security job lined up that I believe I can work in tandem with art production.
Only issue is the cost of my license took a huge chunk out of the beached carcass that is my bank account.
So I figured I'd spearhead my ambitions with one of those "fund-raiser goal things."
I'll be offerin' up $15 Wing-Its in 5-slot intervals that'll most likely happen on a weekly basis - or until I reach my $500 goal.
The aim is to have it done in a month, if I can accomplish this, then I think I can really get underway as a proper artist (it's certainly somethin' to aspire towards)
I am also in the process of slowly updatin' my FA Profile - It'd help if I knew WTF I was doin' however <3

Commemorating the Fallen: Memorial Day
Posted 9 years agoI wanted to take a moment to give my regards to all of you celebrating this Memorial Day holiday.
This day in itself is not actually celebrated by Australians, we have our own memorial days set throughout other times durin' the year; but regardless of date or nationality we venerate the fallen all the same.
Despite this not being a public holiday for me, my thoughts go out to those who gave their life in the line of service - men, women, young & old - as they very much deserve recognition for such a sacrifice.
So please enjoy your day today, toast the fallen, remember them - each n every - n give your wishes to those who will be rememberin' a son, daughter, mother or father today.

Well a funky awesome thing happened n I'm actually startin' a legitimate 9-to-5 (technically 8 to 4 but pffsht) job tomorrow (HUMP DAY~!) for an indefinite period n I'm actually quite hyped about it. Mainly 'cause a job with regular hours usually means decent money n MMMmMMMMoney is always good <3
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ART?
... Pffsht who am I kiddin', s'not like I'm gonna use this as an excuse to not to art or a reason as to why I've not been doin' art - that's just me bein' downright lazy. In fact this may see a productive increase in my art levels (I really hope so 'cause that'd be all kinds of awesome).
While I HAVE been doin' art it's not really "post-worthy" art, mostly doodles n practices etc.

Hump Day Raffles (New Perspective)
Posted 9 years agoOkay so for those of you that had been followin' these journals know that I've recently started up a tribute to the glorious middle of the week, our wonderful Wednesday better known as Hump Day
Originally I had intended this to be a push for me to do more art, n it has worked - though I think I may have bitten off a tad more than I can conceivably swallow.
I had also wanted to gain more n more watchers in hopes that more watchers would mean more of a fanbase n more of a fanbase would hopefully have been an incentive to do heaps more art, which would make my skills better which would increase the people commissionin' me N YOU CAN SEE THE GREAT CIRCLE HERE.
I'm still nowhere skilled enough to be pumpin' out so much art on a weekly basis, n especially now that I need money more than ever, I need to do things for some extra caps.
So startin' next week the Hump Day's will be turned in to YCH's; however I will, at the very least once a month, do a hump day raffle so people have the chance for some free art still.
Last Hump Day Raffle picture is nearin' completion, it's only taken so long 'cause I've been tryin' out new ways to shade n line etc. n just overall experiment.
Anywho, at least y'all are updated now - I thank each n every one of you for your support, it's what keeps an artist goin' n will hopefully be what I needed to kickstart a mini art-career, fingers (n ears) crossed.

I had also wanted to gain more n more watchers in hopes that more watchers would mean more of a fanbase n more of a fanbase would hopefully have been an incentive to do heaps more art, which would make my skills better which would increase the people commissionin' me N YOU CAN SEE THE GREAT CIRCLE HERE.
I'm still nowhere skilled enough to be pumpin' out so much art on a weekly basis, n especially now that I need money more than ever, I need to do things for some extra caps.
So startin' next week the Hump Day's will be turned in to YCH's; however I will, at the very least once a month, do a hump day raffle so people have the chance for some free art still.
Last Hump Day Raffle picture is nearin' completion, it's only taken so long 'cause I've been tryin' out new ways to shade n line etc. n just overall experiment.
Anywho, at least y'all are updated now - I thank each n every one of you for your support, it's what keeps an artist goin' n will hopefully be what I needed to kickstart a mini art-career, fingers (n ears) crossed.

I gotta admit, I have gathered quite a few more watchers since doin' the raffles, however it doesn't seem I'm gatherin' many more people to enter the raffle, at this rate with only so many enterin' I may have to postpone raffles from time to time.
Either that or make it a bi-weekly or even monthly thing, we shall see

I've done Girl on Girl n Guy on Guy so let's mix it up n go Guy on Girl (Or Girl on Guy dependin' on your submissive/dominance preference)

If these rules aren't met or if you post references not in relation to this week's hump day raffle I will be VERY cross n may even sigh loudly.
RULES ARE AS FOLLOW:
- You gotta be watchin’ me, that’s only fair. Free art is good but respect to artists is even gooder!
- You may only enter one character per raffle
- If you win a raffle then congrats! However this will put you on a “cooldown” period that will prevent you from enterin’ the raffle again for some time (To keep it fair for others).
- No difficult characters. I’m sorry but if you own 24ft tall 7 penis danglearm monster (That’s totally hot) then I’ll have to forfeit that character. Until I get better n more confident in my artistic skills. This includes Wings & tattoo's
- No Ferals, MLP's, Pokemon, Digimon or anythin' else that comes off as feral.
- Males will be given a Number n Females will be given a colour, the two groups will be then be randomly selected with the top winners bein' paired together.
MALES & FEMALE CHARACTERS ONLY! No Herms or C-Boys or any variation thereof.
Please give a 3 word description of the character since this will be used for the Wing-It style of Raffle.
RAFFLE WILL BE DRAWN IN ROUGHLY 24 HOURS!

Important Update - Money & Raffle

I've hit the biggest bump I think I've ever come across as an adult n holy crap, I hate adultin'.
Same of you may or may not have noticed that I've removed my previous Hump Day journal; this is for 2 reasons.
The first bein' that, bein' sleep deprived n financially (N emotionally) stressed, got rather peeved at seein' people enter Herm characters in to the raffle after clearly statin' it was a male & female raffle only - herms will have their chance.
The second reason is I just got the bill to my car that I got fixed several weeks back n damnit that was too many numbers before the decimal.
The idea behind the raffle was to increase my output (Or help increase) in art so that I may take on commissions n YCH's in order to pump several out at once, thus a larger cash flow.
Always seems easier in my mind.
I want to continue the raffle n I may just do that - but I am also seriously goni' to have to consider taken on commissions n puttin' up YCH's as well because I am at prostitutional-levels of desperation.
If there are any artists out there, particularly ones that make a livin' off of their art or there-of, I would greatly appreciate any help with words of wisdom as to how you do it n how you pace yourselves.
This is somethin' I think I seriously need to do - if I'm not bein' called in to work then I need to be at home gettin' art done.

Unfortunately not only am I busy tomorrow but I've done some serious strain to my arms thanks to a rigorous session at the gym (Sounds sexier than it actually was)
So drawin' is provin' to be a tad bit difficult at the moment.
HOWEVER next week I should be well n good to continue on.

Possible HUMP DAY raffle
Posted 10 years agoI need somethin’ to make me happy, n nothin’ makes me happier than drawin’ porn.
Okay I lie, the only thing that makes me happier than drawin’ porn is bein’ IN the porn ^^
But I have an idea that’s somethin’ akin to that iron artist thing, n no it’s not an iron penis or anythin’ like that. I’m runnin’ with the idea of possibly holdin’ a raffle every Wednesday as a “Hump Day” raffle where 2 random winners are paired up with one another for some hump day fun.
Still haven’t worked out the kinks (Such as pairin’ the two up) but would like feedback on the idea. It’ll give me a challenge to work towards, causin’ me to pump out (Hurr) an art piece a week, n best of all it’s smut ^^ So everyone wins
Let me know what you think, any ideas or suggestions n if you would enter.
