I'm not much of a 3D modeler...and i'm a poor starving artist.

I was wondering if any of you out there could help me build a SL avatar (I've had my account like 8 months, and the human me is annoying)

Well, after realizing the vast amount of subject matter I tend to work on, I've split my pricing into two separate groups, based on the -type- of artwork requested.

Well, bills come and go, but money is always needed.

Therefore I'm opening up commissions.

I only have one restriction as far as material goes, I don't draw scat, outside of that, I'll draw anything your warped minds can imagine. See footer for commission pricing.

Well, after a lot of thought and deliberation I have made a decision. It's a decision that I think every artist wants to make, but also has some degree of fear behind doing it, since there's no guarantee.

Friday (March 3rd) will be my last day at my job. I'm quitting to take on being an artist full time.

What this means basically, is that my art will be my sole income, so hopefully you lovely people all around might help me out by purchasing a little/asking for commissions.

I will be posting much more, links to auctions, original pieces for sale, etc.

About a day after I posted the Kamil pic, I showed it to my mentor, who shall remain nameless for this rant, though he is a former artist for both DC and Chaos comics.

He looked at the piece and proceeded to compliment the art, and then thoroughly trash the concept of blended color.

Now =I= personally like the style and I think it suits the artwork I do, he believes it takes away from the effort put into things like inking and detailing.

So, my question is 2 fold.
A) Do you think he's right?
and
B) What coloring methods do you prefer?
