I got mine the day after it was released and made Bust-A-Move Universe my game of choice. Gave it the full charge yesterday and read the entirely manual backwards to be fully informed on everything this new portable can do before I even turn the power on. I'll start playing it later on this evening.

I actually got it on release day and spent the entire day getting all available Freebie DLs installed before actually getting to playing. What I really like about this game is that it allows you to import your character from the previous game over into it. I've only played so little, but I really like how it works.

This is something that I thought might catch the attention of others that loved the Parasite Eve series. I found out that The 3rd Birthday is in fact PE3. I had my speculation about it when I saw that the female character looked strangely like Aya Brea and became more informed the other day when I read it in Game Informer. The story is rather strange and how Aya works in it even more strange, but I think it might be an interesting game if it at least sticks to the same mechanics as the previous games. I guess the only downside to people is that it is only on the PSP.

had a journal years ago that 5 people would get 1 of 5 types of icons she was practicing on doing. My icon turned out to be the hardest of all: A Full-Motion Character animation. It's been 4 years since then and she finally managed to get it done to a point that she was satisfied. I've currently made it my new icon. I pre-ordered the Red Wii last year before it was placed on shelves and was planning to buy it after I got my tax return, but found out that it was sold. I talked with my friend Scott (GM at the Gamestop I commonly occupy) and he found someone in PA that still had a copy and sent it over, in less than a week. I'm going to do as I normally do with new consoles I get: Read the Manual thoroughly and get started.

I'll definitely be getting myself familiar with the VC later since I've seen quite a few titles that I haven't played on the NES that I would love to play and beat.

I was thinking of having another contest and not have it be entirely Drawing-Artist oriented. So I was thinking my favorite hobby was a way to make it more fun and better interactions with the participants. I'm still shrouded in darkness as to what to do and how to make it work, but that's why I am asking for anyone and everyone that has a PS3 to list all your games (Disc-Based and Downloads) so I can possibly see about conjuring up something fitting that could be done. Since not everyone is into the same Genre, I have to work around that. Suggestions are also welcomed and I may see if I can do something for the person that gives me an idea that I choose to use as a contest. No promises.

Even if a contest doesn't blossom from this, I'm sure there's a benefit that would come from it as gamers...namely finding others that have the same interest and possibly having gaming sessions. To be honest, I'd be happy with it just being for fun than for prizes.

After 2 years of being Intermittent, it's finally over. I can now get more hours to work and benefits (The one thing I've been denied from the first day I was employed). Finally killed my Submission Backlog
After months of constant interruptions and crashes/moron, I've finally managed to kill the crap out of all 33K+ submissions. I'm glad that I've finally managed to get rid of most of them, though sorry that I did not give as many comments on those that I faved. Now if they would only make it so we can read more journals than 30 at a time, because I have almost 40K to go through and I know it will take longer.

MFM
It's that time of year again, only this time it's at a new location to better accommodate the attendees and for new events (Such as the Watergun Showdown that was mentioned during closing ceremonies last year). I still consider MFM my "Early B.Day gift" since it's a week before (Sept 12), so I'll enjoy it just the same as the past 5 years. Also, Verm's 13th year of creation is on the 29th of this month

Seems there's quite a few journals about others getting one or the other, but I might be the first to announce that has both. Pre-ordered so I got the figurines.

I pre-ordered GoW 3 LE to get the special skin, a free poster and Pandora's Box. It's going to make playing Final Fantasy XIII rather difficult since it just came out last week, especially when it was originally scheduled for an April Fool's Day release.

AC Roomspace Offering

I was just discussing AC yesterday night about AC rooming and it seems like The current 4 in the room (Myself, , & his wife) might be at the Omni hotel. There's a possibility of getting a 5th head or more in the room, or even upgrading to a suite if 8 people end up in the room. So I'd like to ask if there are anyone here that have intentions of going to AC this year that is looking to get a room or are uncertain if the group they are planning to room with are still sound to make yourselves known.

I can concur all are clean (Both in Hygiene & substance usage) so that is one issue that can be relaxed, there's only 1 room party on Saturday Evening and that's for the U & G group (I give those PG rating at best) that's only about 2-3 hours at best since most try to get to the Masquerade, and we'll be there from Thursday to Monday morning. Smoking, Drinking, & Drug use in the room is forbidden and will not be tolerated. As for the Room cost, $130 per person.


Dante's Inferno Divine Edition

I went to work today and was lucky that the Gamestop on the base was open long enough for me to get my pre-order of the game just before it closed. I'm just about to get started playing.

I got Darksiders & Bayonetta

I got them yesterday, but I didn't post about it since I was pretty much playing Darksiders (I set it on the hardest difficulty so I would take a while to beat it). It does kind of remind me of Devil May Cry (A.K.A.: DMC) ini the way it plays and how you get different weapons, but the gore factor is a bit more juicy. Being a fan of visceral destruction, I was having a ball making fatality chains on a high.

I didn't get to play Bayonetta yet, but I"ll be doing that more than likely after I post this. I pre-ordered them both at Gamestop, so I got to save $5 off on Bayonetta & got the Harvester Scythe for Darksiders (If anyone else got it, let me know if the card with the code came in the box like it did with mine. If it didn't and you bought a copy, let em know ASAP)

If there are anyone here that wants to know if a game Coming Soon will have some form of bonus material (artbook, controller, weapon, armor, etc.) when pre-ordered, let me know and I'll find out.

I had been setting up status message rants in my Y!M just for the sake of fun & and informing of things that have or always have been an annoyance to me and many on a high factual level in the form of Peter Griffin's (Family Guy) Grind My Gears. My good friend and my elder sister found my rants to be entertaining since everything I mentioned has been proven to be a true known fact that it is either a piss-off or a joke to deal with at any time anywhere. Many of what I posted have been related to and I have been given good comments about how they agreed and how I deliver it. I thought that as a mild form of entertainment that I would post a rant here on FA and see how it flows to others. Since I felt the first one I post should be related to this site, I decided to make it a bit longer than my status messages since I have more space to do so and so I can elaborate more. I'll try to keep others I post (Be that I choose to do so after this one) probably shorter if possible.

I will note now that I'm not targeting anyone specifically since there's a good chance that people might take offense. After all, there's probably people on my list that have done or been a victim to a certain rant and I have no knowledge of it because I have not had much interaction with everyone other than giving a comment and possible idle chats via IM. Not to mention things that go unspoken in those situations.

This has been an issue that pissed many people off and have made certain people get negative comments because of it. Why badger about something that you yourself have even less of when you can't, don't, or won't bother giving it in return? Like those certain individuals that actually take the time to type up a very extensive comment that literally covers all the aspects of the material that was either read or viewed. They get sideswiped for a comment of lesser value, and moreso if the person happens to be what they consider a VIP. Favortism, what a bastard way to make those that actually take time to give the work a diligent and thoughtful review only to prove with much gusto that it was all for naught.



I've even seen people give more attention to those that give REALLY negative or perpetually stupid comments to an image because of the content or what is not being seen in it due to personal preference. Why the crap are you giving them the gratification of your audience and forsakening the ones that actually do give appraisal? That's the grounds of being an egotistical Jack*** to those that have respect to you. Example:

"I don't have time to reply to the comments"
*Sarcasmic starter* Really? You don't have time to comment on me, yet you seem to have enough time to comment on a person treating your work like it IS the by-product of Premordial ooze, OPENLY for us ALL to see I might add, instead of taking it to private interaction? Wow...you suck.

Don't bother pissing on people for not doing something when you yourself are blind to the efforts of the few that try to make you feel good about the work you've done. You want respect and attention, try giving it instead of spitting about it, ya JERK!

Prologue

I preferred to watch films on the Morning they premiere since it's convenient and nets me the early choosing of the best seat in the place...but not this time around. I went in to see that nearly every last seat in the top area and most of the booth was already filled with people and a lot of children. Seems that some school decided to take advantage of this momentous occasion and brought 2nd graders to see this flick, and they were really well-behaved.

If anyone was wanting to know if Disney made a flop, I seriously can say they did not. Watching this film was like watching Disney movies 20 years in the past. It is that darn good and bring back the familiarity of old Disney classics: From witty and whimsical characters to the Oh-So Disney cliche of the random moments of fulfilling musicals. There was a moment near the end where a fitting flow of applause sounded like it was coming from the speakers, but was actually the crowd behind me (I was 3 rows from the front) I haven't heard that kind of satisfaction from a crowd watching a Disney movie since 'Dinosaur' and haven't heard such constant reactions to scenes since watching 'LOTR: The Two Towers' in the Uptown Theatre in Washington, D.C.

IMPRESS ME!
Being that it is the holiday season and I was in thought of having one of the many ideas of a contest be dealing with such, I felt that this would be a great opportunity to throw one that I have been in thought of making one of the most robust of contest. For this one in particular, you don’t have to be an artist to participate. However, you do have to have some form of talent that would be effective to the contest in any fashion. Drawing, sculpting, writing, even Fursuiting are among possibilities for entries as long as it works with the Theme. Since I know that there are people here on FA that do not celebrate Christmas and probably support a different religious Holiday, this makes the contest far more flexible.

THEME IMAGE CHALLENGE
As many people that have been commissioned by me this year knows, I’ve been dominantly keeping all commissions I have obtained throughout this year related to the 100 Theme Image Challenge on THIS journal. This contest is based on Decency and Speed. The person that gets the Theme done first wins. However, a strong lack of decency on the image will keep the participant from winning. Each participant will choose 1 vacant Theme from the list to do. Choosing to switch to a different Theme will be allowed only until Mid-Month (This will vary if there are 5 participants).
Rules: 1. Choose only 1 of the vacant Themes and finish it as fast as possible.
2. Must be Line art or Color, Renderings accepted.

Seems that I have been selected by Television Preview to participate in a survey that will Directly Influence the viewing preferences of the Entire Nation.



Future contest

My original planning for how I wanted to do my contests had suffered misfortune due to undesired circumstances, thus preventing the execution of another. However, I have come up with a way to work around that interlocker and will be having the next contest begin in January. I will give the description for this upcoming contest December 1st.

I have additional information that has been added below that might benefit those that want to participate, even those that don't have the ability to draw or color.

Prizes

As those that did participate in my contest this year, I was offering optional Cash and Item prizes for all that participated (Only 2). The contest will only commence once 3 participants have been confirmed, but will take a maximum of 5 participants and have prizes open to them as well.

I am this time going to have Gift Cards as an additional to the roster since the store I work at has a legion of them and I don't have to pay any taxes for any of them. Whence December comes, I'll have a listing of all of them on the first of December. The money option maybe moved to being Gift Cards since they would be easy to obtain than passing through PayPal and will be VISA. I also understand that some may not be able to give out their address, so I have already solved that limiter so it can still get to the participants.

Seems the time is now for everyone that intends to Send/Receive a Christmas Card to/from me this year should post your listing of anything and everything that you can think of that you would be willing to obtain as an attached gift that could fit in a Christmas Card envelop that is between $20-$25. CHRISTMAS CARD PREPARATION WITH THE RANDOM POSSIBILITY OF A GIFT ATTACHED

Last year ways the first time I ever sent out a legion of cards to others openly and got some nice ones back, even some with some nice momentos left in them. As many that actually have learned about me, I can't draw at all. However, I can probably do something just as nice.

I want ONLY everyone that is watching me that has the intention of sending/receiving a card from/to me this year to post a listing of anything and everything that you can think of that you would be willing to obtain as an attached gift that could fit in a Christmas Card envelop that is between $20-$25. Once Christmas Cards are on sale at my job, I'll do a Roulette Wheel to determine whom shall get the gift. Well, technically not until 11:48am. I enjoyed myself at MFM since I consider it My B.Day/gift away from home (with limitation), so the fact the actual day has me working and usually ends in boredom Isn't a concern. Besides, I'll just pull out Dissidia and play the crap out of it and probably the new Raiden IV.
