Coloring FAIL
General | Posted 15 years agoGah, have a few things sketched out... Some icons, a few pictures, etc. Yet my coloring is way off. So sorry for a lack of posting lately, I'm going to force myself to finish these icons up tomorrow as hopefully this color block will be gone. Though I'll post some of the nicer doodles from today to at least show some productivity. Sorry again X3
FC and Badge Schtuff and Badge Comissions -CLOSED
General | Posted 15 years agoI've gotten my commissions sketched out and ready to finish, and also been working on some badges for FC. So, I'm going to ask, for those going to FC, I'll open five badge slots. I'll wait about a week to get names, and from those will randomly pick five people to do badges for FC. These will be absolutely FREE for the five I pick. I'm not going to do favorites or anything, as oddly I have the freaky ability to actually randomize. (don't ask, long story, but yes I have 100% impartiality and randomization due to how my brain works). So for those who will attend FC, feel free to put your name in!
Badges will be done of whatever character you wish if you win, and at again, no charge, and will be in my style on index card stock with traditional media. These will be ready in December for mailing or given at FC if you prefer. ^.^
Okay, small change, for those not going to FC, I'll toss in two which will be ready by the end of the year as additionals. So if you are not going, please note so so I can include you for additional drawing.

General | Posted 15 years agoEveryone likes to see wolves being bouncy, and with the start up for this season of the NBA, this month is officially Wolf Basketball Month! Take your nearest wolf, rolls them into a furry ball, and go see how well you can make them bounce! (some wolves may not bounce well until dropped from great heights). So grab some wolves and get to having fun! All of that squeaking on the court isn't the shoes ya know!

General | Posted 15 years agoRemember to celebrate Foxtober with lots of sugar and decorating your doorstep with something orange! In the spirit of foxes fun movies will be on tv, and people will come to share your sugar caches! YAY FOXES!
Also who else has been celebrating the other holiday by using wolves as pucks? I know it has to be more than
palmerhusky so fess up or get to wolf bappin'! It's for their own good and what wolves are meant for! XD

General | Posted 15 years agoIs it just me, or in the past year there have been a lot of predominantly clean, very cartoony favoring furry artists popping up on FA?!? Oh, I'm not complaining as they're all really good, though it is like a big shock to me as I can find more than the occasional doodle I like on this site now. Anybody else noticing this, or is it just somehow me and I've been totally blind to them all this time?

Art Owed!
General | Posted 15 years agoOkay I have memory problems and am finally trying to get organized! So here goes!
I know I probably owe a few people sketches or icons or something, but I can't remember who all I do. I know, it's bad of me and I've really been neglectful (also part of why until I get all these done I'm not even going to consider comissions, erf..) .
So, who out there have I been a stupidly forgetful fox with and owe art?! If I have said I'd do something for you let me know so I can get it done before you get peeved with me (and most rightfully so as I'm sure sime of these are more than explicably late). Thanks again for being patient with me, and let me know! :3

Some species I need to know more of!
General | Posted 15 years agoOkay I like knowing a diverse crowd as it makes doodling fun, and me feel slightly more furry. So people, point me to some decent and fun:
Deer
Wolverines
Horses that aren't buff or are cartoony
Bulls
Longhorns
Armadillos
Goats
so name a few, it's getting like a canid/feline fest around here!

Weird Question!
General | Posted 15 years agoOkay, this is just a curiosity thing, so don't read into this any deeper than just out of whimsy! Seriously, just a silly curiosity thing!!!!
If for some reason I were ever to drop one of my characters, which one would you honestly say to nix? Note, I want honest feedback, and no, I'm not saying I'm going to drop one! I'm just 100% curious, okie? :P
Characters with pics are:
Vermy - Fox - See icon :P
Chase - Coyote - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4475168/
Speedbump - Armadillo - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4337301/
Cash - Wolverine - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/78302/
So be 100% honest here, and no, I won't hold it against anyone what they say, just want honest feedback to fulfill sheer curiosity on my part. XD

Don't Forget
General | Posted 15 years agoWolves really are hockey pucks. If you don't believe me, try smacking a few around with sticks. You'll see, it's true! Or if they don't work too well, mallet them a few times and try again. XD

Who Is A Good Wolf To Hassle?
General | Posted 15 years agoAny ideas for this week? I feel frisky, er devilish. Muwaahahaa!
Foxtober is also Wolf Hockey Month!
General | Posted 15 years agoAs tradition states, October is the foxiest month out there and known as Foxtober. People place orange things outside their homes, candy is given out for free, foxes get their winter coats, and more foxyness abounds! Hell, even the trees have their leaves turn foxy shades to in reverence to that which is FOX! So find some voops and shower them with love and praise this month. ^.^
Also despite this being a foxy month, this is also one of the bestest months to play with wolves! This month we combine the joy of hockey season with the love of picking on wolves by using wolves for hockey! So get out your favorite stick and use the nearest wolf as your own personal puck! If they get disagreeable or just aren't being aerodynamic enough, a few malletings will fix it up. So go out there and see how many points you can earn this month with all those free pucks for the bappin'!

LESSONS OF HOW TO BE A FOX
General | Posted 15 years agoPeople have long asked, "How do you be so foxy?!". So here I am to tell you some of what it takes to be a fox! Not one of those dogs pretending to be foxes, but a 100% VOOPY FAWKS. I will not divulge the super secrets only known to the Foxes, but will tell you some of the important things about being the greatest of species.
First of all, foxes are not about humping. If you're in it for sex... stop immediately calling yourself a fox! Foxes are teases if anything, and if there was anything pervy to be had, it's just a side effect of all that foxyness. It's like buying a Corvette. It comes with a tailpipe, but you don't buy it for that! However I'm sure there are tailpipe enthusiasts, but don't forget, it's still all about that which is being a FOX.
Secondly, real foxes are never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever actually submissive. Want to be a power bottom in life? Go be a wolf. To be a fox means to be strong-willed and independent. You can let someone think they're in charge, but you only do so so they can do all the heavy work while you enjoy the sweeter part of life as they lummox around. Every fox worth his salt will put on a big show, but at the end of the day, you should know who the real boss is, YOU.
Thirdly is one of the biggest requirements to be a fox. You must be smarter than the average person. I don't mean the "I'm an internet nerd and hate everyone because they're so dumb!". You must be smart enough to make snappy comebacks, lead conversations, steer non-foxy activities to ones that notice how pretty you are, etc. If you can't "outfox" a non-fox, then well, you must not be a fox.
Foxes are the softest, bushiest animals in the universe. Roll around to show people your fur. Demanding a petting is like the free samples at the mall food court, only higher quality. People need to know just how fluffy you are so they can enjoy it too!
Next up, as a fox you should know there are things of high importance to you that seethe vulpiney respendence. Foxes will seek out and enjoy all of these things as they help recharge our foxyness. Here is a brief list:
*Your fur.
*Your tail.
*Your cute face.
*Your cute everything else.
*CHAWKIT (chocolate to those who don't speak Fox)
*Pettings, cuddles, scritches, and the like.
*Pixy Stix
*Pillows
*BUFFWHYZ! (butterflies to those who don't speak Fox)
*Other people's warmth.
People should notice foxes! Voops love colors and will often surround themselves in beautiful things that are as lively as we are. Stand out. Be adorable. Relax as everyone basks in your glory and wants to pet you. It's wonderful.
I will tell you is that as a fox, you are required to have and enjoy having enemies! Everybody wants to be you, but nobody could be you. Foxes are in a great spot to have numerous foes to keep our creativity and energy flowing. Your primary nemeses are rabbits, squirrels, chickens, hound dogs, guard/watch dogs, toasters, and WOLVES. Every one of these you are likely to run into now and then, and you have full right to hassle them as you see fit. Do everything you can to make their lives harder and oddly everything around you will become easier as that's what we call Natural Order. However be careful of dogs and wolves as they're big enough to smash you, and the other species able to trick you back if you aren't attentive. Also picking on any other species is viable and often a fun challenge, though you're not obligated to and many such as dragons are prone to roll over and use you as a throw rug for attempting the feat.
Lastly, beware of coyotes, weasels (ferrets included), guard/watch dogs, and sometimes cats. Due to Natural Order, they are given the ability to pick on you back and do not get any cosmic repercussion for doing so. This means you're free to tie dynamite to them, but also if you're being cute and they come along to mallet you into an accordion, you're just going to have to suck it up. >.<
Well those are just a few lessons on how to be a better, fluffier, softer, more vulpiney fox! Now to the non-foxes reading this, PET ME.

Who here likes bowling?
General | Posted 15 years agoJust an odd question here as to who likes it? No reason in particular. Just curious.
Everybody else is doing it! Rate my character meeeeeeem
General | Posted 15 years agoOkay, I'll cave in and do meme time (though be honest, I won't get my feelings hurt, and already have strong opinions of why I'm my foxy self and not going to likely change due to answers here, so it's all in fun!)
1. What do you think my character would have a job/career in?
2. What is unique about my character that you enjoy?
3. What are His flaws?
4. What are some changes you would like to see?
5. What would you like to see my character doing in future pictures?
6. How old does my character look?
7. On a scale of 1-10, how attractive is my character?
8. On a scale to 1-10, how sexually attractive is my character?
9. On a scale to 1-10, how well does my character fit me?
10. If you could, how would you personally change him to fit me better?

Where shall the fox visit?
General | Posted 15 years agoSometime next year when I have a little saved up, I'm planning to visit one (though will try for more if I can) of three places. My choices are:
*Boston
*the Bay Area
*Columbus
Which shall I go to if I can only make one?

Awkward Moments
General | Posted 15 years agoHad something earlier today that was really awkward. My family knows I am a furry, furry name even, and don't really have issue with it. Though today something I wasn't expecting happened when one of my family added me on twitter. I feel like crap for having to do it, but I had to block my own family as well.... some people I know (and occasionally myself) post some things that would be rather awkward or embarassing. That and moreso, a few people post a couple things I really don't want to expose my family to. It sucks as well, seeing as I've never felt like family has tried to be too close compared to some of yours where you have big get-togethers at parks with pictures and chat daily. So by doing so, I'm sure I just either confused or pissed off family who were reaching out. Sadly though, I had to and now feel like shit.

It's September and You Know What That Means!
General | Posted 15 years agoWhy yes! Another month dedicated to our fiends, er friends the wolves. Seeing as they love music so much, September is a great month for them as we take out mallets, anvils, or other heavy things, and whomp them into lovely furry accordions. The forest will light up with delightful music all month long, with the seranades of wolves.
Mallet German Shepherds Weekend!
General | Posted 15 years agoI've decided to give the wolves a semi-break here as I'm more than full on pinata candy, and so let's hassle one of the next best things, GSDs!
So this weekend, if you see one of the big pointy eared, semi-bitey, cute fluffy dogs, give them a hefty whack on top with your heaviest mallet!
Doing such will grant you a small bit of luck and wishes of rain to beat the summer heat! If for some reason you don't get the reprieve from the sun, at least you have a neat frisbee to take for a weekend beach party! Woot!
(And wolves, you'd better participate or else next time I might not agree to a break for you guys hehe)

Speesheez Question!
General | Posted 15 years agoOkay so I'm wanting to doodle something red and black and was thinking skunk. Would there be any other species people would think look great in this color combination?
August is Wolf Pinata Month!
General | Posted 15 years agoHey everyone! Since I'm a fox again it's time for another month dedicated
to our smelly 'friends' the wolf! So this month, feed them all sorts of candy or pickles or whatever filling you prefer, then hoist them up for all to bask in their glory as we beat the stuffing out of them with sticks or maces or bats and such! By doing so wolves show how they give to all the rest of furry!

*Ahem* Restating views on this weekend.
General | Posted 15 years agoSeeing my current situation.... Um... you know how I said next week should be Fat Foxes Week, and um.... erf.... that we should spend the whole week hassling bunnies. How about maybe we be really nice to bunnies? Like extra super nice, especially to the orange and white ones?! Eh.... heh?!
*rabbit bounds off as fast as possible!* D:
