Regarding FOOD:
-I do not like cheese, and have never eaten a plain piece of cheese since I was 6. (My last piece of cheese was forced on me because I lost a scavenger hunt that my babysitter made for me and my sister. She punished me by depriving me of lunch and instead feeding me only a block of cheese.)
-I cannot stand to touch lettuce, and it makes me cringe even as I write this. Dilemma: Lettuce is the only thing I eat on a hamburger. :S
-I am very picky, rarely trying new things or overcoming fears of certain types, yet have worked in a kitchen for 3 years of my life, collectively.
-I can only eat curry if the colour is aesthetically pleasing. Green curry = no-no.

Regarding PEOPLE:
-I do not like eye contact, and am very uncomfortable with it. However, you can tell if I like you, or even like-you-like-you, if I give you lots of eye contact.
-Do not believe me if I tell you I have a glass eye. (It has worked on several people, over the years)

Regarding MY ROOM:
-I have had an intense fear of the movie Poltergeist ever since I was 9. I am still uncomfortable sleeping in my room if the closet is even an inch ajar. I have never fallen asleep with my closet open, in over a decade. >.<
-I have a TV in my room, but it doesn't work, and I don't have the heart to throw it out. It has one of those cute knob-dial-turny-ony-thing and it is nostalgically adorable.

Regarding MY PAST:
-I sang "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" at my Grade 9 Graduation, and it was awkward. I do not know where I got the crazy idea that singing at my grad would be a good idea..
-I was incredibly crafty in swindling kids in Elementary school out of their good Digimon cards. Received Piedmon + Puppetmom + Marineangemon (all holo's) for one common holo that you receive in most booster packs. /SWINDLA EXTRAORDINARE (aka, nerd)

Calgary Comic Expo was my first non-anime convention, and I believe I am currently suffering from what many furs refer to as PCD. It was an amazing convention, and I met a ton of furs, new friends, and old friends from University. Although I didn't dish out the time nor money to see Nimoy, it was still pretty sick to be in the same building as the original Spock.
For those of you that I finally got a chance to meet, it was a pleasure, and I hope to see more of you in the near future.

Yesterday was balls. Balls metaphorically referring to something horrid. St. Patricks day can suck my dick. Especially when it makes Earls twice as busy as it should have been, meaning I am working double time, mostly by myself on my station, followed by running out 6 of my menu items, which I had to re-prep myself. Combined with the fact that I was working with a majority of the people I despise at my location, it was an all-around horrid night.


However, on a happy note, my shoes that have been missing for over a month reappeared yesterday. I had been waiting for these shoes to come to Canada for a year, bought them, and then not even a week later (after my sister's giant house party) they went missing. Found out my sister's friend wore them because she didn't have shoes, and just forgot that she still had them.

I 'should' be sleeping, in preparation for my big day; that is, my interview into the journalism program at Mount Royal, but instead I will write my very first journal entry. I am still very nervous for the interview, as it will truly base whether or not I continue in this field, but I just need to focus, calm myself, and wear something great (note to self: iron shirt).

This week has been hectic; revision of nearly 12 assignments, all to be handed in for March 29th, one essay to be complete on scale within John Donne's Valediction poems, a group assignment (fml) of communication genius, Harold Innis (who I thankfully have studied before, making this project much easier for myself), and finally, an essay in French about my perfect house. Phew.

My room is a mess. I tried to figure out which articles of clothing I don't want in my possession, and threw a majority of them on the floor, in hopes that it would help me organize. It only added to clutter. Seeing as I have no time to do anything (specifically play Final Fantasy XIII, which is amazing by the way), I probably should have tried to keep my room in order.

Speaking of Final Fantasy XIII, I have been waiting nearly three years with immense anticipation. It has failed to disappoint me thus far, though I have only played a meager 15 hours since its release last Tuesday. I am spellbound by the game, the characters, the landscapes, the graphics, the music, and the development that I've seen in only one disc (of three).

It is late. Time for me to set 10 alarm clocks, in hopes that one will wake me up in the morning, ensuring my arrival at a group meeting in the morning. I bid all of you on FA a goodnight, and I hope to post more music and journals and reviews and maybe even spice it up with some of my own artwork. Night.
