Just added MFF to my list of cons attending because it's looking like I'll actually be going this year??? Just gonna buy my plane tickets and reg with my next paycheck and it'll be official. Already have a room tho so that's p cool. A few months ago I would've said it'd be impossible to go this year but thanks to the magic of Twitter it's looking p good that I'll be there! I just tweeted my interest in maybe going but that I didn't have a room and I've never flown before so that kinda thing makes me super nervous, and within minutes i was given room space and a flight buddy, now I just need to save up to afford everything!! That shouldn't be too difficult if I work OT every weekend and work lunches. Plus if I take care of reg and tickets sooner it'll be cheaper.

Also Saturday, the 19th, I attended my first furmeet with some local Maine furs at the Sparetime bowling alley in Hallowell! That was incredible for me because I'd never actually met another furry irl and it was so liberating to just be myself around them. Yea I still was super nervous for a lot of it (and admittedly I almost had a really bad anxiety attack :s ) but I pulled thru and had a great time. Definitely a new feeling when people are calling you burd irl haha! I can't wait for the next meet in Nov and I'm /really/ excited to start going to cons, FP in about a month and I'm just so pumped!! This meet did help with anxiety a bit and I think I'm really going to enjoy going to cons more now, I still need to work on conversation initiative tho. I didn't actually hug anyone at the meet because I was just too nervous to ask ._. I LIKE HUGS IM JUST AFRAID OF PEOPLE OK

with the introduction of folders to FA I can now have all of my art on one page instead of many pages for different characters and also a way to separate commissioned art and art I've drawn like wow

That means there will probably be a mass upload of my art eventually on here so I can get it all into folders! Exciting.

so I guess I moved last night. Spent my first night here on an air mattress on the living room floor. I still need to go back to my parents place (whoa that's weird) and get all my things but yea I'm here now.

The place needs a /lot/ of work because the last owners were shit and decided their house needed to resemble themselves. We need to replace the floors, the stairs to the basement, multiple doors, remove some walls in the basement, and just overall work to the place. It'll be a lot of work but worth it in the end and I'm just excited to be out on my own.

Upsides tho? I'm not living in the middle of the woods anymore. I live within walking distance of many stores and I'm like 20-25 mins closer to work. All of the construction that'll be done is being done /for free/???? My roommate's parent's friend wants to fix this place up because he remembers when this place was nice and wants it back to how it used to be.

I'm really happy right now, even tho my home isn't complete. Just being away from where I was before is great and knowing that this place will be nice eventually is amazing.

I have tons of commissions I gotta upload here because I've been too lazy to do it before. I changed my artist type to Art Whore for the time being cuz I think it's only appropriate lol. I've bought so much art recently and it not even organized yet.

Art progress: Shit. I did a couple doodles the other day but I'm making like zero progress on anything cuz I have had no motivation what so ever. I'm not gonna give up tho, I really want to make some progress.
