Posted 10 years agoThe mother of RedImpLight has dropped the ball saying that she's planning on selling this house soon, as she doesn't have a whole lot of money to keep us going while living in Washington.
The mother moved into Washington for a family emergency, where in the end, the life was sadly taken. She decided to look after the home along with her husband and son, but had to give up on her job so that she could do so. However, even though she's been looking for work, she hasn't gotten anything yet, and thus losing money while we're staying here. The amount of money that RedImp gets from commissions and patreon is enough to pay for electricity, water, and food. But she hasn't been able to send even a dollar to her mother for 'rent', so we definitely owe her a huge amount of money at this point.
It doesn't help that now the car is starting to have more problems and we don't exactly have any spare cash to take it in anywhere, a bare minumum of $100 would be good to have on hand. But unless we go starving for two weeks, that isn't going to happen sadly.
So from now until June 15th, we'll be expected to move out of this place and somewhere else. We're not sure where we'll end up at this time...
If anyone is wondering what they could do to help, becoming a patreon to RedImpLight's page for extra cash per month would help in the long run and try to save money before June hits. Commissions onto her commission account would also really help too.

Posted 11 years agoGetting a phone call from someone threatening for the keys to a place in which you were entrusted to keep safe, all while they insult your girlfriend's brother's voice sounding extremely gay and calling you a punk.
Long story short, the mother went off to do family stuff, we are supervising the other house that they live in from anything that might go wrong. Last time this happened, REALLY BAD STUFF happened when they came back. But they knew it wouldn't be something that we did, so we didn't get in any sort of trouble.
This person that we've been contacting for awhile was family related to the mother's husband, coming over to do her laundry as her washing machine was broken. Not a problem whatsoever, that's easy to do. I can get off my lazy ass to do so and feed the fishes in 39 degree weather/
Few days later, aka this morning. The person calls to get the key for themselves, coming at noon to pick it up. I was drowsy as it was early so I just said 'okay'. IT was odd after it registered in my head with what she meant, so the thought of someone coming for the keys for themselves so they weren't going to be supervised was fishy. But I waited till they called again so I can ask what it was they were doing.
Shit blew up. The person started to go off because they find it difficult to try to contact us to get the place open so that they can do their business. That, I would understand if they called the HOUSE OWNERS AND ASK IF THEY COULD GET A SPARE KEY DONE AT THE AUTOSHOP. Buuuuut no, they blew up with cussing like a 13 year old who just figured out what a cuss word is by watching southpark. They called US strangers because the husband was their father and they shouldn't have to have someone else to hold the key. Called us punks. I was so...Confused by this sudden outburst that all I could barely respond with was grunts and 'uh...okay...?' And then they even attacked out I spoke.
Oh no, not me. My girlfriend's brother. They called his voice being gay. A 10 year old. You're calling a child that's STILL in elementary school, voice being gay, and saying that he got it from me.
That's when I lost it, where all I said, no, yelled saying 'Wow, YOU'RE DONE." And hung up. I don't care if someone calls my voice gay, I'm pretty damn sure it sounds like it. But you don't call someone else that, not someone who we are 1) Taking care of while the mother's gone and 2) Is MY FUCKING BUDDY. GAMING BUDDY. FUCK. YOU.
Then...Hahaha, later on, we get a call with the label on the caller ID ' US GOVRNT' or something like that. So basically US Government. That's something we don't get at all.
Turns out it was the same person leaving a message. "I know you're there....You better surrender that key...You're going to get a call from my dad and you'll be in trouble." To which I picked up the phone for one moment saying 'No, it should be YOU who should surrender." And instantly hung up.
To put the last part short, we called the mother, the husband talked to her, he talked to us saying that we should give them the key. So that's that.
We're going to make a replacement so that we can give them that, to keep one so that we can still feed the fishes and whatnot. So.

So I'm a painter at a few apartments, jumping from room to room when we complete one, going from 8:00 AM all the way to 4:30PM. With a 30 minute lunch. An 8 hours a day job for 5 days, so that is definitely good to hear. I'll be sure to rank in the money for these two months so long as the job keeps us busy here. Sucks that it's a summers only job but it's better than not having one.
Waking up at 6 AM and sleeping at around 10 PM sucks but at least the weekend is still open for fun. Might livestream Dead Space on Sunday

Posted 11 years agoI'm already $250 in dept with credit so I can get car insurance for a job I don't even technically have right now, and rent is coming up and we have, maybe, $300-$400 to barely spare.
Soon as it comes out, we'll be riding over $1000 counting on the 1St of next month, to pay for the $800 rent, and the $250 for credit which is piling up more so every other week.
Love this economy. And the stress of everything piling up

You know that you need a sort of job in any way possible to make that sort of money, be it for a company or to do a few jobs for a friend in need?
Yeah Craigslist is terrible for that sort of thing. Fraud check that came from 1st class mail with over $2K to help some poor sap to move in from Pennsylvania to California.
