Posted 9 years agoJust a misc. update as Its been awhile since I've said much. Still around and all. Just been busy with work, and by time I'm off work I get busy with projects & keeping in touch with people. Mostly active on twitter, Hardly much on FA or FB. Been prety slow/slacking on keeping up-to-date with FA, as far as sharing photos go or commenting on stuff. Lotta stuff / pictures I've been taking lately are not furry/fursuit related soooooo...yeah.
Mostly fursuit at cons now as well, No real reasons behind that one, other than the fact that locally, I prefer to social & whenever i suit, i feel it doesn't happen as often and I end up leaving meets without saying hi to most people, because I was suiting. Go to perform/act out VS go to social, learn what people are up to, etc. Similar for out-side meets, I'd prefer to photography & enjoy the event itself VS actually suit. Meanwhile conventions, I prefer to suit many many hours, as much as possible. Usually hit up a good deal of cons in a year, so I feel I still get pretty good use out of my suit. Just keeping pretty busy, Enough that I've yet to really go about going through my AC photos..
But yeah. Just thought I'd say something.

MCFC Recap
Posted 9 years agoCon tis over. Ran MCFC Thursday -- Monday. Decided to run this con a little differently than my usual, and primary focused on trying to see people I don't often see. I also decided to go with my own room this year, to give me a bit more freedom with my night-habbits, and freely use the room for whatever, whenever. Was pretty much running around every with others, night until 5-6AM, which fits along side my usual 2nd-shift schedule. Took photos mostly during the daytime, and suited during the evening/night hours. MCFC was a great con for me. It offered non-stop activity the entire duration of the con, every hour, without being too gogogo like AC and MFF tend to be, for me. I think the con went over very nicely, not really a single thing id change about how it went for me, other than the obvious -- wishing it lasted longer. Offered plenty of entertainment, experiences, and so forth.

Floofing. and planning to hang/see those whom I only get to see a few times a year, along with meeting new ones, as per usual con-going guide-lines for myself. Will be doing a mix of fursuiting and photography, trying to balance both out, hence my longer attendance this year.

Posted 10 years agoWell. Since it seems i dont post much Journels...This is a mind dumb..to get thoughts off my head. Im not here for attension. Im not here for help..
Theres a floofball out there, who I've ran into a couple cons ago. That I never knew existed, until i saw him there. One whom I've since then, had a pretty high crush and likings for. As many know, im Demisexual and frankly, such things are fairly unheard of. Since guys and girls..just arent attractive to me. I bond with personality...which leads to me finding them, and only them, attractive. ( which does imply cheating etc never happens as everyone else is whatever to me ). Although i dont know this floof all too much, outside of the few times ive hanged with him via meets and such. I for some reason, at a core level, crush..heavily, on him. The unknown reasons, is what makes me very curious to learn why this is. I had my period of fun. Plenty of chats. Plenty of learning. Plenty of braggin how stupidly awesome he is to a few close friends. All wilded up and excited. I was poking him, fairly often. Perhaps...too often, because i was just blindfully excited over discovering he exists..and couldnt put words in my thoughts...to describe this. I got afraid for a bit, that i perhaps come across...creepy? For how much i was trying to stay in contact. I mean..for gods sake, Its not like we know each other THAT well. So. I made a stupid as fuck choice to 'temporary go offline via blocking contact' across FA..Facebook.. because, i needed to calm myself. As i was getting carried away, with my thoughts. Afraid...i was going to be too much of an annoyance. I figured at the time, this was a good decision. Calm down for a week. Reset myself. Return with a refreshed calm approach. Well. That was the problem, really. It was a dumb decision. Especially because i didnt think about giving him a heads up of 'i need to take a little break..its nothing personal, just need to calm myself'. Well. Come the next con, i was confronted...out of no where, and questioned why i blocked him for a short period. Which, at this time, was already undone. I couldnt find it in me, to give a proper answer. It was asked out of no where, which caught me off guard. It was infront of my friends, whom i didn't want to have to explain the whole story to. And...considering i have a mass crush on him, well.. his adorable cuteness infront of me.. on top of all the other reasons, i legitally froze up in my mind..and yeh. AC being a huge con, made it very difficult to refind him, and explain that...plus, after such, i pretty much felt like horrible shit in my mind the rest of the con. Because he had the curiosity and the efforts to find me, and ask why. And i let him down by not delivering an answer. Pretty much the day after the con i noticed drastic changes. Rarely talked to me, things were..very dead. Leaving me with the thoughts of "i fucked up" and "i likely lost a great friend" ... much the same, is true today. Its far from what it use to be. Theres still contact, just extreamly sparse. I feel as though im being ignored with a priority of -500, or hes holding back. Sparse..short...rare replies. I still have thay "fucked up" feeling. Only bright side to the story, is the fact i still have contact...and havent been deleted. Some signs of hope, that perhaps...theres some thoughts rolling in his mind, and things just need to be cleared up and restored. Stuff i endlessly try to do, without really..seeing much care.. from my perspective. Yeah, its one of those things you may day 'just move on and let it go' but.. frankly i couldnt really ever say that.. i put a lot of effort/time into things, to be what i once considered a vastly growing friendship. Though, to see it flip 180, put me into months of a off mood. I sometimes question why i care so much, and let it bother me so much. But then i remember...i have a crush on him, and love...does weird things to your mind. Im just out of thought. Looking to restore friendship...trust...etc. Still feel pretty bad about the past. Just glad MFF is coming up..i need time away from home..and to refresh..and hopefully motivate me more, and give me some good happyness for a chance... thats..kinda where i am...again..not looking for attension, or help. Anthrocon Review
Posted 10 years agoAnthrocon went over pretty well. Like most cons, Pretty much got there...got settled in..and had the feeling of 'yaaay im here..now what am i going to do for the next 4-5 days???' but as usual. Once things get rolling. Too many options/choices the entire con..busy busy busy!
I feel I did pretty well this con. Nice balance of suiting and socializing. I at least pulled a 3-4+ hours of suiting every evening of the con. Had a great time seeing friends, meeting new people, new suiters, and had a couple cases where I got to be an assisting aid for a few friends.

Kept the budget of this con, in total ( food, room, drive, everything ) around $400, which isnt bad.
Been running my cons a little bit differently, learning from each con as I go. I work 2nd shift, so I'm use to staying up really late, and waking late. So, Often I was getting to sleep by 4am, and waking by 12PM. Full hours of sleep...multiple showers ( Being a suiter, i shower before/after every suiting session ) its nice not having money as a concern..since instead of watching my spendings, I can just enjoy the con, and do everything properly. Lots of running around, but felt great in the end eating up full-course meals at tonics...ten penny..and all the other places around there, instead of mc donalds and other cheap places. Maybe its because I'm more active with work these days, but I feel I didnt get as sore as I usually do by the end of the con, Wasnt dead out of energy, everything felt "right" Even suiting 4+ hours straight, Besides being warm in suit, everything felt right. Been better about stepping out for water/cooling, even if i feel 100% fine. So physically, this was a good con for me. Mentally as well. Couple things bugged me while I was at the con, but I put matters lightly aside and let myself have a riot. AC being so massive, its easy to see the people you want to see ( with plans ) and not see the people, you dont want to see. Though, the people you WANT to find. never..seem..findable!!
Now. Some people dislike AC, because they think..the con is very large..and like smaller cons. Personally, I like AC, as my favorite, because its a larger con. I enjoy being able to have the option of waking up and "I have no idea what im going to do" just walk to the con center / lobby, and you'll always. find someone / something. Tooooons of panels to pick from...toooooons of people to hang out with..meet...chill with..too many options..its impossible to be BORED at AC, unless your shy and find it hard to interact with others. every other con, but AC, i hit periods ( short or long ) where I'm like OKAY! ... now what do i do...stand here? Bored! AC im like OMG the cons almost over and i still have like ... 100 things i wanna do, plans with people i was hoping to do...Nooooooooo!!!!
Far as the "Its impossible to plan things with friends, takes hours sometimes to get a group together" theory. Well, not in my case. I've managed a 8 person group meet-up within a few minutes with a 'meet at room ________' and left. when I wanted to find people.. via text/telegram...found them fast.
My views on the elevator system: I think it was okay. Its probably the best you can get. You get really have a "Enter how many people" option, because you dont know if they're 100 pounds...300 pounds..handy-cap wheelchair...luggage..etc. It eliminated the issue of people smashing every-button so the elevators stop on every floor. I personally liked it a lot. The longest i had to wait for the elevator was maybe..5...8 minutes? and when i wanted to go down, about the same. 5-8 minutes...always empty or maybe a couple people. None of the 'fuck this im going up to go down' because the elevator would hit w/e floors on the way up, to bring people up. then go down, to bring people down. Also eliminated people holding the button combo to 'skip all floors' that a lot of people got their hands on. So personally, I loved the elevator system. I've had far worst experience at smaller cons, and AC over-flow hotels, than the westin.

So ya. Working 2nd shift and all, didnt realy catch the 'news' until I was home and noticed that gay marriage is allowed across USA. I had to laugh at all the BS on the news of religious people saying stuff like GOD IS GOING TO KILL US ALL! MOVE OUT OF USA NOW!! etc etc.. threatening to burn themselves and bla bla bla.. Just makes me laugh! Making your own religion looking bad if you ask me.. nothing personal. But yeah. Glad it finally came to be. I'm demisexual as most know by now. Very heavily personality based..Guy or girl. Its extreamly rare that I even gain/show interests towards anyone, in a relationship way, just friendship. I'm all too picky for what I look in, for a partner. Which is perfectly fine with me. Loving the single life. I think in all my life I only had 2 people I ever expressed interests with, or i should say, wanted relationship interests with. Crazy. But, its 'very' nice to know rather its a girl/guy someday down the road, Marriage is possible win both sides of the story. Very happy to hear that, and hope things stay that way!

So ya..lots going on! But soon followed by taking a little break due to AC coming up, and not being home ( of course ) during that time! squeeee cant wait for that :3 so many plans and friends to see *asplodes*

Single - gave up long ago. Very rare/unheard of, for me to gain/show interest in people. Demisexual afterall. I get rare occasions, but they often fail. Dont try! The buy-me-stuff/food/drinks-alcohol game doesn't phase me, it annoys me and makes me venture away. Bluntly put, if i like ya. I'll tell you! I dont hide my thoughts.

First, for those wondering, I will be at AC. Thursday to Monday. Vacation time was approved awhile back. Pre-Reg confirmed. Rooming confirmed. Got many plans for AC, greatly looking forward to it! Then comes figuring MFF...May be possibly dropping into IFC for a day or two, as well.
But yuh. Not everyone follows me on twitter/facebook/whatevs. Haven't posted much on FA since GLFC. Lifes been good though. Usual routine of work | furmeets | quadcopter flying | hanging with friends. Been pretty much laying back and enjoying life. Pretty well set. Enjoy where I work, It's a career job..so, I really dont see it as work. Its more a place to go to see work-friends, enjoy doing what I love, etc etc. Yet to ever wake up and go "Ehh its monday.. i dont want to be at work today" Long as things keep going well, pretty much plan to stay at the company the rest of my work-life. Pretty well set. So pretty much just been enjoying work, furries, and dorking around with new toys.
See how things keep going the rest of the year, and where i fall. Slowly making minor changes to life. Simplifying. Kinda like how i use to play 8+ hours of games on my computer daily..and well.. ive yet to touch steam in 3 years. Which im pretty happy about. Use to hate how much of my life I was wasting away on games. Meeting new people and learning their life-styles, also makes me review my own every now and then. Trying not to be as social-media heavy.. etc etc. More for the better, I think at least.

It seems I was requested to film the video, again, for 2015. Since last year I just shot the raw video up..and had gooooobs of comments come in of questions, thanks, and many many requests of doing next years as well. Last year's GLFC video, yields 28,900 views...so...I guess a lot of people ish to learn some basics! And they did cover a 'LOT' of basics, to help out those who are JUST getting into the fandom / fursuiting, and looking for some guidance...as well as info for those simply looking to improve. There's a lot of people out there, who I even know personally, who really dont suit as "healthy" as one should... Which..yeah...you do learn your tolerance over time. Some people's bodies act one way, where as someone else maybe fainted in a hospital if they act the same. Me for example..I've ran most my entire life off hardly consuming much water during the day. Being able to do 4 hour bike-rides without getting thirsty, etc etc. So when I do a con and shoot out a 8 hour fursuiting-period.. I know my body.. I know my limits.. I get out of suit, and I'm not thirsty..dehydrated..etc etc..since I'm so use to running my life that way, that things by now, cope. Vs..someone else, in this situation, may have major issues. Very important for one to take things easily..learn your limits..and dont push yourself just because your friends ( your suiting with ) can suit longer and you want to keep tagging around with them.

My GLFC experience / review
Posted 10 years agoSo, on a direct-talk about the actual con itself. Compared to what I've heard from others ( since i myself am not really the one to ask ) compared to 2014, the con was ran a lot smoother. More panels to attend, things to keep people busy, etc etc. I felt staff/security did their jobs well, I didnt notice any 'oh crap we forgot ________ in the schedule what do we do???' it was well organized and thought ahead. Personally, This con worked well due to the weather, working well. Since you had to use out-side access to get from building A to B, having clear weather, made that nicer for the suiters. Cooler nights, made for good outdoor socials for suiters. Overall, I look forward to seeing how the con carries out. In both attendance, and locations.
That was just from the things I gathered with others. But. As for my experience.
My goal of this con was to spend more time socializing, making friends, and getting to know people more. Whenever I fursuit, I'm all over, and I dont really get to know anyone, except fellow fursuiters, for the most part. I just decided, since it was a small con, I would, for the first time, focus on NOT suiting, and talk. Had a good number of people asking me to get in suit...why im not suiting....etc etc etc. As much as I wanted to, and as much as I love to, I felt the need to have a con to actually give my friends my full attension instead of HI!!!! *hugs* BIAAAAA!! Not to mention my sleep habbits have been piss-horrible lately and I was fairly not-full-of-that-energy this con. Many reasons behind that one but its w/e. I didnt want to really be fursuiting when my energy levels were negatives. But. all in all. Con was able to be made a lot better than I thought, by socializing with friends. I did spend like, 99% of the con in the parking lot, surprised I didnt get sun-burn TBH. Had lots of fun with group-outings.. etc etc. It's the main reason I go to small cons like this. Specially being local. Because anytime I go out of the room, Its nearly all people I know. Stupidly fast-and-easy to find people to hang with, etc etc. Vs a con like AC, you may walk around for 2 hours before running into someone you know really well. As much as I prefer cons like AC and MFF, over smaller cons. I still attend smaller cons, because I view them more as a large-furmeet, and they make best for creating friends. I love using small cons as a "Hey i hardly know you from MCFC and your here!" Lots of hanging, poof. Good friends.
I personally know a bit of people who down/avoid small cons. I can understand their reasoning, no doubt. But. They have their pros. It is a lot nicer to find people ASAP, and it def. gives you a full weekend to really hang-out with people you enjoy. The people that fully dislike small-cons, to me, its like wow..really...why do I even know you..nothing like me at all.. xD
But ya. I'm not a panel go'er. Personally, I dislike hitting up panels. Simply because I attend cons for 2 main reasons.
1) Fursuiting -- Run around having a blast, make people smile, entertain, etc etc
2) Socializing -- Keep showing friends I rarely see, outside of local-meets, that I care they exist!

Having fun, making people smile, making friends smile. etc etc. Thats why GLFC for example...Yeah. I spent my ENTIRE con, in the parking lot. I hit 1 panel, due to request of video recording & for my own benifits of learning. Other than that, No panels. Simply because I far prefer, to be outside, hanging with friends, that I only see once a month...to once a year. Friendship is FAR more important to me, than anything a con could offer. So, despite not actually really attending any rooms that needed a con-ID, since parking lot, I still did reg, because its support. Rather not free-lance. Rather give support.
But ya. Had funs. Left sunday. Came back later that night. More funs. Then home.

My sister will be in town visiting ( rarely ever see her ). I have no bad relations with my family. They're supper-supportive of my furry-additives in my life. Its a bit more important to me, to spend time with my sister being in town, than being at a local convention. Means chances are, i may attend sunday, i may not. I may leave early sunday. I may leave early saturday, and return sunday. No idea. Regaurdless, Time is going to be found, to spend time with my sister & her aussie doggie. Shes not a furry. It's not her thing. Cosplayer, sure. But I'm not gona make her come to a furry con, as a back-door-opportunity to stay at a con and see her. May have her drop in if she feels like it, but..still gona make time to head out and visit with her/family, among other things. For sure, I'll be at the con friday, and majority of saturday. My appologies is this is a issue for anyone looking to see me. But I tend to place family-members-i-dont-often-see as a little more important. Anthrocon and MFF are coming up. So. the world of quadcopters seems to be diving into 6S systems. Peaking >90MPH. Pretty insane.

So. Racing, and stupid-speeds, seems to be MASSIVELY spiking interests in the RC world. That all said, Obviously I'm keeping right-up to snuff with this stuff. Recently decided to buy the parts for my quadcopter to "future proof" it. Come next week..I'll have my parts...rebuild..again..from scratch. Allowing me to run 3S...4S...6S.thanks to micro-sized stepup/stepdown regulators. So. Come eventually, I will have some pretty insane-speed flying videos. 4S is my current goal. I dont plan to touch 6S for awhile. BUT!!! everything is there and ready for it. Just thought I'd share where the world is going on this. For those who don't know a thing about these, the % of people that care to use drones for photography / spying, is like 10% in comparison to the people using them for speed/pod-style racing, and flat-out insanity flying. Course, this will someday make people go "omg 90mph what if they crash into a house banbanban" well, RC jets going >150mph have been around for many years. Speedy RC, is far old. Your humans. Learn to adapt to change, better.

I dont expect my friends in the fandom, to be on the same page as me with hobbies. Its stupidly expensive anyways. Any one of them that have a wife, leave her at home since well, HOBBIES! So. Racing, and stupid-speeds, seems to be MASSIVELY spiking interests in the RC world. That all said, Obviously I'm keeping right-up to snuff with this stuff. Recently decided to buy the parts for my quadcopter to "future proof" it. Come next week..I'll have my parts...rebuild..again..from scratch. Allowing me to run 3S...4S...6S.thanks to micro-sized stepup/stepdown regulators. So. Come eventually, I will have some pretty insane-speed flying videos. 4S is my current goal. I dont plan to touch 6S for awhile. BUT!!! everything is there and ready for it. Just thought I'd share where the world is going on this. For those who don't know a thing about these, the % of people that care to use drones for photography / spying, is like 10% in comparison to the people using them for speed/pod-style racing, and flat-out insanity flying. Course, this will someday make people go "omg 90mph what if they crash into a house banbanban" well, RC jets going >150mph have been around for many years. Speedy RC, is far old. Your humans. Learn to adapt to change, better.

Weekend of flyin' fun
Posted 10 years agoSo yeah. Warm weather..sunny..My weekends generally roll with a similar pattern. Going out for lunch with the family, and spending the rest of the day out flying with the local-multirotor group. Lately been staying out til 7 to 11pm, just all depends whos around and whats going on. Specially as the weather warms up, the nights get longer, nights get warmer, I expect people to be hanging out all day..which will be nice. That's what I generally do, to keep myself busy on the weekends..get out of the house for awhile, and take a break from my usual-life habbits. Everyone has their things. My dad does trap/skeet shooting on weekends, I do flying. When the weather is great, to be honest, there's really hardly anything i rather do instead, unless theres a fur-con.

FPV Flying as a Hobby ( Techy / explained )

SO! Tis fairly often I run into public people...Or even furries via chats..and hear people who dont really know what FPV is. Or what fun you get out of it.
In simple terms. Assuming budget isnt a care ( aka easy to get full FPV effect ) FPV flying an aircraft is simulating riding on the aircraft...without actually being on, the aircraft. First-Person-View. This is achieved by having a HD-Video camera on board, shooting video siganls to a 1.28 / 2.4 / 5.8 ghz transmitter, across the field...to a ground station. At said ground station, the video ( and audio ) signals are received, and usually spit it onto a LCD screen, or for full immersion, Goggles. Goggles such as FatShark Dominator HDs. Having them on, is pretty much like going to the Imax and sitting center of the theater. You have SOME black around the screen, but it mostly takes up a majority of your vision. So basically at this level, you get the illusion as if your on the quadcopter/plane/helicopter/car/boat/WHATEVER, driving it around..without risking your life. COOL.

2) Sports/Acro flying
Rarely, do people do both. Why? Because a frame for photography is generally built on a stabilizing system, to keep the camera always horizontal...known as a gimbal.

Which, by the way. Fun-Fact: These stability systems, if you sped the money on proper sensor boards, run smoother than any 'Steadicam' product. It's the same exact stuff. only far higher sensitivity, better motors, etc.

But. If your into sports flying...You dont want any of that 'crap' on your frame. It does you no good, slows you down, and its going to be shattered to a billion peices before the actual quadcopter is. Personally, As much as I love photography, im a sports flyer. Why? Its a rush. I can watch my own videos, other people's videos, etc online and enjoy it..and feel nothing out of it. Its a lot different when your in control, wearing near-full immersive goggles. By then everything feels real-enough that when you JUST skim by a tree, you naturally dodge your body away from it. Despite, it does nothing. Its just natural instinct of 'Oh SHI a tree nearly smacked my face'
So...personally my 'enjoyment' of FPV flying, is Acro-insanity. I'm into the 50MPH flying, 5-flips-per-second stuff, pushing limits, because during most all 7-9 minutes of flight, im so immersed that I'm on adrenaline rush. Aka high-alertness/focus, fast heart-rate, and sometimes even light shaking...commonly cringing my toes into the ground now and then when im doing a tight move and have that 'Fuuuufuufufufufufuffufufufuuu YAY I DIDNT DIE' feel. ITs...pretty common after a flight, I take the goggles off like ohhhhhh my god.... I need to sit and relax for 10 minutes.... *big sigh of relief* Like some people are when they get off a brand new roller-coaster. For these reasons, some people HATE flying FPV, because they get scared shitless and hate that feeling. I enjoy it. Which is why I moved past 'slow lazy flying' and went into the world of Acro....Acrobatics, that is.
So. Within reasons. Its not hard to see why there's times.....when its a nice...warm...calm day.....I'm 99% prone to pick FPV flying with fellow FPV flyers, over most anything else. Not because i dont want to do anything else...hang with certain friends...etc etc, Its just when given the option to have that rush, i rather go that way. Its like taking a 8 year old. and saying "Do you wanna hang with Johnny, or go to Disney Land?" *child screams of painfully loud tears-of-joy for disney land* Thought so!!!!!!!
Yeah. Thats me with FPV. Anyone who thnks I'm crazy for spending what all I got into my hobby...Far more thrill than anything else money has bought in my life. And if you think thats a lot..Pfff..Its a hobby. Far from 'done spending' turst me..i got desires for DSLR carrying Octos. I'm just not feeling up to it right now when I'm enjoying the thrills of mini-flying.

This video, First time trying out Acro+ on 5-flips-a-second had me scared shitless. specially when i stopped a flip, was upside down, going nononono altitude..loosing..need..180 degrees more..PULL UP PULL UP!!!!!
The frame is Carbon Fiber..it can live a hit..but..still.
Oh. and main reason I dont fly for photography.. My crashes amy run me 3 dollars..maybe at most 200 bucks in repairs.

MCFC 2015 Review
Posted 10 years agoAs always, a lil con review! Thought this year's MCFC was a lot more fun than the past. Had a great time hanging out with a lot of friends, as well as running into new people to hang around with. Very productive con, Really didn't have any 'down-time' at all. Good amount of people, the weather wasnt TOO bad ( Great for suiters ^^ ) and the raves of course, had a great sound-system. I Would write out a list of people I enjoyed hanging around buuuuuut that would be too many xD Days kept busy..Nights kept busy. Had fun doing little mission runs and so forth.
Greatly looking forward to next year's MCFC. I plan to stay til Monday next year, as Friday-Sunday felt short. Did end up having a room to store stuff in, to keep suiting and what not sunday. Buuuuuut it would have been nice to chill around and sleep a bit, rather than having to go home @ night. Swear every time I do that, I'm leaving the place going "Damnit! The rave FINALLY does great, good-tempo music..JUST AS WE LEAVE!!!" xD MCFC did have a good mix. But seems like a lot of cons do a blend of trap'ish sounding music with a Drumstep--DnB twist. Which...is fine and all. But I do wish cons would switch things up either hourly or day-by-day. Have a little twist so people who love trap..can love it. People that dubstep/DnB...can love it... and people who want hardstyle/hardcore, can love it. Understand the whole 'gotta keep a tempo suiters can not-die-on' buuut it would be nice to see that someday. Else regardless you always have some people saying 'this music sucks!' regardless what you play. I still loved it either way, but found myself there like 'lets pick up the pace to something not so slow'ish..?' But....thats just me :P Too much of a EDM freak to sit here and write more about that than the con.. xD *wags*
Anywho! To everyone who was at MCFC that I ran into..hanged with..etc etc... Love you all!!! Thanks for making it a great con! Lotsa cute fuzzies running all over x3 Left the con with a sore-throat from too much talking/high-tone voicing..soooooo I'll call it a success xD

Pretty much have a good reality break from the work life, enjoy seeing friends, and enjoy suiting. Will always enjoy meeting new people, making new friends, etc. Dont mind any of that at all. Have a few ideas/plans to try out for this con, all depending how it goes..who i run into..etc etc.Hopefully enjoy some active fursuiting time, and relaxed/chilled fursuiting time. Not 100% sure what all to expect from this con yet, I'm mostly focused for MFF and AC due to friends whom I know are attending that one, so currently at a bit of a lost with MCFC. Rarely do I use a room besides sleeping, at most photo ops..so...You'd have to find me, and many other things.

Open to it...Just dont expect much out of me since I social drink -- dont care to get buzzed/drunk

Again, I accept free hugs. Far as snuggles go, I tend to keep that towards friends or fuzzies whom i think are cute. Doesnt mean if you ask and I say no, that your not cute. It just means I have to have good reasons / trust / etc to accept it. Wont lie, I'm fairly hugely into fursuit snuggling. I just keep it to friends / people I find too adorable to say no to.

Plans tend to happen at last second, but given theres room ( if vehicle or in general, spots at the restaraunt ) Sure

What’s your goal for the con this year?
Pretty much have a good reality break from the work life, enjoy seeing friends, and enjoy suiting. Will always enjoy meeting new people, making new friends, etc. Dont mind any of that at all. Have a few ideas/plans to try out for this con, all depending how it goes..who i run into..etc etc.Hopefully enjoy some active fursuiting time, and relaxed/chilled fursuiting time. Not 100% sure what all to expect from this con yet, I'm mostly focused for MFF and AC due to friends whom I know are attending that one, so currently at a bit of a lost with MCFC. Just going to wing it and w/e happens, happens. So long as people dont expect too much out of me, im there to have fun..roam the con..and generally suit and hang out. Not really a room partie person, I typically denie offers since I dont like being at a coon, stuck to a single room, for too long. Anything I can do locally...i dont do at cons...Tis the whole point of a con ( in my mind ) do stuff I dont do locally...like fursuit a shi-ton xD

-- Will be at MCFC 2015, going to be there from Friday to Sunday witha a group of friends. More details on that to come, looking forward to seeing everyone, especially online friends who dont live locally. Will be a busy con for sure! Got approved for the vacation time Friday/Monday, so I'll be there no doubt! AC/MFF/maybe IFC are still planned.
Updates in the real-world:
-- Not much really. Just keeping myself busy with work. been here for over 4 months now, no problems, and slowly getting my way around and pushing towards the next level to bump my pay quiet a bit. Lovin the job, keeps me waking up happpy to go to work every day, and keeps me bouncy all the time, life is pretty made / happy as it stands.
Updates in the Hobby-World:
-- Forever improving systems. Past month I've upgraded my mini 250mm frame to be more sporty, bought the new Dominator-HD FPV goggles, and bought a new 16 channel transmitter, as well as two 600mw 5,8ghz transmitters to upgrade both quads. Keep the systems improving..to keep pushing limits. 50mph aint nothin xD

Always something going on. Always keeping myself busy. Rarely letting myself be bored. The reasons I hardly post stuff online..FA...twitter...FB... is seen above. I keep myself busy. I typically/naturally choose not to post project-updates / pictures / new-toys on FA/FB/twitter too often, since I commonly post that to my 'human facebook' where 99% of people on there are fellow-makers and can tech-talk. Not to say i dont know any furs who know a thing or two on high-energy electrical engineering / Industial...but, I like to post more furry things, instead of stuff that only a certain % will understand. Though for those who are interested in that all, I dont really post it anywhere. Pretty much keep things to myself and my makers group. No real reason, really. I just feel as though its 'braggin rights' posting such things, when i rather be known for a floofy green/black wuff, who fursuits, and loves to have fun at cons. not specifically an industrial-high-energy geek, among many other things x.x

Cons of 2015
Posted 11 years agoSome are aware of this already, but wanted to share that my cons of 2015 are a go. Only way i cant go is if i cant get the time off ( no reason i cant because its first-come-first-serve not based on seniority ) I can request MFF 2015 off, now, if i wanted to...but yeah.
This year I'm mostly planning on what I posted on my main FA page ( PS I keep this rather updated ). GLFC, MCFC, AC, and MFF.
Slim chances i may try to add another con in, like IFC or something close by. 2016 I may try to venture out a little more, if theres a local carpool i can tag with. But I'll still be running GLFC/MCFC/AC/MFF as my core cons.
Deal is this entire year i have 11.5 days of vacation/floating holidays to use. I figured as i plan things ( so far at least ) I can attend the 4 cons, and only use 6 days of my vacation. Because we dont work saturdays ( volunteer optional ) and sundays are closed. This means when I attend a con, like AC, Thursday-Friday-Monday are the days i take off. Makes it nice. So. Likely wont use TOO much of the remaining 5.5 days left.
Come 2016, I get another full week of vacation time. so 2 weeks ( 10 days ) plus floating holidays ( 6 in a year ) and whatever i dont use up 2015, a little over half, carries over. Soooo...I have a F ton of days i can use, to maybe try to hit up some other cons. Mind you, these are all paid days off. So virtually every con I attend is free.
So! Thats pretty much whats up. Makes me very excited for keeping up with cons. Hopefully eventually hit up FWA, FC, and so forth.

2015 Up/Around the corner
Posted 11 years agoGona post about this now, since I'll be busy with work/family new-years eve and day.
So just felt like making a journal to conclude a few things. First off, 2014. Lot has changed / improved since 2013. More cons, More experiences, new friends, stronger friendships, etc. Met a lot of awesome people, some who I hold very very close to me, whom I wish could live closer but distance is always a thing it seems with good friends. No matter where you live, you'll never avoid it! Guess that's why conventions exist. I think for me my main big-hits of 2014 was getting a real career job and pretty much being 100% responsible for my own life. Being on a 2nd shift, I only see my family maybe 30 minutes TOPS a day. By time I get home, and enjoy my night, they're all asleep. So it pretty much feels like I live on my own. Taking care of myself in terms of food and such. But there's no complaints. Life is great/made, to me, right now. The only thing that can make life a step greater, is a mate. Outside of that, I've felt my life is pretty perfect as it sits. Dont have any bad days etc, Drive to/from work jamming out to EDM music singing along, all in great spirit. Hum/sing random shit as I work like others around me there, and so forth. So, literally loving the life right now, far out of the drama depression days now that I proved to myself I'm not a failure in life with my piss-horrible school grades and my low self-esteem towards moving out of my past job. Now that I can see where I am in life, I'm nothing but a bubbly personality spirit.
Which leads me to 2015. Resolutions? Never was into that. And honestly, I don't have any goals for 2015 even if I had to pick some. Cant say much except idk, keep bonding with friends? Life is great the way it is. Love finds itself. There's a few people I'm pretty interested in. Though distances makes me back off a bit due to pretty horrible past experiences. So, I really have no goals to list here. Just gona keep doing what I do best. Work. Hit furry cons. Hang with furries.
2015 con wise will bring the same as 2014. Although I can afford to go to more cons since my vacation days pay the cost of going to a con, I rather wait til 2016 before adding in more, as I'll have 2 weeks total of vacation time by then, to blow off. Taking it easy 2015 to pay off my car, majority if not all of my college loan, and so forth.
With that said, I'll leave this as an open thing. Feel free to comment any questions you may have for me, things you want to know, or just something simple.

Saturday's Bowling Meet Review
Posted 11 years agoWeeeeellllll its been awhile...since my last journal post..soooooo HIYA!
Just wanted to post saying I had a fun time at the last Grand-Rapids bowl meetup. There was a loooot of people there, and the meet flew by waaaaaaaaaay too fast! I'm fairly surprised how much the meets have grown, since they first started. 10+ people use to be considered a LOT of people at the meet! but now we have what...over 50 easily? Never really counted before but its a lot xD Love seeing more and more locals, new furs, or furs who simply didnt know the meets existed. I still to this day, run into furs in GR who say oh there's meets in the area? I didnt know!!! We still have furries who in general, just dont know these things happen. Saw a video blog the other day of a local place. There was a furry on it near the end, and im like huh.. Never seen that fursuit head in my life..its pretty good! But id be sure she doesnt know about our meets...let alone Facebook pages and such, to meet furs in the area, to tell her about the meets.
Anywhom. Had a great time, Was glad seeing some friends I havent seen in awhile, and was glad i was able to hang around them and be a derp x3 The dancing on the bar side was fun. Oddly had a girl who felt like rubbing her but against my front side and i waas like w/e ill let you have your fun for a few secs then go on. XD and i enjoyed the multiple public people who wanted pictures with us. Even when I got over to steak n shake, some guy and his friends ( 3 others ) noticed me, and randomly shouted out to me 'HEY GREEN DUDE CAN I PET YOU?' and im like .... SURE!!! he asked me to come over, and im not the type to just randomly walts over to a group of people idk. so I kinda ignored it for a few and he ran over and petted me and asked for a hug, as his friends were laughing probably like woooow really? xD
Lookin forward to the next one. Glad i got a few peoples input randomly, about how much i ( as a person ) and as a suiter, have changed/improved since i first started going to the meets. Glad to hear it ^^
