I'm Still Alive!
Posted 12 years agoWow, uh, that was entertaining. I guess I'm still alive, I think. XD Five years... what happened in that time? Let's see... I graduated college, got a job, got married, and now am trying to get out of that first job. XD So, basically, life finally caught up with me.
But yeah, I'm still alive and kicking. I'm also a case study in how NOT to get anything done. Yep, five years since my last update, and nothing to the point where I feel like I could post it. That will hopefully be rectified soon, however. I think I've finally got things organized to the point where I'll get something written. At the very least, I should have some summaries of the various projects I'm working on - maybe even within the next week. XD
Well, that's it for now. KB3GJF clear and listening.

Yay First Submission!
Posted 18 years agoFinally I get rid of the horrible blank space that has been my gallery for all this time! I know I said I'd like to post some of my stories, but those sketches were easier to put into a more-or-less presentable form. :P It's not much, but it's a start.

Posted 18 years agoAs I think I've already mentioned, I'm not much for journally things. I'm just writing this so I can say a few things that I think I probably should have said earlier.
First of all, I apologize to anyone I might not have gotten back to in a reasonable amount of time (you know who you are). I could offer an excuse, but I think it would be lame at best, so I won't.
Second, I've still been coming here fairly regularly, but I've been mostly lurking. FA is a pressure valve for me. Coming here and looking at the varied art is something I like to do when I'm overly stressed and need to cool down for a bit. The problem with that is, when I'm stressed, I tend to not want to do much of anything. That includes commenting on art. If there's any artists out there that I've faved art from that would prefer I comment on it, I'm sorry. I'll try to do better in the future. :)
Third, I've recently become concerned over the emptiness of my gallery. I say I'm a writer, and there's no written material there. I say I draw, but there's no pictures there. It's become somewhat disconcerting to me.
However, nothing I am working on is anywhere near what one might call "complete." Not even a chapter or two here or there (for my primary focus, written work). Mostly what I have is fragments that should somehow fit together into a coherent whole. As far as drawn material, I have nothing that might even count as a sketch (I'm still trying to teach myself).
Which is why I'd like to ask, would anybody like to see some bits and pieces of what I'm working on? Everything's a bit of a mess at the moment, with chunks of ideas from close to twenty different half-formed concepts, but I think I have some stuff that's good enough to be posted. Or at least, it's well-formed enough to be posted.

Posted 19 years agoFinally decided to get off my ass and put together my profile. Bleh.
I'm not much for journally things, nor for updating regularly, but I can at least write one entry, right?
I'm working on a couple of stories at the moment, between reading for classes and such. If I ever get one marginally completed, I'll probably post it. Eventually. If I remember. :P
At the moment, I need to read something for class and then sleep, so I'll sign off for now. 73's!
