I'm writting this journal more as a request for help and guidance, can't help I am hitting a brick wall and my progress and evolution as an artist is starting to become stagnant.

I had noticed there are two general choke points on my art production that is making them come rather slow:

1)Scene Planning and Pose
2) Colouring and Shading

I know 'practice' is the common answer to such, but is there an specific training to speed up my sketching and overall art output?. That is the first question, the second question is 'how do other artists make their shading look vivid, very saturated but pleasant to the eye? I had noticed mine is not as `vivid` (or contrastant/saturated) so is there a good shading (colour picking) tutorial anyone can point me towards?

I am suddenly meeted by the pleasant surprise a lot more of people had watched, commented and faved my art, as an artist I can`t put into words how much that means for me, so I wanted to make a message to thank you all for that, and that I`ll try my best to keep the quality and improve it, reduce the times between one art being posted and another and make more things were people can participate too!

Mia here! Yes, I had not died - I am getting there lol - but I just wanted to convey that I am extremely sorry for my absence, my university is killing me in more ways than one, but hey! it might enable one biggy project hopefully in the future!

Yuppies! you all read right, I am studying to become a game developer! And I am loving the career, everytime I think of what I want to do, I get more excited, even though I am juuuust in second semester but I had learnt a lot.

Hello everyone! Glad to see everyone is alive and well!

Nope dear followers, I am not dead. I am just working even more at my current job hence I literally get home and land on my bed just to get ready for the next day.

So finally since I had a little bit of time I had posted the arts I have been recently doing, soon I'll post some Work In Progress (WIPS) for what I am doing and the reason of my silence.

On other hand. Commissions are always open, as long as you don't mind waiting - I am a slow artist and life is getting rather busy but I seek every single comission to its end to make sure all and every single one of my commissioners is happy and hopefully a recurring customer.

I am giving you an update on the commissions field.

I have noticed an increased interest in commissions with my oc as a second character in it, and as you know I feel flattered by such - imagine it, being paid to draw yourself~ - so I have come to the following update.

Commissions featuring my OC Mia will have this benefits and these requirements.

- If you pick my character to appear in the picture, you don't pay for his slot (essentially this means you don't pay the 12 dollars per extra character for Mia)
- I can - at random and time disposition - 'upgrade' the picture (from a lineart to flats, from flats to soft shading) with no cost. This often depends on the quality of the idea suggested and such) This is completely up to me.

-Yours truly can be used for NSFW pictures

Seeing how things are running and how my burning gamer spirit seems to want to finally shine. I came to a decision that will take, patience and discipline.

I will be upgrading my pc to one of the latests GPU cards, and Power supply so I can play those amazing games most of you guys play. (I am extremely in love with Dying Light and while I can play it nicely. I would love to play it on ultra definition with 60 FPS or more).

While I would love to go multiplayer (for Overwatch, amongst others - recently bought BF 4, and BF Hardline - ) Sadly this country internet in my area sucks donkey balls so I can't do much about it. So I will focus on single player games but hey! its not everytime the net sucks, sometimes it actually works and I had a lot of interesting Overwatch matches, some War Thunder ones and more~!

So yeah.

A GPU and probably a power supply ( I don't know if its gonna support my current one).

So far that is for news (I plan to go full scale upgrading, from the gpu, power supply, and later move to a keyboard and headset, and last a monitor - I use a TV 32" flatscreen)

And probably commission people to draw my OC Mia with ponies in nsfw situations.

Hello everyone, reporting for some news!

I'm gonna be opening a pair of YCH in the next few days.

The theme will be made for anthro and another for ponies.

They'll be probably 3 to 4 spots.

I'll be making the poses and such in the next days and sadly I won't have too much time for the auctions of each spot I plan I'll have them on Thursday and I'll leave these spots open for two or one week.

The idea will be a princess(spot for herm or female) is being pampered by 2 or 3 guards with their 'swords'. One will be on her lips, the other will get a hand job from the princess and the last is...either for her feet or just releasing on her belly.

The ponies will have a slight difference but I'lloving think more on it.

Hope this christmas had treated you all well. Mine was a little bit more sour than last one (my parents needed money and emptied my two bank accounts) so I didn't buy anything on Steam Winter Sale, nor a tablet I was looking for to draw even when I am not at the pc (which would actually work wonders on me training and me arting everywhere for the sake of improving and more business).

So I came to the decision that I am deeply in love with art. It might not be my main income source, but I plan to make it almost primary, which leads me to announce the following:

1)Making a Commission chart prizes with samples for each kind (sketch, lineart, grayscale, flat colours, shaded, etc.) for the sake of my customers have an overall idea of the art they are getting and the prize they pay.

2)I'm gonna be making more YCHs, which I intend to make into two subsections: General Anthropomorphic and Pony since I kinda want to tend to both market publics.

3) I might do the eventual raffle for a free pic depending on amount of money received - or the amount of watchers that I get -

4) I can't do streams due to my sucky network. But as soon as I move into someplace where the network actually works I might open stream comissions and raffles.

5) I plan to work with a heavy participation of the public. So for example, I would like suggestions for two YCHs (two for anthros and two for ponies) please use the comment section below to give your input.

6) Hope you all had a nice Christmas and a Happy New (Cumming)Year.

Mia here bringing you some updates about arts and what not.

Well, the funding for a new tablet was a complete failure, it seems I'm not famous enough for such a luxury - yet - but luck striked on my side.

With some extra hours at my job and some lending of money I did to my dad a few months ago. I managed to get enough money for my new tablet.

My new equipment is arriving next week - hopefully if no more holidays and shit strike and delay it more - and is the following:

Wacom Cintiq 13HD - YAY I got finally at least myself a Cintiq, gonna have to get used to draw on top of the picture again lmao.

Wacom Intuos Pro Medium - Yes, I also got this new tablet just in case, I seen the Cintiq has more wiring that I would be feeling comfortable with...and just in case the power oscillations I tend to have ruin my days this backup baby will do.

Wacom Stylus Pen - Since I'm a damn hard to die artist, I opened my tablet, took the parts that got fried - thankfully nothing about pressure or sensitivity was hurt, or detection wise. So all I need is a new pen to draw with. I ordered this, but the stock was out so yeah, I guess the Wacom official store is importing one, it might take a while to get here... but when it does, I will have my Intuos 4 up and running again.



Those are the latest news about equipment. About art I pretend to upload a pony porn project named Mare Breeding just to keep this FA alive, I wish you all merry christmas and see you soon.

Sadly I'm opening this message over here at my main blog to tell you a sad turn out of events.

My Intuos4 that worked with me for 3 years stopped working today. I don't know what the hell happened, when i turned my pc like normal i felt a strange subtle burnt plastic scent, when i start to check the source of it i realize half the display of my intuos4 (the upper half) is blinking and the lower half doesn't even turn on, there was a small bubble shaped mound close to the turned off led i passed my finger and felt heat.

So the diagnosis is: something fried closer to the display on the lower side of the tablet rendering unusable.

I don't have the money to buy a new tablet - which was the purpose of the comissions i had been receiving ( to save up for a new tablet before this happened - but it seems like life had others plans.

I am sad to inform you till i don't get a new tablet no further updates of the story of Miaterasu, and other projects i had going will be stopped.

I can only wait till i save enough money to buy a new one ( I have a work but the pay is not high and my dad mostly asks for most of my money to help with expenses at home) - which will take VERY long - due to the fact that here on south america this kind of products are very expensive -.

I'm not the pleading type, but if you feel generous to drop some pennies my way to help me get back on track. I'll be forever grateful.
