Been in the process of moving, making tons of cookies and cosplay and holidays and life.
When I move into the new house, I might be looking into hosting meets again, but life and job and organizing other things are still taking priority right now.

To those of you who are going to Katsucon, Lithe and I will be co-hosting the VALVe events as 'Medic and Medic's Wife'.
For those of you who were at Otakon 2012, you'll remember my 'Medic Wife' cosplay and the giant photoset and shenanigans that we had Friday and Saturday. (This will be very similar, so bring all your VALVe and lets make it a huge success again!)

More roommates needed for Otakon! $100 per person for 4 nights, 5 days (Thursday to Monday) in a king suite, right around the corner from the Con. We had a few last minute drop outs (like literally Just told me TODAY that they couldn't come), and really need another few person(s).

UPDATE:
All room places have been filled and I am fairly certain that I won't be cosplaying Madam Red this year at all. I will be attending the Kuro shoots as Blu Medi-Wife though, so I will see my Kuro friends there!

Title is self explanatory. The Zenkaikon room is full, if you didn't get back to me before now, I don't want to hear it, you had plenty of time.

In other news, there is no other news. Looking for people who want to be photographed, sorting out life, etc etc.

I still have two room spots that need to be filled for Zenkaikon. The room is a King suite, booked from Thursday to Sunday, fully equipped with all amenities including a stocked kitchenette with unlimited free coffee, a king bed, pull out sofa, a second sofa, and free breakfast. As of right now, there are three people in the room, so there is plenty of space.

It is a co-gender room with standard convention rules applying.

As for the other shenanigans, I finally updated my previous photoset on DA. As the set consists of over Seventy images, I am not going to put it up here, go look at it there. It is titled November 2011 and features myself, Cynicalia, and two other cosplayers terrorizing the Penn University and BCCC campuses.

The next photoset will happen upon gathering enough parties interested, and/or someone bringing me an awesome idea. (So hey, if you've ever to do a photoshoot, let me know.)

Well, I usually don't update this as I was under the impression that no one really gave a damn anymore...apparently I've been missed. I was unaware anyone had even cared that I was gone from here, let alone that people were hoping for me to come back, so in light of that I might start to be more active here again if those 'people that missed me' turn out to actually exist.

As far as the things I mentioned in my last post, they've ground to a halt for the most part. Yes I do mean all of them, including the loss of my mate, It's left me quite pessimistic and single again, two things which I dearly wish would change.

As far as my suit status, I'm beginning to plan out how to make a wireframe head. Think rennaisance mask, somewhat similar to This but covering the face a lot more.

As for Cosplay updates, my sister got married and I have a powder blue dress that I cannot think of anything to do with. Someone got it into my head, that I should use it to make a cosplay for Medic's Wife, from TF2. While not ever seen, (yet), I could easily turn this gown into a 60's German outfit...only snag in that plan is that I would need either a RED Demo or a BLU Medic to premier the outfit with, otherwise It feels kind of silly to me. (So if you know any TF2 cosplayers, send them to me. I'm also looking or more people for my Kuroshitsuji group as well)

I'm also finally finished my fourth version of Madam Red, a new ballgown look, which I'll be exhibiting at Zenkaikon 2012. I've since scrapped the Wonderland project as I've come to discover that it woudn't hold my chest unless I fully bone the corset with steel and I've sworn to myself never to steel bone another corset from scratch after the last time I nearly crippled my hands from it. As for the 3-peice fishtail outfit that I haven't been wearing recently, I'm actually thinking of retiring for the most part due to some unpleasant people making me feel very awkward and ashamed about wearing it.



In Other Convention related news, I need a few roommates for Zenkaion. I'm looking for no more than 3 people max, (meaning 4 in the room total including myself), and price is very flexible. I'll even consider footing the whole bill myself if I already know you. Originally I wasn't even going to get a room for this con as it's only an hour drive away from where I live...but I kid you not, buying the hotel room for 3 nights is Cheaper than paying for the gas to drive up and back, (seriously its like $100 cheaper), so I'm just going to book a room. I don't mind going to Con's alone, but if I'm going to be staying in the hotel I'd rather have the company and I'm always willing to help out someone in a pinch if I can.

If you want to go to Zenkaikon with me, you MUST let me know at least a month before the con. If you tell me Maybe and then wait until a few days before the con to get back to me, I will get angry, I will not let you room with me, and generally consider you an inconsiderate being from that point on.

So hello my darlings! Have you missed me? I missed you...well most of you anyway.
I'm not dead...just, well...life ate everything.

What I've been doing lately:
College = working on 2 degrees, enough said
Health = developed a new disease in my right lung that's immune to all antibiotics, got put on steroids, messed up things happened, I'm mostly better now. My general health is kind of in the hole but I'll be okay. ...On the upside, I might be the one that cultured the disease that causes the zombie apocalypse!

Other important things = I'm thinking of having a mini convention and going into the event planning business. It will be the first dual furry/anime convention that I know of.
It's a brain child in the making, so ideas would be helpful.
(Ideas = DJ's, vendors, panels, activities, concerns and questions)
I'm also looking for people interested in getting involved as part of the staff for this.
It will not be happening any time soon. I'm hoping to get it going by spring 2012.
It's going to start small, maybe 50-100 people. Send me a note if you have input.

Also....V now has a mate, he is my frenchman and heavens help you all, we're planning on living together. That's right, a frenchman and a huge blue pony, wrap your mind around it.



Oh, and one last point I'd like to make: I was a pony before ponies were cool!

So, for those of you who stalk me and have been wondering where I've been, here's the update.

Long story short, I've had pneumonia for the past two months or so and am finally mostly over it.
As for the next fur meet, It's being worked on and hopefully it will happen within the next two to three months.

There will be new rules added this time around, but don't worry about that just yet.
I need to be 100% better before there will be any serious planning done.

Hopefully, my next update wont be too far away.

Personal status update

Gravity, yes it does still work. For some reason my body felt the need to test this theory on Monday night/Tuesday morning.
How did it test this you ask? Why by convincing my right leg that it would be an awesome time to relapse into uselessness and buckle out from under me.
As a result, all 150+ pounds of my horsey self fell right onto my bad hip. Yes, literally right onto the hip, resulting in a foot long bruise going from the middle of my lower back to the center of my hip/ass area.
This also resulted in an outpatient hospital visit where they politely informed me that 'I was lucky, and I only managed to heavily bruise my hip bone and not break anything.'
According to them, I should be ok in about a week, meaning by next Monday at the earliest, probably. Until then I've been instructed to remain off the injured area and to move as little as possible. ((For those of you that know me, you will know that this is going to drive me crazy.)) And for those of you who dont know, just try and see if you can only sit on one half of your ass for an entire week, sleep only on your stomach, and generally only get up to use the loo. Its not fun kids, no it is not.
So if by any chance you were in any doubt that gravity was working, it is.
Don't test it, trust me the gravity is still turned on.



P.S. If on the off chance you see my online and I don't respond, I am either zonked out on pain meds or too damn tired and sore to bother reaching for the laptop. Deal with it, I'll get to you eventually.

So, Now that i literally spent a full 24 hours sleeping to recover from the con exhaustion, I figure Ill toss up my review of the awesomeness and tell you all what you missed.
(There may be mild language and mention of unmentionable appendages...you have been warned?)

Friday, was boring as hell. There was a huge group in the beginning around 8am but as soon as the free bacon was eaten, everyone vanished into the ether. It didn't help much either that a lot of people got there specifically at 8 for pre-reg and the staff didn't open things until almost quarter to ten...
That's two hours of time that I could have kept on sleeping, and considering I'd had about oh maybe 4 hours over the course of 3 days....yeah...this pony was annoyed but it ended up being a nice little powwow for those hours at least.

Saturday, was full of epic win. Epic WIN I tell you...W-I-N
I will keep this brief and sum it up as thus: 5 Back rubs + Free Horsey Pron + Free Noms + Ridiculous mounds of awesome commissions + Not being the only pony there + Awesome people (You know who you are!) = Happy V
I didnt leave the con until 3am on Saturday.
Oh, oh and the MED-KIT is teh awesomes! I will be making an Ubercannon for next year regardless of what the theme happens to be, that is how much the Med-kit has inspired me with its awesomeness.
Next FA:U I shall be Medic Pony. Huzzah!

Sunday was a bit less awesome than Saturday, but still gratifying in its essence.
I was working most of the day Sunday guarding the dealers den, the con suite, and generally corralling those who were far too inebriated to be left unmonitored. The Marriott hotel has got to have the best hotel staff I've ever encountered. They were so laid back and friendly but still professional at the same time and their food was incredibly affordable and super tasty as well.

Somehow, I ended up volunteering and working all 3 days of the Con.
It was totally worth it not only for the experience but earning free registration for next year didn't hurt either.
Some of you may have been herded by me, or told to STFU in the halls. I also ended up corralling some drunks and I was the one with the big gay purple heart shaped glow stick that ended up directing the back end of the fursuit parade. It was like doing air traffic control, but with peoples butts instead of planes.
I have discovered, through the course of working the Con, that I am extremely good at herding large groups. One would think I would have known this prior to the con considering I am a horse, but It was very interesting to just see huge crowds obeying my requests with very little repetition of instructions.

If I got you with the glowstick of shiny heart shaped purple faggotory, its effects have now worn off so stop blaming me for your buttsex!



You people that I made vows to stalk, I will be stalking you now because I'm awake.
If I promised to stalk you and I forgot, then poke at me damnit! Mutual stalking must be mutual, ya kno?
Sadly I wont be making it to Anthrocon this year unless I come into some serious funds some time soon or I get kidnapped... but I will be at Anthrocon next year.

So, Meet number 3 was a full on success.
For those of you who came, you were awesome. I think this meet was our best one yet. Big thanks to everyone who made the meet as awesome as it was.

I would like to ask those that came what kind of beverages you guys liked the best or would like to see at the next meet.
It seemed that the sodas got guzzled down in a matter of an hour, but there was only one person who was even remotely interested in the coffee and teas.
Also since it seems that we will be having tacos as a dinner theme from now on, let me know what you guys like to have on tacos that we didn't have out already, or if they were perfect and awesome on their own.
Give me some feedback on teh noms.

Its one thing to have something come up, bit it is another thing entirely to tell us you were coming and then never show up, and Then add insult to injury by not giving us any notification that you weren't coming.

Now if it was one or two people that would be understandable but it wasn't. Things come up, things happen. Murphys law is absolute, but it wasn't one or two people it was SIX.
Six people did not show up and all six of those people did not call us to tell us that they couldn't make it, nor did any of them give us notification of why they did not show up after the fact.

If you aren't going to make it, and you told us you were going to be there, then you let us know so that we aren't sitting and wondering what happened to you and if there was an accident or some other disaster.
It's called common courtesy, a.k.a. MANNERS.

Each and EVERY one of you was given my cell number when you RSVPed.
Unless you were injured and couldn't get to a phone, then there is no excuse for not texting or calling us to let us know what was going on.

Also in all the fun of the meet we sort of lost track of the reason we had it on the 22nd in the first place. Originally this meet was sort of intended to gather up a cluster of peoples to hang out with at FA: United 3.
We were hoping to form our own little mob of furs to hang/do photo shoots with/harass in general.
So... for those of you who are going to FA:United 3, let us know so we can harass you.

As for our next meet, it will be occurring within 3-4 months from now.
It will definitely NOT be in June or July as that is Convention season and both Sin and I will be insanely busy.

Let me first say, that I LOATHE adding fuel to media fire, and in most situations like this I ignore the drama and let it pass because giving it attention tends only to make it worse....However, this particular little bit of nonsense sits partially on my doorstep, which will be explained at the end of this post, therefore I feel it is worth my time to give my ¢2.

For those of you at the last fur meet, you remember Uncle Kage telling us about this fool who brought a gun to AC and was actually surprised that he was banned? Yes, well apparently people are still getting bent out of shape about it, and honestly I'm tired of the Drama Llamas.

Honestly I think people are reading way too much into this.

The rules say no guns (fake or otherwise), concealed or not, in the building or on the premises.

No guns means no guns, period. Its that simple.
No political standpoint, no hidden agendas, no in depth nonsense.

Think of AC as Uncle Kage's 'house'. He built it, he owns it, you are a guest.
If you want to come into his house you have obey his rules. If you don't like it, you don't come in. You especially don't blatantly and openly show people that you're breaking the rules, and then complain about being told to get out. That's just rude and asinine.
He doesn't care what the rules are in your house,
your neighborhood, your township, or your state.
You broke his rules in his house, get out and don't come back
Please stop pretending that you didn't already know this was going to happen from the start.
Go home, make a new friend, and move on with your life.


Now, for those of you who claim that Uncle Kage has something against people with guns, you are the people who prompted me to reply to this nonsense in the first place. I'm going inform you of a few things. I own two shotguns and a hunting rifle.
Uncle Kage was in my house, at my dining room table, enjoying the fur meet I co-hosted, fully aware of the rifles in the house and having a great time.

Hey again everyone,

Due to the severity of the weather the meet will be postponed until tomorrow, Sunday the 20th at 10am extending into Monday morning at some point.
If the weather does not improve by tomorrow the meet will be moved to next Sunday the 27th.

However due to imposing weather, we are pushing up the opening to 10am, so come as early as 9 if you really feel the need to beat out the snow.
