Makes the heart grow fonder?

Been gone for quite some time now. Things at home haven't been ideal, but hey! Graduation is little more than four months away! And I turn 18 in six. Hopefully things will get better after that! I've mostly been reading and doing ceramic things. I'll try to post some pictures of things I throw on the wheel/more sculptures! I miss all of you guys, and hope I'll be able to talk more!

So this week is a BIG week for me! I'm going to be at All-State choir camp from Monday until Saturday. A little back story on All-State: Every year our choir department at our high school has a few people audition for All-State choir, only six students from any particular school can be chosen to go. I prepared an Italian song for the audition as well as a lot of sight-reading. We have four high schools in our district, all of them had six students chosen to go. So all in all, my school district makes up about 15% of the whole thing! I'm really excited to go there and meet new people! Another thing about it is that they have every minute of the day planned out for us! And they even have activities planned for each night! I'm really excited for the whole thing! Although, I'm not completely sure that the dorms have wifi... ^^;; So if I'm not around, that's why. Have a great week everyone!

So, my first time at the drive-in wasn't THE greatest... But it was still a fun time with a bunch of friends!! :3 My friend's sister thought it would be a great idea to tell one of my friends that his car got stolen from the local park he parked in so we could car-pool.... She was joking but we freaked out and left in the middle of Men in Black 3. Oh well, we had a good time trying to find our way home at 1 in the morning! On the flip side, Madagascar 3 was a GREAT movie!! I recommend it to everyone!! :D

ALWAYS remember to put sunblock on your face!! You don't want to end up like me with a wicked tan on just your face because that is the ONLY place you forgot to put sunscreen. Before today it was a nasty sunburn though... Now I have to go and tan the rest of me so my face isn't the only part of me that IS tan... -_- Let this be a lesson to you ALL!!! Unless you actually want to have just a tan face. That's cool too. No judgement here. :P

So I guess not EVERY day can be the bestest best day ever. Some of 'em have to be not so bestest too. That's what makes the great days so special!! Time to start looking for that open door!

This is going to be really long!! Sorry!! So, I play rugby with my community youth sports group and we have been working really hard all season! We had a tournament yesterday with another team and since we beat them we got to compete for either first or second place in the state. We started our match today with high morale and great energy, until our teammates started getting seriously injured because the Sir (Ref) wasn't calling dirty plays. Just to name a couple were, tackles that were around mine and my teammates necks, and malicious beating of me and teammates. But even though my team lost a few girls due to injury, we still pulled through and won 20 to 12 and won first place in our division of rugby! This is suuper exciting for me because I have never won a medal for anything EVER. And my first medal was a first place one!! Hope everyone had as great of a day as I did! Happy summer everybody!! <3
