Some webcomic plans
Posted 11 years agoSo I have had these toughs about making a satirical web comic staring a cast of anthro characters, where characters are based on people that I know. It sounds a bit of a risky idea since well, people tend not to like when there is the fictional characters based on them, but well, many authors seem to do that. I probably should start with the script and then draw the references for them. Oh, and I plan to call it "The Miserables". Then again, I always have these plans and don't follow them trough for one reason or another...
What are your thoughts about these plans?

The meatless october challenge. Day 1
Posted 12 years agoSo, the idea is that for a month I won't eat red meat or chicken. The idea behind this is basically try a diet change for a while, and in my case, maybe get it going permanently if there isn't any serious complications, which I really doubt tough. This challenge was originally presented to Finnish journalist and tv personality, Riku Rantala, by environmental activist and politician Leo Stranius. He in turn decided to invite the general public along to the experiment, as a moral support and trying the attempt together,
Personally I've been kinda pro-vegetarian for a while, but due to my laziness I haven't been actually able to give up the meat, until this challenge showed up. The reasons behind the decision are mostly utilitarian, since alongside the obvious ethical treatment of animals argument, it actually leaves more space for grow food for everyone, since the land that haven't used to grow fodder for the animals that are on their way to a slaughter house (which I kinda feel is a wasting of good resources, which we all know can't go on for long if we all want to survive). I mean not to moralise anyone who likes eating meat, since it is pretty delicious, but I find that rather selfish reason to keep eating it.
But yeah, today was the first day of the challenge. Believe it or not, I actually found a rather delicious recipe from the internet, which is creamy pasta sauce, where you basically put two types of onions and table mushroom. It was way more delicious than those messes you can find from the store, and I am happy how well it ended up, despite I almost forgot to add some of the ingredients to it (mainly, the veggie stew cube), and almost made it into vichyssoise. Oh well, hiccups are hiccups. I'll expect that to feed me for next two days, in addition to crub they serve us in school.
I'll return to this at the later date and chronicle my odyssey trough the month.

Posted 12 years agoThere's not probably too many of you reading this (Read: just

My name is Vilinder, 20 years old, and currently studying for media-assistant in Lybecker Institute of Arts and Crafts. As you can probably tell, I am fairly new to this site, and I find the furry art style quite appealing, for reasons that seem to be rather mysterious to myself. Anyhow, I'd be interested to know how to interact more with the community so, if you guys out there have any useful tips how the new comer who's kinda looking from outside, wanting to know more, please let me know :P
