General | Posted 10 years agoSo I know a few of you are still waiting for your commissions, and I apologize for that, I'm not usually this slow with them!
However, I've been pushing myself too hard overall with art, school and now my job.
I've done what I can all the way up until needing to use my brace with my splint because my wrist is so screwed up it was bothersome to my forearm to even wiggle my fingers, so I needed a little break.
THEN got cooped up in a car with my sick sister, wake up the next day with the sickness myself.
My head feels like lead and I just wanna have it propped on something all the time.
I just wanted to give you a heads up.
As soon as I recover I will go full blast on your commissions and get them out!
Sorry for keeping you waiting and hope you guys can forgive me! T__THnnnng...Birthdays.

General | Posted 10 years agoSo classes started today. I was hoping that I'd only need ONE book for four classes...
turns out that's not the case. One book per class AND the one that's used in all four.
....I have...no monies. Just used the last of what I had to buy the parking permit for the semester.
On top of that I need cat food and litter liners. YAY.
SO. Going to get these images out that have been ordered and try to throw out more because books.

I FIGURED OUT WHAT WAS WRONG!
Turns out it WAS a case fan... just one I had turned a blind eye to.
Only because it was NEVER on in the past. Not once has it been on since I built this PC.
All of a sudden it's like.. "Hi! I want to try to work!" So...since it's never actually been on...
I just unplugged it, now all the noise is gone! Hurray!
Now I can stop stressing about THAT....
NOW...I can focus more on more arts Q - QUhmm...? What?
General | Posted 10 years agoSo.. in the process of my rearranging my room, something happened. Lol.
Go figure.
I opened my computer to clean it up, everything looked fine.
Booted it up, it ran great... then started whining. WOOT.
I've so far come to the conclusion that it's not the case fans, nor the video card.
So that leaves me with the hard drive(doubt), the CPU or the power supply.
I'm leaning more towards the power supply...so I'm gonna be needing to get that replaced ASAP.
Now..funding..help me jeebus.

General | Posted 10 years agoSo, things have gotten better.
Only thing holding me back at the moment is I'm currently re-organizing my room, and my stupid cheap desk is falling apart, so... I'm using wood glue to hold it together, on it's side..
so I'm deskless at the moment while it dries, which for some reason takes a while.
But once I get that back on it's feet and finish moving stuff around in my room I'll catch up on work!Commissions open for a bit.

He was in a playful mood and I hadn't noticed it, so...
when I went to pick him up he swiped me, cut me decently right at the base of my thumb where it curves up to connect to the rest of my hand...
also got his claw stuck in my thumb at the end of it...
so, I'm still trying to work on images, just a little slower now cuz it hurts to hold my pen.

General | Posted 11 years agoOkay so...sorry for being MIA people. First off, I've gotten the school situation settled finally, and that's on the roll and whatnot.
HOWEVER...
My mother was recently trying to claim me on her taxes, aaaand guess what? I'm now a victim of identity theft.
SO. Now I have to do all this work with the IRS to get everything settled, I don't even know how someone got my information, it's really annoying.
ON TOP of that, my sister's getting married on Wednesday, and it's also causing more stress and drama with the family...so I'm trying to get things settled!
I just wanted people to know what's going on if you were curious as to what's taking so long...
But little by little things are being accomplished...Updates updates updates!

Currently school started for me Tuesday(yesterday), so I've been trying to get things ready for the semester, getting my books and all that jazz.
I'm going to be talking all graphic arts classes this semester so...yay being on a computer 24/7! Lol.

After I finish up with my remaining commissions I'll be opening em up.
They'll be $3 for flats and $5 for shaded 800x800 with a resized 100x100 for your icon. :D

I have an image made that has each individual available layer that came with the pack, and I'll be releasing that once I get commissions knocked out the way. I'll also be able to do mostly any ears/hairstyle/accessories/etc that you'd want (if you want an icon, that is). So just keep an eye out for those!
ALSO. If you'd want like...an additional lil chat bubble with like an emoticon in it or something, I can add those as well! ^-^

General | Posted 11 years agoOkay so, TOMORROW I shall be back on the ball and working on commissions. Got to take my mom home from the hospital and have been taking care of her myself so it's at least made me feel better. Now the task at hand is getting her to continue to take her meds and drinking her fluids so she doesn't dehydrate...hah. Just wanted to let you guys know that things are getting better!

General | Posted 11 years agoI just wanted to let you guys know I haven't had a chance to start all of your commissions yet. My mom recently got a Reux-En-Y, and after the surgery she's been having a hard time breathing and throwing up a lot of blood. It's been keeping my mind out of the creativity zone and I'm just constantly worrying and thinking of the worst. Don't want to be working under those conditions so I'm waiting for the weekend when we hear good news on my mother's progression. Again, I apologize and I will get to those commissions asap...
