Art Pack Poll Results
Posted 5 years agoOh, hello again.
Just a quick journal update to announce the winner of the art pack poll. With 35.9% of the votes, Pokegirls have been chosen as the theme for the pack. Thank you to everyone who contributed their votes. Please look forward to the pack when it's been completed. And who knows, if this goes well, I might do something like this again in the future with one of the runner ups...

December Greetings
Posted 5 years agoHello all. It's the beginning of a new month, so let me borrow your attention for a brief moment.
Something I've been wanting to do for a while is one of those "pay what you want" art packs. I think it would be a fun little project to work on and bring to life a few (lewd) ideas I've had sitting around waiting for an opportunity to be properly finished. I do have a lot of potential scenarios in mind, but rather than trying to randomly decide on what to include, I figured why not let the public decide what my focus should be.
I've set up a twitter poll with the available options and I'd greatly appreciate if you'd leave your vote. I've narrowed it down to four subjects: Splatoon, Pokegirls, Touhou characters, or to disregard them all and do some OC stuff. You've got a full week to cast your vote, and whichever option wins will get a 10-ish page collection of artwork featuring Big Anime Circles™.
I'll provide more details about this pack once the topic has been chosen. I'm also open to feedback, so if there's anything you'd like to mention or suggest, please feel free to let me know. Thanks again for your time and I hope you all enjoy the rest of the holidays!

Let's talk updates
Posted 5 years agoI'm sure it's no surprise that I've not been very active lately. There's been some complications I've had to deal with these last few months, ranging from technical issues to personal ones. I don't feel it necessary to go into details, but just know that I am planning on changing up a few things.
No, I am not quitting or anything. I'm still planning to post, however I will be moving away from doing commissions as much. I would like to be able to prioritize on personal stuff a bit more and I don't feel like I'm able to juggle multiple projects without creating an unpleasant situation for commissioners. I don't want to completely cut off commissions as an option, so going forward, I'll be opening limited time slots occasionally when I feel that I can.
Also I finally got around to creating a Twitter for posting art. If you want, you can follow me here: https://twitter.com/VioFOIL
I've never really been one for social media, but I'll be trying to post my work more often, both on Twitter and here. I still haven't decided how to handle commission requests/updates, but I suppose I could also accept Twitter DMs whenever a slot becomes available. As you can tell, a lot of this is still very open to change and I'm not entirely concrete in my plans going forward, but I feel like this should at least give me a foundation to build upon. I'll probably end up tweeting updates first, so if you want to be informed sooner, I'd follow there.
There's still a lot of other ideas and plans I'm mulling over regarding where I want to take things, but I'll get into that later. I'm kinda indecisive on a lot so I'll end this here for now. Thank you again to those who have put up with me for all this time. I appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time out of your day to like and follow my work. Stay safe, my fellow degenerates, and have a great day.

Returning to normal commissions soon
Posted 6 years agoReturning back to the usual stuff at the end of the month. Sketches will still be an option for the time being upon request as a sort of "secret menu" thing.
Commission status: OPEN (with a twist)
Posted 6 years agoBack from vacation and ready to reopen commissions, though I'd like to try something different for a bit.
Well it's not entirely new, but I'd like to try offering sketch commissions again. I've neglected to have them as part of my offerings due to complications and such, but let's just try it for a bit and see how things go, yeah?
The big thing to take away from this is, I'm going to be limiting commissions exclusively to sketches for about a month or so just so I can get a feel for how I want to handle them and see if you lot are happy with them. I'll be pricing sketches at a base cost of $15 for a single character and $7.50 for any additional characters. I'll also be increasing commission slots during this time because why not.
Apologies if you're dead set on ordering full color stuff from me. I'll bring the other options back soon, I promise. For those looking for discounted rates for a bit and don't mind the rougher look of my sketchwork, now would be the time to take advantage of me and my potentially poor decision making.
Thanks for reading.

Commission status: Temporarily on hold (again)
Posted 6 years agoWill be out of town for a bit (big surprise, I know). Slots will open back up shortly after the beginning of August.
I want to try and do something a bit different for a little while. Not necessarily content-wise, but a bit of an experiment in handling commissions. Will give updates once I get back.

Reducing commission slots
Posted 7 years agoI'll be dropping my available commissions slots from the usual three down to one for an unspecified amount of time. I've got another gig coming up that'll be eating into my availability, so my turnaround time on deliveries might be a bit slower going forward. I'm not closing shop, but I don't like to keep people waiting for unreasonable periods of time for updates.
I'll let you all know if things change in the future. Thank you all for your support and understanding.

k we back
Posted 7 years agoEVO was fun.
Upcoming absence
Posted 7 years agoI'll be out of town from July 30th to August 6th, so I won't be available to check my notes during this time. If you'd like to send a commission inquiry, do feel free, but I won't be able to respond until I return. Thanks and have a great day!
Feed me feedback
Posted 8 years agoThough this isn't the first time I've set up shop here (2011 was a hell of a time), it has been nearly an entire year since I opened up commissions and focused on working consistently and seriously on them. I like doing what I do and I'm happy to have a group of fellow degenerates who enjoy my work as well.
Before anyone gets the wrong idea, no, I am not stopping commissions. I'm opening this journal up for some discussion as I would really like to hear from my followers/clients in regards to the content I've been producing. I'm not looking for reaffirmation or head pats, this isn't a guise to get praise or compliments. I'd like some feedback on practices and professionalism. If there's something on your mind that you'd like to share that could help me improve my processes, or even just general feedback regarding content or technical ability, please feel free to speak your mind.
Thank you again to all of my clients and supporters. I look forward to another productive year working with all of you.

Commission status: OPEN
Posted 8 years agoWe now return to your regularly scheduled lewdness.
Commission status: Resuming soon™ (8/1)
Posted 8 years agoIn which "mid-July" actually means "beginning of August".
Thanks for your patience. Degeneracy will resume shortly.

Commission status: Temporarily on hold
Posted 8 years agoI'll be taking a short break from taking any new commissions effective immediately. I've got some business which needs my attention and I would rather put a hold on commissions rather than have unexpected delays cropping up while working on a request.
Tentatively, I expect to reopen shop sometime mid-July. If anything comes up which may affect this estimated date, I will be sure to post a journal to keep everyone updated.
Thank you again to everyone who has followed and supported me so far. I'll be back into the swing of things as soon as I can.

Commissions open!
Posted 9 years agoSorry for the delay, but I am happy to announce that I have opened up commission slots once again! Before you send any notes regarding an order, please take this opportunity to review my commission information page, as I have changed a few things since last time. In any case, I'll summarize briefly here:
-Sketch commissions are no longer available for purchase. (Sorry!)
-Pricing has been adjusted for lineart and colored pieces.
-I will be sending invoices to clients for payment instead of accepting Paypal money transfers. Because of this, I will be asking clients for e-mail information after confirming their rough sketch.
I haven't updated my commission graphic yet, but I will be doing so soon. In the meantime, please do not reference the old graphic, as the information it displays is outdated. If you have questions or would like to place an order for artwork, please feel free to PM me.
Remember, slots are first come, first served!

>implying I've been here five years
Posted 9 years agoIt's funny because most of my journal updates are just me saying "hey btw i'm back" except it's never true. So instead of repeating myself, I'll say this: I'm gonna try to upload more often.
Oh yeah, also I'll be re-opening commissions again soon(ish). As a head's up, my current prices will be changing. I'll be updating my info page shortly to reflect this.
Here's to another five years of hilariously inconsistent updates and multiple deaths.

Commission status: CLOSED
Posted 9 years agoCommissions are closed until further notice. Sorry for any inconveniences.
If you want my body and you think I'm sexy
Posted 10 years agoI neglect this page entirely too much. I will try to update more in the future.
But hey, if you like my work and you'd like to see more of it on a semi-regular basis, do consider following my tumblr: http://first-outer-inner-last.tumblr.com/
For those who enjoy content a bit less tame, I've also got one mainly for lewd/fetishy stuff: http://rise-over-run.tumblr.com/
I'll post there first before I remember I have other places I need to submit art to, so yeah.
This dirt is cozy.

Commission status: OPEN
Posted 14 years agoEverything went according to plan, and I can happily say that I am now open for commissions! I've also taken the liberty of coming up with a little guide detailing how this all works.
Pricing guide:
Single character, colorless sketch: 10 USD (7.30 EUR)
Single character, colorless lineart: 18 USD (13.10 EUR)
Single character, full color, simple/no background: 25 USD (18.20 EUR)
- Full color + background: 30 USD (22 EUR)
Multiple characters: add 50% base cost per additional character
Multiple pages/sequences, add 75% base cost per additional page
(For multi-character/page works, everything is calculated off the base price. For example, a two page full colored + background piece featuring two characters would be priced as such: 30 USD (22 EUR) base + 15 USD (11 EUR) for one additional character + 22.50 USD (16.50 EUR) for one additional page = total of 67.50 USD (49.50 EUR))
I feel the system is flexible enough that it should cover most cases, but if something weird comes up I can always make changes. Consider this to be fairly permanent, though.
Payment methods:
Currently, I accept payments only through paypal. Please make any and all payments to delayed.entropy@gmail.com.
How to commission a piece:
In order to keep things organized, please refer to the following when commissioning me:
1) The commissioner (you) will send a note detailing the desired piece(s) they wish to have drawn. Feel free to send as much information at this point as you wish.
2) Upon receiving the note, I will then contact you through notes and attempt to gather any missing details or information I may need to complete the work.
3) Once details have been established, I will then produce a rough mock-up of your desired piece(s) and pricing is determined. If there is anything you wish to change about your order, now is the time to do it.
4) After you are satisfied with the mock-up, payment is made. At this point, I will begin working on the final product.
+ For more complex pieces, I will keep you up to date during each step of creation of the picture, allowing input as needed
5) When the work is complete, it will be sent to you as a full resolution picture (usually 2k x 2k). Unless specifically requested otherwise, I will then upload a smaller resolution version to my gallery along with your name (again, unless requested otherwise)
If I am unable to complete a piece for any reason, a full refund shall be issued.
That should cover it. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I would rather have this all sorted out as soon as possible.
Thanks for reading. Please keep in mind you will all be tested on this material later!

Hello world
Posted 14 years agoHello and welcome to my little house of horrors. The name is Vioectrolysis, but you can call me Vio for short. I've never been one for lengthy introductions, so I will try to keep this brief.
I'm a part-time student/freelance artist who's fallen upon some hard times, so in order to help make ends meet, I've decided to set up shop here in hopes of doing some commissions to afford things like food and gas. I've uploaded some example pieces to showcase what I'm capable of and possibly garner interest of the masses. At the moment, I'm not quite ready for business, as I am still new here and learning the quirks of the site.
My goal is to be ready for work no later than this upcoming week (Monday 19th to be exact). Once I've established a business plan, I shall update my journal with a pricing plan and instructions on how to commission me. I appreciate the warm reception I've received since joining the community and I hope to be able to provide quality content for both my clients and followers.
Thanks for having me. I look forward to drawing for you soon!
