IN WHICH I EXPLAIN MY EXTENDED ABSENCE
Posted 14 years agoI've had a lot of family and personal stuff going on right now, guys, and I really can't apologize enough for how long I've been away.
Getting on the internet hasn't been entirely easy, either.
BUT I figured out what I'd like to do for an education. I'm going to go to a school that'll teach me how to train service dogs and police dogs, and I think that I'd really love that.
My artwork has improved a great deal, and I'll probably put a ton of my old stuff into scraps and get rid of some old journals.
I can't promise I'll be here all the time, but I will actually be here nowadays.

I never really travel a lot for the holidays, considering that my (maternal) grandparents live with us... and my other grandmother lives in town.
We just got the tree up last week. Pretty late, huh? I was lazy this year ^__^o

So, I'm a little worried about the whole hack thing. I'm gonna lay low for a little bit, until I feel the situation is a bit safer. Until this is all cleaned up, I really don't want to post too much.

I'm really uncertain how to feel about this.
It was years ago... but at the same time, people picked on me and made my life a living hell up until the 8th grade when I moved outta town.

Who thinks that Stephen Stills was pretty darn cute in the Scott Pilgrim movie and doesn't care what Aaron thinks.
Who would rather go to a museum than go to a lot of other places.
Who reads in a time where it's rapidly becoming a thing of the past.
Who knows that Aaron is probably lurking on her page right now, but still doesn't care XD
Who ends up being funny when she's not even trying.
Who knows a fuckton of trivial things about video games.
Who owns a first edition copy of 2001: A Space Odyssey that was given to her by her father, and who quotes it whenever she feels the need to.

Posted 15 years agoForgive me for spamming this and all that whatnot... I've got a weakness for memes sometimes. To make this go more quickly, I'll do 2 days at a time; I have a lot of stuff coming up, and I don't have time to do one each day.
Things to say to 10 people
1. I haven't really kept in touch with you. I'm sorry. We should go to the mall together sometime and catch up on things... I'll try to call or IM you more often.
2. I really don't say this enough, but, I love you and I know we've all had rough times together, but you'll always be part of my family and I'll always love you.
3. Please stop calling my cell so early in the morning. I appreciate the gesture and everything, but please... it's early even for me. And I get up fairly early.
4. I wish you felt the same way about me that I feel about you :C
5. Well, you know that I'm a furry. I'm so glad that you don't hate me or judge me, and can understand that I don't take part in the sexual aspects associated with the fandom, and that I'm not like those creepers that were on the Tyra Show ;u;
6. Srsly, stop twisting the knife. The whole thing is a very emotional, painful subject for me; you shouldn't just laugh and poke fun. That's kiiiiinda being a huge asshole.

1. I enjoy being a furry. There are aspects I don't like about the fandom, and that I don't want to associate myself with, sure... but I like being part of the community. I'm glad that I'm here.
2. I have problems with anxiety, and I tend panic too quickly because of it. I'm trying to get control of it, and stop being stressed out so easily.
3. I'm thinking about starting a webcomic.
4. I've got one really big, really important dream... but I'm waiting to write about that until day 10 :3
5. I don't drink, and I never will; it's a personal choice of mine.
6. I loooove science fiction. I picked up The Andromeda Strain from the library in the 7th grade, and since then, I've been hooked.
7. I get restless really easily, and I hate being cooped up in my house.
8. Halloween is my favorite holiday.
9. I like a lot of older music... you know, like, 80's stuff. The Police, Styx, Iron Maiden... stuff like that. Of course, I enjoy modern stuff too.

OKAY. Connecticon Cosplay Ideas- HERE'S THE DEAL
Posted 15 years agoTL;DR- I need to stop coming up with shitloads of cosplays I want to do... the convention's only 3 days long, and I have tons of ideas. Only a few are definite.
It's early to think about this stuff, considering that CTcon's usually in mid-July, but I like to get a head start on this kinda stuff. ANYWAY, these are the ideas I've got so far:
Freya Crescent (Final Fantasy IX)- This one's a definite. I'm gonna try my hardest on the costume and everything, so I want to practice with the sewing machine before I start working.

I've decided to go back to DA somewhat. Well, not really.
I'm still going to be spending the brunt of my time here on FA, but in the meantime I'll crosspost a thing or two over to DA... and maybe once and a while I'll put up something completely new.
I could never really even imagine leaving FA... I mean, this is where I really began my whole artistic career on teh interwebs. Furry is one of the subcultures I fit right in with. The thing is, I need a place to show my stuff to non-fur friends who don't wanna be waylaid by all the weirdness associated with the fandom.
