I have moved/ Can I actually delete this account?
Posted 11 years agoHello everyone,
I know it has been a while, but I have returned, just moved to a new page. A fresh start, you know?
But if you'd like to contact me, or watch me again, then my new page is
aurasoft-creations
Can anyone tell me if I can permanently delete this page? Or even any of the submissions on this page?
Thanks guys, I hope to speak to you on my new account :)

Inactivity/ Back in business!
Posted 12 years agoHello and a big happy new year to everyone! (Belated I know...)
Recently with Christmas and New year, I have been extremely busy with family and friends, and have had hardly any time to catch up with my websites and journals. But i'd like to say that this year i'm here to stay! And hopefully make my own business rather then slave away in retail and work full time for the rest of my life.
So basically this journal is to say that my shoe business is BACK in business! However, when it comes to my other artwork such as tribals, digital pictures and even the traditional stuff, I shall no longer be working on any of those as commissions. Sorry :( But the shoes are what I am very interested in and will continue to do those for the foreseeable future.
I am currently trying to change my usename to Aurasoft creations as this is how I am known on other websites, and would like this to be the case on this one also.
Really, this page will be treated more of a shop then a watcher base where I favourite others artwork. I will also be clearing my watchers list (*Sad face*) but I really need to concentrate on orders and valid queries/notes that people may have about the products that I will be selling. Not to say I won't talk to anyone on here! I'm still friendly!
So, here's to my return in the business, and I must say I couldn't have done it without you guys. I give a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout last year, and I really hope you all will continue to support me through this year and many years to come!
Thank you to everyone, and look out for more updates soon!

Ebay auctions DS games + Apologies for inactivity
Posted 12 years agoHey everyone ^^
Apologies for being inactive.. again D: The last few weeks have been rather busy in my life, and so will the next few weeks to come :( Now full time at work, and getting a promotion, so its not all bad, however this leaves hardly any time for myself anymore. My days are spent with my wonderful partner <3 Or if he's at work, then its all about Skyrim! XD; Yeah I need to organise my time into something more constructive :/ Though even then, we have to move out because of our landlord, and our room mate screwing us over... Its not the greatest time of the year to be doing this, but we have no choice.. so time is spent on looking at houses and trying to move desperately...
Anyway, hopefully you'll see some activity from me soon when I get back into the swing of things, but just remember, I am still doing commissions, especially as Christmas is just around the corner!
Also, talking about Christmas, want really cheap DS games/presents? Or just a gift for yourself? I'm selling a few old DS games here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/aurasoftc.....;_trksid=p3686
If anyone is interested, they all start at 99p!
Happy bidding!

Custom Canvas Shoes: FAQ
Posted 12 years agoQuite a few people have had a lot of interest in these shoes, and quite a lot of queries about them as well, which I am happy to answer all individual questions ^^ But for those who would like more information about the shoes in general, this will be an FAQ about everything that I can think of which would be relevant for everyone interested in my work. So, if you have the time to read, enjoy!
Q: What type of shoes will you paint?
A: Basically any type of shoes with a canvas material. For example, Converse's are the most famous brand for making this material popular, along with Vans who took the style of shoe to a different perspective. The default brand of shoe that I use is called Lee Cooper, which is basically a cheaper version of Converse. These shoes are available in high and low tops.
We will however be experimenting with different materials e.g plastic, synthetic etc to try and widen our choices of shoe and variety for everyone, so keep watching out for new stock!
Q: How much are your custom painted shoes?
A: This will vary between each brand. Because as I mentioned in the previous question I use Lee Cooper shoes, I am able to buy these at a base price of £8.99 - £12.99. This allows me to sell the finished product at an average of £40 a pair.
If however you're a big brand kinda guy (Or gal :3) and want either Converse's or Vans, the average price will go up to around £70 a pair.
A more detailed price guideline list is below.
Lee Cooper
Low Tops: £25 - £40
High Tops: £30 - £50
Converse + Vans
Low Tops - £45 - £70
High Tops - £55 - £80
Knee High - £80 - £120
If you are interested in a more precise price however, as every custom shoe is different from the last, please feel free to note me for an estimation.
Q: How long do the shoes last?
A: A good question, as i'm sure many of you would be worried that the paint will peel and crack over time. Luckily, and surprisingly, this is not the case. The shoe itself is very flexible due to the canvas material, and even with the Lee Cooper shoes, they are built to last, and as comfortable as Converse. When painted, the paint is absorbed by the canvas material, and so this holds most of the colour without the need for a layer of paint. With the paint being quite flexible as well, this stops the cracking process, however nothing can completely protect it from this natural occurrence. Unfortunately, after time, the paint will fade/crack, though at the rate of a normal shoe wearing out. We try to reduce this as much as possible by spraying the shoes before shipping, with a protective water resistant coating, as well as varnish if needed.
Q: Are the shoes suitable in bad weather e.g Rain, snow etc?
A: I can safely say that, despite being canvas shoes, and known for not being waterproof in rain, these shoes are made to last. After painting, the shoes are coated in water resistant spray, and because the paint is waterproof as well, this gives the entire shoe a great deal of protection when worn in the rain. Snow i'm afraid i'm not sure, we dont get snow that often (If at all. Its pathetic amounts really XD).
Q: How do I look after these shoes? Can they be put in the washing machine?
A: I have not experimented with a washing machine, and to be fair I have never put my shoes in a washing machine XD As expected, these shoes are going to be delicate, and must be treated with great care. They are quite hard wearing, but of course the fading process cannot be removed completely. I suggest wearing the shoes for best, however if wanting to wear regularly, use a water resistant spray (Found in all good shoe retailers and hardware stores) before wearing the shoes (usually takes 5-10 minutes to dry). Even when not wearing the shoes, I suggest spraying them once every couple of weeks, to build up the protective layer that it offers. This greatly increases the life of the shoes, not just the paintwork, but the entire shoe in general.
If dirty from outdoor use, a wet cloth should be sufficient for getting rid of small marks or mud. Soapy water is also advised for slightly more stubborn stains, however always use a soft cloth, NOT a scourer of some kind. This will scrub off the protective layer and may get to the paint as well.
Q: I dont live in the UK, do you ship worldwide?
A: Yes, I do. I will not turn down a sale if they're not in the UK.
P&P is always worked out after the shoes have been completed, i'm afraid i'm not sure of postage calculations.
Q: I would like several pairs of shoes. Do you offer discount?
A: Of course! All orders are appreciated, multiple ones even more so!
Bulk buy is advised if you'd like to buy several pairs, however, if you are a repeat customer, coming back for another pair of shoes, we will also consider discount.
Loyalty cards may be considered in the future (e.g. Buy 5 pairs of shoes, get a 6th pair 50% off! Buy 9, get 10th free!)
Q: Will you do an Art Trade for a pair of shoes?
A: Unfortunately no. This is a growing business for me, and pays for my rent, so i'm afraid it will be kept as money payments only.
Q: How do you deal with transactions?
A: I only accept paypal for any transactions.
When ordering a pair of shoes, a deposit for the cost of the shoes base price will be required. E.g. Lee Cooper are average £10, so the deposit will be £10. The rest of the money will be required after the shoes are completed and a photo uploaded to this account to make sure everything is okay. Once checked, and payment received for both the work and the P&P, the shoes will be sent.
Please note that when a deposit is made, it will be non-refundable.
And thats all I can think of! Of course if there are any more questions, please feel free to ask me!

Canvas Shoe Commissions OPEN
Posted 12 years agoHey everyone ^^
Must say sorry for the recent inactivity, but now i'm fully active with new custom canvas shoes! As many watchers may have seen, I have been customising shoes with acrylic paint to make them fully unique to the wearer! This started off as a small experiment, but has now become something that I would like to do for the far future.
Eventually I would like to quit my job in retail for good to start perusing my own little business, this being it. Would certainly appreciate any support from friends and fellow artists ^-^
Interested in getting a pair of personally customised shoes? Click the link for more details - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10842101/
Or alternatively, feel free to drop me a note for a quote! No obligation to buy. If you're just curious on how much a pair would be with a particular design, I will happily give anyone an estimate.

Posted 12 years agoHey everyone ~
Must say a big apologie for being very inactive as of the last few weeks. This is die to me getting a full time job again (Hooray!) though it is rather shit with a manager that doesn't even seem like he knows how to run a business (Yay?) and is being sued all over the place (........)
Yeah, wish I knew all this before actually choosing this job over another full time job I could have gone for *Sigh*
Nevermind. Despite all that, even if this job ties me over for the next few months, I get to actually move out now with the love of my life. The sweetest most kindest guy in the world <3 Yes I know all this lovey dovey shit is enough to make anyone spew their guts out that have never experienced love before. But finally I realise how good life can really be when you have someone you love by your side <333333 Yaaaaaaay lovey shit!
Because of this, moving stuff around has been.. well, annoying. My computer has been stuck at my parents god bless its little hard drive, and I have hated every moment apart from it, especially when i've been getting back into art for a while now. I dont want that to shlump into nothingness again :/ Sooooo this is why I have been inactive. No photoshop to edit pictures and shizzle, and trust me, there are now a lot to edit lol
Now, bad news about not having any time anymore is that I have to close ALL crochet Commissions. I'm terribly sorry, but they just take up far too much time, and I have no interest for them any more. If anything watch out for pokemon/other video game characters that I may crochet and sell, but that is it i'm afraid. No customs :( Sorry, I dont like doing this, but for my own sanity (Or whatever is fucking left of it) i cannot mindlessly crochet all night on a project that i'm not even remotely interested in....
Wow i've been watching too much zero punctuation lately. Swear i'm becoming as cynical and negative as they guy who does those videos. Never the less i'm a happy little chicken for easter. Enjoy! <33

FAQ
Can you make a crochet doll of my fursona?
Of course! In fact I will just about attempt anything when it comes to crochet. Not only does it help improve my own skill, i'd certainly like a challenge and to broaden my skills rather then attempting Pokemon all the time.
What are your crochet's made from?
In most cases, they're all made from 100% acrylic wool, though in some cases where a colour doesn't fit, I sometimes purchase cashmere wool online. If there is a preferred wool you'd rather have however, please don't hesitate to ask. Many smaller details are cut from felt and then sewn on, which can be seen in most of my dolls' eyes. Even finer details liks pupils and light spots are then painted on with acrylic paint. Some dolls may contain small parts such as craft eyes, and plastic noses for wolves etc. So please take this into consideration if this doll will be around small children.
How many items can I order from you?
As many as you like! There isn't a limit, i'll even do bulk orders of crochet dolls (Though in this case they'd all have to be the same character. For an example, I have made 4 Mew's just in different colours for a bulk order). When it comes to bulk orders, discounts may even be given depending on how many are ordered. Give me a note and i'll give you an estimate, again with no obligation to buy!
Is it okay to use your tribal work for a watermark
So long as it's a piece that you have bought, yes. Of course when you buy something, the piece is completely yours! You can use it as you wish, recolour it, use it in another image, use as a background, whichever! So when uploading your commission, it will have my watermark on it HOWEVER if requested I can send via email the original file without my watermark, and without a background also so that you can edit as you please.
If there are any other questions about my commissions, please don't hesitate to ask ^^ I'll happily answer anything!

Tribal Commissions
Posted 13 years agoOpening up commissions for anyone who would be interested in me drawing absolutely anything in my style of drawing :) It can be of a favourite animal, perhaps a game character, a beloved pet, or a fan made character! The choices are endless, and I shall attempt anything asked of me.
So! How much would it be to get a commission you may be asking? Well, all depends upon the complexity of the creature/character. Examples will be shown below :3
Pokemon - £5
Mew - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9863855/
Charmander - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9855921/
Headshots - £5 - £7 - Headshots can include any character, be it a Sonic Fan Character, My little pony, or a completely original anime styled character. All depending on complexity of the image, prices will be more expensive.
Dragon Head - £6 - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9864536/
Full Body - £7 - £10 - Again depending on complexity of character will determine the price. Also price will also be affected if a background colour/gradient is required, as well as additional items other then the character such as trees etc. This is why the hummingbird would be more expensive.
Griffin - £7 - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9863466/
Hummingbird - £8 - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9435573/
Please do not hesitate to ask about buying a commission. Even if you'd like just an estimate on your character, dont be shy! ^^

January - The Month of.....?
Posted 13 years agoHappiness and prosperity! ..... Anyway XD I hope everyone had a brilliant new year! ^^ I know that I did... <3 Best new year I could ever hope to have.
But yeah, january... time for that new start and fresh feeling again where we all make new years resolutions last for about a month before forgetting them :3 But I hope to continue mine, as I have a huge motivation to do it ^^ So.. whats new for me?
The urge to move out desperately, and to turn my life around. No longer do I want to be the retail sales assistant stuck in a rut with nothing else better to do and no ways to express talent in the graphic design field... I need to get out! And so, i'm not going to be a lazy bum anymore and get bored with things so easily. In which case, i'm starting up Crochet commissions again HOWEVER for the moment I shall be making a few things myself to just sell to anyone who desires to buy them. These will mostly involve pokemon, however I shall begin to crochet my little ponies, adventure time characters, and eventually move on to all popular game series' once I feel good enough to do them. SO! Please watch out for any crochet dolls in the future because they will all be for sale!
I may or may not start doing clay models again. They are tricky as fuck, but at the same time I did enjoy doing them when I was going through that stage. Just need to sit myself down and do one one day I guess lol
Anyway... Gonna go into more 'commission detail' on crochet models now. Ignore if you want if you're not interested, but I hope some people will be!
Crochet Commissions
If anyone is interested in me doing a crochet doll for you, then please don't hesitate to drop me a note! However there are a few things to consider first...
- I will try to attempt anything you ask of me, though the complexity of the model will require more time for me to accomplish, therefore will be more expensive the more complex something is.
- All orders will require a 50% deposit. This is for the amount of orders last year I accomplished and were then deemed useless as the commissioner no longer wanted to buy. I do not want to be messed around and waste hours/days of my time on an order when I could be working on someone else's. Please be serious when buying. This deposit is non-negotiable.
- An estimate price of the doll will be given once all specifications are met. When ordering, please give a detailed description of what you want (character wise), a reference sheet if not several if possible, and also size specification. I will try to go as large as anyone wants me to, however price will go up considerably for dolls which span over a metre long.
- If you have an order out standing, please give enough time for it to be made. Crochet can be a lengthy process, and with work as well, I dont have much time to do them (Though I will do my utmost to complete orders within a week of obtaining them.) Larger orders can take up to a month, so please be patient! I will message from time to time to give an estimate of where i'm up to, and when the doll will be finished.
So! Are you interested in a commission? Please don't hesitate to ask! If there is any questions about these commissions as well, ask away and all will be answered :)

CROCHET DOLLS FOR AUCTION ON EBAY!
Posted 13 years agohttp://myworld.ebay.co.uk/viprette?.....p2047675.l2559
This is now my new eBay account :3 Purty aint it? XD I am selling a few pokemon crochet dolls that didn't sell when I put them onto here for a set price, and so I have started off an auction for 4 of them, starting at 99p (Except the large Shiny Mew I did, for that i'd rather have more then that lol)
So! Need a gift for Christmas? Any of the pokemon listed there your favourite or a friends favourite? Go ahead and bid! You never know, they could be really cheap.. maybe XD
I'll make a list of links leading directly to some of them here rather then going straight to my page XD
Large Shiny Mew: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Large-Shi.....p;cmd=ViewItem
Mewtwo: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mewtwo-Po.....p;cmd=ViewItem
Charmander: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Charmande.....p;cmd=ViewItem
Squirtle: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Squirtle-.....item4abf3db647
I would also really appreciate anyone who could advertise this for me also! Would be nice for one of these, being my first auction and all, for them to be good ones! XD Thank you for reading!

Digital Commissions 1 SLOT ONLY!
Posted 13 years agoAfter much consideration, and with my job having cut my hours, I thought that I should put my time to good use and try and make a wittle money D: XD So! I shall be starting digital commissions, but I will only have ONE slot open AT A TIME. This is mainly for my own sake, I don't want to get myself bogged down with loads of orders, and then eventually get bored (Since that's what happened with the crochet orders, eventually got bored since I had 3 going at once, and total inspiration loss :/ That's why they took so long, unfortunately D: )
So it'll be a first come first serve thing. Though once one commission is done, and if I enjoyed it, I will OPEN them again, but still only to one slot.
Right then, better put up prices XD Although please be aware, these will only be a guideline and rough estimate. Depending on complexity of the character, it may be a little more. But I still hope quite cheap :P XD
Lineart - £3
Example - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8955228/
(With example, 2 characters would effectively cost more, but probably second character would be at £2)
Example - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8939661/
(Again, with sketch, would fully lineart digitally on photoshop, rather then pen like with this one XD Would be completely smooth, so almost a bad example really... was all I got D: XD)
Digital Colouring - £7 - £15
Am basing the lower amount on speedpainting, examples will be shown below.
Example - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9225289/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9246471/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9265317/
Examples with simple backgrounds, and took under 2 hours to complete would be £7.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9298591/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9298988/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9306064/
Even these examples with slightly more detailed backgrounds will still stick at £7, its only a photoshop brush after all XD
Example of more detailed drawing - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8314245/
Because of the high detail e.g the scales, the lava lines etc this particular piece would be placed within the £12 - 15 range.
Again, all pictures will be estimated on first reference, and upon the final completion of the picture. All customers will be required to put down a 50% deposit on the first estimated price (Unfortunately had trouble with payment before, so had to implement this, sorry :( But this will also guarantee me doing it. I don't want to seem like i'm stealing money XD)
Things I will draw!
Interested in having one, but not sure if I could break away from pokemon/furry art? I welcome anything that challenges me, and so dont be afraid to ask me to do something different, as I will try my utmost. The only thing i'm not too comfortable with yet is porn. I will draw a cuddle scene, but nothing explicit. This may change in the future, but for the moment, an unfortunate no to that.
So! If you're interested in having a commission, please feel free to drop me a note, and we can have a nice little chat :) XD
So it'll be a first come first serve thing. Though once one commission is done, and if I enjoyed it, I will OPEN them again, but still only to one slot.

Example - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9225289/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9246471/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9265317/
Examples with simple backgrounds, and took under 2 hours to complete would be £7.

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9298988/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9306064/

Pokemon/General Art Challenge
Posted 13 years agoHey everyone :3 Thought I might update this one, has been a wee while ~
Well, to anyone who knows me really well, my attention span is very, very short D: With the crochet for example, go mad with it for about a month, then get bored. Before that I was getting into creating clay models, then got bored. I try and stop this from happening by challenging myself to challenges. I've taken a loooong break from doing digital artwork for quite some time, but now I thought I'd take a practice at speedpainting, and slowly have brought myself back to digital painting again, hence all the pokemon speedpaints at the moment.
I'm not sure why, but pokemon always seems to bring me out of an art block of any kind. Maybe its because I love them so much, and there's so much you can do with their elemental abilities. Ooo look at me, I'm getting all technical o: XD
So, yeah... this is my challenge towards myself, and for those who haven't already guessed, its (trying) to speedpaint every single pokemon in existence. What is it now.. like 649 or something? o.o It seems impossible... but i'd be glad to achieve the first 50 to be honest.... But! I really feel motivated to do this! Though speedpainting is becoming slower and slower for some reason... Venasaur so far has gone over the 3 hour mark I swear, but so long as i'm enjoying it, thats the main thing right? .... Right? XD
And thats not the only challenge.... My challenge is to do a pokemon a day! If not 2! ... This is going to be impossible.....
Pokemon so far:
Bulbasaur: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9225289/
Ivysaur: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9229675/
Butterfree: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9222993/
Quilava: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9218208/
Should be doing it in order as well, just Quilava and Butterfree started me off XD So! Look out for a lot of pokemon fan art! Oh... and if anyone would like a pokemon 'nudged' forward on the list... Well... whats in it for me? ;P XD
Love to all! ~
