Commissions Closed + Info
General | Posted 13 years agoHey guys. Just to say that i'm currently closing commissions due to me getting a new job! Now at first this would have been a good thing, but for the moment its overworking like crazy! Was only supposed to be 4 hours of a Saturday. At first, a teeny amount, but even when I started, I ended up doing the whole week on overtime because they were so short staffed. Sure, the money is very good, but I was only looking for something part time so that I could continue my artwork on here for people :/ So, because of that, current commissions have become very slow moving (Though the 3 I currently have only have tiny details to be done now, should be finished by the end of today, SHOULD).
So, once i've done the three commissions I currently have, i'll only be opening 1 slot at a time, so i'll only have one crochet to do at a time.
It also doesnt help that minecraft has updated on the xbox to have creative mode on and that i'm playing it whenever I have free time *Shot*
Anywaaaaay.... List time!
Current Commissions
Serperior Crochet - 99% Complete (Sew on mouth and nostril detail)
Typhlosion Crochet - 85% (Crochet fire on back)
Freya Fursona Crochet - 99% (Sew on eyelashes)

Commission List Update + Challenge ME! O:
General | Posted 13 years agoGo on.. I dare you.. o: XD
Well, I like to be challenged, all in the aid of helping me improve. So whether it be a crochet doll, or a sketch, I want you to challenge me! Obviously there will be some limits to what I will do e.g. for a challenge I will only do official characters so that I may sell the piece afterwards. Any OC's and fursona's need to be bought by the owner (Which anyone is welcome to commission from me, just no requests please XD)
Of course, commission pieces come first so if I have a list, challenges will need to be pushed back.
........Anything else I need to mention..... I've started needle felting now so watch out for some little models of those :3 XD

General | Posted 13 years agoHey to everyone :) Its been a while since i've done a personal entry, so thought i'd update my life a little XD
As the title says, I am now unemployed, but by my own hand. As a few people know, I worked for Primark for nearly 3 years, and towards the end of that period, I started to worry for my own health and mostly emotional well being. Never before in my life would I have ever said that I had been depressed, or would ever think i'd be depressed ever. Unfortunately it started to go down that road. Cut a long story short, aside from many many tearful nights and not going anywhere career wise, feeling unappreciated and tossed around like a slave, I quit. I had enough. To me life is about being happy, and despite the money every month, I wasn't happy at work, at all. So quitting has been the best move i've ever done in my book :)
Sooo.. as well as looking for another job, i've started working solely on what I love to do most. My artwork. I know, i've let it drop, and whenever i've done commissions before, I may have been a bit lazy, or they've been delayed by weeks at a time. But now i've all the time in the world, and i'm using it to, you could say, start my own business as an online shop :3
If you are interested at all in any of my artwork's or crochet doll's, then please look at the list below ^^
Thank you for your time in reading this <3

Commission Information
Crochet Dolls[/u]
All dolls are made from 100% Acrylic wool, and can be personalised with coloured felt, and coloured cotton thread for finer details. If you would like a different wool e.g. cashmire for a better quality finish and softer feel, please state this in a note of your request, however please note that the price will increase.
Postage and packaging is NOT included in the price. It shall be calculated after the requested doll is complete.
Small Doll - £5-£12
Varying between 10 - 15cm tall, simple design, not many colours.
Example shown for £5 (Zingy Doll) - http://sonartic.deviantart.com/art/.....76219&qo=4
Example shown for £10 (Mew Doll) - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8471328/
Example shown for £12 (Jigglypuff Doll) - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8471303/
Please note more colours will increase the price.
Medium Doll - £10 - £25
Varying between 20 - 40 cm tall, more complex designs and more colours will cost more.
Example shown (Fursona Doll) - £15 - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8766988/
Example shown (Abra Doll) - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8804061/
Example shown (Fursona Doll) - £20 - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8803934/
Large Dolls - £30+
Varying in size, these can be larger replicas of characters, or in certain cases life size dolls of pokemon etc.
No examples yet, however as a rough estimate, a life size doll of a Pikachu would be £30, whereas life size of a Growlithe would be £100 (Dog sized doll).
All costings depend on time making doll, how many colours are used, and how complex the design is. I will happily attempt any doll design given to me, so don't be put off by the many pokemon examples :XD:
Tattoo Designs[/u]
All tattoo designs will be sketched, uploaded, then if necessary, changed/improved when photoshopping the final design.
Example Shown - £5 (Husky) - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8803752/
Example Shown - £3 (Raichu, this one hasn't been cleaned up properly in photoshop. The lines are still jagged, only the levels have been tampered with to darken the picture.) - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8270707/
Larger tattoo designs and more complex designs e.g. animal with background, will increase the price, however none shall border over the £20 mark.
For the moment, digital and traditional artwork will not be for sale, only because the inspiration has gone from me to do that stuff. I shall update this journal frequently with new ideas. E.g. Soon to learn needle felting, will get back into clay models etc.

Review - The Amazing Spiderman
General | Posted 13 years agoSometimes, I like to give reviews on films i've seen :3 When i'm bored and have nothing else to do XD So!
The Amazing Spiderman... and not as amazing as the trailers and all the hype makes it out to be. Sure, i'll admit there are a lot of times that the film really pulls you into it, especially the web slinging scenes where you take a 1st person view through Peter Parker's eyes. Those scenes I find amazing. I also love the new Peter Parker. A lot cooler then the old one, and gets straight into having a sarcastic cocky attitude that gets him into trouble. Who doesn't like a smart sarcastic witty guy? He's fun to joke around with.. but unfortunately, I find that with this film there isn't enough emotional sides to the story to really draw you into the whole film.
To start off, Uncle Ben's death was hardly anything to cry about. Heck even Aunt May didn't seem all too distraught when it happened. It all happened so quickly. In fact, in the film everything seems to happen too quickly (Aside from the first hour which really seemed to drag...).
An annoyance was certainly Peter Parker's grumpy teenager side... its enough to have to deal with them in everyday life, not to then see one moody on screen. Then suddenly, personality switch! Back comes the witty teenager busting up guys in search for his Uncle's murderer, which is over extremely quickly when finally the Lizard makes his greatly anticipated entrance. What a bummer that was.. The lizard as I remember from the early cartoons, just seemed to be a lot cooler, and more of a mad scientist guy rather then a man, covered in scales. The overall design of the lizard itself is sloppy.. its literally a man, with scales, and a tail. No nicely rounded pointed snout, and no overcoat! I always remember the lizard wearing his lab overalls. Here we have this naked man-reptile... It was just an overall downer really... When I know many were looking forward to his entrance.
If they made this film just so Spiderman could fit into the avengers... they need to remake this film YET again. Even the older Peter Parker had more heart pulling emotion than this guy... however that is probably down to the poor story writers only wanting an action packed film, rather then an emotional storyline... that makes sense. LESS ACTION!
