Suggestions for new Pen Display?
Posted 3 years agoI am thinking of buying a new pen display, because I want to start drawing digitally again, and my current one is broken since 2nd of April of this year (the screen is always black and does not recognize its pen or my mouse's cusor anymore, but my computer still recognizes its USB port).
My broken pen display is a Wacom Cintiq 16, but I'm uncertain if I ought to replace it with a new Cintiq 16.
Do you have any suggestions which pen displays I should take a look on? Which one are you using/have you used and how is/was your experience with it?

Thinking of opening Requests
Posted 4 years agoI am currently thinking of opening Requests. In my current situation, I am unable to charge for money for the art that I make. (Not to mention, it's not worth it from my point of view)
The idea behind opening Requests is that I have something to be more present, to have regular practice. And to see, if I can work with other people.
I would greatly appreciate any thoughts from you on this topic.

Reminder for myself
Posted 5 years agoI’m writing this journal as a personal reminder for myself, so that I’ll remembered that I have dozens of characters – actually a whole fictional world - I want to share with others. But I cannot expect that this will be achieved over night. There is so much to learn, so much to explore, so many mistakes to make, until I get where I want to be.
I've been trying to learn to draw for 9 years, mostly because of my craving for knowledge that I couldn't apply, I became impatient and frustrated. I don't want to fall into the same pitfalls again and again. From now on I want to do it differently, slowly and with smaller goals. To continue what I’ve started.
Things I wanna finish this year:
- Keeping my Favorites up to date
- Reference Sheet for Roxelia
I've been trying to learn to draw for 9 years, mostly because of my craving for knowledge that I couldn't apply, I became impatient and frustrated. I don't want to fall into the same pitfalls again and again. From now on I want to do it differently, slowly and with smaller goals. To continue what I’ve started.

1st Anniversary Update
Posted 6 years agoToday, April 16th, my FA account has its 1st anniversary, and I think an update is needed.
First, I should watch all my favorite artists. That's the least I can do for them.
My favorites will be more difficult. I have a lot of favorites, but never added them to my favorites. I'm not sure to adding them, because I do not want to make people feel like stalking them when I add half of their gallery to my favorites. Maybe my worries about the consequences, whether positive or negative, are unfounded.
The last point is that I rarely submit anything here, I want to change that. I'll think about setting a calendar for it so I can show more consistency. Let's see.
Heute, am 16. April, hat mein FA-Account seinen 1. Jahrestag, und ich denke, dass ein Update notwendig ist.
Als Erstes sollte ich allen meinen Lieblingskünstlern zuschauen. Das ist das Mindeste, was ich für sie tun kann.
Bei meinen Favoriten wird es schwieriger. Ich habe eine Menge Favoriten, habe sie aber nie in meine Favoriten hinzugefügt. Ich bin mir da noch nicht sicher, weil ich bei den Leuten nicht den Eindruck erwecken möchte, dass ich sie stalke, wenn ich die Hälfte ihrer Gallery meinen Favoriten hinzufüge. Vielleicht sind meine Sorgen um die Konsequenzen, egal ob positiv oder negativ, unbegründet.
Der letzte Punkt ist, dass ich Hier selten Etwas einreiche, das will ich ändern. Ich werde mir überlegen, ob ich mir einen Kalender dafür einrichten werde, damit ich mehr Konsistenz zeigen kann. Mal sehen.
