I've come to the conclusion that I have more acquaintances than friends.

People who tell me to my face that we're friends and how they always want to hang out. Yet I never get the time of day anymore. That if I don't go out of my way to contact you, I never hear from you. Some even more I try to contact and I'm just blown off.

I find it sad that people who are hundred of miles away from me contact me on a regular basis and yet people who are much closer are practically non-existent.

So you know what, screw you. It wouldn't hurt to hear from you every once in a while. And not make me feel like I'm just some person who was a temporary interest.

Stop posting blank images about this god damned SOPA/PIPA bill.

Stop clogging up my inbox and the front page of this site with blank images. Stop using up FA bandwidth cause you think you're cool by being a part of the crowd...

Now before you all come here and lynch me for the title of the journal. I'm rather neutral about it.

See, I think the premise of the bills are in good intention but I think they're going about it the wrong way.

People losing their mind about, "YouTube will be gone, Google will disappear, and everything we know and love about the internet will be gone."

Not true people.

We would still have YouTube. We can still see people getting hit in the nuts with baseballs and children coked out from the dentists office.

Yes some of our favorite videos would be gone such as DragonBall Z:Abridged and the like.

You see this is nothing more than major companies saying, you can have your internets, just keep our products on our websites and we'll be happy.

Now I think there can be a solution to this, unlike 95% of the people on the internet I at least throw my two cents as to what I think could be a solution.

If a company owns copyright to a product or entity. A person or smaller company should be able to buy some kind of license or sub-copyright to allow them a small about of freedom in using the product for themselves.

A certain amount if it's for non-profit, and another amount for profit (along with royalties).

Sure it would cost us money but we would still be able to see our favorite shows like DBZ: Abridged and they don't get into any legal problems.

I'm all for creative outlets, I wouldn't be shocked if in 10 years I hear the guys of DBZ:Abridged get jobs in the entertainment business, and doing this series is their way of getting their foot in the door potentially.

But I can see where Funimation would be coming from. They see a bunch of kids taking their product, making it into something of their own, then selling t-shirts and other products.

That's like if I have a character, someone decided to use them in a comic without my permission, then the person sells the comic at AC and makes $500. I would be pissed off too, would I be the asshole in this case?

All-in-all, I don't want to see this bill passed either but I do think something should be done about piracy. Instead of outright opposing something, also come up with some kind of a solution to help fix the issue.

Lets be honest, the people of the internet are simply being spoiled, Why spend $100 on all the seasons of Naruto when I can go to PirateBay and download them myself? Why pay $750 for Photoshop when I can download it and the activation key code generator?

Sorry internet, it's time we were all put back in our place a little bit and accept that if we want something from a company we ARE gonna have to pay something for it.

So my wages are now garnished.

I already don't have any money each paycheck and now I just lost 10% more.

What's worse, the debt is still collecting interest at 9%.

Here's where shit really hits the fan...

I am assuming the debt is collecting simple yearly interest.

According to my garnishment papers. The loan was worth $10,348.50 as of June 2011.

That means by January of this year when the garnishment kicked in, it's now up to $10,891.80.

This debt gains about $77.61 in interest.

Meaning I would have to make $776.10 a paycheck, just to break even on the interest.

ALL BUT ONE PAYCHECK since I started working again has been over that amount.

MEANING that even with my wages now garnished, I am not paying off the debt. I am simply slowing down the accumulation of debt...

I can't even afford to go to a debt counselor and I don't know what else to do...

APPARENTLY, this company offers a program called RAEP or Residential Assistance for Employees Program. And their slogan is "Get into the home you deserve. It's time for RAEP!"

So I'm in need of money (as usual) and I'm selling some stuff.

The only real noteworthy thing I have at the moment is my leather jacket that is too big for me now. It's a 2XL but it feels closer to a 3XL.

It is an authentic leather jacket that when I originally bought it was $450.

I'm thinking about selling it for $100 or best offer. Anyone interested?

I found out that my vehicle never had the thermostat installed in my truck. Which would explain why it never got up to operating temperature and why I never had heat in my truck.

So I replaced it, and now my truck is luke warm! Yeah the heat isn't amazing but hot damn is it A LOT better than what it was. Not to mention I'm thinking that I might get slightly better gas milage that before.

Yup, busted my laptop yesterday...

Today, received a letter stating I am mow going to have 10% of my wages garnished due to an old collection from FOUR YEARS AGO!

I can't fucking win. I just want to get over all of this financial bullshit.

I owed 8 grand when I lost my truck and now it's up to 11 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!

At an average of $120 a month plus 9% interest, it will take me TEN-AND-A-HALF-YEARS to pay it off... I'm so sick of all of this...

I just want to go back to normal...

I work my ass off and my paycheck is getting smaller and smaller. Collections and wage garnishes... I just want it all to go away...

You know what; I'm done.

I'm tired of trying to be friends with people.

I try to make friends with people for the sake of being nice, to broaden my horizon. And more often then not, I'm introduced to creepers, liars, or people who just want to sleep with me.

You know what I'm done with this shit. I just want to meet normal people. I know people have their kinks, their mannerisms, how they personally act, and etc.

The fact of the matter is, I don't know what makes people think that it's okay to assume that now that you talk to me, we're friends; and that you can start acting "yourself" and it turns out you're a fuckin' freak.

If I get one more random note about people I've never met before telling me that they're hard and want to have sex with me. Of if I have one more person confess their undying love for me even though they've never met me, or if I have one more person tell me some deep dark secret that makes me feel uncomfortable cause if I tell what I really think about you, I'm the asshole.

So MANY of you don't realize you do this. That you're surrounded by people who accept this. That when I call it out, I'm the jerk who doesn't understand you. I'm not RPing anymore cause no one and I mean NO ONE can RP with me without eventually telling me that they now have feelings for me.

I'm tired of listening to people tell me about their sexual adventures, with how many people they have slept with, then when the rumor that you're a WHORE comes out, you're depressed and don't understand why.

I know I owe people money, and I'm sorry. If I had the money, I would pay everyone back. I was unemployed for EIGHT MONTHS. I work a part-time job while trying to pay off rent, a defaulted credit card, a defaulted Kay Jewelers account, a defaulted school loan.

If you didn't have the money yourself, why did you commission me? I'm sorry that I couldn't deliver your pronz for you. I'm an up-front person about things if you're democratic about approaching me. Constant note asking me for a refund is NOT GOING TO MAKE MONEY MATERIALIZE IN MY WALLET. I know I owe you money.

I'm not going to stare myself any more than I already am. I have about $900 a month in bills and I make about $1100 a month. That remaining $200 a month goes to a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee that gets 13 miles to the gallon and costs me $80 per tank to fill. And that since my job is 30 miles round trip, I have to fill up about every week. I have to borrow money from my mother for gas money and I steal deli meat, or eat 5 hour old food I'm suppose to throw away from work just so I actually ate something for the day.

I'm tired of trying to be the nice guy, I'm tired of holding back my truthful opinions simply for the sake of not offending you.

You want to be my friend, be normal. Nothing more. You want to chat with me, have a normal conversation like you would with your mother. Cause I would HOPE that you wouldn't talk about how you've been practicing your new Varka toy from Bad Dragon on your asshole to your mother.

But I guess I'm being silly.

So I've been seeing a lot of migration on here lately due to various reasons. I completely understand almost all of it, but it's still a little sad when someone leaves, even if I never particularly got along with that person. I'm not really a vehement FA fan myself, but its upsetting because when they leave FA, they (in the collective sense) tend to disassociate with the fandom itself.

So I propose a day of fanart. Let's be completely honest here, there's a lot of furry filth that we deal with as artists that is just completely unmerited. It's the internet, yadda yadda, whatevs. But how about giving something back? We get to see artwork for FREE, where just a little over a decade ago, good, high quality fur-art was something limited exclusively to private collections.

On August 31st, everyone should pick two of their favorite artists and make some appropriate fanart for them.

I say appropriate because I'm pretty sure there's people out there who think that a picture of their character humping someone else's face while they're sleeping would be an acceptable giftart. [Hint: Probably going with 'not so much' on this one.]

The reasoning? Get better at art. Everyone has people who they respect and inspire them. Why not actually DO something about it and learn to make your own art? Don't copy and don't trace.

TLDR;

Rules:
1. Pick two artists. Make fanart by aug 31st.
2. Keep it clean unless that artist likes art of their character otherwise.
3. Don't be a fanboy. Its not about you. It's not about riding someone else's coattail.
4. If it doesn't look good enough, then try again next year. Whole year of extra practice!
5. If they don't say anything on your piece, move on (or if angry, just stop watching them). Don't Dwell. Don't pester.
6. Don't get wierd about this guys.
7. Don't ask for shipping info, just post and share a link. Asking for private details is a no-no.


Also, this is totally not about me. I don't expect anyone to give me giftart. I'm going to work on my own and hopefully finish it in time!
