I'm not sure if many people still post here, and I personally haven't done any focused art for a loooong time. I have been wanting to get back into creative things, so I've been doodling here and there but not really posting.

I want to get back into it, and more connected with people in the art / creative space again.

I hope you're all doing well and managed through COVID okay. It's been a crazy couple of years. A few things have changed for me - I got my top surgery! January 19th 2023 :) It's changed my life significantly for the better. I got really fit and into running, then after surgery and a knee issue couldn't run much for a while so fell out of it - need to get back into that too *__*
My mum unfortunately passed away completely unexpectedly August 9th 2023. It's been really hard; but we're growing around our grief - not sure if I'm relieved or mortified about it.
My partner and I moved in together post COVID and I'm working in a sector I find really fun and important :) I hope to stay there for a while. We're trying to find our way with buying a house, so fingers crossed that'll be in my near future.
I've been dabbling in digital art, poetry and long form written content (including fanfic again) - trying to be okay with not being able to churn things out like I used to!

How is everyone doing? What's new for you?

Hope some of you are still around :) Hope you'll like what I have to show you. I want to do some more free art again; I really enjoyed it.

Hello everyone!

Following some thought and information regarding the wait times at the NHS GIC, which turns out may be a lot longer than I had anticipated, I’ve started saving to fund my appointments and treatment privately. I’ve recently been referred to see the NHS GIC but if things continue as they are I may not be seen until my 40’s. I was prepared for around a 3 year wait for my first appointment so, to safeguard my future healthcare, I will aim to save enough money over the next 3 years to cover my assessments and treatment. This will mean that at least if worse comes to worst and the NHS GIC wait is hopeless, I can still access healthcare in the time I was mentally preparing for. As such, I will be opening for commissions regularly and saving any spare money that comes my way after my bills are paid each month. I’m feeling determined and I know that with some hard work I can ensure I get to where I need to be. I was feeling really down about it, but it’s time to move forward!

Just wanted to let you know that my computer has kicked the bucket, so I won't be uploading any art for a bit!

Luckily my lovely partner has helped me buy a new one to replace it and it should be here on Saturday 6th May :) Apologies for any delay in art but at least I've got a very generous partner so it won't be too long :)

I need to get some money together to start paying him back so i may be pushing commissions a bit more so hope that doesn't bug anyone ^_^

Hope you don't mind the personal art dump recently! Been a but busy this week and haven't had much luck with my style so i wanted to try and work through it with some personal art rather than struggling onwards with commission stuff as I want that to be the best stuff!
