I've bought a scanner/printer combo and have begun preparations to begin scanning and updating old uploads and art aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand to scan and post NEW ART (both art I simply haven't uploaded before as well as actually recently drawn art in my new styles.
I also plan to revamp my profile and upload a new version of my ref sheet. : 3

Looking into purchasing a fursuit; Any suggestions?
Posted 8 years agoI'm looking into buying a fursuit (at least a head, paws, footpaws, and two or three tail, though I would like to to get a full suit, with up to all nine of my tails, if I can) and would love to hear any advice, tips, and recommendations for fursuit creators that you may have. : 3
I expect to spend between $500 and $1,500 (may go higher depending on several factors).
If anyone has glowing recommendations for, or informed warnings against, a fursuit creator they've commissioned, or is a fursuit creator themselves, I would love to hear your thoughts on the subject.
Also, any fursuiters who might have tips for what to ask for, and what to ask to be left out, when ordering a fursuit, your thoughts would be very appreciated, too!
Ideally, I would love to find a creator and get work started very soon, and at least the partial portion of the suit finished and shipped out before August so it can be worn at Megaplex 2018.
I've seen and somewhat checked out a few fursuit crafters, but getting feedback from actual commissioners tends to instill more confidence than business web pages. //3

I'm running Dell Integrated Graphics on my PC, and it does limit some of the functions of my system, as you could imagine.
I'd love to upgrade to graphics card(s) soon, and getting some funds in through drawing would be wonderful {//3

Open Enroll for Friends' Art Games Positions
Posted 9 years agoI'm looking to start up a group who wants to play games, and art-based games in particular.
"Draw It From Memory," "1-Minute Sketch-it!," "Guess That Drawing," and other such gems are on the list to play, and if we get enough members, we can start playing group matches and squaring off iin Team-on-Team challenges.
You don't have to be an exceptional artist to join in on the fun; you just have to love playing the games with friends.
We'll likely be setting up an IM group so notifications are easier and deciding member stats and positions once everyone is enrolled.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE WATCH ZOOTOPIA! Scalies and Avians!!
Posted 9 years agoI just got back from watching the early premiere and it is absolutely MARVELOUS!
Absolutely no spoilers; There is a good reason that scalies weren't included in this one, please trust me, and it really should not subtract from the thrill of seeing this movie AT ALL!
Every good thing you have most likely heard about it is true if not understated, and it is an experience that you should not miss experiencing!
I plan to buy the DVD/Blu-ray just as soon as I can, as well as a digital copy if one isn't included, and might just go buy another ticket for a theater showing to show even more support!
You will NOT be disappointed by Zootopia, I can all but garauntee it!
For Scalies and Avians:
There are officially more cities/districts/regions beyond or outside of Zootopia that many species live in, including apparently most reptiles, amphibians, and avians!
While it is likely the Macaws and Birds of Paradise and likely snakes/nagas could do well in the Rainforet areas of Zootopia, they already have, the evidence points toward, a fairly climate steady land to themselves. And staying in those cities is currently safer than living in the city, really.
I mean, one wrong train ride and cold blooded scalies find themselves in the freezing cold Tundraown, and in quite a bit of a pickle. What's more sandstorms and regulated daily blizzards (and, I suspect, regular strong winds) could certainly make flight difficult in the city for featherkind.
This said, we also find out in the movie that the city is still growing in many ways, so it is very possible that it is only a matter of time before conventions are made to help scalies and avains be more readily adaptable to city life, and the city more adaptable to their lives,
So please don't be upset. They may not get screen time, but they are there, and I certainly feel hopeful that good numbers will mean a sequel and that a sequel will mean seeing Scaled and Winged species all around! ^w^
And if no-scalies is what is keeping you from watching it, "out of principle," I would be willing to single pawedly write a finfic for the inclusion a scalies, if not a fan made sequel/orequal/AU if it would convince you to see it otherwise.
Please make sure to spread the word and get EVERYONE to watch it who will. It is worth every single penny.

Toy Reccomendation? Art slave? Game Trades?
Posted 10 years agoSo, I found out today that Frisky-Beast ( http://frisky-beast.com ) is up, running, and shipping, and that they actually have some really cool toy designs for a fraction of Bad Dragon's prices.
I'm considering purchasing one myself, but I really should save some cash for upcoming expenditures.
That said, I thought it might be worth opening up a trade journal to see who's interested.
If you buy me any item(s) from Frisky-Beast, or Bad Dragon (Even eggs or merchandise), I will be happy to either trade you extra game codes I have for Steam, or to start commissioned art work, which means you receive top work list priority, at least one piece of art (the more expensive/I want the ordered item, the more pieces I can offer, of course), and preference for future gift art at random.
If you would like to take me up on the offer, please note me so we can discuss terms and conditions.
If there are any questions or any other offers you would like to make, please note me about them as well.

I'm debating whether or not to go ahead and buy a toy or two, or to just save up some cash for future purchases. I'm tempted to be a bit impulsive and get one soon, but I don't know what the best choice in toys is, really.

Which is better? A less expensive toy or two from Frisky Beast, or a more expensive one from Bad-Dragon?
FB has less selection, but their prices start at about 40-50% that of BDs . . . So theoretically, I could get something for front and back for the same price (or less) than one toy from BD.
On the other hand, BD has more models to chose from, has suction and tube features, and is more established.
Has anyone compared the two? Or maybe just have an opinion? Is there a particular toy, or toys, you would suggest, either to use solo or in tandem?
Any stories of concern or praise over either company's ways of handling business?

Drawing Art/Trading Steam Games For Toys
Posted 10 years agoSo, I found out today that Frisky-Beast ( http://frisky-beast.com ) is up, running, and shipping, and that they actually have some really cool toy designs for a fraction of Bad Dragon's prices.
I'm considering purchasing one myself, but I really should save some cash for upcoming expenditures.
That said, I thought it might be worth opening up a trade journal to see who's interested.
If you buy me any item(s) from Frisky-Beast, or Bad Dragon (Even eggs or merchandise), I will be happy to either trade you extra game codes I have for Steam, or to start commissioned art work, which means you receive top work list priority, at least one piece of art (the more expensive/I want the ordered item, the more pieces I can offer, of course), and preference for future gift art at random.
If you would like to take me up on the offer, please note me so we can discuss terms and conditions.
If there are any questions or any other offers you would like to make, please note me about them as well.

I'm debating whether or not to go ahead and buy a toy or two, or to just save up some cash for future purchases. I'm tempted to be a bit impulsive and get one soon, but I don't know what the best choice in toys is, really.

FB has less selection, but their prices start at about 40-50% that of BDs . . . So theoretically, I could get something for front and back for the same price (or less) than one toy from BD.
On the other hand, BD has more models to chose from, has suction and tube features, and is more established.
Has anyone compared the two? Or maybe just have an opinion? Is there a particular toy, or toys, you would suggest, either to use solo or in tandem?

If you want to join and have a chance for some art as Christmas gifts for yourself, you better read her rules (there is a form to fill out), and if you cause them any trouble, I'll be barring you from any freebies from myself in the future, and they likely will block you altogether, s, remember; It's for Chrsitmas so don't be greedy, don't be rude, appreciate any and everything you get, and give thanks for the gifts, and really put some effort into making ones for the others as well.

If you can't think of anything, tell me the characters personality and I' can do a wing it.
Just remember, the more detailed you are, the better the freebie is likely to turn out.
Also, as always, I retain the right to refuse to draw anything I do not feel comfortable drawing and anything that violates the site's terms.
