Found myself browsing Vocaloid again. Anyone have a favorite song/vocaloid?

I am working on them, but my job has been taking a lot of my time lately. I recently had to switch shifts and the change from nights to days was hard xD

So my roommate bought me a few little sketchbooks! I was wondering if anyone would be interested in me doing a sketchbook auction of sorts? I'm only about 90% sure what to do so any advice would be appreciated!

So if you read my previous journal many of you would know that I had to get a new laptop! *sobs forever*

Well with a new laptop I have to basically start over on a LOT of my brushes I had made for all my art. Well in my venture to remake these brushes I made some random chibis and was curious to see if any would be interested in adopting. If I get enough feedback I'll post them in batches, but otherwise I'll just keep them to myself :)

Anyway any thoughts?

Hey sorry everyone, but I finally got a new laptop! So for all those who participated in the chibi auction, I'll get to work right away (as soon as the computer finishes downloading all the drivers for the tablet ;A;

In the meantime please be patient and I'll get everything uploaded :)

So yeah. My laptop for all my artwork won't turn on. I'm taking it to be looked at tomorrow and hopefully they can help me. Worse case senario they have to reset it to factory settings. If that happens then I'll loose pretty much everything, including programs. I don't want to say this is going to delay anything, but any requests or chibi auction winners will be put on hold until I find a good enough laptop to run my programs. I'm really sorry!

So I was wondering if I held a chibi auction who would be interested?

For those commissioning me for the first time, all I ask is that you provide references in your note rather than just asking if you can have a commission. If you don't have a reference then a description will take place of a reference. For those coming back for another commission, thank you for the continuing business! You guys know the drill hopefully and all I ask is to continue to provide current deviants of your characters or current references.
And unlike before, there is a limit on how many commissions you can ask for. I realize that it's cruel to limit how many times you can commission, but there's only so many times I can draw a character before I have to take a break. So during this time, only two separate commissions are allowed. There can be exceptions (depending upon my decision) but please do not ask for third unless I want to do one.

<b>Now for a serious issue that has been brought to my attention. </b>
I personally don't care how you use your commissions, but I have run across a few where the commissioner has reposted it on tumbr and claimed it to be their own drawing. If you're going to reblog or repost, please credit me. I do sign randomly but with this batch I am going to be signing and/or putting my url where you cannot remove it. I'm sorry for those who don't like that, but I think it's necessary.

My tablet has died. I've only had it a year and a half, but I've used it so much that I'm really not surprised it died. Upset: yes. Surprised: Not really. Now I've ordered my new tablet, but if you were to commission me, it would help a lot! I'm not going to beg for a commission, but if you have the spare cash, all help would be appreciated!

So within the last 40 days I purchased a car. Apparently the car was having transmission issues and the dealership has decided that, in order to get an entire new transmission, they are going to charge me a grand total of $3,345 at once. I don't know about any of you, but I know I don't have that kind of cash just sitting around.

In a month I leave for boot camp (US Navy) for eight weeks. So until then I'll be working my ass off (literally), learning things in my start guide (already know most of it), as well as finishing up commissions and requests! I am on deviantart more than I am on fA, so if you want to commission me, there's a better chance of you finding me on dA. I also take points rather than money for commissions on dA for those who would rather do that :)

So for the last few months, I've been experiementing with different painting mediums and I've discovered my love for gouache paint. Because of this love, I've purchased several supplies and decided to open traditional commissions. Below is the price list for these items as well as a few updates on digital art commissions.

But before that, I'm opening up 3 slots for requests. These requests are digital and can be either chibi(s) or waist up (unless I change my mind when working on your piece). I'm doing this to expand my abilities and hopefully get a chance to draw interesting characters!

1. 18 5x5 pictures. Done traditionally, they cost $7 each. Come already drawn.

2. 15 laminated badges for $7 each. Customized request.

3. 10 11x7.5 gouache paintings for $15. Requests will be accepted based on difficulty.

4. 5 11x15 gouache paintings for $25. Requests will be accepted based on difficulty.

I will be doing a few more things this summer, but for now, that's what I plan on doing.

Digital Art News and Request of Commissioners
1. Chibi Commissions are the easiest. Because of how easy they are, I can whip these out a lot quicker. Each chibi commission (with one chibi) takes approximately 1.5 hours. Multiple chibis will take longer.

2. Right now, I'm experimenting with drawing furry chibis. So far, I'm enjoying how they're looking and I will upload some I've been working on later.

3. I will humanize your character unless you specify in your message. If you are unsatisfied with the human version, I will draw a furry chibi of your character.

4. If available, please link me to reference of your character. Not only is that very helpful in designing a humanized version, but it also aids in the shading process.

Essentially, for those interested in commissioning me, I'm very limited in some areas. I do not have a lot of experience when it comes to drawing furries, but over time, I hope that will change.

I feel so welcome here. I've never had people look at my art and really like it then watch me. Usually I have people fav and that's it. But all of those who have either faved, watched, or commented have made me feel so happy as an artist. I hope that I continue to impress you (hopefully not with my coloring...bleh).

Ah sorry, I always put down my coloring. I don't like it and I spend so much time complaining about it that it's almost comical just to read arguments that I've had with myself. (Yes I do have those arguments...shut up Choobie!)
