FurDU 2012!!!
Posted 13 years agoI had to leave this for a few days! I know this will be a pretty big write up!! X"D So warning in advance!!! =D
Furdu! Furry Down Under, Surfers paradise QLD, Australia! FFFFFFF'n AWESOME CON EVAR!!! <3 OMG I can't even begin to describe just how much awesome there was packed in over this long weekend!! YEY!!!
Day 1..Thursday!
Left home at 6.15am for an epic long journey to Furdu! Started off pretty lame, it took 4 hours to get 215km >.<;;;; why? Sydney...-_-; was busy, almost peak hour and took FORVER to get through it, I thought we'd never get to furdu!!
Had a couple breaks eating picnic food we brought along (to save money rather than buying fast foods!) Stopped off at The Big BANANA! along the way at Coffs Harbour!! OMG Finally got to see the big NANU!~~ The gift shop was closed, so couldn't buy any nanu's >.> Up, Up, Up and we eventually passed into a new state! (yey!) and arrived after 14 hours to the Watermark hotel!! ^o^
When we stopped I forgot about parking! And saw it was only $12 so that was OK, BUT when we went to check in.... OMG FREE PARKING! ^O^ Best EVER!
Then after we parked and gathered stuff to take inside... I noticed.. WOW! FAST LIFTS! X"D epic! Got up to our room found out that they we're HUGE! (compared to previous con hotel room) and EEE!! LARGE beautiful bathroom!! Only downfall was the halfsize bar fridge.. but.. who cares! we brough an eski and a KEG.. and hotel has free ice!! yey!! On the way to get some din dins we ran into Kat and Enigma... our next door neighbours! X"D They recommended the spa, so we checked it out, and decided to go there first before food before the pool closed! ^__^ Nice spa, nice pool and nice sauna too! After that, food time!! we walked back and forth trying to find our way around... couldnt decide on anything close by, the cold rock place said 'walk 5 mins up the road theres another cold rock open later than ours!' ..we walked.. 10mins? didnt find one >.>...but we found food and another ice cream shop! Also found a group of fuzz butts including the awesome Drake!! <3 yey!!
Walked back to the hotel and it was baout time to crash for the night for epic con ahead for us!!!
Day 2.. Friday!
Wake up and realise... OMG FURDU!!! EEEE!!
11am rego opened.. we decided there might be a line and to wait a while before going down! Eventually got doen there.. with yep. big line up still! But it turned out to be conregating furs standing in line formation.. when they had already gotten their regos! X"D So go my pass (omg OoooOoo Guest tag too!) =D Awwrr yeh! Then found Oz with much cuddles and such I was instructed to go get the items I made for the Con! Back again a short time later and Wa-La! 2 nice new shiny banners I made up for Oz for Furdu! Consisting of epic arts by Hyhena(?) and Tani daReal. I printed, trimmed and put them together myself, to help out with the con and to save time/money for peeps getting it done else where =D And they turned out real nice! =)
LUNCH TIEM went and got some food nomz with awesome peeps!! and then headed back to the con to catch the end of the art jam (Nuuu! I missed it!) But it was hilarious and I had lotsa fun! X"D (but just before that.. I went in the wrong room and got made into a pawn for furry chess! lol! the game ended really fast! WOAH! and I bailed to go to the art jam!! X"D.. also got given this EPIC carni jacket from Oz to wear for the con!! WOO!)
Then it was time for FURSUIT PANEL! I was the host for this shindig, and I ALWAYS LOVE DOING IT!!! BUT.. I am super nervous and very shy, so I asked if I can find others to help me out! =D I saw Kat and was all 'OMG you've made a suit!! PLEASE HELP ME!! X"D' or.. more like, 'would you pretty please help me do the fursuit panel??? *puppy eyes*' XD SO she was like "OK!" XD Then I found Dustan and was like "PLEASE" and PUPPY EYES And he helped out too... YEY! <3 You guys rock so hard for helping me out for this!! I was very un prepared, but I think we hit it off really well! We all have different ways and methods of creating costumes/fursuits.. so yeh! AWesome!! <3 I'd totally be up for it again! XD
Then was the Furdu Intro.. the introduction to AWESOME more like it!! ^o^
After that, went for din dins! we ran into carni, kradz, kaz and all the other actfur peeps.. and ended up taging along X"D.... omg ew BAKON vodka O__O; I took a capture of the barcode thing on it... it took me to a webpage saying it was bottle number 1122 and that you can earn points and achievements on their facebook.. lol.. yehhh nah, i'll pass on anything facebook >.<
After dinner it was time for the Magic Show!! HOMGHAHAHH!! X"D it was the BEST! Matt Hollywood performed and amazed and made everyone laugh so much! it sure was epic!!! =D I got one of his cards and worked up the courage to ask him to sign it for me X"3
Next was Anthrax and his always excellent comedy standups!! =D A short break and then "EPIC DANCE OF AWESOME" Time!! (yes.. it was actually called that! WOO!!) dance/mingle/room party hop and fursuitages!
And bed.
Day 3... Saturday!
Sleep in! X"D And awrrrr its raining >.> did food stuffz then set up my table for being a carnival carni, got crazy to mind it while I quickly got suited up and had a photoshoot, ran back and un-suited and then got to the table!! ^_^ Sold a few things here and there, I had lots of stickers for sale, some sculpey critters, tails and ears and some unwanted unused clothes ^^ Also sold some commissions!! ^__^ very happy about that! I had a blast! =D
I shared the table with Carni aswell so she could sell her talent also!! The setup was awesome, we all had 'carni cash' to play games/get food ect and there was even a kissing booth! I saw Duke there <3 OMG! but i never got a chance to go over for a kiss!! But I was fortunate enough to be there when Jen was, Carni was oogling from a dristance so Jen gave me a freebie =D (I later went back with a bunch of carni cash for her XD) With all the dealer tables there was also stuff happening in the same room, so the dealers didnt miss out on anything! ACTfur was on and hilarious as usual ^__^ lotsa fun! There was also some random tweets projected on the walls... OMG FUNNY X"D
Later was din dins and then the Gameshow night extravaganza! LMFAO =D YEH! So much funnys!! X"D Crazy and I ended up on the "who wants to be a popufur" game X"D I totally loose... I phoned a friend - carni- she told me her answer, I saw someone give an odd look, so I thought.. maybe its the other answer??? ARGH! done my head in.. I gave in and said the other answer, and got it wrong... I should have listened carni!! XD But i was lucky, as the next question was stupid hard, crazy ended up passing it X3
All in all epic night of awesome!! we had peeps in our room for some drinkages and such, and then bed time!
Day 4... Sunday!
Attempted sleep in, failed cause there was SUNSHINE! YEY! Got up and went down to check if the fursuit beach walk was on, and eventually found out... yes!! WOO! ran up and got changed and out we went!! Was perfect weather too, nice cool breeze to cool us fuzzy ones down! Got to the beach and had lots of photos!! YEY =D Then quickly went back to the hotel to meet up with Carni and Kraden, and then Jen, Tom, Kell, Fuzzy, Kyle, Kaz and Logan. All to go to the Antique Photo place to have an awesome sepia old school style photoshoot! We chose the cowboy and Saloon Girl theme! Myself, Carni and Jen got to be all prettied up! <3 it sure was fun!! there was a few different guy costumes, some were the outlaws, some gentlemen and kraden the sherif XD I think there was others.. but can't remember what they are!
We all chipped in for the sitting fee and then bought some photos each, so all up together, we probly got one of of everything! XD I chose the three girls, and the three couple pics ^__^ I shall frame and hang!!!
I waited for the photos to be developed while everyone else went back to the con ^^ mad it back in time for Iron Artist!! (but sadly missed the guest panel >.> ) Iron artist was very funny!! I liked the chicken with neck balls the best! LOL!
Next was GAMES PANEL I dont know what the game was, but Tiny made a creepy character into Kyle's squeaky fish!! lol!! awesome!
Then Myself, jen and Carni went to get suited up for fursuit games! This was also super awesome!! As Carni and I were both in my suits, so to some it was like "huh? two vixens??" lol and carni got called vixen alot, as well as me X"D lol Crazy thought it was great that there was both 'vixen' suit and 'Jasper' suit running about XD And LOL Tiny Cat was in heaven X"D classic!! =D Jen also got to suit up in the calico cat of Oz's and help host the fursuit games!! =D Much much fun!! Can't wait to see some photos!! <3
Got changed and went to dinner with Crazy, Enigma and Kat at Sushi Train! It was great!! A bit far to walk (as it was the one near last years hotel) but worth it! We had to rush back to be in time for the charity Auction!
*squeee!!* Auction was great! and went really well!! <3 I got there intime to try bid on the furdu shirts, which was one for each furdu.. I really really really wanted the black one from last years con.. I wanted it so bad!! XD I bid I think up to $150? or $140? But.. there was this one guy who kept out bidding me! X"D So I bailed... And then... he came to me and gave me the shirt I wanted!! <3<3<3 I was almost totally speechless!!! That was the best ever!!! So I now owe him a picture in return!! He rocked!! =D THANKYOU KYSIS!!!
The banners I made up ended up selling for I think $400 for one and ..$500 or more for the other?? WOW! I was so surprised at how much they went for!! =D But that was epic win for the charity! YEY!
After that we went to the spa! I invited carni and who ever she wanted to bring, and the spa got FULL OMG.. when we exited... It was so empty the water jets were spraying out!! LOL!!
Then we went to the sauna! Super hot in thar guys!!! XD Crazy and I bailed in time to get changed and go see the end of Kaz's DJ set =D and then flailed and danced about until end! Got invided to DnB con woo! That was on the TOP floor on cathedrial door town.. room with its own spa and sunroom XD (or night room in this case)
This party went for EVER. I didnt drink since we had to drive home the next day... man it was crazy! epic musics Dj'd inside, where we stayed.. while most other peeps were in the spa room... lots of unspeakable things I heard happened.. and.. we were exposed to a few of the truths and dares .O___<... so yeh.. I'm glad I was not taking part! X"D
Long night, so not much sleep for the journey home tomorrow!

HOME DAY
Homeeee ;_; Gunna miss FurDU!!! But it just makes me want it to be next years one already!! XD
Stopped off at sugartown.. bought sugar!! and fuel XD
Stopped at Big Bananu! Got a banana toy, mug and magnet.. and a chicken figue too XD Also bought actual bananas =D
Long trip back and we got home about 11? or 12 at night? Then went to sleep.. work the next day *dies*
Annnnywho! FurDU! My 2nd one and I will attend them all!! Its always such great fun!! Loved every moment of it! <3 Thanks to Oz, Drake and Joey for being such awesome Carni Host's for the Carnival themed con! I look forward to next year!! (whats the theme???) XD I should prepare for it now!! =D
I'll update on commission info shortly! I do intend to open up for suit commish's so feel free to ask about them! =)

Totally looking forward to it and working my ASS off getting a commish finished so I can finish my OWN suit in time for the AWESOME DAYS OF A FURRY CON in glorious Surfers Paridise!! ^o^ Can't wait!! I sure hope the weather holds up to be AWESOME aswell, I'm looking forward to the fursuit walk on the beach <3!! And pretty much EVERYTHING else thats on!
Also got lots o' nick nacks to sell! <3 Hopefully I get enough things made in time aswell X3 Otherwise I'll just do on the spot comissh stuffz instead XD

In other news!
Easter just rocked up and went away like it was never there! Crazy and I spent our week in lovely WA in Geraldton!! Soo warm and perfect over there!! It's one of the prettiest/nicest places ever!! I wish I could have stayed!!! Crazy is still spending time over there with his Bro, while I have to go back to work tomorrow *angry face* >.< O well.. more small holidays coming up for furdu! woo hoo!! ^O^

Hair is gone! Suit progress and some updates.
Posted 13 years agoWednesday night I said my farewells to my hair of many many years... and Crazy did the job of taking it away from me! Cutting my long plaited pony tail from my head...
It was scary and took so much longer than I expected.. as in... yup.. real thick hair XD
I did this to raise money for the Lekaemia Foundation for the 'worlds greatest shave' I intended to raise up to $3000... then I saw that going no where, so i Halved it to $1500.. and then more so to $500 as I was getting no where near what I thought I could for cutting off so much hair for a needed charity. I was able to raise that $500 and a bit more (as I have cash donations ready to deposit) as well as the online donations...which are still open!
But on the bright side... I've been getting some really nice/good comments on the new look! (lol) I dont think any one who hasnt seen me in a while would recognise me! XD It's really weird being able to comb my hair rather than brush it for ages and use SOOO much less shampoo and conditioner XD and the fact it takes like 10 mins to dry rather than 4 hours XD Also... much lighter too! haha!

flamedrake came by to visit me for a bit at work the other week while they were in town! =D was awesome to catch up and SOOO makes me can't wait until FURDU!!! only a little over a month away now! ^o^
Crazy and I bought a 4x4 for an AWESOME price and have been out and about Four-being (how do u spell that non existant word?) all over the place and getting stuck and having alot of close calls to boggy spots and such. Been going out with one of his mates who has one too, which is good incase one of us needed to be pulled free XD lol
Good fun! And also means we can go out camping and such too! ANNNDD even better for having for the SNOW trips we'll be making in the upcoming season! =).. only thing is.. our front yard looks like a wreckers atm! My ute and civic that have been sitting in the driveway, the corsair and integra, crazy's dads wagon, the laser and now the 4x4 all in the yard... the rest in the sheds! X"D
Art has been put on hold due to these hard working suit mkaing times! Plus.. regular work doesnt help much time wise!

Soundwave, Melbz and FUN!..and updates

Last Friday was SOUNDWAVE!!! And it was EPIC!
From the beginning!
Thursday Crazy and I headed off south.. for the long 10 or so hour drive to Mebourne! It was nice and DAMP.. raining all the way and flooding parts of the HWY at Eden. We crossed the water of about 1 foot in depth...
Tis crazy how fast waters rise! Some of you may know and even be experiencing the epic amounts of rain and flooding throughout NSW and some of VIC! was about this time last year we had tonnes of rain that flooded various areas too actually! Normally this time of year.. or before, its epic Bushfire season and full on summer time heat! But.. we didnt once get out the aircon this summer! and only went to the beach twice!! (and we live only a 5 min drive away!) X"D
Anyways.. moving on! we eventually ariived at Melbz at the residence of ze
carnival & 
kraden ^__^ We arrived rather late at night.. around 9.30/10pm? and they had prepared awesome foodz of NOM burriotos for din dins! X"D EE! Super tasty!!!! We mingled with chat and stuffz before going to bed as the next day was SOUNDWAVE!!
Woke up at a good time (and to a beautiful sunny day!) and Kraden had gone to work. Carnz made epic pancakes!!! MMMMMM!!!!~<3 and then kindly drove us to soundwave!! ^___^
We arrived and the entry gates where really well placed!!! LOTS of entry points and sorted for those with or without bags and those who are over 18 =D got through with ease and without the need to stop and wait! HUZZAH! (hate waiting in lines!!)
The booming and crowd noise of within the showgrounds was insane! we ended up putting in earplugs for most of the day XD I missed the first band I was keen to see because we didnt arrive a tad late for it and then I couldnt work out the map at the time!! we eventually found out where we were and what was where and ventured around! LOTS of food stalls and a few rides, HEAPS of free water bubblers and taps which was awesome! and HUGE over 18 areas for booze and foodz.
Heard a bit of Steel Panther in the background as we arrived as they were nearly finished, watched a bit of Lost Prophets.. seemed pretty good! I hadnt heard of them before! Then trekked over to see Hellyeah and Shadows Fall, we were in the stands for them and the wind carried away alot of the noise.. but still entertaining!
Then we stumbled upon Relient K (who were on the tiniest stage ever! they were ok) and then after them, we headed over to one of the main stages HUGE giant thing it was to line up for the mosh pit for Bush! <3 Loved Bush!! Didnt mosh, but was good to be close! After that we made out way to see a bit of Inflames before returning to the main stage (and not being able to enter the mosh pit zone as it was full) to see Limp Bizkit! Awesome old school and crap load of moshing and bash circles everywhere it was hectic! and this was OUTside the pit zone!! Crazy put me on his shoulders at one point and I looked all around to see absolutly no space ANYWHERE in my sight! thousands and thoussands of people everywhere!!
X"D Then we got food while a very sad sounding Marilyn Manson was on... (he was epic the last time I saw him live!) but apparently he was on something.. had a broken rib too. x_x... nearing the end of MM.. crap loads of people poured in and filled everywhere and we sat on the stairs in the seated zone waiting for Slipknot.... Now OMGZ they were AWESOME! They put on a real show.. great to watch, they sounded epic! and everyone loved it! slowly we got a seat and stayed there for the rest of the night X"D After Slipknot was System of a Down! lots of people left and then lots more people filled the blank spots! SOAD was also epic and awesome! by Slipknot wins the show tonight! XD we left nearing the end of SOAD to try avoid a mass load of people exiting at one time! and we awaited pickup from kradz n Carnz! =D <3
All in all, Soundwave was awesome and I'd totally do it again!!! X"D
AFter that, we chilled and talked at Kradz n Carnz' place =D
Next day, we got more of a sleep in ^o^ and hung about and helped with dinner food prepz and did shopping with kradz. Crazy and I had to head off to get a gearbox from whoop whoop and hour away and briefly saw a bit of a car rally in the mud XD looked awesome, but we had to go! Got back to our awesome hosts place and chilled out for a while as dinner was made and smelt of awesome! ^o^
Then Ruzkin and his lovely partner arrived and we ate awesome nomz! STEAK!! <3 and watched Black Books!! X"D I hadn't seen it in AGES! woo!!
Nearing the end of the night, we walked the visitors back to the Trainstation JUST making it in time! and them had drinks at the pub over the road! =D yey! EVentually making our way back and crashing for the night!
Up pretty early on the sunday for epic drive home. X_X DID NOT want to leave so soon!! >.> gyaahhhhH!!
We left and made our way through yet again more rain to Sheppaton and visited Robbie and Georgia! SO MUCH WATER X"D stayed there for a while before deprating again.. had hoped to visit home at Wagga on the way past.. bau ALL access to Wagga was closed due to floods >.< So we had to bypass and head to home at the bay.
After Lots of water and really awesome flood views ...rain and fog.. we finally arrived home! yey!

95% done with 2 commission fursuits which I shall post up on whitechocolateandraspberry as soon as they're done! Then I'll be working on something for myself for once before taking on anymore ^__^ I'll post up some sample pic's of the vinyl stickers I've made to see what people think/see if they're intereted in them!

WANTED: Feedback Please!

I'm thinking about making some vinyl stickers (like what you mostly see on car windows and such.. but they can go on just about ANYTHING aswell as cars! like laptops, walls, whatever)
I'd like a bit of feedback of what a furry would want. I'll list a few ideas and such but if theres something you'd like to see made, let me know! Using the feedback we'll go from there depending on popularity whether it's a good idea or not.
Here's a basic list of ideas:
- a paw
- group of paws
- wolf/generic candid or canine
- big cat/ generic feline
- dragon
- ferret/weasel/otter
- other?
They'd only be very basic line art and usually come in white (most common decal colour for a car window) but many other colours are available so you should also write what colour you'd prefer in a sticker and for what purpose you'd most likely use it for. I also had the idea for the group of paws to be available in the gay pride flag colours like a paw in each colour in the group. Maybe even holographic stickers being an option?
Let me know any thoughts /other critter ideas or even words to have as a sticker rather than pictures??
If this has enough interest I'll make a batch of the most popular few to being with and see how it goes.
Also! I can do ANYTHING you want if you'd rather a custom made one! =D Pretty much any size and any colour you want.. obviously all premade ones will be a set price, anything custom will be more depending on size/colour choices ect.

Posted 14 years agoSoooo... in regard to My attempt at getting sponsored for "Worlds Greatest Shave!" I seem to have not alot of interest from anyone! ^^;
Not sure if it was my goal or if no one wants me to cut my hair? X"D Perhaps just poor old furries is the wrong people to ask =P
I hope no one thinks I'm taking the money for myself, which I can't possibly do. The website is official and they take donations directly. All I get is recognition for asking people to donate.
I'm going to try again...
and ANYONE can contribute ANY amount be it only $1 or $100!! what ever you can give to help leukaemia research would be greatly appeciated. Well 2011's midfur got moved to early 2012 instead, so Midfur will technically be on twice this year! XD
Originally myself and Crazy were not going to attend Midfur 13 at all... It was a mix of all kinds of things on reason why, both were going to be working, time of year (a few days after new year >.<) and the fact that the previous midfur was.. welll.. if you went you'd understand. So really atteneding this midfur was a "make it or break it" type of thing, so it was good that we actually ended up getting work off. We pretty much decided to go only a few days before it started =P
Soooo we packed up quickly and drove 5hrs to our home town to crash the night and then another 5 or so hours down to melb from there. X__X we did this the first day of midfur, so we missed the opening. Once we arrived and settled in at the backpackers we went to get a few supplies and then decided to go get a con book for times. We happened to arrive just after the last event finished so we ended up talking to alot of peeps coming out the front door for almost 2 hours! lol XD then sleepy times!
Arrived at the con for day 2 *fairly* early and got the first kick in the guts... I had $100 which i thought would be plenty enough for 2 days worth of con for 2... but no, had to go get an extra $200 X_____X... I wasnt expecting that! arrwell... should have looked up the costs earlier ^^; ANNyways.. after that wondered about for a bit to check out the conspace then went into the dealers den to see what pretties were inside! XD
Talked to 2 gryphon for a bit and bought the one dvd i still hadnt gotten yet =P Totally should have gotten it signed but had no texta >.< (which i then went and bought but never got to see him again) *sadface*
Talked to Jen for a while! and got her wanting shirts from welovefine.com =D hehehe ^__^ looked at the pretty artz inside the art section.. wish i had lotsa moneh X_X
Pondered around a bit more then I think we went to lunch and came back in time to watch the Gaming panel! Lots of fun, Tinycat YOU AWESOME =D it sure was informative and hilarious! yey for the robo-cat thing in nuts and bolts.. that was EPIC! =D
I think we spent more time talking to people than attending events and such.
Later BC and Spence announced their love for each other asking eachother to marriage (again) with new rings after their previous rings had been stolen... was a very sweet announcement and was glad so many could turn up to witness <3
Then Crazy and I headed out with Kraden, Carni, Kaz and a bunch of others for nom foods!! =D which was super awesome and tasty! =D yey! Then we rushed back to be in time for 2's comedy performance! which was as always, entertainging and awesomely funnY! =D Much fun! and got a few video snippets too ^__^
Chilled for a little while before getting changed into "Priss" my black and red dragon suit! In prep for epic dance times! (I so wish we had gone to the one the previos night that mosky DJ'd! He said he had a line up just for us!! drum and bass and dub step alike! nuu!! we missed it!!)
BBF Dj'd this night and it was indeed very cool, loved the music, but like last year, the transitioning between songs and stuff pretty much stops and its hard to keep up dancing/bouncing around with no music beat XD so yeh.
After a bit we headed out to Anthrax's room to drink, chill and talk. It was mad!! XD Some of the stuff you people talk about! lol it sure was fun listening!! Poor crazy passed out and was all lifeless, no matter how much we poked yelled and moved him, he wouldnt awaken ^^; awrrr <3 I think it was the combo of homebrew and 'BAKON' vodka that put him out! poor foxy. When it was time to leave, the amount of struggle getting the fox back to the back packers was intense!! I had a nice lad help me drag him home (sorry i cant remember your name!!!) but thankyou!!!
Then sleep at like 4am X_X
Next day woke up at 10.30 (had to make sure we had the minimal 6 hrs ;P lol ) Crazy awoke still drunk XD and I made sure he downed lots of water!! We then went out and had brekky at a choclate bar that served eggs benedict for cheap! =D and nom drinks and nom choccys!
During that day we pretty much went to about 1/2hr of advanced art panel (never actually sat in the audience for any art panel before!) and most of the photography panel =D *yey cat!* ^__^ I had to exit early to get dressed for a photoshoot though. I had gotten Priss taken first which was lots of fun then headed to get Jasper set up! I had a 40min wait while other had their pics taken, but then had to wait 1.5hrs longer XD I eventually got there and had lots of sexy jasper pictures taken =D yey!
We went and got some din dins and went back to the con and chilled out with da CAT.. Atpaw and ate then went into to watch the No talent show. NOW THAT was awesome, had alot of funny moments and OMG colourful dude with dreads, YOU GOT DA MOVES!!! X"D I vote you win all talet ^__^ hehe and jibba agreed! =P
After the no talent I got into Priss and participated in the furlympics! =D I was on team 'vampire' (laaaaame) we didnt do too awesomely but was alot of fun!! (I managed to get my ball in the bucket) yey! =P After all that awesome fun it was time to get out of suit and cool down, the music for the night sounded like it was awesome! But we decided no dancing tonight. Instead... it was scotch con! XD That sure was alot of fun, got up to mischief and played the crazy pirate game XD along with some scotchness.
Then we had to head off to get sleeeep...
The next morning we got up and packed up our stuff and put it all in the car, then went out for brekky again, this time nandos and then sat on the grass near swanston st waiting for the fursuiters to walk by.. after a while we noticed they must have come the other way and we spotted them on the other side of the grass =P we chilled for a bit and talked to lots of peeps and took photos n such. Managed to run into just about everyone I wanted to say goodbye to during the madness and out front of the hotel =D then we trammed it down with enigma and Kat to Fed square and went to get the NOM WAFFLES I had SOooooo been wanting the whole time in melb! The waffles were as awesome always and they even sold that ever famous 'furry' drink Origina! lol
Then it was home time... we went and got the car and then headed to get crazys computer bits before starting the epic drive home. which in total was about 11 hours X.x Crazy drove most of the way, i was so dead tired. blarg. we stopped for dinner at a place in the middle of nowhere called the bellbird hotel.

In summary, Midfur was indeed vastly improved from the last 2 midfurs... the organisation was excellent! And it was good to see the organisers relaxed and not running around all the time, they actually got to chill and talk ^__^
I also think it was improved so much due to the fact the only badge check was at the front door, right where it should be! =D I didnt mind this at all, its appropriate and the door peeps were awesome. Security peeps were nice and chilled too, that was a nice change ^__^
The only thing that got me was that the upstairs rooms I only accidently stumbled upon when looking around. It was quiet and felt like you shouldnt be up there XD But they were good rooms and all!
Any improvements we felt was needed.. was that the 'until 3am' dances should only be on either every 2 nights or the first and last night of the con. mainly because hardly anyone was at the dances.. especially friday night there was like 1 or 2 people there every time I went down there O.o and we felt it could have been used as an artjam room or chill out area for every one to mingle and drink until late instead.
I REALLY hope to attend Decembers Midfur (as we still havent missed one yet since 2006!) I hope it will be awesome.. and hopefully much more affordable!
... yeh prices, although a little cheaper than previous years.. definetly for the amount of stuff going on, could have been alot cheaper still... IMO.... ^^;

News stuffs! Commish status and arts!
Posted 14 years agoGot some great news!! =D After only working for 5 months as a first year apprentice.. Recently I was told that in the new year I'll be able to start as a 2nd year apprentice ^__^ So that means I've fast tracked over 1/2 a year of my apprenticeship! ^O^ And I get a pay rise! =D
It also means I start 2nd year TAFE work ^_^ I can't wait!
In other news... I have a commission piece that will shortly be ready for a photoshoot to put up at whitechocolateandraspberry ^__^ He looks really cool, but my photoshoot wont suffice the true form it will be (as i'm much smaller than the owner) Hopefully I'll be able to aquire to good pic's from the owner when he's wearing it! I also have a couple more in progress before I strat taking anymore in the new year =)
Not much else happening at the moment.. hopfully a few new arts! I've been doing alot of fan art for mlp lately when i havent been inspired to draw something else. But I have a few new floofy ideas in the making!
Work has been very busy leading up to chrissy X__X but holidays very soon! (3 more working days! woo!)
Anywho... thats all for now!! I'll probly update again with the links to the new suit when I've taken some pictures =D

Tis a public holiday today which is awesome for an extra day of fursuit commish work X"D Trying to catch up on them a bit since I havent had much chances to work on them for a while... work has been very busy and it's still going awesomely! My 3 month probation period is this friday.. Soooo from then on, I am a permanent employee! yey! (Thats if i have been good enough to stay ^^; ) hehe, nah, I've been pretty good me thinks, so should be no problem there!
Nothing much else to say atm..... oH! FURJAM is this weekend! Shall be attending ^__^

Just random stuff.
Posted 14 years agoFelt like I needed to update my journal.
Work is going awesomely, getting lots of different kinds of jobs to do and even got to drive the transit van! X'D I was real nervous at first since its a HUGE van and biggest thing i've had to drive ever! But it turned out to be super easy! It even has a camera for reversing LOL! I guess I was worried so much because i have a record of being pretty bad at first time driving a different car that is manual =S.. but like i said! easy! =D *face is happeh!* I have to drive it a fair bit now so i was glad it wasnt giving me any grief =P
Tafe is fun! I like the fact we focus on traditional methods of sign writing and actually get to paint! =D Only thing is the brush set was $180 >.< set of 8 small brushes and one 50mm brush. But, its becasue they're made of sable and ox hair XD And they are truely awesome compared to regular brushes, it actually amazed me how much better a pricey brush was! =P
I will be competing in the world skills day this week too! I entered for the hell of it, I like competition and thought it be a good experience. I doubt I be any good since I've only been at tafe for 5 weeks now and i'll be againts 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students XD and IF I happened to be any good... I coulnt progress anyway because of my age >.> (I'm 1 year too old for nationals) My boss thinks thats stupid, but o well.
Ummm... fursuit commissions are going well! I've done alot more than I had thought i'd be able too in the last week so hopefully something new to show in my suit account soon! =)
I want to do more art stuff to post here, but havent had alot of spare time after the suit making... Perhaps I need to time manage better! ^^;;
Last Sunday was fathers Day here and I thought it be good to find my dad for fathers day.. be a good surprise! I hadnt seen my dad for nearly 6 years so I thought it be good to track him down this day. Crazy and I went and saw my grandparents who then told me where to find dad. And sure enough we found him and he was totally surprised ^^ All went well and I'm glad to finally do this =)
My awesome Crazy came to visit me at work a couple weeks back too! yey! 2nd work visit in a month ^o^ I owe him an epic friger tapper shield thing with drip tray for getting me a new keyboard and mouse (gaming style) for my compy and I think he got another video card too for my compy =D so we can watch movies on the projector and play games XD woot!

And sure enough we found him and he was totally surprised ^^ All went well and I'm glad to finally do this =)
My awesome Crazy came to visit me at work a couple weeks back too! yey! 2nd work visit in a month ^o^ I owe him an epic friger tapper shield thing with drip tray for getting me a new keyboard and mouse (gaming style) for my compy and I think he got another video card too for my compy =D so we can watch movies on the projector and play games XD woot!

Fursuit Commish's Closed, Updates and FURJAM!

FURSUIT COMMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR 2011 They will remain closed until the current list is complete, which will be around Feb2012.

Updates!!
Just a few little life updates ^^
A few weeks ago now I had a very nice and awesome surprise visit at work! ozkangaroo and Esp came ago to say Hi while they were in town ^__^ My very first visitors to my new workplace XD It was great to catch up with them and show them around!
That same day I was headed after work to Jindabyne to see Crazy race in snowboarding at Perisher! He did really really well that he was picked for the devo team in Hotham! I was unable to attend Hotham to cheer him on, but it was apparently rather hard icy snow, with crazy lifts and epic jumps that multiple people injured themselves on!
It's great to have my crazy back in one piece and home again!
Our chookin's have been pumping eggs like champions and Charlie has been maulting so much, you'd think a fox had come in and taken a chicken! But they're growing back nicely with nice new super soft feathers, she looks like new! (all the dirty brown feathers are replaced with clean white ones!)
Manifest is coming up, and I REALLY wanted to go for the first time this year~!! BUT... with work and low income, I am unable to go... again. *sadface*
Instead, Furjam is also coming up in October, and shirt orders finish the 1st of September, so get ordering!! X"D (jk!) I *hope* to attend furjam, but nothing these days has much certainty! ^^;
We still need to pay rego on our other run around car so that crazy has a vehicle for work.. and My motorbike needs a good looking at to get it going for rego too! X__X gyah.. expenses >.>
Commission work is going very well! Especially providing that full time work takes up most of my time now, but I think I have my commish stuff organised well enough so that it can be done, and I can work AND have sleep and chill out time! Here's hoping I can keep it up to have all commish work done in time for Midfur! ^o^

My new job is going very well! Having a blast and having good fun at TAFE too =D Its rather easy, but we get to do all kinds of new things every day! ^__^ (TAFE is a little like being in year 7 art class though, very basic art theory and colour knowledge, its easy for me so i can just fly though it ^o^ )
Anywho, here today to let you all know about FURJAM!! This is a Sydney based fur meet, happening this October 7th- 9th... I was lucky to be asked to do the design for this years T-shirt too! SOOooo BUY MY SHIRT!! X"D YAHAHH! =P

He's a pretty cool grey fox made to be semi realistic =D I think he turned out awesome ^__^
I have 2 more fursuit commissions to get done this year as well as a few other commissions! Life has been pretty busy and very full on since getting a job! But its worth it in the end now that I am finally earning an income of a sort! Art commissons and smaller commissions are still open! Fursuit commissions may be enquired if you're not keen for it too fast =P
Work has been pretty fun, I got to do some vehicle wraps on a mad off road racing VW beetle! I will post pic's up sometime in my scraps! =D Tafe is awesome, very full on and the teacher goes a million miles an hour! But all is well! I now have a fair bit of homework to do to catch up to the peeps that started at the begining of the year XD

Good news updates!
Posted 14 years agoSO! Its been 2 weeks since I started my new job..... and... I love it!! ^O^ I am having a blast!
It may be tedious here and there, but seeing a finished peice of work always makes you smile! (especially those with a nice design!) What do I do you may ask? Some have already asked this, and I guess I never actually said what I was doing! But I'm now an apprentice Signwriter =D pretty much think up any kind of sign you know of and thats what I'm learning to do ^__^ road signs, warning signs, real estate signs, banners, shop front signs, car decals, all that stuff!
Some things can be boring and repetitive.. like real estate signs.. damn people stop moving house!! XD Some are really pretty, some are HUGE (like the side of a tanker truck) and some teeny tiny. Its all good fun!
I also started TAFE this week too! its 200km from home.. but its alot of fun! get to do alot of artistic things! I'll be doing this once a week! =D
In other news, 2 weekends ago, myself and Crazy went on a bus trip to Falls Creek in VIC to go snowboarding! They just had 100cm of snow that week, and it was still snowing when we arrived! It was genuinely the best snow i've ridden on in australia! We don't normally have such a good decent amount of snow.. with powder! X"D It reminded me alot of NZ snow actually! We had hell of alot of fun! (oh but poor crazy banged his shin on a rail..hit it so hard that paint from the rail was on his pants!!.. he did eventually recover enough to ride again though! =D )
Trying to do more random art things here and there, it is hard to find the time now that I'm working AND have a few fursuit commissions to do!
Anywho, thats it for now!

She's finally gotten that job she's always wanted! =D Not just ANY job either! That 'dream' job/ preference I've been wanting to do for ages! ^O^ WOO!
And I start tomorrow! =).. and OMG its FULL TIME!! plus study! X'D Looking forward to what it shall be like YEYS!
Even though this is AWESOME news for me.. it may be SAD news for any one looking for suit commish's.. well.. not SAD.. It just means that they may take longer to complete now that I'm going from no work to full time ^^;

Aussie Furry Ski Weekend 2011

Just got back from Our Aussire Furry Ski Weekend >> www.furryskiweekend.webs.com @ Thredbo/ Perisher!!
This years snow looked promosing a couple weeks back, but for the meets weekend the snow had thinned out a bit too much for us to enjoy at Thredbo. We still stayed at the super cheap accomodation in Thredbo, but decided to venture off to Perisher for the fun!
We probly wouldnt have gone to Perisher if any other people attended, but there was only 4 of us, myself, Crazy, Mosky and Hendikins. And we all went off in the one car. =)
The fist day we decided to hunt around to for suitable photo shoot spots and observe the snow around the place. We got alot of good photos and videos care of Hendikins and Mosky! (yey! thankees!) Crazy, Mosky and I all got suited up and played about and posed in the snow.. and it was even snowing at the time! XD It was cold, but so much fun! ^_^
Day 2 saw us head out for a day out on the slopes! Only Crazy and I snowboarded, Mosky and Hendikins hung around for photos and videos, mostly of Crazy in suit doing his epic jumps and rails at the terrain park. I Did some 'following videos' where I was boarding behind or along side crazy in his suit videoing while he was in the terrain park =D Most of which turned out pretty cool! I'll try upload something soon ^__^
The snow to ride on was IMO really really good! Not slushy and not hard.. but not powder either. Just Good. The only problem was that we saw quite a bit of snow and rain during the day and it got very windy on those chairlifts! XD But it was worth it in the end =D We had a blast!

Next years FSW we plan to try and organise it for mid/end season, it will cost a little more, but hey, guaranteed snow!! The snowfeild may be changed also to make lift tickets cheaper. When we have figured out what we have planned and where, we will let u know and will try and get all information up for next years event sometime in the next few months, nice and early!

We had orgaised the new webisite 6 months in advance of this years event... but we unfortunately had a poor turnout (down to 4 peeps from 12 last year) (including myself and crazy! X'D We figured that there were other (and cheaper) events on at the same time, so we will try and make it on an event free weekend next year! ^__^
I will try and orgainse a poll, opinion board of somesort where we can see what peeps who are interested in coming think!
ANywho, we had a great time! AWWRR YEHHHH!!

ALOT of work went into this guy as you can probably see ^^; he's full of wires, plugs and airbrushing aswell as custom claw and jawset! X'D Definatly an experience!
So I am still open for commissions, including the artsy stuff like digital art, traditional art and con badges! As well as fursuit/ partials, ears and tails ect.
I've got 2 new suit commish's almost ready to post up! So if you'd like to see them, along with all my suit related things, keep an eye on whitechocolateandraspberry !! =D
I have also recently gotten (another) 2 new suit commissions, so they'll be something that I'll be working on ASAP! ^__^
Minfur is now Mijfur (XD!!!) Who'd have thought that? 2 Midfurs in one year! Yep, Midfur has been moved from December to November, and again now to January next year. With the move, I am glad I'd be able to have time to make my personal suit, as it didnt look too hopefull for November. And I'm glad it is a bit cheaper aswell! (But sadly no where near as cheap as a US con)..yet. *fingers crossed*
Now on to what FINALLY has happened... I've got a new computer! ^O^ My old computer I've had since early Jan 2004, so it just gone 7 years old. It was still working, but it was mega slow, couldnt barely handle photoshop CS very well, nor play youtube smoothly... besides that the HDD was VERY full. My mum gave me the money as a birthday present, and my awesome foxy Crazy, ordered the parts and built it for me =D <3 <3
In other news... still looking for a job >.> I had an interview yesterday, but... there was about 60 people there wanting the same thing... I dont like my chances >.<

Bass in the awesomeness of Darwin
Posted 14 years agoLast week Crazy and I headed off to Darwin.. (wayyyy way up north of Aussie land) To finally visit a good friend of ours we've known since primary school! We had to get this trip done this year as we'd been putting it off since he moved there a few years back.. and because he'll be moving to the UK next year!
Anywho.. here's my little journal entry of the awesome fun times! =DWednesday:
Drove up to Sydney and parked the car.. arriving only 10min before checkout closed! We didnt need to wait in line long as all people travelling to Darwin got to go up front! X'D lol then there was some discussion going on about our tickets.. i was worried that they had over booked or something! >.> But turned out our chosen seats were taken (over the wing) and we got moved to the front row priority seating!! =D Woo! So when we go to the gates (that said the plane was off to singapore) we checked it was stopping in Darwin before hand, then got to go on the plane first! ^O^ It wasnt as awesome as I had thought.. not that much more leg room.. and crappy fold up table. And no tv on a 5hr flight!
Arrived in Darwin, found our friend and caught a taxi back to his place. Relaxed for a bit and the headed off to town for some dinner at 'Thailicious' my chose was yummy, but no one else was very happy with the taste of the food. Chilled for a while and then headed back for some sleep!
Thursday:
Caught a bus into town and had a walk about! Darwin reminds me alot like Wagga Wagga.. a nice big town! (but with summer weather in winter!) I LOVE the temperature there in dry season! <3 perfect! Not too hot, but hot enough to go for a swim ^o^ We went past the 'wave pool' which was huge! it looked really nice too! =) Later we found a scooter hire place and enquired about hire prices ^_^
Later on we went to Mindle Beach markets =D I bought a painting of an indian girl with a foxy for crazy ^_^ and myself a tiny ceramic chicken XD
Friday:
We borrowed our friends, german friends car for the day to go to the Territory Wildlife park! We made it in time to see the bird show.. OMG I LOVED it!!! ^O^ Beautiful raptor bird, the Black breasted buzzard was such an awesome entertainer XD and showed us how to break open an emu egg <3 Was SOOOO cute!! I got video =D And the there was the Cocky's both sulpher crested and the black. <3 Lots of lorrikeets..meh.. and another I cant remember what it was called that flew from above, got a fish from the water and ate it up in a tree <3 After that there was a 'meet and greet' with the birds. I LOVED the young wedge *fave* raptor!! ^o^ <3<3 Got a photo with him ^__^ and crazy got a photo with the Roufus Owl ^_^ It was here we found
with the black cocky! =D After this Vamero took around the place for a bit until he had to go again. Everything about this wildlife park was awesome, I recommend!! Best one I've been to actually! =DAfter that we returned the car and went to hire a scooter (LOL) yes, I think scooters are the lamest things ever, but, our friend has a motorbike so we needed some transport. The cheaper option was to hire a 200cc scooter so that we both could ride around ^__^
We then went out to the Deck Bar for happy hour and had a few drinks! Then had to Taxi off to Hidden Valley to see a drift comp that someone crazy knew was competing in. We arrived just in time to see his first race and enjoyed watching the maddess for the night. On the finals, the dude we went to see was in it and ended up having a small prang with the other competitor, they came back for a rush fi and went back out to duke it. And in the end.. He won! WOO! It was a fun night! ^__^
Saturday:
Went out for a late brekky at Cornicopia, twas nice but pricey >.> then went next door to the free museum! It was GREAT! Couldnt believe it was free! Lots of birdys and lots of dinosaur stuff! And saw a taxidermied Croc called 'sweet heart' XD <3 even a Cyclone Tracey exhibit! ^o^ Awesome!! After that it was off to the Nightcliff foreshore for a looksie about.. very nice place!
Went home for a rest.. although the housemate was having drinks and loud music.. so we went off to the pool to relax =3
And then... it was off to BASS IN THE GRASS!! Ohhh YEHH!! We just missed Dead Letter circus (NUUUU!! :( ) But we saw all the main bands. Art vs Science was definetly the BEST out of them all performance wise... They ROCKED! Next was Birds of Tokyo... I didnt like them too much. Sneaky Sound System was pretty good entertainment.. but i dont fancy the music too much XD And last up was the Presets. We had literally *squeezed* our way to 2nd front row.... but it was nasty smelling, sper sweat fest.. and ew.... Coudnt hear the lyric up that close either! We ended up going back to the center for freash air and enjoy the music much better! We headed off about 2 songs before the end to avoid the crowd rush XD
Went home to change to go out. Taxi'd to Monsoons, but it was PACKED so we went next door to Wisdoms.. I loved that place.. lots of 90's music and not to loud.. good chill out bar! Then we went to Shinanigans for a bit and then wondered off to a place called Throb! This is a very popular bar with entertainment. Famous for being the 'gay bar' as it is "gay friendly" The show we watched was called 'Beyonce vs Gaga' where to tranvestites perform wonderfully a sort of song battle.. it was SOO good and hilarous! I'd go again and again! ^o^ Stayed there until 3.15!!! then.. taxi'd for bed XP
Sunday:
Went to some markets.. not sure which ones though! had some yummy nutella crepes! ^o^ Then after a while we decided to go to the water park! also FREE! And I was all "OMG FREE??" it was an epic water park for being free thats for sure! 3 big waters slides and and epic kids water park thing! FUN! <3
Umm.. can't remember what else we did beside rest this day.. I didnt have it written down! >.>
Monday:
Got up at 5.45am ready to go on an Eco Tour! We were on a small 22 person bus and headed off nice and early. We got about 40mins out of town and had to wait on a late comer to arrive. After another 40mins or so we were off! First stop was at the Adelaide River were we got on the boat for a 'Croc Jumping' cruise! Saw lots and lots of crocs, jumping up for their feed and some we lazy, some were epic. The biggest croc is about 70 years old at 6.4M long! He didnt jump though, they lured him to the bank to show us all how big he was! XD Saw more crocs then on the way back was a Kite feeding frenzy! This was epic and awesome!! <3 Love teh birdys!
Next up was the lunch break at Rum Jungle, then off to the termite mounds at Leitchfield Park. These are very unique 'Magentic' termite mounds only found in this one area in the world! The mounds are flat on 2 sides and skinny in the middle, the skinny ends are perfectly aligned E & W as this make them recieve the least amount of sun during the day to regulate the temperatures inside ^o^ Then we looked at the Cathedral termite mounds, were they are MASSIVE. (if you put your finger near a termite they spray you with enzyme which smells very fruity! XD lol
After this we headed to alot of different walks and waterfalls. Some were still closed for swimming due to possible crocs X'D But we did get to swim at some! =D
Epic awesome day and we headed off back to Darwin.. nice and tired XD
Tuesday:
First up went to the Fish Feeding and fed fishies X'D Had late brekky/ lunch at 'Cold Spot' then cruised around sight seeing for a while. Visited East Point and various other pretty places too! Had to take back the scooter, then walked back to our friends place. Chilled out in the pool for a while then played a giant chess board XD chilled out for a while then went for dinner with the drifting dude and his missus. Later chilled out some more.. Can't really remember atm what else happened! Lol!
Wednesday:
Up early to fly home =( *super sad face*

All in all the trip was awesome! Loved the beautiful weather... got a nice shock when we got home! (from 30c up there to 10c here X__x ) I would go again for sure, but crazy wasnt much of a fan of the nice weather XD heheh!

On another note, had another interview... wont know if I got the job until after the ANZAC holidays =S It was a very unexpected questioning.. I was mega nervous and stumbled over my words alot >.< But they seemed pretty desperate for staff ^^;; (as it got re-scheduled twice when I couldn't make it!)
A few suit commissions are going well and I also managed to sell my 'simple/budget' styled fursuit head 'Luke the Labrador' (seen in my gallery) Every one seems to like him!! =3 Which is good! I will probably do a few more heads like this to sell in the near future!
I dont have much to update since my epic long journal entry about furdu! But pretty much same deal as before... open for commissions and such!!

Posted 14 years agoThis journal will probably be a bit long... X'D.. no need to read the lot, this is mainly just a personal journal i wrote for my memories!
This time last week, Crazy and I were headed off to QLD for the first time and for the first time going to FurDu!
Thurs: Left 1/2hr late to drive up to Sydney and of course, there was delays and such which always give me fear of making us late. We eventually got to the Car Parking place with only 15mins to spare before check-in closes!! X___x Got in and checked in for tickets, then lined up to check in the bags, we were in line for about 30sec before it was announced those on our flight to go to the front and be checked in! SOO we were very close on missing our flight >.>... but.. as a plus, we didnt need to wait in line!! XD
Arrived at the Gold Coast and got picked up by Husky and Chevy who then took us to the hotel. After check in was all sorted we proceeded up to our room to dump stuff. XD
Went for a walk around only to find that this place was AWESOME there was so many great things that had to be seen!!! X"D and found a good $10 fish and chips deal =3
That night was rather restless, both crazy and I didnt sleep too good.. and at one point I screamed and scared crazy >.< (I never do that or talk in my sleep.. so yeh... bad night X.x)
Fri: We went to one of the awesome places I found the night before!! Ripleys Believe it or Not museum! YEEEYYYY!!! This place just rocked one thing after another!! What drew me in was the creepy but awesome animatronic display out the front... (I have ALOT of video of this and everything that I hope to edit up in the coming months.. when I get a damn new compy!)
After that we went to the Dracula's Haunted House! Which was just awesome all over.. but (IMO) totally not scary in the least.. just all the props and effects made it SOOO good!! (at one point a mum and her girls came through and chickened out at the kevin rudd ingestion part X'D)
After we finished this mad mad place we went back to the hotel to register and get badges! =) We then proceeded to get dinner!
After food it was time for the intro and dance! Everything was very well planned out and was presented awesomely ^_^ The dance was great even with not alot of lighting props, it looked like there was many! =) It was very pretty, loud and so much fun!! ^O^
Sat: Got up early to get ready to go to Putt Putt! ^_^ Although we ended up being late, we didnt miss a thing! We played the outside course, it was a really nice day =D Lots of fun and much silliness had! After that we had sushi train!! OM NOM! X'D
And theeeennnn it was time for Timezone!! Its been about 12 or more years since I last went to one, and this particular one is the largest in Aus! We got the deal $20 thing and played lots of sideshow type games and won some virtual tickets, then when the next hour rolled over it was time for Dodgems and Laser Tag!! (my armour thing was named 'pikachu' ! I was on the yellow team! X'D and crazy was Bumble Bee!) So much fun! But there was the few small children that stand in front of you and keep shooting over and over >.>... I didnt come last, but i did suck! X'D My best achievement was destroying one of the bases >:3 (got bouncy balls worth of tickets! XD)
Dinner break!
The Furry Game Show!! Now this was hilarious!! QLD vs TAS (or in other words.. everyone else!) Again, a very well organised event that went smoothly, much entertainment was had and enjoyed by all!! Loved every minute of it!! <3
Sun: After a late night, I got Crazy up to have some brekky and to then drag him along to the Smash Bros Tourney! Although it was entertaining and fun to watch, poor crazy was knocked out in the first round... (this does not help when the state champion was in it too! X'D) So after this I got Crazy to help me suit up for the EPICLY AWESOME PHOTOSHOOT by
! It was super awesome and so well set out, this tops ALL photoshoots i've ever seen!!! XD <3<3 (Will upload a couple shortly!)
Chilled for a while listening to Dyluck play the piano... which was rather awesome! especially when donkey kong country 2 music and banjo kazooie was played!.. WIN!
Then I claimed a spot for the dealers den. First time ever having a table at any con/selling stuff in person! And I finally got to sell some of my rainbow fluffs!! =D And.. I hadnt planed to, but I was also asked for some art! ^o^ So I did two artsie pieces too!! During the dealers den part, we had this awesme event called.. Iron Artist! Think Iron chef, but creating art, not food, although the challenge was making art.. with food! Cake and icing to be precise! X3 Everyone voices was 'dubbed' much like Iron chef and it was one of the funniset things ever!! I was dying with laughter!!! Kaz did some super cool voice overs here XD ... then a bit more dealers den, all up I made $100 =D This paid for our trip to Infinity! A mad laser/light show thing of weirdness, You got through lots of rooms in darkness or mirrors decked out with lights of insanity! It went alot shorter than I'd hoped, but it was pretty crazily fun! We went with a whole bunch of furs making it even more fun of an experience!
After this, we also got some din dins with a bunch of awesome peeps before heading back in time for the closing words and dance!
Here we heard the 'new' news for Midfur, changing its dates and that it was to be held at a convention centre! Technically it would be MiNfur now.. but they arnt changing the name :p.....The closing was nice and chilled, not too professional, so it gives that nice relaxed atmosphere ^__^ and then the dance begun!
It was here that I exited with Tinycat to discuss the next days happenings but we ended up just chilling in the games room with Hattie and Dyluck... which then merged into a Wii Games game! Hatties Wii has many many random Mii's on it, and I chose to be 'Dolf' the hitler mii! XD It was a nice long board game type game and with many hilarious moments, I really enjoyed chilling out with these guys and having a good game! I went to find crazy when I came across an epic synced dance fest in the dance room, all of them fursuiters! Too late for me to join, so i got out the camera and took much videos!! After that I went back to the games room were we played a 'how well you know me' type game.. i was quite fail, but when it time for people to guess my answers, Tiny Cat got 100%! EpiC XD
After that we finished and I proceed to find the Crazy and we flailed and danced pretty much until it ended! ^o^ Had lots of fun being silly pretty much on our lonesome in the smoke and lasers XD more joined in near the end and it was epic! After it had finished we helped with clean up to make everything faster for our busy con hosts! =D
All in all I had such a great time!! There was no boring bits or slow parts, just pure epic greatness! We'll be sure to attend next year!!

Tiny was super mecha-mc awesome pants to give me one of his old Gameboy Advance SP's with Pokemon Yellow!! X"""D! EEE!!!!! <3 I'm totally owing him something EPIC!! X'D Now I can play the advance games I've always wanted tooOOO!!! ^O^ AAWRRR YEHHHHH!!!! =D
Later that day we headed off to Oz Roo's place. Most were sleeping/ movie watching. I watched Atpaw work his magic on the photoshoot pics! X"D then we all piled into cars and went to Pizza Hut! (the kind with a buffet!!! XD).. (dont have ANY of these around no more!! so this rocked!) It was actually super nom and the dessert was my fave!! smidgen of ice cream drowned in hot choc fudge and choc chips!! =3 One nasy moment happened, crazy made a concoction of gross in his pepsi (pepsi being gross already..) he added colslaw, pizza, ice cream with cone.. and what ever else he had into this glass of gross....X.x... it looked like sick.. but the worst part was when Kaz drank it!!!! X___________X (I have it on film!!..or mem card to be correct XD) It was NASTY!!
Then back for some sleeeeeep X.x
Tues: I got up early and every one was asleep.. so I made this an opportunity to go to some caching in QLD =D The area around Oz's place is really really pretty, and I even found what I think was a small farm! (paddocks and horses too! XD) all in the middle of Brisbane =P Found the 2 close by and returned.. people still sleeping!! Went for one more and then people where awake when i got back =D
Went over the road to the mall for some foods for lunch and then soon after headed to the airport..... Now this is where it gets interesting!
We were dropped of by Oz at around 4 ish, 2hrs early for our flight, but Oz needed to go places, so that was all sweet. I checked in and as we put in our bags we hear that our plane is delayed 45mins... Hmm, ok.. thats not bad... hung around for a bit browsing stores.. then noticed our flight was delayed 1.5hrs!! X.x gah! Bought a souvenir and a book, crazy got a mag and then our flight was delayed even more! X.x... 3hrs!! Now.. its getting frustrating >.<
Now by 8ish Oz was back again dropping off another fur, and he asked if out flight was cancelled, it wasnt a that point, but only minutes later.. we all hear.. Our flight.. along with two others, is cancelled!! O_____O;; We noticed people running for their lives as if a bomb was about to blow... but we soon realised it was to get first in line for the re-booking! We walked.. fast.. and I made a good enough spot in line.. still about 1/2 hr or more until I finally got new tickets for the next day ... the line behind me... if it was stretched out straight, i reckon would have been a good 100m of people! As another 2 flights was then cancelled!
Why did this happen?? well it was all because in Sydney, 16 people went through security gates that were not working.. SOO the entire airport of people had to be re-screened! Even all the people on the planes!! X.x which in the end, cause 15 flights to Sydney cancelled as they were all backed up waiting for people =(
SOOOO... poor Oz took us back again... ;__; (sorry Oz!!)
Wed: Sooo New flights... today, Oz took us back.. again.. =( We got in and all was sweet... only 10mins late, but we got on! YEY!
Arrived all dandy, got the shutle to our car annnnnd.. the car wont start...*sigh* We were there for about 20 min and the car decided to work again... we figured the petty pump is on its way out!
Driving in peak hour.. slow... got to the Gong.. and... SUPER slow, checked phone why... 10 car accident on the HWY!.. gyah! Just close enough to squeeze by cars and take the exit into the gong itself. Got KFC.. Crazy locked the keys in the boot O.o... got it open after some effort >.>.... then headed home avoiding the affected part of HWY.
Eventually... we did get home! =D Gave chookin's cuddles!! We missed them very much ^__^

It was actually super nom and the dessert was my fave!! smidgen of ice cream drowned in hot choc fudge and choc chips!! =3 One nasy moment happened, crazy made a concoction of gross in his pepsi (pepsi being gross already..) he added colslaw, pizza, ice cream with cone.. and what ever else he had into this glass of gross....X.x... it looked like sick.. but the worst part was when Kaz drank it!!!! X___________X (I have it on film!!..or mem card to be correct XD) It was NASTY!!
Then back for some sleeeeeep X.x
Tues: I got up early and every one was asleep.. so I made this an opportunity to go to some caching in QLD =D The area around Oz's place is really really pretty, and I even found what I think was a small farm! (paddocks and horses too! XD) all in the middle of Brisbane =P Found the 2 close by and returned.. people still sleeping!! Went for one more and then people where awake when i got back =D
Went over the road to the mall for some foods for lunch and then soon after headed to the airport..... Now this is where it gets interesting!
We were dropped of by Oz at around 4 ish, 2hrs early for our flight, but Oz needed to go places, so that was all sweet. I checked in and as we put in our bags we hear that our plane is delayed 45mins... Hmm, ok.. thats not bad... hung around for a bit browsing stores.. then noticed our flight was delayed 1.5hrs!! X.x gah! Bought a souvenir and a book, crazy got a mag and then our flight was delayed even more! X.x... 3hrs!! Now.. its getting frustrating >.<
Now by 8ish Oz was back again dropping off another fur, and he asked if out flight was cancelled, it wasnt a that point, but only minutes later.. we all hear.. Our flight.. along with two others, is cancelled!! O_____O;; We noticed people running for their lives as if a bomb was about to blow... but we soon realised it was to get first in line for the re-booking! We walked.. fast.. and I made a good enough spot in line.. still about 1/2 hr or more until I finally got new tickets for the next day ... the line behind me... if it was stretched out straight, i reckon would have been a good 100m of people! As another 2 flights was then cancelled!
Why did this happen?? well it was all because in Sydney, 16 people went through security gates that were not working.. SOO the entire airport of people had to be re-screened! Even all the people on the planes!! X.x which in the end, cause 15 flights to Sydney cancelled as they were all backed up waiting for people =(
SOOOO... poor Oz took us back again... ;__; (sorry Oz!!)
Wed: Sooo New flights... today, Oz took us back.. again.. =( We got in and all was sweet... only 10mins late, but we got on! YEY!
Arrived all dandy, got the shutle to our car annnnnd.. the car wont start...*sigh* We were there for about 20 min and the car decided to work again... we figured the petty pump is on its way out!
Driving in peak hour.. slow... got to the Gong.. and... SUPER slow, checked phone why... 10 car accident on the HWY!.. gyah! Just close enough to squeeze by cars and take the exit into the gong itself. Got KFC.. Crazy locked the keys in the boot O.o... got it open after some effort >.>.... then headed home avoiding the affected part of HWY.
Eventually... we did get home! =D Gave chookin's cuddles!! We missed them very much ^__^
