AWESOME FURRY SKI WEEKEND

Our little furry meet: " AWESOME FURRY SKI WEEKEND (AFSW)" Was AWESOME! ^O^
Started off driving to Canberra last Thursday night, and as always, just missing a few of the local suicidal creatures. ie: Kangaroos, bunnys and wombats. Saw a few of the non suicidal like Foxies and even a deer!!! on the road O_o... first deer I've come across XD
After all that we made it safe and sound to the ACT and crashed at some ungodly hour in the morning!
Friday morning we got up, met up with Phoenix Fox and Mosky to go get booze and for the weekend ahead! Then dropped off out car and packed out stuff into mosky's Jackaroo! Then started off on our journey ^^
Not far out of the ACT cruising along with phoenix in tail, we hit a snag... a bit off a bangy noise and some reported black smoke, we stopped. We we'nt sure at first what had happened but a little further down the road it had come to conclusion we had lost 2 working cylinders... so it ran on the 2 left for the rest of our trip! It was VERY slow on uphills, and slow in general. Took about an hour longer to get to our destination, but we made it! and thats all that counts! XD
We got to the lodge in Thredbo, unpacked and waited for the others to arrive. After a little brief we headed out to eat some nom pizza, served by an apparent "angry lady" (i didnt get her, so i'm not sure how angry was angry!) XD Nommed foods, went back to the lodge watched a few things on the projector we brought then headed to bed!
Saturday early start, got ready... and stupid me packed EVERYTHING except out parka and pants >o< *RAGE!*.. even forgot the sensor bar attachment for the wii.. so that was pointless too. *sigh* I loose... SOOOO crazy and I had to go hire the parka and pants for the weekend ;___; not as awesome as our own gear, but it got us thru!
After eventually getting everything, we headed out to the slopes! Nice sunny day and enough snow for a bit of fun, tho wished there was more! It was good enough for us anywho!
Headed out ALL day practised using some of the table top jumps for the first time too XD Mosky got lots of footage!
After much fun, stacks and snowboardy goodness, we headed back to have a nice hot bath and then proceeded to suit up and go see the Village cam! This village cam is one of Thredbo's snow cams you can watch to keep an eye on the snow conditions, so we decided to go to this one and stand in front until we got our selves on the camera! XD We stood out there for a while, and after being caught looking like idiots, we finally got caught kinda posing ^_^ >> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4031785 Spence and Sky got screen shots of us! In the pic is Mosky (in Tacoma) Sky, Crazy in the white floof and myself on crazys shoulders in the grey floof!
After this we wondered the village freeking out a few people, exciting a few people and even scared the 'angry pizza lady' XP I even got called the 'crack fox' from the Mighty Boosh! lol It eventually got rather warm and we decided to head back to the lodge. We ate in this night, relaxed, some drank, some slept, some went out to the pub!
Eventually we went to sleep X.x
Got up sunday for another blast on the slopes! but before leaving crazy waxed up some boards and then he and I both got suited up to go out snowboarding in suit!
This was awesome fun! Lots of people loved the suits and kids digged it too! Alot of people called us 'dogs, puppys, cats, possums, yetti, abominable snowman, wolf, foxys and others! it was funny ^_^ I made out suits to have excellent vision purposely made for the snow! and it worked really well the whole day! lasting stacks, rain, snow and the goggle didnt even fog up! it was great! Again, lots of footage taken aswell by Mosky and on my camera by multi peeps (will upload when I get my camera back!) XD
After a long day, we had to head back to return our gear, take peeps back to their cars and to pack up and go back to canberra. Another interestingly slow trip, but we did make it! YEY! Very sore (as if hit by multiple road trains) and tired.
But before going to sleep that night we decided to watch Paranormal Activity! lol... at first a bit boring and not sure if i'd like it, but then gets really interesting and even a little freeky! I think it was pretty good, but poor crazy had to watch a happy movie before he could go to sleep =3 *cuddles him tight* *kisses* <3 hehehe
In the morning, it was SO hard to move... even after doing stretches before bed,my everything was just in pain! XD
We eventually left and went to see Prince of Persia sands of time. I really liked it! So glad its at least very much like the game ^_^ tho the prince wasnt quite the character i was expecting, every other character was spot on to the game XD
Drove back, and now home.. time to flop into bed for a good nights rest! =3

Some of you may have noticed a few new pictures up ^_^ those are of my newest commissions that I had been working on since Feb =3 These are what have taken alot of my spare time up since then and also, the little bit of work I had aswell XD
There will be a couple more suits to show shortly aswell ^_^ along with a few pictures too!
In other news...
2 Sense is back!! 2sense 2.2 is here, after so long, but I'm glad its just as awesome as before ^o^
A little over a week from now is FSW! (Crazy and I's "Furry Ski Weekend") with a total of 13 attendees and an awesome lookout for snow, it looks like it's going to be a great weekend ^_^ We were at first worried as there was NO snow a week ago, but recently there has been snow making and 10cm of fresh snow falling on the slopes! =3 Cant wait to get on the board!! Woo!
Will update again soon!

Posted 15 years agoBack from working! So many more things to be posted!! Oh yes! This time I am positive and promise! Photos, commissions and some artsies too! XD
Although it was nice to get a bit of income while i did some temp work, it is good to be back into doing my own things again ^^
Getting my commissions knocked over in time for their due dates and also, getting my own artsie things done as well! I look forward to doing some more Photoshop work! XD YEY!!
And the best thing as well, is that the snow season is just around the corner! a little over a month from now is our own little furry snow trip to Thredbo ^_^ Looking forward to boarding again! Missed it so much! XD Eee!!

I feel like I've been away from here way too long, but really, i havent! Tho I must admit I haven't been very artistic while I've been away.. In the picture/image kinda way. I've been working ALOT on some other commissions that I hope to have all complete by May! ^_^ Along with some personal projects, i should have alot of nice things up in my gallery very soon! XD
Crazy and I's little chickens are doing well, full of feathers and very entertaining XD Still yet to get their more recent photos up! :>
Dont have a hell of alot to say, but needed to update to show I'm still around! XD (probly repeating myself the same as my last journal XD)

Back! AND soaked!
Posted 15 years agoSOME of you may have noticed I havent been active for a bit over a month now.. this is because i've been away with some temporay work and didnt want to go on FA til i got home! But i'm here longer than expected, thus why i thought i couldnt wait any longer and had to check our whats happening ^^
SO some updates i suppose! No art had been created in this time, a couple of sculptures, so furry making things, almost all stuff i cant put up until its finished XD
Out chookins are getting huge! like mini full grown chooks XD (all feathers, but small) XD I will get their photos up soon too XD
Besides all that!
Australia is quite wet ATM XD REALLY strange/rare for it to be really wet at this time of year... in our region, especially where i'm from. We broke the record of rain for an avearge march rainfall in less than a day! a few hours infact! Our almost dried out lake is full again within a day, which hasnt been able to have boats in it for years until today XD
Now this mass downpour happened yesterday, while i was on my way home from the coast! Little did i know the severity of the rain towards home until i was almost there. I was faced with a road closure, so i had an extra almost 2 hours added to my trip to detour to get home. The HWY i would normally take was flooded XD
So that was pretty insane... especially for an area that was practically drought ridden.
Before i even left the coast there was a fire on the side of the HWY there, which had taken a surf shop and motorbike shop >.> so that was sad.. hot and smoky.
This weekend gone, crazy and I went to the weasels house, met his mouse (twig?) sorry i forgot XD, Robbie and phoenix were there too and we went of to go Go-Karting! two others were there too, that i didnt actually meet, so im not sure who they were XD Go-Karting was super awesome, my first time, and yes i came last by alot! but i had fun ^^
After that, we went to the beach! which was the most awesome beach experience i've ever had! there were waves! XD had alot of fun =3 Crazy got stung by something and twig got smashed by a wave and got sand graze >.>
After that, we went back to the weasels and had drinks! watched random stuff and chilled out (after finding out the movie we were going to see was booked out) but had a good time ^^
Anywho, i'll be sure to update/add more at a later date when i'm back on *my* computer XD with photos! and maybe some drawings if ur lucky >:3 mwahaha!

Chookins!

We had a total of 7 little chicks hatch yesterday from sometime early morning (around 5am, until late last night/this morning at 1am!) And a late comer at lunch time today!
So we got a total of 8 little chicks! 5 eggs haven't done anything and 1 died on hatching ;_;
The first 4 chicks are in the brooder box and the newest 4 are still in the incubator drying out XD
The first chick to hatch I've called Arnie, cause it was the first to bust out hours and hours before any others! And trompled all over the eggs and chickens through the day :p and its the biggest!
When the 4 newer chicks are in the brooder I will take some photos and post them up! ^___^

Posted 16 years agoJust felt like submitting a random journal to say that our little eggies are starting to crack and peep!! XD
Crazy and I brought back with us (from his muma's place) some eggs from her chooks and the incubator! We've had 14 in there from day 1, and after candling them a few days ago it looked like 10 we're definetly filled with a chick! the other 4 had something, but a little clear.. they havent bursted yet.. so i left them to see how they go.
Anywho, the tiniest egg from a bantom chook had the first crack~! a little X on the shell tonight at 10! I was super happy 'cause that means all is well! and now, 1.14am two more eggs have a nice big X crack in them and I heard them peeping! XD This is my first time hatching chicks, so I'm pretty excited XD
Other then the egg news, I have a few commissions up my sleeve to get started on and another to finish! Plus a bunch of artsie ideas too! (no idea when I'd get them done.. but hey! maybe i can get over my artists block i seem to have) ^^''

Posted 16 years agoFinally back after... uhh..not sure how long ^^;
But chrissy and new years past while i was away! =3 Happy New year and merry happy present day to all! XD
I dont think i can remember all that has happened while away, nor in any order! But I'll give the jist of it anywho.
For chrissy i got a big wolf head ornament from my sister ^___^ it is very awesome. I got some other random stuff, like cook books and sheets and a gift card for spotlight ^_^ (awesome crafty/fur store) =3 I got crazy a slushie machine and we made many -a- slushy... twas good for this weather we have ^^
Project betty is complete.. well, the most of it. Betty is Crazys car that we have been doing up since Dec '08! finally had time to put the final bits back on and put in a new diff (which i spruced up XD) there was alot of hassles with alot of things on it was quite costly, but in the end she finally got rego'd ^__^ ( unfortuantly, on our trip back today, her map sensor went and all hell broke loose for about 3 hours unitl crazy got her going enough to get home) cant be bothered with details :p
We got some eggies! Right now the incubator is getting warmed up to put the eggs in so we can hatch some little chookys! XD Hopefully all goes well!
Saw Fantastic Mr. Fox on 1-1-10 i thought it was great! ^___^ realy well animated and funny too XD OH! and we saw Avatar in 3D... (told many-a-time how awesome it was and that i should see it) and Wow, that movie was something. SOOOO beautiful and very awesome 3D-ness I was quite impressed!
I didnt get to draw anything all holidays. Besides not alot of time, it was simply too dam hot. I cant draw when not in the mood and heat just makes you not want to do anything. >.> Soo, I will be finishing a comissh and maybe post some older sketches i found i hadnt posted yet.
NEW YEARS RESOLUTION!?
Do you have one? I do! That is to find a decent job. Hopefully close to home, and of decent wage! I hope to find one that will make me happy and one that doesnt make me dread having to go to it every day.... if i feel this way, its not decent and i have failed my NYR
Also another is to go to New Zealand with Crazy to go snowboarding!! ^o^

Posted 16 years agoWell.. right now its supposed to be summer.. but its been raining and is rather cool here too >.>
I know the rain is good for us, but cant it go somewhere more needed??? like home! RAWR! XD
I've uploaded a bunch of midfur xi 2009 photos, its not much, but they get repetitive so i only put some up.
Next up will be some photos of the accident.... ;_____; it definitely looks like its probably not fixable, but Crazys brother is going to check it out for me to see if anything can be done. *crosses fingers* this little vixen cant afford to get another one.. being jobless and all >.>;;; (what happened you ask? maybe you should read the end of my super uber long midfur post i did XD that explains everything ^^) http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1079251/

Smashed after Midfur!!!
Posted 16 years agoArrr Midfur, what a glorious and outrageous event it was! Including a rather smashing ending ....
Lets start from the beginning shall we??
Thursday 3rd Dec:
Got up nice and early at Crazys brothers house to ensure we were ready in plenty of time as to not miss the flight!! Got a lift to the airport a good 1/2hr before boarding, dropped off our bags and proceded to get some morning noms! XD I had an expensive ham and cheese crossiant, which was supposed to be toasted, but was rather icy cold in the middle >.> After noms, we went through security gates and I get chosen for the random bomb/ drug check thing they do....-_- Went up stairs to board the aircraft and before long we were ready for take off! I'd only been in a plane like that once before, and once in a 4 seater one. I think i prefer the bumpier small ones to the larger type. Oh! and on the topic, the week before midfur I got to go in a Helicopter for a ride XD it was good fun! (photos will be up of that too!)
Anywho, we got to Melbourne, waited for ages for out bags to come through, grabbed a skybus and proceeded to the Hotel.
We got there around lunch time, checked in and went upstairs to unpack. We then headed to QV to grab brekky food, milk, utensils and of course, Booze!
After that we got our Rego neck thingies said hello to some peeps, crusied around the dealers den to see what was on there then headed upstairs for a rest. Later on I went back down to the con to give badges to some people and was told that the con area was closing because someone had stolen the Midfur X poster from last year... (which was framed and worth quite alot of money as it was auctioned last year!) My first thought was they are over reacting becuase a member of the staff probly took it for a joke or maybe moved it elsewhere... its a huge poster and would easliy be taken outside the hotel.
I then headed back up stairs to tell crazy that it was closed for the time being and wont be open until the 'cocktail party'
Night starts to fall and everyone is out side awaiting entrance to Bobby Magees. Due to the theme of "Midfur at the Movies" there was a red carpet and weird looking security people, and rather umm..domintaing volunteers? (in other words, some were rude) and the cast of Actfur making a show and talking to some people as we walked in. I got talked to, or 'interviewed' maybe because I was dressed as Pirate for the evening ^^
We got inside Bobbys which is a club like bar designed like the streets of Hollywood, very very nice place i must say!
Had a few drinks, some people dancing to the ultra crap music (sorry but a regular song with continuous, repetitive beats in it was really annoying IMO.) Anyways, there was then a pause for a small show, some flame throwers and a fox- Indiana Jones running in with the Midfur X poster, being chased by... something? and some bad guys happen and get defeated ect. it was entertaining. Thankyous and announcments were made and then the night went on until close.
Friday 4th Dec:
Got up reasonably early to watch the 'your first fur con' panel.... this is my 4th midfur.. but it was hosted by 2 gryphon, so we thought we'd go watch it anyways! ^^ After that i decided to go get suited up in my newest fursuit i created, Jasper. Went back down, got alot of comments and went in to watch the 'making a fursuit' panel, very interesting and you learn some new things too! It was hosted by BC wolf and some others, It was very awesome ^^
After that I got out of suit and i think we went and got some lunch? I cant really remember.. but when we got back we sat down to watch the 'furs in the movies' panel. It was hilarious!! I enjoyed it alot! I can only remember Lupie being one of the hosts because i know him, but there was a lady there who is famous for somthing i cant remember and also the director of "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" He is a very awesomly funny guy and made it very enjoyable with all their stories!
Then i got my art book and went to visit the artjam area.... not many people in there doing anything, but i spent my time there drawing a special gift picture for Kraden, as he drew one for me the day before =3
After that, stuff happened.. what exactly i wouldnt remember, there was alot happening all the time! XD I got back to our room where i got dressed up again, this time as a random Zombie! ^^ i had to do some really quick umm.. wound making? pretty much got out the liquid latex and built up some evil wounds ad painted myself in body paint to be bleeding and bruised, then driped some tasty stage blood into it all! got help from Rob wolven to mess up my horrid hair and then we cruised down to 'friday night wild'..... we were presented with a video made like a saw movie, it was realy good i thought! All of which was made to unveil the "mysterious special guest of honour" whom tunred out to be Uncle Kage. I was slightly let down as i thought it was going to be someone everyone knew but least expected. Dont get me wrong! I love kage! But I thought he was already going to be at the con because i recall the details of events on the website stating that "uncle kage was going to be the host of the story telling panel" which of course is who'd you'd expect to be on it anywayz! lol
Anyways, back into suit after brutally ripping off my latex wounds (worse than bandaids!!! i wasnt expecting that.. first time attempting such stuff >.> )
Went back down as Jasper and got alot of attention from very excited/happy or really drunk furs ^^ it was good fun and Kraden fed me booze with a straw into my suits mouth! XD I got lots of hugs and lots of photos and the night went on for a long while. After which we went up to a room party for a 'taste test scotch con' i didnt have any but crazy and enigma did ^^ i was hot and sleepy and still in fursuit, it was hard to pay attention to people talking. But soon enough we finally got to our room and decided we'd get room service. it was 1.58am the menu sounded tasty and we were hungry!!! ( it also said "all night menu 11pm- 6am) we rung up to order and were told they close at 2 am!! >.> that was a dissapointment, and crazy was not happy jan. so brekky food was late night dinner food.
Saturday 5th Dec:
Slept in ALOT! so much that after we got some brekky foods and got back the fursuit photo shoot was over ;_; (why it ended earlier than scheduled, i do not know >.>.... other wise i wouldnt have missed it) *sigh* anyways i rushed to get suited up anyway in hopes to get in, but alas they bailed on me.... i got there and robbie was standing in there looking out the window, i went over to see and out side was the people with cameras! They even had a mic and could talk to us from out side to the inside speakers, but they couldnt hear us. Robbie and I posed for photos and eventually more and more suiters came in for the photos in the window and we got alot of weird looks from passers by. XD
After that i found out the cos play panel wasnt going to be on and almost got to be a host for it with jen, but they decided to have a longer live ACTfur show on instead. For the begining i was getting out of suit and into my Link ears, wig and hat and then cruised down with crazy and my puppet fox to watch the show.
After that we went hunting for foods in the street, still with my fox puppet and link head. I got alot of 'aaawrs' and cute!! looks, some seemed to think i was holding a real animal at times as i made it look at them and move around >:3
THEN when we got back and i got into my Dr. Steel toy soldiers uniform and went down to watch the talent show. The talent show was really entertaining! I thought it was great! Kell Bangal's super fast voice thingy he did was amazing and Anthrax's stand up was hilarious! He was even asked by 2 and uncle kage to open their act for next years Midfur!! how awesome is that! XD
After that, it was dinner time and all the "gold class" attendees got to go eat with the guests of honor.... BUT we, went up the the top floor pool with a some furs and ordered pizza. ^_____^ it got a bit cold up there, but we had a good time =3
When the time came we went and got ready for the "gala" ball. there was no ball of any sort, just ravey, techno music and furs drinking and dancing. Tho before i go on, i must say, it was rather irritating that i had to all the way back to my room to get my mid fur pass, when i had been there for 3 days and obviously notable as an attendee as i was in a fursuit.... >.> security was a bit weird too... i think they were taking the con a bit too serious then they should have, it should be fun and have people helping out with happy faces... some peeps were a bit serious, unhappy looking and very picky about were you go and what u do. *sigh* because of that, i really miss the good old days midfurs.
BUT i had an awesome time, i actually danced! (omg ... me... dance??! what!?) yes.. i 'try' dance only when i'm in suit... i hate to out of suit, cause i really CANT dance... very unco and retarded at it.
I kept having to stop and have a break, crazy got me water and i talked to some furs aswell each time, it was good fun! it went on until midnight when the place closed...*awwrr*
Then got out of suit and crazy and I went up to Robbies room to relax with some furs and watch UP. We gave robbie all our foods and drinks as a parting gift XD and we went to bed, ready for a very early morning!
Sunday 6th Dec:
Arrr early mornings... 6.30 am, we are packed and ready to roll, got a taxi orded, left the rest of our foods at robbies doors with a kind "houskeeping!!" knock (lol) and we were off the the trainstation to get the skybus to the airport!
We couldnt stay at Midfur for the last day ;__________; i was very sad i couldnt be there and crazy was too. But we were already committed to going to a friends wedding this day. So we flew back to canberra, helped out crazys bro with his boat, relaxed a bit then got ready and dressed up for the Wedding.
Weddings are long and tediuos, the main part get over with really quick, then the food part comes much later. Alot of standing around waiting and being awkward.... crazy and I didnt know anyone really besides each other... but when we got tables, our table people were quite funny to be around, so it was good! and the food was yummy too =3 (plus free beer and wine!)
We got some photos and took off not long after the meal, it was getting late, and after all that midfurriness, i was tired! Twas good to get back and get to bed before 12am for once :p
Monday 7th Dec:
Got up early because everyone in the house we were at had early work starts. Looked on the net for a movie to go see, decided to go see New Moon (i am a fan of the books, i thought it would be good! XD ) arriving at the movies late as usual, i went in while crazy got us some food. of course, ad's go forever so by the time crazy got back with food, he'd missed only a few minutes of the movie itself.
It was an OK movie, but i'f you've read the books, they skipped alot of info and alot of awesome parts, so it was a good story that had been chopped up and scattered into some scenes. But the wolfies make up for it ^^
We were going to stay to watch Avatar, but it wasnt showing at that cinema >.> So we decided to head home. on the way, we had to pit stop to pick up an air conditioner and some lunch.
It was good to finally be on our way home after nearly a week being away. We took our usual 'shortcut' home, out in the middle of nowhere, thru some nice small country towns. It was nice, i like driving off the HWY... Not far out from Terago, while crazy was napping, something happened and he was rather rudely awoken by some crazy vixen (myself).
I cant pinpoint exactly why it happened, but i ran on to the soft gravel shoulder of the road, swerved off it, back on to the tarmac, spinning around fast and ending up backward into a tree in a ditch. At first i thought "did that really happen? what a dick!" *insert swear words ect ect* then i turned around to look at what was behind me. A big tree and a crumpled back end. That did it... i broke down into tears... probly from shock but i was thinking about what I'd just done to MY ute! My ute that we had so many plans for to make it awesome, i love my ute so much and i coulnt believe what i just did to it.... i was very upset. Crazy took me away from it to settle down and some cars that went by checked to make sure we were ok, one couple went to there home to ring up a tow service for us (there was no mobile reception out there)
So while we waited for the tow guy to come, i took photos. When the tow guy came he had to drag the back end sideways away from the tree and be put on backwards, the front was too deep in a ditch to come out forwards, plus a tyre had come off the rim.
We got a lift back to Terago and got the tyre blown back up and another had to be cleaned out with all the debris stuck between the rim and tyre. The diff and chassis seemed all good and since the front was all sweet still, it still ran. replaced a globe where the tail light got pulvarised and taped on the broken lens to be able to drive back home.
This time, crazy drove XD theres alot of dirt road and roadwork down that way and he decided to take a 'shortcut' which in fact was a very long cut because it was a dead end and the only way out was to reverse... it was a steep soft dirt truck hill with rocks. it took a few attempts but we eventually got out! ^^;;;; *luckily*
Stopped for noodles then got home!! *pass out*
Unfortuantly, the ute is not very legal to drive as is... probably a write off technically.... gunna have to get my self a good job asap and save up for another ;_; although, i wish i could have IT as my project ute, i'll miss it, i already miss the sound it makes.. it sounds diffenernt after that! >.> hopefully i can get another cheap enough and use my utes insides for it... or something... but that cant happen until i have money again O___O; *sniffles*

Unfortuantly, the ute is not very legal to drive as is... probably a write off technically.... gunna have to get my self a good job asap and save up for another ;_; although, i wish i could have IT as my project ute, i'll miss it, i already miss the sound it makes.. it sounds diffenernt after that! >.> hopefully i can get another cheap enough and use my utes insides for it... or something... but that cant happen until i have money again O___O; *sniffles*

My compy got sick... real sick,, so sick it was frustrating *RAGE!!!!!* but i was able to do some back up of important things like artsies, photos and music XD then crazy formatted it for me.... SOOO right now.. its got nothing. not even internet. nothing. Just using the laptop unitl i can get the compy set back up with PS and OC and all the good artsie things that let me draw!!! XD hopefully get that done on the weekend so i can get more pictures up!!
Almost finisihed my new fursuits arm/paws! once thats done, it will be ready for Midfur!!!! XD I also have a fursuit commisson i'm doing thats going well too! SHould have that done hopefully by the new year XD

Commissions!Who would seriously consider a commission by me?

On tuesday I got all my wisdom teeth removed...it was crappy as you might imagine. When i woke up from the IV i got fed like a baby, cause i couldnt do it myself with no feeling in my mouth at all! that was embarrassing ^^;; then i had to take some drugs to ease the pain later on...that was harder, they kept getting stuck and it was not a very nice experience. I was very dopey on my feet, kinda like being tipsy XD And the first thing we did after that was go to
kraden's house! I want to thank Kraden and his muma for helping me and putting up with me =3
After that crazy and I went to see some more friends, who gave me a huge bag of frozen peas to ease the pain ^^ then we went out for dinner, which sucked hard core because there was so much yummy food i couldnt eat! ;___; i had soup..>.> and slowly ate some bread with it...i coulnt wait to eat real food again...
Today its been a few days since and i still cant eat yummy foods, still need the drugs... but lucky to have hardly any swelling ^^ (sorry kradz, no chipmunk face for me!) XD
Just been refurbishing some old drawers and getting some commissions done! ^^

Motorbike, manson and PAIN
Posted 16 years agoWell.. it has been a very busy couple of weeks... well.. at least it seems that way XD
Been working a few days, then getting some commissions done. Also just finished painting an old fridge! ;p
My motorbike has been slightly pulled apart and Crazy has been cleaning it up, changing the oil and filter, cleaning cables and the chain and all that awesome jazz to make it better =3
BUT since it has been raining ALOT, the ground is all soft and squishy. i was sanding the fridge.. and when i was done i turned around and to my horror, my bike stand sunk into the ground where crazy had left it after doing some degreasing and my bike was sideways ;__________; i could smell petrol and ran to find crazy to help me lift up again... But he'd gone to work >.>... so i ran back and with every ounce of strength i squatted down next to it, held the handle bars and forced myself to lift it back up... it was intense, nearly gave up but i didnt want it lying sideways so i made myself pull it up. HEAVIEST thing i've ever lifted >.> it weighs 163KG dry... it had petrol and water, but no oil at the time so i'd say around 170KG.... and me, a 55kg weak being lifting it up.... yeh it made me sweat. gah >.>
***edit!*** forgot to mention that the gear lever snapped off and the rear indicator did too >.>... but managed to get replacements easy ^^;
Later that night and the next day i had the most painful back ache ever...;_; But its better now...i blame the bike for its pain, but i had also help move the heavy ass ancient fridge that day too... it can take a bit of the blame too XD
ANYWHO
Tomorrow I am off to Sydney to go to the MARILYN MANSON CONCERT!! YEH!! XD (this is the 2nd time going, hopefully it will be more awesome than last time >:) the last one was the heart shaped glasses tour and it was the boringest concert i'd been too. But the new album sounds better, and hopefully his performance will be too ^^ (i used to be a MECHA manson fan, til heart shaped glasses came out... trying to keep the love going!)
I will going with my sister, and plan on dressing up as a crazy punk goth...(yes i love dressing up and its a rare occasion that i ever get to!) hopefully get some photos up ^^
Other than that.... next week i'm getting ALL my wisdom teeth removed... I am quite freeked out by this and will be dead broke for a long time to come...and be in pain too... i had to borrow some money cause i didnt have many commission takers ;__; (which are still open Btw! i wont be working for at least a week or too afterwards and will have time to do more commissions!!).. maybe i'll post a commission journal later.
Umm.. on an unreleated note.. my mouse is going flat..(i love u mouse that lasts for nearly a year on one set on batteries!... keyboard is still kicking tho!)
I have lots of art for a commission i did that will be posted as soon as i'm allowed to! XD a few personal pics aswell and photos of my new suit!! =3

Posted 16 years agoLast weekend was furjam, and it was one hell of a weekend! (the drivng in sydney was intense and frustrating... to the point i didnt know what was what! i relied on my tom tom, who did well, but got lost sometimes, and possibly didnt warn me about a red light camera that i may or may not have been caught on...(due to slow turning traffic >.>;;; ... lets hope it didnt)
Anywho, friday arvo Crazy and I headed toward Sydney.. a bit later than expected, but was ok cause by the time we got there, peak hour was over XD. We arrived at Robbies to pick him and Phoenix foxxy up to go to the Rose. When we got there, i think there was about as many peeps as last year, alot of new faces (including the only two other girls that were there XD ) and alot of familiar faces, whom names i mostly forgot. Crazy and I had dinner in the restaurant part, which was nice ad fancy and we had an awesome waiter who catered to our every need, he even put the napkins in our laps and topped up our water XD we had yummy BBQ king prawns ^o^ and wine... well, crazy had wine, i had lemon lime and bitters with So Co. NOM!
When the crowd chilled a bit, we had a small issue with a certain someone spreading rumors about our group, which led to un-suspecting people questioning us to see if it was true... which thankfully they didn't believe the rumors in the first place and all was sweet =3
When there was enough room to be comfortable in the room we had, we went in mingled til about close.
Saturday! I awoke to 'Kitkat' the kitty going meow....meow... meow.. meow... ect, and outside was orange XD... i was too tired to care, but i did think the day was going to be crappy weather... but it cleared up! And for some crazy reason we went to Centennial park early, which we found to be freezing and super windy, so Crazy, Dustan and myself went back to get jumpers and a kite ^^ whe we got back, most peeps had turned up with a mass amount of meat, lollies and drinks! ^^ It was a long day, but we had good fun, BBQ was awesome (as always) and the art talk with Jozef Szekeres, an ex-Disney animator was interesting (especially while trying to view pics thru the mouth of my fursuit head!) XD
Which, i forgot to mention.... My brand spanking new suit i've been working on and off on since march, finally made its debut at Furjam! Its a Cyber/Metal Fox/Wolf Toy Soldier with an undecided name.... thinking "Azuvious" "Saber" or "Jasper" ....the first has a ute related meaning to it, second... is obvious if u ever played killer instinct, third, i saw a sign called "Jaspers Brush" which was near something called Fox ..something(?).. and it sounds like a suitable type of name..... anyone agrees with these ideas?.... Photos of the suit will be posted shortly!!
Ok, back to Saturday! We headed to the UNSW arcade room, where our night was booked. On the way we went to some crazy fox stuidos place with shops and giant bean bags! I had Subway before we left cause there was tons of bad food to be supplied at the unsw, inc kfc, pizza, lollies, chips and soft drink >.>... all i had was some solo and a few lollies :p ima bad foxy.
I got bored and drew some pictures to submit for the 'Art jam' Including a portrait of robbie >> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2858410/ a pronz pic, a pic of anthrax and one of phoenix doing...'cartwheels' O.o XD
Anywho, Robibie and Phoenix got some GIANT glowsticks! (14" x 1") later on in the night, Robbie, Phoenix, RayLiehm, Anthrax, Crazy and myself went for a wonder to the footy field, nice and dark, to throw around glowsticks at each other! It was good fun! Then some of the sticks started to leak and glow good went on all our hands, the field, our shoes and clothes, i smothered a soccer ball with it to make a glow ball! and Anthrax wrote 'yiff' in glow goo on the ground.... it was hilarious! When we got back to the room... we were all tired, puffed, sweaty and covered in goo... how sus! lol
Turned out the goo was bad for skin and for paint..like a solvent, Robbie's Nerf gun's paint started to strip off and my hands went white they do when too much thinner has gotten on them. (it disappears after a while tho)
AFter all that jazz, artjam was voted, and omg my pic of robbie won XD i had a hard time choosing a prize... i went with a Lynx Plushie cause it was cute....Anthrax supplied a mini colt gun, which was cool and Jozef Szekeres gave me a pack of art cards with many artworks ^^ which was cool too.. Thanks guys!
Ummm.. after that, Crazy and I took Anthrax to Kings Cross! OMG.. that place is hectic! tom tom led us to a street which was long, and super busy. Cars moved about 2-5 meteres a minute...;_____; people, taxi's and police were everywhere and our destination was supposed to take about 12mins!!! instead it took about 40....>.>;; i hate city traffic.
Sunday! We didnt go to the furjam events... instead we visited robbie at his work place, then went to MCAS to get some motorbike gear for Crazy =3.... then we got petrol, food and headed home!! ...and again... sydney traffic sucks ASS.
Home.. sleep... x___X work in the morning *sigh*
And now! I'm getting a few commissions out of the way!! yey!

Posted 16 years agoWell I'm back! (some of you may have noticed some submissions lately^^; ) but yes.. i guess i can say I'm back to keeping up to date again...well, i'll try!
Next week i'll be moving..so might be a bit slow to start *really* getting back into the artsies! But i have ideas, i have unfinished projects and i even have some commissions to get done! *YEY*
I got a motorbike finally! *posted a pic of it in my gallery* ^^ I've been taking it for a ride every day after work to get used to it, and going a bit further and a bit faster each day and trying to get used to traffic ^-^;; I'm a bit nervous when i think about going for a ride, but as soon as i'm on and riding... i feel so much better and wonder why i'm nervous!.... Maybeh cause i've had a few people pull out in front of me already in my first week on the road.... i'm just lucky i'm a granny rider atm going slow! XD
anyways, um.. snow on the 14th!! (i hope) Cant wait to get back on my snowboard again! =3
Furjam last weekend of the month also! Looking forward to that too, catching up with friends and having some fun ^^
OH! and i'm going to see Marilyn Manson in October too!!! i really cant wait for that!! (the last concert wasnt real awesome.. it was rather emo...) but now twiggy's back it should be much better, just like the new album! YEY!
Then.. it will be Midfur!! ^^ more fun!

Posted 16 years agoYeeehhhhh... still not really around ey... My computers power supply buggered after a storm a while back and its still not fixed.
All my new pictures are on it and so nothing to show till its alive again XD
Other than that, I've been working, been sick, last week i went to the snow and had an awesome time snowboarding! Although the weather was crappy alot (blizzardy winds and snow falls) i still had a blast! XD I cruzed around with crazy and i crashed alot....(an icy day was painful) But the day after snow was a cushy landing XD
Anywho, for the snow i made myself an arctic foxxy beanie XD I was easily found for my fluffy-ness.. and possible blending with the background ^^ (photos will be up when i find my camera!)
Ummm not much else to say really... I'm moving shortly to be with crazy! =3 Looking forward to it, but still looking for a job.... when im more settled, i'll be sure to have much more things to rave on about, pictures to show and be more up to date ^^

Its been a while since i was last on here... well.. on the internet at all really. Had the last week and a half off work to help crazy FINALLY finish his car! WOW was that a hectic week and a bit >.> extreme sanding and painting...>.> The day of booth hire we rocked up at 3pm and got out at 12pm the next day! *dies* I was so very tired and cranky and happy that it finally got finished!! =3
Its not yet put back together yet since painting, but when it is, I'll be sure to post it up! ^^ I have a few runs to cut out and then the long tiring work of buffing it. BUT the painting part is finished! YEY! XD
In other news... my crazy is gone now. He's moved away and I will be moving to be with him soon! I have alot of stuff to sort out before i go. But i cant wait to move in with him again ^-^
I probably wont have much time to submit anything until i'm all settled down again, but i will try get up a few sketches during this time =3

why?
Well... there are so many things I want to do... not just as projects.. but in life, i want to be so many things! I like spraypainting, but the thought of being paid such a shitty amount for alot of hard work makes me sad. Plus if i did do that, then i'd have to finish the 4 years to be fully qualified. *sighs* Sounds like a lot of not much money, doing what I like but yeh, i dont know if its what i want to keep doing? I dont know what i want to do >.>
I was looking into this awesome special effects make up school, sounds perfect and definitely something i'd like to do for a career! BUT to go to the school for a year is $10K... O.O i nearly died! thats hell of alot of money for one year of learning. So I just simply cant afford to go to a school doing fun creative stuff.
And another thing.. i wanted to go back to tafe to do a fine arts course too (which is what i was going to do if i didnt get in to the spray painters course) I got in to the fine arts course easy as, they really wanted me to attened, but i wanted to do spray painting more.... fine arts would be fun and make me happy, but after that... what do i do?? being an artist doesnt really get you anywhere. Just like being a graphic designer.. i did that and got no where...;_;
I'm not sure if i should just keep trying things until i find something i can actually keep doing as a career? Or if i should just keep with spraypainting?
Besides all that, i'd like to be a Paleontologist.... but i seriously dont have the smarts for that!! XD I wouldnt mind working for the defense either.. but i dont think i would be too smart for that either O.o.. i was going to way way back in year 10.. but when they came for the school talk thing... the thought of 'you must stay for minimum 6 years' kinda scared me off.. i didnt know what you could do if you didnt like it there! XD
BLARG.... right now i just want to do the special effects thing... but i cant find anywhere to learn it that doent cost a whole torso and an eye!! >.o
Too many things running through my head i just want to be happy with work... i'm about to snap where i am now O.o;... whats worse is stocktake is coming up.. and i dont think i'll be moved away in time to miss it! XD arr well....

I have possibly scored another fursuit commission to do!! (but a much easier one this time XD) And I'm really looking forward to making it. It was originally going to be my first ever commission, but they decided not to go for it. But now, They are back! And its so far looking hopeful! =3

Posted 17 years agoWell... devastating after math of the fire has been broadcast all over the news, they are still needing to search homes and car in areas they haven't been able to get to. So death toll may still rise.
The blood donation van is supposed to be coming to work tomorrow, thats if at least 50 people at work and around the area say they will donate. And even i will face the needle of doom as it drains me to help others.
Since the fires, there has been a dramatic drop in temperature too. Right now it is under 20C and its even raining!!! a first this month! Its just what we needed too. And besides to cool down fires, its at least a small drop for our drought ridden country.
But ALSO, there are some pretty savage floods happening in QLD >.> i guess aussie is in just disaster mode atm.
besides all that!

What will you be doing for Valentines day??
