New gender options!!

These are all things that I, as well as lots of other peeps, have been asking for from FA, so I'm pleasantly surprised to be actually seeing that change!
Transgender, of course, is not an actual gender. It only accompanies a gender. So it didn't... like... make ANY sense to mark a submission with Transgender. But Transgender has now been split into Trans (Male) and Trans (Female), and even Non-Binary!
Now, there's the whole thing about Herm being replaced with Intersex, since "herm" is a slur word to many people. However, some people have objection to this because herm is an actual legitimate identity to them. It's what they identify as, so to see it just removed is kinda shit, ngl. I'm wondering if the people fighting to replace "herm" knew that some of the users of this site actually identified as herm. If they didn't know and they learned about it, would they have wanted it removed less so that they wouldn't be taking away other people's form identification, or would they just not care because it was bothering them? I'd really hope it was the first one, honestly. I mean, it is good that FurAffinity has removed a slur, but still, it sucks for the people that have actually identified as that.
And to all of this, I'm mostly referring to Charem 's recent journals where they discuss this.
But whether or not the whole Herm v. Intersex thing is an issue, I'm still glad Transgender has been replaced by the other three gender options! It's great to see that sort of change from FurAffinity. Or, really, any positive change from FurAffinity is good to see.

I noticed almost immediately the site was back up because I have a Chrome extension that displays notifications from FurAffinity, and I saw that it was active, meaning the site was back up!
Also, laughing at all the journals being posted now, saying "follow me on Twitter" and shit, like, "GO HERE IN CASE THE SITE BREAKS AGAIN"
Thousands of people realizing how dependent on FurAffinity they are lmfao

So much has happened this year. I'd venture to say that this has been absolutely the most eventful, and maybe even the most important year of my entire life. I've met so many amazing people, and made some new great friends. I've grown as an artist. (I mean, at least a little.) I've grown so much as a person. The person who I was at the beginning of 2018 is someone I'm ashamed of now. I know I'm definitely still FAR from a saint, but at least I ain't the selfish, thoughtless, bigoted dumbass I was in January. So, I'm really glad this year has happened. It's meant so much to me.
Perhaps I could've done without all the stress and emotional roller coaster rides I've had this year. I've dealt with a whole lot of pain and frustration. But it meant I grew as a person and met all of the awesome people I did, and I think I helped out others a bit, too. I've made a fair amount of people a little bit happier, I think. So, I wouldn't have had it any other way.
My New Year's resolutions for 2019?
Get a driver's license. Get my first actual job. Hopefully, start actually practicing digital art. Some important skills and things I'll need for the rest of my life.
Sell at least $100 worth in commissions, reach 500 watchers, etc. Dumb, arbitrary number goals that don't really mean anything in the end, but still provide some sort of validation for my aspirations.
And easily the most important of them all, keep growing as a person. I never, ever want to be stagnant. I want to be someone that acknowledges my flaws and does everything I can to keeping improving them. I know I won't ever be perfect, but that won't stop me from trying to be the best person I can be.
Thank you, everyone, for being here with me through this insane year. I'm not really the most skilled artist or funniest guy out there, but thank you anyway.
Ever since I learned about the internet, I've wanted to be... er... "influential." I saw great artists, and I drew like them. I wanted to be like them. I saw funny YouTubers, and I made dumb little videos with Legos on my iPad 2. I didn't upload my art or my videos at the time because I didn't actually have accounts anywhere, but I imagined it. I dreamed of having hundreds of thousands of followers. But I never actually expected to get anywhere. I'm just some dude that draws stuff and makes videos about stuff, and started uploading them, hoping but never actually expecting it to go anywhere. I didn't think I'd have almost 400 watchers! I never even imagined that some of the artists that inspired me to draw would actually be watching me now! Just, thank you.
Blah blah, sentimental bullshit, I'll stop blabbering on now. Just, happy New Years everyone! Have the best 2019 possible!

Lowered Commission prices!

I realized that, yes, the new prices are very cheap for what they are, but putting them where they are now is the only way I'm ever going to actually sell any. I'm not being hard on myself or anything. I'm an artist who's only sold two commissions, so I'm new to this whole thing. Everyone's gotta start somewhere.
It's price and demand. Very low demand for my art, therefore, low price.
If I do actually start seeing a genuine interest in my artwork, then I will eventually raise the price! But for now, I'm gonna put it LOW. So hopefully, this'll spark a bit more interest!
Just as a reminder, commissions are always open unless I announce otherwise. You can see the updated prices in the link below!

Ever wonder what people think about your fursona??? no? well whatever.
To play, I want you to rate my sona and in turn you must leave your own sona/OC for me to rate
I'll post a few images of my chosen OC for you to rate and then in turn you leave a few images for me to rate :) Don't want me to give my honest opinion on your OC? Don't rate my OC <3 Simple as that ^-^
RULES:
1. Give rating out of 10
2. Give brief explanation as to why you gave the rating you did
3. If you don't like a character, give constructive criticism, not just "ew its gross i hate it". Maybe give design suggestions on how you would improve the original design.
4. Only rate my character if you're going to leave yours in turn for me to rate. No rating and running! That's not fair :U
5. You don't have to do a journal asking! That is only for the brave who truly want to know what people think and aren't afraid of the ever-judgmental public's opinion.
6. End on a good note! If you really don't like the character, find at least SOMTHING good to say about it to finish your "critique"/"opinion"! No one likes just getting outright bashed :U
7. You don't have to give your sona for the public to rate. can be just an OC
Don't rate/post if you aren't going to leave your OC behind to be rated as well! That's just not fair x)
Also don't play if you're going to take people's ratings personally and get angry. I'm genuinely curious as to how the public views my OC and maybe I'll get some good design advice out of it for future OCs!
