General | Posted 7 years agoJust a bit of a small announcement in case you didn't know. I have been doing Inktober! I've just been taking pics of the art with my phone and posting them to my art Twitter for now!

Little tidbit about my characters because I feel like it
General | Posted 7 years agoI saw the whole "Protagonist, Antagonist, Comic Relief, Love Interest" thing on Twitter recently. If you haven't seen that, people specify an OC of theirs in the tweet, and then they put a poll containing the four character arcs previously listed. Then, people vote on which character arc sounds the most like the OC.
I did the same thing, and I was a bit surprised by the results, especially with Berri. More people voted for Comic Relief than Love Interest, and only half voted for Love Interest period. I really thought the majority of her votes would be for Love Interest.
So basically, if I had to pick ONE of the character arcs for each of my characters, Crys would be Comic Relief, Lucas would be Protagonist, and Berri and Eve would be Love Interest.
And because I was bored, I went the extra mile and made a little chart thing detailing about what percent each character was of each character arc.
So, if the ratio is Protagonist - Antagonist - Comic Relief - Love Interest...
Crys: 15-5-75-5
Lucas: 40-10-30-20
Berri: 20-5-25-50
Eve: 30-0-30-40
So yeah, hope that's an interesting little tidbit about my characters, I guess.

General | Posted 7 years agoShe used to be a completely normal fennec with normal fennec fur, but she used her food magic to permanently turn her fur into cotton candy. Now, it's not ACTUAL cotton candy. It's pretty much edible, cotton candy-flavored and -scented fur. It's soft, it's puffy, it's sweet and sugary, but it's not sticky. It grows like normal fur and it essentially acts like normal fur, but it's CANDY. So, she always faintly smells of cotton candy. If she's hungry and doesn't feel like using her magic, she can just nibble her tail or something.
However, her cotton candy fur may or may not be super fattening. (It definitely is, because *magic*)

BIG OL NAME CHANGE
General | Posted 7 years agoTo be perfectly honest, I don't really like the name Shadow. I was unsatisfied with the name and I couldn't find something that fits, so I just stuck with it. It didn't really help that he shared a name with the Sonic character. So now,I actually want to change it to something I like!

After a few hours of hearing dozens of different name suggestions, I THINK I'm gonna have to go with Lucius Noctum, and he'd go by Lucas.

General | Posted 7 years agoIf I upload art for me made by other artists, I will always have the link to the original upload in the second line of the description, with the first line including the artist's icon. I even encourage you all to favorite the original every time. In almost every case, the credit takes up MOST of the entire description.
So, basically, if you're going to favorite my reupload, then FAVORITE THE ORIGINAL. In fact, I'd prefer if people ONLY favorited the original upload! I literally didn't do anything at all to deserve attention for it! I didn't draw it! It's just a reupload! I do not deserve a single fave!
And this goes for every artist, too! It might be more difficult with other artists who only credit the artist and don't directly link the original upload. But *I* ALWAYS make it SO EASY!! There is always a direct link to the original upload! Just click the link, click +Fav, and DONE! THAT'S IT! It's almost always a FurAffinity upload! The full canon behind my characters...
General | Posted 7 years agoI figured I'd make out the entire official backstory for all of them into one condensed (not really) journal.
So, for all of your enjoyment, here it is:
Shadow is a dude with very overpowered magic. Life hasn't been much of a challenge at all for him. His magic allows him to get from place to place instantly, so he's able to hold down multiple full-time jobs at once. He pretty much was able to build up a small fortune off of a basic college education alone.
Berri had a much rougher past. Her parents divorced, and she lived with her abusive mother. Neither of them worked, and the money they got was from the monthly check from her father. She has natural strong food-related magic and can basically summon any food item by thought alone. This, her mother takes advantage of and basically leeches off of her. The only outlet she had was the Internet. She decided to become a gainer because she had the resources and there wasn't much else she could do, but her mom was extremely cruel. She even made her wear a shock collar, and activated it whenever she caught her eating.
Eve was born in early 18th-century England. Her birth was hidden, as she was a hybrid, and hybrids were seen as abominations at the time. Her father gave her away to his scientist uncle who lived alone and isolated mere weeks after her birth. She basically grew up as his servant, isolated from the rest of society. But with time, she became his test subject. One thing lead to another, and she became a shape shifting blob of slime that was now virtually immortal. She traveled the world, learning all sorts of things while watching the world evolve. But for the longest time, she did so with a different body. One that she learned was more acceptable to society. But as society evolved, she eventually decided it was safe enough to become her true self again.
And how they met was Eve eventually decided after centuries that she'd risk trying to form a relationship with someone. She still was afraid of anyone discovering that she's both over 300 years old and a shape-shifting slime "monster," but the world was starting to get small and she was starting to get lonely. She decided it'd be best to look on the Internet as it's easier to conceal yourself there, and there is where she met Berri. Berri filled the loneliness in Eve, and Eve helped Berri get through the hell she was living in. Then after months, Berri convinced Eve to go on a date, to which Eve reluctantly agreed. To Berri, this was her chance to finally get away from her hell, but to Eve, this was Berri possibly finding out what she is and leaving her to her loneliness.
When the time came, Eve was far too anxious and cancelled at the last minute, leaving Eve at the restaurant in tears. This restaurant was one that Eve recommended, as she'd personally been to many restaurants around the country, and it was by far the best one. It also happened to be not that far away from where Berri lived. Also, this same restaurant happened to be Shadow's favorite restaurant in the country, thousands of miles from his home. (As he can travel any distance instantly, this is nothing to him.) He was seated in the seat near Berri's, where she sat alone for some time. He wondered why she was there on her own, not eating anything. Then he noticed her look at her phone, try not to cry, but then eventually fail. He couldn't help but be concerned, so he sat opposite of her and asked her what has wrong. She told him everything, and he insisted that she come back to live with him, thousands of miles away from her hell. She was concerned about his intentions, but then decided that nothing could be worse than the place she was in then.
She came back to his place, which was a two-story house where he lived alone. She was free to do whatever she wanted whenever she wanted, and no one would judge her at all. She was worried at first that Shadow would judge her, but he never did. She was surprised at how supportive he was at first. She was even skeptical for a time, but she eventually started to trust him and know that he was legitimately supporting her.
Oh, and also, he recognized her (or at least the big, round part of her) from the gainer site she posted to. So that was quite a pleasant surprise to the both of them.
But the issue was that she was now dating two people. Neither of those two knew about the existence of the other. All Eve knew was that a gracious friend helped her move out, and all Shadow knew was that she spent a lot of time chatting on her phone while he was at work. They both helped her out so much, and she couldn't possibly bring herself to leave either of them. She knew she'd have to, but... not yet.
But Eve couldn't forgive herself for leaving Berri stranded. She was still afraid of her finding out, but she had to push that aside to make it up to Berri. She convinced Berri to give her her address, and that's when she stopped by unannounced the next day.
Berri locked herself in her bathroom trying to figure out what she'd do. It seemed like now, she'd have to make a decision, but it wasn't one she was going to be able to make easily.
This left Shadow and Eve alone, where they both talked out everything. Awkwardly at first, for obvious reasons, but then more and more comfortably as they got to know eachother. Shadow, having quite better senses than anyone else, could blaringly tell that there was something very different with her, and her pushed her to say what. She told him her entire backstory, but he.reassured her that there was absolutely nothing wrong with her. Quite the opposite. He admired her after that and everything she went through. They bonded together more and more... but then at once, the environment got far more awkward than it was before.
They now had feelings for eachother. Now, all of them. All three of them were in love with eachother.
So what was to happen?
They talked about it, still awkwardly, but then both realized at the exact same time that none of them had to choose! But before either of them could finish their thoughts, Berri came into the room and hesitantly declared that she couldn't possibly choose between either of them.
And that's that! They became a poly trio, just like that!
And since Eve always traveled and didn't stay in one place, she had nowhere to live, so Shadow quickly offered her to stay with him.
As for how my fursona, Crys, ties into all of this... Because of Shadow's abilities, he's the master of pretty much any videogame and challenge. So he's got a Twitch channel! Crys is a very big fan of his skills, and he also happens to be a fan of... Berri's belly. And when Shadow and Berri revealed on their platforms that they were dating, he was quite shocked!

Canon change?
General | Posted 7 years agoThe canon before was that Crys was in a separate universe than the rest of my OCs, and all of them were created by him. The two universes were exactly alike aside from the people that were in them.
EXCEPT I FEEL LIKE THAT'S WAY TOO COMPLICATED
So like, I think I'm changing it.
So basically, they're all gonna be in the same reality, but just not interact. Canonically, Shadow is a pretty decently-popular Internet personality, so my idea was that Crys is just one of his fans.

General | Posted 7 years agoI'm unhappy unhappy unhappy unhappy I'm so very very unhappy.
I'm not gonna go into details because I'm low-key high-key kinda furious right now, so I know that I'll regret literally everything I'm saying now tomorrow. In fact, I won't say anything at all. At least, not on this site.
Just know that I am currently unhappy.

Unfortunately, it seems that one of the raffle winners did not get back to me in the allotted amount of time. Therefore, I have to choose another! I fired up the RNG again, using the same algorithm as last time, and we now have our new third winner!

Now, if THIS winner doesn't get back to me in one week, then I'll just have to do this once more. (But I doubt that will happen.)

Obviously, in tbe grand scheme of things, 300 doesn't seem like much. I have friends and mutuals who have THOUSANDS of watchers! But at the end of the day, that's still a whole 300 people that support what I do, and that feeling is incredible! I mean, just imagine a room full of hundreds of people! Like, jeez! Thank you to everyone!
