Taur Model ON THE WAY!
Posted 4 years agoHey all! I doubt anyone really checks journals, but since it shows up on the front page... and I had some time to kill, why not?
For those not following my twitter, I wanted to quickly say that I'm currently working on a new 3D Taur Template Model! It's going to have some amazing features and I'm going to try and get it to work across most major platforms.
If you want to see the WIPs and any updates regarding the release, make sure to follow me here:
https://twitter.com/Voxian
When it's all said and done, I'll be releasing the model across my Gumroad account here:
https://gumroad.com/voxian
Of course there will also be an advertisement on this page as well.
In the meantime, have a tauriffic day! Catch you around!

Another Year Another Anthrocon!
Posted 6 years agoSince it seems I only post journals around anthrocon, I figured I would keep up the tradition!
Okay, so quick and dirty. Me and
catnamedfish are going to Anthrocon 2019! Note me if you want to meetup!
Now in retrospect, another year gone by. This time last year I was still trying to keep up my 2D art but was steadily losing motivation. I was writing to fill my time. (Many stories I have yet to post here.) Since then many things have changed! I have made some new friends irl as well as online. I got much deeper into the card game, Cardfight Vanguard. Even got top 8 in a regional a few weeks ago! But most importantly to this channel, I've started taking my 3D art FAR more seriously... I've nearly had a few breakdowns along the lines of "Everything I do sucks" and we've had many irl problems come up between upkeep on our cars and house... but we've pulled through so far.
Going forwards, I have two big projects we are working on. First is a special non-furry story a friend of mine is directing and I am animating! I think it's going to be a good hit! ... I do wish it was furry related though... maybe I can make two versions of the animation *winks*. The second project is specifically for those on here! We've started working on getting characters together for a story I've written but not posted yet. It's going to have love, lust, romance, and humor. There's absolutely something magical about how it's coming together. I've put a lot into the story I really think it's worth animating. You'll be seeing some of the ref sheets by
Inkwell-Arts are turning out amazing! I'll post all of my works in progress here and on my Twitter.
I really hope all of you stick through with me during the transition from 2D art to 3D art. I really think it's the better fit for me.
Anyways, I think that's plenty of sappy talk for now. I'm really happy to get all this out there.
Stay fluffy!

Sick and Cleaning Up
Posted 7 years agoSoooo... I'm rather sick right now after going to a convention... figured I would clean up a bit in my gallery!
I'll be posting some new stuff as well, so keep an eye out!
No worries, I won't delete anything, but I will probably move some things back into scraps.

It's about that time again!
Posted 8 years agoHey all! It's been... well... it's been quite awhile. After nearly three years, I'd honestly be surprised if anyone is still watching me or looking at my journals.
I wanted to let everyone know I'm still perfectly healthy. I believe "I'm not dead yet!" applies here. With the thrill of AC still pulsing in my veins, I have decided to make a conscious effort to draw more often and post a few things from time to time.
I have a selection of stories, art, and doodles that have been completed over the past few years but not posted properly. I decided to heck with it, I'll post them anyways. For those interested, I do have more of my "USB Compatible" story and will post at least a little more.
I am still not going to open for commissions, I know... sad day. Life is still too hectic for me to get involved in any sort of real financial commitment.
I hope to hear from all of you again! It's your comments that keep me rolling.
Thank you for still being there!

Post SnowCon
Posted 12 years agoThe soft breeze whisks through the quiet house. The sound of footsteps and whispering greetings as the world begins to wake up. Cuddled up so close to my lovers, their warmth flowing through me like a river.
Even now I can't believe it's over. It came and went so quickly...
Snowcon was a complete blast. It had all of the best elements of a big convention, plus the close relations of good friends.
Azimuth was the most interesting addition to the group. Having not met hir before, it was certainly interesting. I had lots of fun asking hir and Blacktail questions about their lives. Azimuth was kind enough to discuss stories with me the night before shi left. It was a huge motivator to keep writing and drawing. I can't thank hir enough.
Also, cuddles with Railrunner were certainly appreciated. That big marshmallow is so much fun to tease.
Mom (Silvermane) was so nice and accommodating. Shi helped the group transition to the next event smoothly and even cooked all of our meals! Shi gave us so much... I can't thank hir enough.
Seeing Fish smile really lightened my mood. Admittedly, we get into fights quite a bit... so seeing her relax and enjoy herself was enough for me.
And lastly, the heart of the party, Midsnow, thank you so much. None of this would have happened without your help. I couldn't believe it after I left, but I learned so much about hir on this trip. We got closer than I thought would have been possible.
Thank you all so much for joining me. I really really really needed a vacation like this. A chance to really get away. The true gift you all gave me this Christmas was your company.
Thank you,
- Vox

Winding Down After AC
Posted 12 years agoAC certainly was an interesting trip this year. I couldn't have possibly asked for more.
Me and Fish headed up to Pittsburgh on the 4th. Not too bad of a drive, and things went well. We spend that day with Midsnow, Aurora, and Railrunner. Chakats are certainly fun to hang out with. After a few lighting strikes, we enjoyed the firework show together under an overhang. It was crowded, but it was beautiful.
We even had a chance to meet up with some of our old local furs from IL.
At the end of the day we had a chance to catch up with Reverse who went spent the night with.
The next day we spent meeting up with others such as Windy, Goldfur, Silkpaws... We wandered the dealers den and artist alley. I even got a commission from Mantis which I will post later.
Midsnow joined in a poker tourney. I probably should have joined, but I wasn't feeling like it at the moment.
We got to meet up with Seth Triggs for the first time. Even met some extended friends of Railrunner, such as Flow. Finally got to meet Seth Triggs in person. That night we barged in on Goldfur's room and had a quick chat. We all had the chance to congratulate hir on winning the Ursa Major awards.
Went to the Chakat Nom and Yap. There was some issues with the amount of people we had. Hopefully next year we can get it sorted out. Chinny's group had to leave, and I wanted to have a chance to really talk with her too... -.-
Finally the last day rolled around. We had some issues getting our stuff to the car and paying for parking, but it worked out in the end. Spent the day with Midsnow and eventually got some ice cream with Aurora and Railrunner. Sung some songs at Ben and Jerry's. It was a great day.
Drove back a bit sad, but I can't wait until next year!
PS: sorry I didn't link any names, too lazy at the moment...

A New Page
Posted 12 years agoHey Everyone,
It's good to still be around after all that's happened. Just to give you all an update. Me and Fish have officially moved to West Virginia. We've got a nice place to stay and I've gotten a great job!
I officially start work on Monday, so there's a lot to get started on still, but we'll make it.
Now that my life is kicking off, I can't entirely promise when I'll have time to draw or write. I'll know in more detail after my first few weeks of work, but until then keep your fingers crossed.
With all of the chaos that's happened recently, I've had almost no time to post pictures, draw, write, or anything else creatively fun. As such, I do have a lot of new stuff sitting on my computer. I can't promise when I'll get it all out there, but you'll see it trickling in from time to time. (We first need to get internet out here *derp*)
Also, since we are now considerably closer to Pittsburgh, we'll be able to attend AC every year! This year we are planning on only going Saturday, but in future years, expect us to be there throughout the convention.
Anyways, with everything going on, feel free to contact us and say hi! It might get a little lonely all the way out here in the middle of nowhere x3
Hope to see you all soon!

And Thus Summer Comes to a Close
Posted 13 years agoYep, I've just about run out of time for any more fun this summer... It's about time to give a quick review of what has happened, explain my commission status, and let you know what's still to come.
Let's see, so working backwards... This summer has been so eventful, it's hard to even get a good summary started... I literally lived the life of an artist, writer, and con follower. and I'm an engineering student! x3
The first large event was anthro con. It was there that I was finally able to meet many of the chakats in person for the first time. I made many friends and after I got back home, I was suddenly swarmed with commissions. I then spent countless hours enjoying my nearly 25 commissions this summer! Thank you all for participating in making this summer one of the most memorable of my life!
The month before anthro con, I spent one straight month writing a book. At nearly 130 pages this novel depicts the transition of my cub, Frosteyes, into hir adult life. First off, this book will be free! I will begin posting this fun filled tail a few weeks after college starts. (Mid September) Since it's so long, I will be posting it in 2-3 chapter sections and littering it with never before seen art by the amazing Fish! So I hope all of you get a chance to read it when I begin posting.
In other news, with college starting up, I will be closing my commissions down. I've gotta focus on my schoolwork... but I will still do my best to answer messages and log on MSN every now and then... but don't expect to completely stop drawing! I'll do my best to try and upload something every now and then to keep things interesting... these pictures will probably be personal work or gift art for friends.
Anyways, thank you all once again! I really appreciate everything you've done for me. It's been amazing to work on everything from the very successful chakat template to the commissions that went under the radar. But more importantly, I am so glad that I was able to meet so many furs, not only online but in real life as well! You guys have been awesome! I hope to keep contact with as many as you as possible. :3

Conventions I will be attending:Back from AC and STILL ALIVE!
Posted 13 years agoTo be honest, I'm surprised we made it back ... :3
So finally some post-AC summary:
The convention was amazing! I've never been to a convention as large as AC, few Anime conventions even come close..
We had to drive nearly 9 hours to get there -.- definitely not a fun experience...
We also finally had the chance to meet much of the Chakat community! That had to be my personal favorite part of the whole trip :3 We were greeted with many warm hugs. we got to meet nearly all of the famous chakat names out there, like
goldfur
werewolfss... x3 I even got to meet up with a few non-kats along the way as well :3
and of course meeting the artists is a must! I finally got to meet artists like
kacey
angrboda ... x3 I got about 3 commissions while I was out there, I'll be re-posting them as soon as i can :3
The panels were interesting and we went to many of the comedy ones :3 lots of fun that's for sure, we had a friend join us who wasn't a furry... I'm glad we went to the events every now and then to shake things up :3 though I really didn't have much time...
I was sincerely amazed by the organization of AC, it's SOOooo much better than many of the other cons i've been to.... especially the ones up in chicago... -.- The only problem we really had was trying to navigate through Pittsburgh... x3
Now that we're back and happy.... we're broke x3 ... no more adventures for some time please... x3 we are diffidently considering going to the Indy Fur Con in august ...
railrunner invited us to go, so we'll probably work something out with hir :3 turns out shi lives pretty close to us! which is awesome :3
I'm sure i left out all kinds of fun stuff that happened, but I just wanted to give a short summary and say that I enjoyed it a LOT :3
oh and I think it's important to mention that me and Fish will probably not attend next year... AC is a bit out of reach in terms of money... we just barely made it as it was.... but give us a few years and you'll probably see our faces there again :3 I definitely want to go again!

Updated, Ready for Buisness, and Attending AC!!!
Posted 13 years agoAs many of you may have noticed, I suddenly just exploded on FA, I had found a bunch of older art I had never gotten around to uploading on FA (due to the size restrictions) so I finally got the motivation up and posted almost all of it. Hope you enjoy it! I still have more to upload, but I decided to hold it back for the next few days...
In other news, I am currently open for commissions! Finally got the nerve and time to do it, so I figured why not? If you're curious about getting a commission from me, send me a note! I'd love some business! gotta pay for my AC ticket anyways...
Speaking of which, me and
cat_named_fish will be attending AC (Anthro Con)! I'm so excited to go this year, it's going to be such an exciting couple of days... I'll do my best not to die from all the excitement ... x3
If any of you are interested in meeting us at AC, let me know :3 it would be great to see the faces of our watchers! and if you'd like a commission presented to you in person, i would be up for that too :3
So ya, a lot going on! hope you all have a great summer! :3

If you are interested in an Art Trade or a Request, please let me know as those are on a case by case basis. I may randomly take requests off the list simply to empty slots for different requests, don't take it personally.
The max number next to each category limits how many of those commissions I can have at one time. Make sure you check my price sheet before commissioning me.

Posted 16 years agoHey everyone! thanks for visiting my account here on FA! and I'm glad to be here!
I may start uploading a lot more to this account, as I'm considering drawing slightly more risque stuff, and I will only post those picture to here, not to My Deviant Art account.

Intro
Posted 16 years agoHey everyone!!! i just thought I'd write a quick journal so you all know what's up with me...
anyways, I'm currently in the very slow process of uploading some of stuff from my DA account over to here that I've done over the past year.... (i can't possibly upload EVERYTHING cause it would take FAR too long..) so over the next few hours expect to see a LOT of art from me... keep checking in if you are interested! I'll be uploading everything in chronological order.... so if you pay attention, you'll be able to see how much I've improved over the first year of being an artist....
