New year, means it's time for cons again! I know a lot of folks got all excited for FC and a lot people are already there. Those though who were unable to make it to FC be it cost, distance, or any other reasons there is still a chance to enjoy the con experience! Califur which this year is May 31st to June 2nd takes place in none other than California! Being a person who has gone there last year, with furs that have been to both FC and Califur I can say a few things that might useful to know.

1. It is a smaller con than FC which makes it a great first con to go to if you have never been to one before, which also have with a few benefits like; less crowded and also a little cheaper too ^^

2. Still can meet some well known artists, writers, etc... there too. For the adult panel they actually had Bad Dragon adult toys there which was really interesting.

3. Tons of interesting and awesome panels, games, entertainment, and people!

4. This year's theme is based off of Tron!

If that hasn't peaked your interest in this con, not sure what else really well other than the fact I'm going there with some other furs I know.

Well I got accepted over to UNLV so next Saturday I will be driving to Las Vegas to stay with my older brother and his girlfriend, while I go to UNLV for a semester to finish up my Geology Degree. It will be nice to go to an actual big city, and hope to maybe meet some fellow furs that live in the area. Also for those that might be interested October 15-16 there is a two day, big ass rock concert, with bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, and Hollywood Undead.
