Thursday night was awesome. went to Sushi X with with and , went to get booze, proceeding to drink said booze with and her mate . From there, I went straight to my room to pass out. Because apple pie moonshine.

Friday night was good. Went to opening ceremonies with a stellar preference by Silver, part of con staff, that had his suit wired with LED lighting tubes. With a black room, glowlights, and a dancing wuff on stage, it was pretty f*cking awesome. And we found out the resonance of the ball room :P

Saturday was... Whoa. Couldn't keep my meals down, or anything for that matter. Was feeling rather weak till one of my roomates pulled me to his room to do some babyfur things >.> Then went to :bluehuskyicons: 's room party. And shit got fun.

Sunday was almost a disaster. Turns out, my backpack (which contained games and my medicine) was no longer to be found. Searching high and low for it, I couldn't find it I gave up on finding, honestly. Upset, furious, and about to punch something, some awesome furs from my floor was having a room party. Any one was able to join, so I humbly did so. And wow. Turned my night upside down and I actually started to enjoy myself. From there, I met a former VT fur and we wandered around room parties for the rest of the night until I couldn't stay awake any longer. And that was the end of the con.

decided to stay with , so I had to ride up with and we had a lovely time. We stopped at one of his favorite places... And he really made my night. I was on the brink of tears all convention because I wasn't enjoying myself.

Just goes to show you that good friends care about you.

Thanks for everyone I've encountered and talked with at the con! You've helped this shy little derp of a husky branch out and talk to others (which, under normal circumstances, I'd be seizing.) And I hope to see you all again next year!

The response of my glass work has been phenomenal! Thank you for all the new watchers that I've picked up, and I hope you enjoy the work!

I have just finished my level 1 glass making course (Pictures of works in on my page is work that I have made during said classes)! And now a little breather for heading off to Furpocalypse =3

However, thanks to the best boyfriend ever,  snjester , he is willing to pay for my level 2 course. Which means more glass!

As it turns out, cancer has stricken my body once again. For some strange reason, I feel a lot more worried this time. But I didn't have a big support back then, either. My roomates have been rooting for me every step of the way with a smile. I'm glad I have them all in my life.

Only time will tell on my condition. I'll keep you all updated.

So, I've been in the dumps lately. For no particular reason, either. Being around friends helps, yeah, but... there's something missing.

I dunno.. Life just seems so complex and I'm too stupid to get it or something... I know I need to grow up and become an adult. Hell, I'm turning 21 next month.

*sigh* Don't get me wrong, my life had some amazing golden moments. But all the gold in the world can't make a man happy, I guess...

I attended a party recently that bewildered every sense of reality I have ever known. A smile on (almost) everyone's face, the mood was elevated quite high, and a firm sense of belonging was felt by more than just me, I'm sure.

I won't lie - I smoke pot. Why? Doctors orders. Nyah. So, I figured it would be a decent time to... well, "medicate" so to speak.

During the party, an event happened that changed my perspective about a lot of things. I learned that when no words can be spoken, tears can be a universal symbol of beauty or sadness. That a simple pat on the head can make a difference in someones life.

Anywho, long story short, circumstances led me to write this:

" If you can read this from the cold hand of a corpse, I want to make a declaration. I, one of the few given an extra chance at life, will never forget that I am loved. The simplest of people can show that love. And that love deserves to be appreciated. The friends you cherish will become close, the love will remain golden in your heart. And when in doubt, the friends who love you will always care for you in the end, and remain, what they are, friends.
It doesn't matter if they are big or small, it's the love they give you to keep living and keep going. You know you are loved. But please, in the darkest of times, you know you can rely on the golden people in your life.

Well, all good things must come to an end. It's almost a scientific law now-a-days. But I digress. I met an awesome furry in the state of Vermont (my home state),  iamthedonut :3 He was a wonderful host, however awkward our decision making plans may have been.

Since we arrived at his house late Friday, we just decided to call it quits. We were tired, and we both knew it. So, I settled in and within hours I was asleep. When the morning came, I was reluctant enough to actually get up before Shino. I decided to write a poem (which, later, I will post up here), and fell back asleep. When I awoke the second time, Shino was in his zombie-stage and had to wake up.

After a small cuddle session, we grabbed some pizza at Zachary's, and an idea popped in my head. Shino's friend  Apothacer had a birthday two days previous. Why not hang with him at a local arcade? We called him, and he was down.

So we met Apothacer and his mate  Sylrynn at a place called Pizza Putt, where, much to my demise, we all settled on a couple games of mini golf where I assumed leadership of the fail commitee, making outrageous hits and getting a +9 on a single hole. I'm not that great ._.'

Anywho. We went back to Apothacer's and Sylrynn's house, listening to some awesome music, chatted, and smoked from a hookah. Once it was time to bid farewell to let them sleep, Shino and I went back to his place and fell asleep.

Today was the day I went home, so no arcades this time. We caught a movie, grabbed a bite to eat, and then I was on my way home..

*sighs* I'm going to miss the friends I made on this trip. I know it won't be the last time I see them, but.... Oh well. That's for another journal. Goodnight, everyone!

I recently went to the hospital to receive a mandatory PET scan. You get injected with this dye and you sit and do nothing for an hour an a half. Doing nothing.... Anyway. The scan went fine, no problems, etc and went home. My last PET scan said that my tumor cells were inactive and close to shriveling up completely. However, this PET scan wasn't like that...

It turns out that the cancer has spread into the bone. It's engulfing most of my spine, in between my shoulder blades, on my ribs, and on my pelvis. The doctor mentioned nothing of the other cancer cells, so I'm assuming they're not that important at the moment.

I have to go to New Hampshire to see a specialist, when I live the furthest north west part of Vermont... It's a 3 hour drive.

So treatment is pretty standard. I'd have to have a port put in (a surgical hole in your body where they can draw blood, do IV's, injections, etc) and have to stay in the hospital 4-5 days out of the week.... Go in Monday, come out Thursday or Friday depending on my condition. How often I'll have to go in is still up in the air, but by the sounds it's not going to be so frequent.

So, I decided to come back to FA after my mate asked me to and so far no drama on my end... from the site. Since then, I've been diagnosed with stage 4 hodgkins lymphoma cancer and have been getting chemo every other week. On top of that, my family life isn't the greatest. My grandfather has been the main reason why my art and writing skills have been lacking. He's the reason why my self esteem is so low.. His selfishness, racism, and whole life has brought his so called "loved ones" nothing but pain and hurt. Not just emotionally, but physically as well. Usually, I've had a somewhat upity view. But lately, I've been extremely depressed.. I've thought of going back to cutting, and once even the thought of suicide has crossed my mind.. but my mate has been faithful to me, giving me what little light in my life I have. He lives in the next state over, and we don't get to see each other very often, which also hurts us very much. Now that I'm doing chemo, their is a possible chance that my immune system may be shot enough so I can't travel anywhere, when we planned to be together for Valentines Day. *sigh* If anyone could give me some tips, or contact me privately just to talk, I would greatly appreciate it...
