Honestly, due to urgent issues I was almost positive I wouldn't be able to attend, so now just the fact I CAN attend is enough. My goal is pretty much just to have fun with old friends and hopefully make new ones. Cute new ones. Like, the adorable ones you head home after the con and have long-sighs about before you realize they're already dating a 60 year old guy from Germany online o.o

I've had a lot of people asking me for this for a long time now, and I figured I might actually give it a try~

Payment will still be available through PayPal only, and I'll most likely work with limited slots announced on journals, first come first served, finish those once they're filled, and then announce more slots once again. I'll probably keep the number of slots per journal short (most likely 5 at max), that way if you were at work or didn't have access to a computer you'll have a better chance of getting in next time :3

Would you guys be interested in me posting sketches here on FA?

I was considering posting a couple of WIPs since my pictures usually take long, but because of all the YCH whoring out a lot of artists did the new AUP kinda flags that as abusing the system, so I can't exactly post a progression of WIPs like I do on Weasyl and sometimes Twitter.

So what I figured is I'd just post one final sketch for a picture, and then jump straight to uploading the full finished art. But would anyone be interested? I know people on Weasyl seem to really like that, and Twitter always gets me good responses too, but I've found that the vast majority of my followers here pretty much just faves stuff instead of commenting on it, so it's hard to gauge if the interest is really there or if it's more of a knee jerk response o.o

Either way, let me know guys, I always appreciate your input ^^

So, after paying in full for my suit almost 2 years ago and having the person kinda disappear from the internet it's safe to say that I'm in the market for a real suit maker x3

In fact, I would like to ask you guys for suggestions! Who do you think would be the best maker for Ausup? Who do you think would be able to portray him better and such?

I'm not that knowledgeable on the fursuit scene so apart from the standard makers I'm not really aware of a bunch of great ones, which is why I'm asking for you guys' help!

So yush, please help~! Gimme suggestions with links to their page or suits they've made and hopefully I'll be able to get Ausup made in time for Anthrocon or FurnalEquinox next year! =D

So I'm wondering... if I got a dealer's table at the next con you're attending... what would you like me to offer? WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!

Because there are certain issues...

- I take a long time working on pictures. I value the quality over quantity approach, so in average I'm working 8-12 hours on each picture. Since I also have a job that means time for art is limited, therefore selling commissions would QUICKLY bury me under a pile of pictures I'd have to end up rushing out... and by rushing out I mean I should be done within' 2 years o.o

So selling actual commissions is a no no, I suppose. If I did it, I'd only have a few slots, and then it'd be first come first served, which is not exactly fair.

- Doing sketches might be an idea. But then again I believe what people love about my art is the colouring and level of detail, two things I can't exactly pin down in a quick sketch, so I feel like this would be setting people up for disappointment o.o

So sketches aren't exactly the best of choices either.

- Icons are a little more doable, but they would probably be post-con delivered digitally. Can I really compete in that department with all the dozens of awesome artists who draw detailed badges in front of you in 10 seconds? o.o

Besides, people can buy icons anywhere, why would I spend money and time getting a table for it? It's a con - I want to hang out with friends I haven't seen in ages too! x3

- Then there's prints. But as you've probably noticed most of my art is drawing specific characters that either belong or represent people. Even if I asked them for their permission and they agreed whole heartedly, how creepy is selling someone's character in a picture, ESPECIALLY if it's mature?

So prints would be highly limited to like 2-3 pictures I have that don't include actual people in it? xD

- And of course there's paw icons. But, again, people can commission these online, and they'd all be digital and take some time to make so what's the point?

So yeah... I seriously do want to do this, but I am finding it REALLY hard to come up with a decent reason for it. Halp. Please? :3

But seriously, Weasyl is a fantastic website but it has like 5 active people in there. Come on, people - I KNOW some of you have been bitching about how broken and stuck in the past Fur Affinity is, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE.. take it, don't leave it.. grab it by the tail~!

As for InkBunny, it's just terrific, but I can't blame anyone who chooses not to be there because of their cub art database (and it has, sadly pretty much become a cub art website, you just have to watch the most popular pictures, 9/10 doesn't even have a real thumbnail, just the word CUB in bold red letters, and then you can insert your favourite method of sexual fun to add to it...)

I've been thinking over and over what could I do to boost my ratings on those two websites but it's almost not worth the effort. I might start uploading all sorts of sketches and WIPs to Weasyl, as well as offer InkBunny an exclusive YCH, we'll see.

So I'm posting this here as well. Those of you who've been using modern Photoshops know how awesomely useful the feature to 'manually' rotate the canvas is. I used it ALL the time. Now, all of a sudden, without warning, the feature stopped working.

I have an Nvidia GTX570 with up-to-date drivers (this problem is common with AMD drivers, not Nvidia).

It worked days ago, now it doesn't. I didn't change anything in my system, software or hardware wise.

I triple-checked my Preferences on Photoshop - OpenGL (Advanced Graphics Acceleration) is enabled, as well as its sub-options and working fine. Ran a system checked. It IS ENABLED AND WORKING FINE.

Whenever I try rotating the canvas using the tool I get the infamous "Could not complete your request because it only works with OpenGL enabled document windows."

Any guesses?

And first thing I'm doing is finishing that YCH, so those of you waiting for that won't have to wait much longer x3

I also have some unusual things planned, we'll see what you guys think about it ;3

I'm gonna be visiting my parents, family and friends for about 3 weeks, and coming back to Canada on October 3rd, I believe.

Pretty excited about seeing everyone again, and hopefully I'll be psyched enough to start working out again, especially doing Parkour, keep practicing skateboarding and hopefully, most of all, FOOTBALLIN', yeah~!

That being said, I will still be very much online everyday, though obviously I won't be answering my phone/texts, unless I convince my parents to set up a wireless router at our place x3

My computer down there is mighty old, so it can't really handle any real Photoshop work. But I WILL be taking my travel tablet with me and going to be sketching a lot~~ and possibly posting those sketches if you guys are interested :3

Anyway, I did some MAJOUR organizing in my den before I'm leaving, so now files, both digital and analog, are very much tucked into the proper spots, and I can actually feel the energy in the room flowing a lot better, so it'll be a nice environment to come back to~

But yeah, just wanted to let you guys know about the change of scenery. Anyways, hopefully all the planes will take off, fly and land properly. If any of them happens to fall I swear I'll do my best to pull off some movie-like surviving, so if I disappear for a while don't lose hope ;3

Also I'm going to be sleeping in Detroit tonight and catching the plane to Brazil tomorrow night. I'd try to arrange a meet or something like that, but honestly I'll probably be too tired/stressed out/trying to avoid the dystopian reality that is the city, but for those of you in Michigan, thing on the bright side - I'll be closer for one night~~ xD

Anyway! I'll try to get those sketches going once I'm down there, so expect some scrap updates. For those wondering about the YCH, my computer down there isn't gonna be able to handle the file (it's 2.5 GBs when opened, and that computer was put together back when Genghis Kahn was feared o.o), so I'll be working on it again once I'm back in Canada, but it is very close to completion.

'Cause I know it's usual for non-artists to never check those. I do have quite a bit of stuff in there, so just a heads up for those who've never checked it x3

SO... I've been thinking about giving this a try, and I just started randomly doodling a somewhat beach/ocean oriented idea and I was like.. y'know what.. it'd be cool if I could fit actual characters in this.

Now those who know me know I'm not YCH's number one fan because I've seen people abusing it on FA, but I do want to give this a try as it gives people a chance to be in a picture I drew with my style and such, and only having to pay a fraction of the cost.

So I'm wondering if you guys would be interested/think it's a cool idea. And if you do, and I decide to try it and decide to draw a second picture as well, what kind of setting would you choose?
