yes I know I've been absent for a while, or at least seem to have been.

I do not draw nearly as often as I would like these days. Amazing how 40 hours of working a week can take it out of ya, eh? I do get occasional spurts of inspiration though. and some of my art does not get posted here on FA ;3

generally i am living the life of a starving artist without the artist part. Working a low-wage job making architectural copies (higher wage jobs seem to carry a little more responsibility than I am willing to put forth).

Sadly, this will be the first year in a very long time that i will not have been able to attend a single convention. Both RMFC and NDK have passed already this year, and I lacked funds for gas to either of them (let alone for a badge)

In positive news, I have been trying to be more social with local furs. I show up regularly at Fox Trot in Denver. I even have a monthly game night at my place! if you live in or near Boulder CO and enjoy Cards Against humanity, drop me a line and I can start inviting you too! hehe. Or if you see me in my fox tail at Foxtrot, come introduce yourself! i love meeting new people.

Sorry again that I haven't been posting any artwork all year so far.

Making video games is super fun, but it takes a lot of my creative energy, to be sure. I'm still here though, and I am no less interested in Furry than ever. In fact, This coming weekend is RMFC.

I am trying to guage how many people I know will be at RMFC, or more to the point, how many of them would like to see me there. I will be bringing at least one of my mates with me, and could bring a sketchbook too.

If I get invited to any room party, then I will definitely want to show up. If you think it would be fun to chat in person, get a hug or 5 in, trade art, or whatever let me know before the weekend. :3

I had somewhat of a boring birthday. I opted for Friday off from work instead of Tuesday (big surprise there ;3). I did have dinner with my family after work.

in other news, I have been watching through Spirit Science ( thespiritscience.net ) on youtube.
A lot of the ideas discussed are rather fantastic, but I am not one to discount possibilities because of popular opinion.

If we do have some major spiritual transformation dependent on our hearts being full of love, I don't think I need to worry. I have been an overly compassionate person my whole life. Several of my more spiritual teachers in Highschool have commented about my good Karma (I even failed the class of one of those teachers lol).

All my life I have played a role as a healer. Hell my first DnD character was a cleric. I've been attuned to the 2nd degree of Reikki, though I do no really practice it (I should!). And most intriguingly, I find people drawn to me who are in need of some sort of ... well ... healing. I'd give examples, but don't want to single people out or anything

I am polyamorous, having so much love to give the world, I dont feel I should be limited to one romantic relationship. I've even speculated that my purpose in life may be to love.

until Wednesday evening(6/8), then I fly back to Colorado. For now, I am chilling in and around Potsdam NY, where my mate Dacks hails from.

For those who have no idea where that is, it's a few hours north of Syracuse, a stone's throw from the Fabled Canadas. In other words, it is just about as far north as you can go in New York State near Watertown and Masena. For those who DO know the town, you probably have a good idea of how little there is to do around here hehe. I probably did not need to take so much time off work, but hey, at least I'm drawing here and there on the trip.

Expect new art once I'm next to a scanner. :3

So my company threw a release party for GRAVBOT, our newest IPHONE and IPOD touch game (google some reviews, it is totally worth the free DL).

I invited a decent amount of people both via facebook, and for those who I wanted to show up not on facebook in instant message. One friend I invited in person when I was hanging out with him on Tuesday. That friend was the ONLY one I invited who showed up.

Is it really a coincidence that all 10-15 people I invited couldn't make it? Or am I just low enough on people's priority list that a party I invite them to is less important than anything else they may have wanted to do last night.

I was there until 1am. so people coming late would have been fine, but no one came, even after they finished what else they were doing. I don't know whether I'm sad or pissed, but it sure ain't happy.

On the "bright" side, at least now I can avoid the disappointment of throwing my own party and undoubtedly no one coming. :/

well, I'm afraid that I'm still having too much trouble concentrating on artwork to finish any of the old shit I happened across.

I was recently in the hospital for some mental trauma, and I am still in the healing process. btw, that very fond farewell was not anything serious. I just thought it would be funny to put the speech into a furry format, but I ended up worrying a lot of people. my bad ^^;;
I just needed to disappear for a while to figure some things out. I'm not gone, just changed.

anyways, I'm starting to see my therapist again, and he is going to get me back on track. My mate is going to help me manage my time, and I will continue working on art with him helping me manage my time. I got really lucky with him, even though he is overbearing a lot of the time, he loves me and has been trying to help me ever since he met me. We are working on out communication. We almost broke up :O

I have found a ton of old art of mine. and I want to scan a lot of it in. I think I will continue a favourite of my fans, the comic about Epona and the Anonymous Dragon. I've oft been asked how the story ends, and just been too lazy and too busy to work on it.

Work has been hella hectic, but I'm learning that a lot more people have seen my art than I thought, and it is making me feel VERY appreciated. I love you all ^_^

I still have some scheduling to work out, though, so I may not be able to scan ALL my stuff. I will go ahead and scan some of it tomorrow for ya'll.

hi everyone. I know a lot of you have been worried avout me. Im all better now (I think). I just had a bit of an identity crisis and had to leave the web for a bit to figure things out.

well, like most Colorado furries, I was at RMFC this year. the local newspaper Westword took pictures of the furries out and about during the parade. I somehow managed to get into one of the pictures.

I did get to meet Hotch and Nauv and for a very brief period hang out with them which was pretty cool. and drinking yay!

well I had one of the people here on FA call me creepy today, whee.

I have known three people that she has also known. it's not like I'm trying to stalk her through her friends. its just a small world I guess. At any rate, I have mentioned at least two of these people to her before. One of them was in her last comic, and I said "I remember her. I haven't seen her since we graduated."

okay, first, lets break this down. I knew this person (the one in the comic) when I went to voTEC. I didn't like her much, but she was kind of funny in that pitiful, easy-to-make fun of way (not that I made fun of her, on the contrary in fact she made fun of me). she was friends with another guy who apparently also knew this artist (as well as a few of my close friends). I hung out with the two of them at voTEC, since I didn't really know anyone else there yet.
finally, the last person, I am very close friends with and was a childhood friend of the artist long before FA even existed.

my relationship to the artist: I think her comics are funny, and I think it is kind of neat in a oh-its-a-small-world kind of way that three of the people in my life are three of the people in her life. apparently she read more into it than that, and now thinks I'm a creepy wannabe stalker or want to be her friend or some shit like that. I dunno. ah well. I've had artists I respect more say I was a cool person, so one whose comics are silly thinking I'm creepy doesn't bother me much, but it does bother me a little. like how can my idle comments be so misconstrued? I really don't care about this artists more than "heh, your comics are silly." but it seems like she thinks I do. *sigh* whatever.

so my birthday was a lot of fun. I went shopping (lol gay) and got a new shirt, and cowboy boots.

I wore the boots to the bar, which was western themed, so I felt very appropriate.
the bar is called Dark Horse. and it is my favourite bar/restaurant (brestaurant so to speak). definitely my fav. bar. and my second favourite burger joint.

it was karyoke night. wich made the night better and worse at the same time XD. I ended up singing Bohemian Rhapsody. and poorly. I was drunk by that point, thanks mostly to my free birthday shot. despite how horribly I sang, we got a ton of cheers from people. I just pick good songs ;3

anyways, despite how utterly smashed I got, I can recite all of what I had.

I started the night with three swigs (thats right I dont even use shot glasses any more. straight from the bottle for me) of Strawberry Vodka my friend's girlfriend got for me.

then we walked over to the bar (my friends live like a block from it). then I got my free birthday shot, Wild Turkey and Peppermint Schnapps.

then I got a Double rum and coke from Brian. (I got my burger before finishing this)

then I got another single Rum and Coke from Jani, and soon after than another from Galen.

then Kiran got me a shot of Goldschläger.

then Stefan showed up and got me ANOTHER double rum and coke after I recited this list to him. I didn't finish it. I had two sips then gave it to someone else and went out back to the back to smoke. that's when I threw up, but once I did, I was fine. Galen who was the only one with me when I hurled got me a glass of water.

then I started chatting with the only other two people on the back deck, who of course had just witnessed my puking. hehe how humbling XD. one of them owned a site designed to teach people how to fend of a zombie attack. we called him Zombieguy. hehe

I had a couple glasses of water, and a couple hot wings after I puked. I was also awake long enough that the hangover is all but unnoticeable. the best part is that despite how wasted I got, I could recite (both during drinking and after) exactly what I'd drank. and I even remember who got me what ^_^

when we got back to the apartment, I passed out before construction of the gravity bong was complete, and before I had the hit that Kezz said I needed. no big loss there. from the sound of it, even one hit woulda been way too much for me.

so anyways. boots! they're so incredibly comfortable even though they don't look it at all. Im amazed ^_^

in about an hour and a half, I will have made it another revolution around the home star.

that marks two and a score years or humanity. oh the humanity!

anyways included on my wish list is a black "we're on a birdge, charlie" teeshirt from Filmcow's cafe press and a pair of black cowboy boots :3
