Thank you for still being around. I saw the kind replies to my latest pic, I just can't collect enough energy to answer them but I will <3 Life kinda got in the way and I went into hibernation mode (sort of).

I don't know if Paypal option is here to stay, I did try it with a regular customer and it went smoothly, but last time I miscalculated and my funds got stuck with the middleman I worked with (he has set the base sum for withdrawal). Essentially, I need about $50 to reach that base sum, hence the slot price. So yeah, I got defeated by basic math.

...I also, uh, started working as a bartender, still can't wrap my head around this fact, it seems like I accidentally activated some random side quest. There's still a whole lot I need to learn, like I can't mix drinks without looking at my cheat sheet (I made one in Obsidian, super neat btw), thankfully I don't need to interact with guests so my introverted ass is safe. We'll see how it goes.

After much consideration, I decided to close commissions prematurely. I'll open the slots again no earlier than January, or even later.

Initially, I was going to fix up some terms in T.o.S. and do an overhaul of my price list, but then came to the realization that I'm actually extremely tired and burnt out. It doesn't help that ever since 2022, there's still no stable payment service that both me and my clients would be able or willing to use. It's like everything I did up until this moment was in vain. And every attempt comes harder and harder to me, the more time passes. It's clearly not a good approach because at this point I don't feel enough joy while drawing, so I have to pause and catch some breath.

There's also a ✨ Big Yearly House Cleaning ✨ that I planned out, and while I'm at it, I don't want to think about anything else really. My home is practically screaming for help xD I won't be answering any messages and maybe even uploading new art during this time. (I also kind of want to impress a friend who's visiting us on New Year's, lol)

It's not like Boosty has been of any particular usefulness to me for quite some time, lol.

Initially, I started using it as a way of receiving payments from Paypal users and as a way to post at least some of my WIPs like I used to on Patreon (when Payoneer and Paypal still worked for me). Now that it's been months since the last time any of my clients have used Boosty (due to it not working properly with Paypal or the banks flagging the service as fraudulent -_-), the platform became sort of a dead weight that I finally decided to cut off. Not to mention, there was a time when I went for an entire month without a single post, so I took it as a sign that it's time to move on.

...Even if it still works for somebody, I'd have to keep posting there to be eligible for withdrawing the funds, as Boosty allegedly doesn't like inactive accounts. But doing so just for the possibility of someone commissioning me there just doesn't seem very wise now.

With that said, I will be removing links to Boosty shortly. The posts will still remain on it in case somebody wants to access them, but I would ask you to NOT use Boosty to send donations to me. I deleted the withdrawal options from it so I won't be able to get any money anyway.

In the foreseeable future, I will be doing an overhaul of my terms and listings and pause accepting new commissions.

My goal is to begin to offer the types of commissions that will thematically and structurally resemble my own personal artwork.

I'm going through a significant change in my life, and I'll need my art-related work to be as stress-free as possible for that reason 🐝

The number of times I would deny myself a bit of fun because there'd always be somebody who was like "you're doing it wrong" or "that ain't it, try this instead" has surely made me into that kind of person who would likely stay silent during any group conversations.

All because now that I listened to someone and "did it the right way", I lack expertise to hold lengthy colorful conversations, making myself awkwardly stare and smile at others. Whereas those same people will have zero trouble doing that since they've seen that movie and it was hilariously bad or played that game and it was booooring. The result: they get more points in social interactions, and I, uh, go back home being convinced in my inability to socialize.

Hits harder when you're a shy introvert. Imagine having enough energy to go into the wild only once a month where one failed attempt will automatically waste that said month.

The moment I stopped following people's recommendations on how to have fun and what media to consume, I became a lot calmer and happier. And that somehow made it easier for me to find people of similar interests (because those interests were not forced on me as I gained them myself!)

Not directed at anyone or any situation in particular. Just realized that I've had this happen to me too many times during my entire life until I found myself one day watching that hilariously bad movie and playing that stupid boring video game.

So I bought the air-dry clay intending to sculpt some heads for future reference.

• I've never even touched clay, let alone sculpt something with it
• I don't have any instruments except my hands
• I assumed it's not very high-maintenance (it somewhat is)

I am suspecting that its key feature (air-drying) will be the very reason of my artistic downfall.
