So, as you may know my brother is getting married the 4th of July in Ireland. Well our flights were scheduled to be on that 737 max 8 that has been grounded so they got Canceled. The good news about that is it now allows me to fly back Friday the 5th. So I would like to go to Anthrocon at least for Saturday and Sunday. So I am looking for a room spot with bed space (no floor space) for ideally Friday Saturday and Sunday night. Preferably at the Westin, courtyard or Druery. If you know of any one with space have them get in touch with me.

Hello, i have an open room spot at furpockalyple if any of you want to go. Main hotel.

Hello, we have had a last min cancellation, so i have one open spot at the westin in our king room, Thursday to Monday.

I have never been to MFF because I have never been able to get a room. Every year I try but have been unsuccessful. This year I was so excited because I thought I finally got one. I got on the site the moment they opened the room block. I got a room with 2 beds at the Hyatt. I got to the part where I put in my name and credit card info, and when I clicked submit, the page crashed. I kept hitting refresh but no luck. So the room block sold out and I missed out.


This week I see that MFF said oh there are more rooms, and they are going to have a lottery to give them out. But in order to enter the lottery, you must first pre-register for the con which is $55. So my question is what if you register for the con, enter the lottery and still don't get a room? do you get your money back? Turns out the answer is no you don't. They said you can roll It over to next year, but you run into the same issue, what if you have it for next year and can't get a room?


So I don't feel like risking 55 dollars on entering a lottery for a room that I likely wouldn't get any ways, and frankly I think it is greedy of them to not refund your money if you can't get a room spot. i mean Who si going to drive half way across the country and not have a place to stay? So looks like I won't be going again.

So you may have noticed that I'm not at MFF. One of the reasons is that I couldn't get a hotel room. But the other reason is that I had surgery this week. I would much rather be at the con. Laying around in bed recovering is no fun. But its something that I needed to hVe done, and the timing worked out that this was the best time for me to do it. So all of you there I hope are having a good time. Get lots of hugs and snuggles and Murr time.

One of the largest in the country. So i am going to have a BBQ Monday afternoon there, and then go watch the fire works. Hello, I was not invited to be in this years Ocean city Doo Dah parade, but i would like to go down and watch, as i have never actually watched the parade. Would any of you like to go to ocean city tomorrow and saturday night and split the cost of a hotel room with me? And then if the weather is nice maybe hit up 6 flags on sunday. as i have a bring a friend pass.

So i didn't go to FWA. And the reason i didn't go is because last year i did go and it was just an over all Poor experience. The con staff was rude to me on more then one occasion, and just made me feel very unwelcome. Also we had problems with both check in and check out with the mariott. So i will probably never go to FWA again based on these poor experiences. Its one then when maybe one staff member is having a bad day or is just maybe an asshole, but when more then one staff member acts that way toward you over several days, It really does ruin the experience. keep that in mind if you are on staff at a con, that how you respond to some one or treat them could make or break their experience.

I know this is a long shot, but i booked a room for Furnalequinox and the people who i had planned on going with are no longer going, So i have a room at the main hotel from thursday though monday. I figured before i cancled the room i would see if any of you would like to go, i would need to get 2 or 3 people to break down the cost to make it work with my budget.
