Everyone can now see my original art, and merchandise and blog on the brand spankin' new Shottsy Arts official website! It is still a work in progress with more tweaks and additions that will be made, but it is done enough to finally bring it to the light of day for all of you!

I have been working around the clock to complete new designs for the upcoming con season. Then its back to work on commissions I still owe, and my graphic novel project, as well as my website and store. I am sooooo tired. Anyways get the list below of where you can come meet me!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes! You have no idea how much I appreciate every single one!!

Today was my birthday. It didn't go as I hoped, but I still feel grateful for all the things I have achieved so far, and the friends and family I have in my life. I feel sad about certain things going on right now, but also hopeful and excited for what the future will hold. My dad is getting me the greatest gift I could have asked for which is my very own heat press which wasn't cheap. We will be able to save money in the long run by not having so much inventory and overstock of designs and be able to press on demand when my store launches! I am so grateful he is investing in me and my business a bit.

I will be trying to update more soon, been super busy clearing out and cleaning the final bits of our old apartment but we are officially DONE with it! At least as far as I know.. Now I have to finish unpacking and organizing our current place. Anyways I miss you all! Keep your eyes out for my Patreon launch! I could really use support so I can pay bills and keep making art! I'll have lots of great rewards for my supporters!

I hope to accomplish a lot in this chapter of my life.

Hey everyone, just a quick update.

I'm turning 30 April 30th The only time I will have two 30s ever. I guess this really is a special birthday. I can't believe I am really hitting such a big milestone.. I feel like I've known some of you online forever. I was just a young 19 year old college student learning about furries from fellow college peeps freshman year.

I feel sort of excited about starting a new chapter, but also a bit sad. I really thought I'd have more of my life together by the age of 30. In my mind when I was in college I would already have plenty of money, a house, and possibly a show in circulation by the age of 30.

Ohhhh the naive thoughts of a young teenage girl.. In many ways I am still young and naive, but I finally feel like i am on the right track career-wise, even thought it is hard whenever I continue to pursue my art and dreams, things seem to fall into place, and I truly feel I owe a LOT of that to my followers right here on FA, many of which who followed me and found me over from DA. Now I'm not even working on my show idea, but instead pursuing a business making t-shirt transfers and other designs, and merchandise, and working on a huge graphic novel endeavor.


Been chugging away on my graphic novel! I now have 4 pages thumbnailed out. I recently started a class with a one on one mentor from the industry that is helping teach me things and by the end the goal is to pitch my graphic novel to official publishers!

I am also working hard on new designs for our upcoming busy convention roster. I had to cancel one of them, but I am shocked at how well we did for not even going. My bestie and another good con friend helped me get some stuff shipped there, and my bestie sold it for me at her table, so I can at least pay my rent now!

We have been still having to pay for two apartments at once and have nothing but drama at our current place.. I may or may not go more into that later.

In other news. I am still unpacking and trying to get my business launched and set up in the new house. Also please keep your eyes out for updates here, and on my other forums as I am going to be launching a Patreon for my graphic novel and business with a LOT of great opportunities and rewards for my patrons!

I have not forgotten about the commissions I still owe, I am still having trouble connecting my Mac Pro to our wireless here. I am not sure what the problem with it is.. It worked fine before and everything else seems normal and it is picking up the wireless but it "times out" when I try to connect. It may be a Time Warner issue as that happened before with too many devices and too tight of control, so I may have to call again, but I'm not sure. Once I get that done in between all my other things I will attempt to squeeze in a few livestreams to finish up commissions I owe people once it is all settled!

Good News everyone! I was accepted again to Bronycon! I'm really happy.

Things have been really tough for me the past few months, and I will do a more proper update as soon as I can. I have been struggling a lot financially with a bunch of things happened and fell through with our recent move. We ARE in our house and found a temp roommate but he has a job situation where he travels a lot and may only be with us for a couple months, so the offer is still open!


Anyways, this will be my third year vending and I"m really happy I got in. I am also still going to Anthrocon and we actually DO have room in our room if anyone wants to note me if interested we can talk and see if it will be a good fit.

I have picked back up production on my graphic novel a bit, and also plan to be starting a patreon soon which will have some really awesome rewards and opportunities for those that help support my project! My big art computer is still not hooked up yet, and lots in the business room needs to be set up and unpacked, so I apologize for the delay in finishing some backlog of livestream commissions. I haven't forgotten ANYONE and I also know some stuff needs to be mailed out as well. Everything is backed up and still color coded I just can't get to it yet.

I miss all of you! Thank you for being so awesome over the years. I've been really depressed, and my life is going through a lot of struggle and changes, but through it all I am attempting not to stop creating. Will update you all further soon!

Hey, to any of my watchers that perhaps live in the Ohio area my boyfriend and I are looking for a male or a couple in the columbus ohio area that would like to rent the third bedroom in the duplex we are in the process of moving into. It is a 3 bedroom 2 story with 2 and a half baths so you would have your own bathroom. 1400 a month split 3 ways or 4 if a couple is interested.

Things fell through with our original planned roommate so we are in dire need of a third or couple. I am a full time artist and work from home, and we make t-shirts and messenger bags. I applied I have accepted, but now I have to pay the table fee so I dont lose my spot. It's so annoying that all the table fees are due up front and in full in the slow off season when we are broke and not doing any cons. Once our store is launched that should buffer between our non con season. Anyways, who plans to go to anthrocon this year? I have never been, and am not sure what you all would be interested in seeing me sell there!

We sell wire sculptures, prints, t-shirts, laptop bags, buttons, and I will probably be doing some commissions too.

Ok my friend is taking us to this little new years ritual its from 7 to 8 and we are grabbing some food. Open Que again tonight! I am sure some of you have New Years parties to go to, but my mate is working and so am I so we can pay for bills. Please stop by!


My best friend's husband kicked her out so me and my mate are taking her in and moving all together to get a bigger place to jump start our business, have enough space not to be on top of each other, and so our cats won't fight. (She comes with a cat too). We found the perfect place but we have to put down a down payment and i still have to make enough for food and our bills here at this place before we move.

Me and my mate drove all the way to Pittsburgh, PA to help her pack all of her belongings and then move them here to ohio. She doesn't have a job quite yet, but has some good leads, and should hopefully have some support once it gets settled in court. However in the mean time we could all use some help financially. My car got a flat when I got to PA so I had extra expenses I wasn't counting on and now can't pay our rent this month and have no food money.

Luckily my mate has a seasonal job so things could have been worse but we are still short on our bills.

Please spread the word I will be doing livestream commissions tomorrow and fit in as much as I can tomorrow and the next day. With a possible one on thursday if there is any rollover of work that doesn't get finished wednesday, as I may end a bit early for new years eve.

Hey everyone! I finally have internet at my mom's. Thank you all. It has been really sad, but I am also happy and grateful to have had my grandma for as long as I did. Me and my mate just got back from Bronycon. It was an absolute blast and was very successful! We didn't meet the sales goal we had, but we DID do better than last year, and I have two more conventions coming up, so hopefully it will even out eventually. We at least made enough for him to get out of debt. I still have some debt, and a lot of other tings to pay off business-wise, but we are getting there.

I will resume livestreaming soon. My website is also very close to launching! Very exciting! I have another convention coming up in two weeks here in columbus, OH - Matsuricon, so if any of you are in the area, feel free to come by and say hi!

Seems like everything crazy really happens at once. My childhood farm that our whole family owned together sold, which is both good and sad. I grew up there, it is the inspiration for a lot of my scenery and things in my Waffles concept, which is why the series will someday be called, "Waffles of Wildwood Farm" Then last night after contracting pneumonia and fighting in the hospital for two weeks, my 91 year old grandma passed peacefully. I am really sad, but grateful for the time we spent together.. I had a feeling but was still hoping for more time. My mate and I were supposed to go visit her in just a short couple of months and we were all talking about how excited we were. She was such a positive and wise person and everyone that met her instantly loved her. She was able to walk up until this past month. She was lively and well traveled and just a bright awesome person. I am going to her funeral on Thursday and then leaving for Bronycon still right after, only now i have to fly and have my mate and best friend meet me at the airport. Just feeling really stressed.

Sorry I have been MIA. I can definitely use the livestream money, but its just been so hard to juggle everything AND prepare for the upcoming conventions. My mate is still out of a job and money has been really tight.. I am still a bit worried I won't be able to come up with the money for rent, but I've managed to sell some trading cards on ebay which has helped, but UGH it takes so long for funds to clear!

Had a family crisis a couple weeks ago, that I don't wish to go into at the moment. Things for the most part, for now, are working out. My grandma also had to go to the hospital and it isn't looking good, so please pray that she gets well for me :(

Then i will resume my regular livestreaming until I have to prepare for Bronycon in August. In the meantime NOT streaming has been tough, my mate lost his job.. so we have been completely broke. I KNOW I will make some money come the convention, but things are hard in the meantime, and if I stream I lose out on product, or preparations for the convention. Tough call to make.

We also are really struggling, because out of the kindness of our hearts we rescued a beautiful young stray cat that a neighbor was feeding, but didn't want to take responsibility for. We already have 3 cats, and cannot afford food for ourselves let alone a fourth cat but we have been trying for 2 weeks to find a home for her with no luck. She has been living in the bathroom, never cries, is friendly, gives kisses, and seems completely healthy. We BADLY want to find a home for her. If anyone knows anyone that is in the Ohio area or in any neighboring states, that would want a loving young female, Torby cat with green eyes, who is also small, please let me know ASAP! My mate has said we cannot keep her more than the end of this week. Someone please help! I just want this little kitty to have a loving home! I wish we could keep her but there is just no way we could afford it, and we also dont really have the space.

Need moar money for rent and bills! Have to hit my goal 4 days before the first so I can transfer the funds! I will announce exact times but will most likely take a couple commissions tomorrow and wendesday and stream just for a few hours on both. Keep your eyes on my journal for set times!

All art will be submitted to my gallery, and all patrons will receive a full rez full scale copy of their purchase.

RULES:

-Livestream Commissions are done on a first come first serve basis, unless you have scheduled a specific time with me.

-I will be finishing your piece during the session so you MUST be there if you wish to purchase one of my special stream commissions.

-If for any reason you must step away during the stream once you have purchased a slot, please let me know you are stepping away and when you will be back, so I don't waste any time and can skip down to the next person in line.

-If you are not there when it is your turn and there is no one else to skip ahead to, I will be going ahead with your commission, and there will be NO tweaks or fixes, or edits unless you wish to pay an additional fee. My goal is to finish all commissioned art within a single session so each new stream starts new art and new pay. This is my job so I apologize if that sounds harsh, but time is money, and I need this to run smooth.

-When you ask for a slot in stream please tell me if you are from FA or Weasyl and, please send me only one note and include the following:

- What you are buying: Sketch, Linework, Flat, TF sequence?
- If TF sequence How many pages?
- Anthro or Feral Character?
-What is the Content? WG or regular?
- If you are a new client have your 'sona or character references sent, and also your email address you wish to use for me to send you your invoice. If you have a different email from the one you pay on that you wish to receive your art at, send that as well.
- If you are a returning client just have any new elements referenced for me if you want something to be specific like a prop or animal species.


If your piece isn't finished during the session it will be completed at the beginning of the next session. (if it spills over into a second session you may work out with me a special time for me to stream when you can attend again, and you will be first priority in next stream you are at.)

NOTE: Livestream Special prices are cheaper than my off stream commissions. They are meant to be quicker and done within a session so expect your sketches to be looser and rougher. I don't do shading generally for livestream pieces, and the art will be more simplistic.

****DISCLAIMER: If you don't have any references and want me to "make up the character (not in every case, up to my discretion) be prepared to pay a bit more than the people who already have characters and references. Also be prepared to pay a bit extra if you request something overly complicated and specific that I am not used to drawing with added elements, such as specific kinds of clothing, or weapons etc. Prices will be discussed prior to your invoice being sent out for approval. All commissions must be paid right then and there in the stream up front before your piece can be started. Please have all funds available for paypal payments ready so as not to hold up the flow of the stream and other patrons. If your piece is not finished within the stream it is commissioned you are first priority in the next stream to which you are available.

Sorry for the absance! I am preparing for Morphicon which is this coming weekend here in Columbus, OH! Also its is my birthday! It's a bit bittersweet. I always get excited for my birthday.. but this year and next it is just a monumental time where life gets harder, as I get less help this year, and less next.. I am fortunate that my father has helped me as long as he has with certain things, but finances and living has been tight as it is.. I am doing my best to get my business going and will be livestreaming regularly as it is my full time job now. I am going to take this year to throw all of myself into my art, and my business and push for success! He is stopping helping me with my medical stuff next year so I have one year left and I have a lot of medical issues.. so the goal is to make enough to afford insurance and my bills with my art. Anyways, just thought I'd check in. Look forward to the next time I see you all! Hope some of you will find me at Morphicon!
