I currently have a room booked for 4 nights at the Crowne Plaza for Furpocalypse in October. I currently have one roommate and would like to get 1 more. (2 more max).

You must be able to pay your share and be respectful of myself and others who may be in the room. It is a double bed room and is booked Thursday thru Monday.

Furpocolypse (fka Furfright) is less than two weeks away!

I'll be there Thursday thru Monday! Who can I expect to see?

Going to keep it short and sweet:

It was a good and relaxing con. Caught up with several people and basically just "chilled"

There were a lot of folks I was hoping to see at FF that were not and there were a few things I ended up not getting but, overall it was a good con.

I don't know what next year will bring in terms of cons but, I will likely be there next year!

PS-I am going to try my best to actually keep up and pay attention to this FA thing! :P

I have been really bad as of late about keeping up with FA and LJ.

I have said many times in the past that I'd try better at keeping up with things but, I don't follow through.

It is so difficult to come home and sit on the computer after sitting at one all day at work but, I am starting to fall out of the loop by neglecting online stuff.

I have managed to get myself active on Fetlife and I intend to do the same here followed by my LJ. My twitter account may remain covered in dust as I don't have the time during the day to keep up.

I am about to hit the 15 year mark in furry. A lot has changed, including myself. There is a lot of re-tooling that I I'd like to do. The fandom has gotten so much younger that I now feel like a greymuzzle at 34.

Some folks have asked when I will host another meet again. My last public meet was a couple years ago and attendance was waining. Folks were either not showing up after RSVP-ing or turning up well after things started up unnanounced. Blocking off an entire day to have things fall thru last minute was getting annoying.

This does not mean I will never host a meet again but, the next shot at a meet will not be until the weather gets nicer and I am back in the loop so to speak. I have found as of late that contacting a small handful of folks directly for a private meet has worked much much better. Personally I want to focus on building individual friendships going forward rather than playing host.

I have arrived and am in room 139!

I came all the way down from CT to the Furbq this year with about $50- worth of food between me and my ride.

We got there early and from the start loud techno music played non-stop and the alcohol flowed soon after that. There was a wristband system in place to keep booze out of the hands of minors.

It was very humid, crowded, and at times wet. We ended up leaving early as we were both getting massive headaches from the “thump thump” and the humidity.

This wasn't my first Furbq and all the prior ones were fun. This year things were too big, too wet, and too rowdy.

I don't want to get into blaming the organizers as I am sure they were under the assumption that those attending the event would be well behaved (for the most part).

I have read, seen, and heard the news/gossip regarding this. This includes claims that there was no photo and the councilman made this up. In my opinion something was seen. Weather or not it was sex or not is unclear and if a photo exists we are unlikely to ever see it.

Remember “perception is reality”-Whatever is being perceived by the town, the news, and the rest of the world is the reality we have to deal with.

I also am having a hard time believing the theories floating around that this was fabricated by a town councilman (or whoever). It is very likely things got distorted a bit but, I really think many people in the fandom are in denial when it comes to behavior like this.

Anyone (furry or not) would at least pay some mind to their own behavior at a picnic taking place at the Town Municipal complex next to a police station. Right?

I have been in furry for 14 years and it is very dear to my heart. For me its a lifestyle choice and I have made a few mistakes along the way but, I don't remember myself or others around me getting as drunk and disrespectful as many are getting these days.

The community as a whole really needs to reiterate general guidelines for public behavior. There is a time and a place for certain activities and behaviors. Folks seem to have a lot of trouble separating a furry con from the rest of the world.

Last year at a large community fursuiting event I witnessed furs getting drunk in public and acting like total a__holes with no care or regard to the event, its organizers, or its purpose.

I came to furry because it is a lifestyle and I owe a lot to it. It's starting to feel like more and more furs are in the fandom to simply get intoxicated and make fools out of themselves and the fandom at large.

I know I have said this before and each time I have fallen short...

Now that it is a new year and all the craziness at work is settling down I am going to TRY to be more active here on FA!

Furfright is over and despite twisting my foot, I did manage to have a good time.

Now that the con is over, I have made a vow to get more active online (mainly YIM, FA, and IRC).

I am serisoulsy thinking of hosting some kind of local meet before the end of the year. Stay tuned...

I just got through doing a mini-photoshoot with my zentais.

I tried a few new props, and some different accesories.

This pics came out ok. For somereason they looked great on my camera but came out a tid grainy:(

A furry friend of mine is visiting this long weekend. Someone who I haven't seen since 2005. He happens to be a professional clown and decided to dress me up in female clown garb so I could get some pointers on using facemakeup.
