Fuck Cancer
Posted 6 years agoTonight l lost a friend to cancer that she had been fighting for 7 months with. She was given 5 years after diagnosis but this fucked up cancer decided to end her life way too soon. She was only in her early 30's
RIP Joyce you will be missed greatly.
Tonight at work l found out a friend is also battling cancer, he has had a portion of his bowel removed and is undergoing chemo to aggressively try to stop it from spreading. Only symptom he showed was a sore spot when pressing down on his gut.
All l can say is please get checked as cancer can hit anyone at anytime.

Big Thanks (UPDATE)
Posted 7 years agoJust want to give those who donated a big thank you as we smashed the goal. Joy is overwhelmed with everyone that shared and donated to her cause.
Keep it up people as she is going to need all the support we can muster. She has had surgery to remove a cancerous lump in her oesophagus so she can eat solid foods again instead of being drip fed. Once she has recovered from that she is going into the chemo phase to try to stop the cancer spreading any further in her body. Without this treatment she will not live longer then 5 years, she is well aware its a death sentence she has but she is staying as positive as a person can be.

Posted 7 years agoI know l have been MIA for ages (life hit me hard and still is) but this journal is not about me at all. This is about a person l know and l'm asking you to help her out.
Joy is an Australian living in USA till she started getting ill, after many tests done in USA they couldn't find anything. Joy and her partner got fed up with no answers so they came back to Australia to find out what is wrong. Sadly she has been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. They left everything behind when coming back to Aus and her partner quit his job to come back. They lost everything they worked for in USA and now they have nothing.
I'm here to ask you all if you could donate or even just spread the word out for her as she has been nothing but a good person and to have this happen is a huge hut to everyone. Were trying our best to help her as much as we can.

Overkill with journals
Posted 9 years agoSeriously the amount of journals getting pumped out from people that are pointless or borderline stupid is getting out of hand of late.
You don't need to make a journal for every single aspect in your life let alone spam it so people are basically force fed it.
If you follow a few popular furries here you know what l'm on about.
Streaming journals DONT need to be constantly made if your still streaming from the first one imo "Hey l'm streaming" "Hey l'm still streaming" "Guys l'm still streaming..."
Auction journals are another one that is getting over the top spammed. "24hrs till it ends" "23hrs till it ends" etc
If you require so much attention why don't you put your Facebook/Twitter/Snapchat/Instagram etc in your profile and tell people to go to those for updates.
It's tiring to have to go through so many pointless journals for attention seekers to find ones from people that your interested in.
Before you say the admin is stopping this from happening, just remember that it's a handful of people vs 100,000's of accounts
