I need to make updated samples for commissions but I’m really not feeling any of the characters I’m drawing. Would anyone like to volunteer their oc’s for some free portraits? Must have an image reference, one per person and first come first served. Any gender, species including humans.

I can’t believe I’ve been inactive for 5 years! A lot has happened but I’m really looking forward to being more active on here. I fell into a major rut stylistically because I was over rendering everything I did so I’m trying to simplify things and work on improving the basics. Hopefully it won’t look too different from my old work. More then anything though, I really missed seeing all the amazing artists on here! I have a lot of submissions and messages I have to go through but I promise I’ll go through them all!

So I'm planning on doing on speed-paint commissions because it seems the most economical way for me to give commissions. The only thing I'm unsure of are the standard dimensions. SO would you rather...

A) Have a 10X8.5" 300 dpi image (would look very sketchy when zoomed in)
B) Have a 5X4.25" 300 dpi image (A smaller image but looks cleaner over all)

The same amount of time would be spent on both hens why the larger file would be sketchier when zoomed in. Any advice/opinion given on the subject would be really appreciated.

I want to experiment a little pencils, acrylics and oils but my mind is mush and I don't know what to draw at the moment.

I'll be doing a series of 4-6 portraits so if anyone wants a portrait freebie feel free to leave a link to an image of your character in the comments below. I'd like to keep it to original characters please. It's also first come first serve and limit one per person unless very few people comment.

I should also mention that each one will all look very different since i'll be taking a different approach as to how each one will be painted.
