Went ahead and got some sketchbooks this weekend. I've discovered that I really dislike sitting in front of a computer to draw all the time. It may be environmentally friendly, but I think it's better to have materials with me so I can sketch out ideas to work on them later. Gives me a better idea of what I wanted to do. Hopefully this means you guys will be seeing some stuff from me in the next couple of weeks. Gonna cross my fingers. Will you too? *chuckle*

I know I just haven't had the drive to draw anything.

I didn't realize it had been so long since I had posted something... wow.. i feel like i am neglecting you guys or something. I need to find some inspiration. Geez.

Anyway.. I'm not dead.. but you couldn't tell for my lack of activity, eh.

So yeah.. late getting into work anyway today so I decide I'll just take a nice walk in the rain stay till 8.

What happens.. on the way in 3 people come outta no where near the end of the school and and clock me in the back of the head. I think I struggled a bit, which is why knee is fucked up, and got forced to the ground. Shoes stolen, umbrella taken, and glasses smashed...

So I limp back home in the fucking rain.. yay!

At least I forgot the important things like wallet and phone and since I was in a rush to get out the door.

I can't tell you how glad I am to be moving to the other side of the bay in three weeks. Since I've been here I have had a bike stolen, been hit by two cars, been run off the road, been muged, and been robbed twice. (technically that was Basil having his car broken into.. but since we wetre together at the time.. I count it)

FUCK this place.

Starting now I am accepting 5 badge commissions.

Pricing info: $20 per badge plus a $5 flat rate for shipping and handling. Shipping may be more if you are not in the continental United States.

Medium: I haven't decided yet, it will be either digital or colored pencil. Colored pencil badges will be done on prepared bristol, layered, and finished with a final light coat of fixative. I need to do some research for digital printing methods, but if I do them this way they will be at a final resolution of 600dpi and you will get both a physical badge and the high res file.

Payment: Will probably be through Paypal and required before the final product is shipped. I do not want payment before I start. We can discuss this on a case by case basis.

Process: Provide me with either: a) A well written description of the character you would like a badge for or b) a reference that I can work from to make sure that the important details are not missing

I reserve the right to post images of the completed item once it is in the mail or ready to be shipped.

I'll be on for a while.

I feel guilty for not drawing with new watchers and such. I wish I could figure out wheere my motivation has gone. I try to draw.. and I give up because nothing interesting comes to mind. I'm never going to improve without practice.. but I find practicing tedious. I never used to.. and I still love drawing (Or the idea of creating) but I don't know what happened to the drive I used to possess.

So.. if anyone wants to OC with an otter toss me a massage on AIM: Dobhran75 (Don't ask.. the name is ancient and it would be a major pain in the ass to change it) I would appreciate the practice if you don't mind a rough start.

I dunno.. I only really seem to be able to get myself drawing if there are other people around. They can be even be virtual people on online art programs. But it seems like I really only have the drive to draw in a situation like that. Odd, huh?
