A brunette, a red head and a blonde go to the funfair. After trying several rides they come to an old fashioned helter skelter. At the base selling tickets is a sinister and mysterious looking old man. As they come up to him he gives them an appraising look, puts away the ordinary tickets and pulls out three golden tickets. "These tickets are magical" the old man says to them in a particularly sinister and mysterious voice "when you buy them and slide down this helter skelter, you will land in whatever you shout out."

The three women are very excited at this point and buy the tickets. The brunette goes first. As she slides down she shouts "Gold". When she reaches the bottom she has a rough landing, but is a very wealthy woman. The red head goes next and shouts "diamonds". She get a few cuts and bruises but she is even wealthier. The blonde is the last to go. She slides off and as she hurtles down she is overcome with excitement, shouting "Weeeeeee".

This question is not so random. In the spirit of this month's competition it's about marking. Do you or have you ever marked your territory? If so, why no share the details such as what you marked, how often you do it, etc. Who know, you might give someone a little inspiration!

OK everyone. This is the first of the monthly competitions for 2013.

1. The theme is Marking. It's up to you what. or who, is being marked.
2. Entries must be received by the end of the month. To enter send me a note or reply to this post.
3. Entries must be a new piece for this competition and must be your own work.
4. You can enter pictures or stories and works may contain any gender and species combination.
5. Two works per entrant.
6. There is no prize for this competition, but the winner will be entered into the overall 2013 competition, which will have a small prize.
7. Voting will be in the first week of March.

I hope plenty of you will enter, Don't worry if you aren't confident with your art, it's just a bit of fun and a chance to share some WS themed art and stories. If you know someone that you think might be interested feel free to spread the word!

Thank you to everyone who commented on the last journal. Here are my suggestions for things we can do in 2013. Please feel free to chip in with any other ideas.

1. Monthly competitions on a specific theme, perhaps with an overall winner for the year as well. I'm not proposing to have a prize, unless anyone feels like agreeing to do a free sketch or something for the winner. Based on the responses to the last journal the first two themes will be marking for February and pants/clothes wetting for March.

2.  dracenmarx has suggested that any of you who are on Second Life could meet up. I'm not on SL myself so if anyone is interested in arranging something like this let me know and I'll post the relevant details here.

3. I was thinking it might be good to have journals dedicated to specific aspects of watersports for give you all somewhere to chat. Would any of you be interested?

We're starting to build up in terms of numbers now, so I think it might be nice to break the ice a little. So why not share with us what it is you like in the way of watersports. Do you like the desperation of holding a painfully full bladder, or the pleasure of peeing freely? Do you prefer the musky smell or the bitter taste? Is it something you share or do you only do it solo? Feel free to share as much or as little as you're comfortable with.

I'm starting a watersports artwork and story competition. The rules are as follows:

1. Entries must be watersports themed. Other fetish elements are permissible except for the more extreme ones e.g. scat, gore, etc. Send me a note if you want to check if a particular fetish is OK.
2. They can be any medium, rating, genders, etc.
3. They must be submitted by their creators.
4. Existing works may be entered.
5. The competition will run from now until the end of November, with the vote taking place during the first week of December.
6. First prize is a contribution of $20 towards a commission from an artist/writer of your choice for a new work, $10 for an existing one. However if there are fewer than 10 entries the prize will be halved, so spread the word and encourage plenty of people to enter.

To try to get some more activity how about a competition? Here is what I would propose in the way of rules:

1. Entries must be watersports themed (obviously)
2. They can be any medium, rating, genders, etc
3. Entries must be submitted by their creators

I would suggest that the competition run to the middle of November, with the winner to be decided by a vote by the end of November. I'm not proposing to have a prize for winning. What do you think, are any of you interested? If I get a few reponses we can flesh out the details of voting, submission dates, etc.

If you have read the previous journal you will know that I am considering closing this group as the much larger Waterworks group is reactivating and there has been very little activity here. One suggestion which has been put forward is that rather than closing this group specialise and become a specifically cub and toon free watersports group. Please let me know if you want this group to continue and if you would like it to head in that direction or do something else. If I don't get a reasonable number of people saying they want this group to continue over the next week or so I shall close it.

Even if I get a reasonable number of responses we still need more activity, so if you want this group to continue and to grow please start suggesting things you would like from this group and submitting art, stories, etc.
