I'm going to be in the process of moving my account over to

However, I probably will only put up certain pictures, probably not everything, as that'ss take a while... but all my full colour pictures for sure are going up. Posted 14 years agoHeya all, so I thought I'd do a special Iron artist challenge... I've never seen anyone do this before... so I thought I'd try it!
I'm going to open up 10 slots to start with, I haven't gotten a single confirmed commission as of yet, so I figured I'd try something new. Basically, I will do a small headshot/bust in a tribal design similar to the top line in this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6768680/ submission. I am aiming more for the first tribal style (the monochrome lion on the left).. Another more complete example of what I'm offering is: https://www.furaffinity.net/full/6906124/
The other two did not turn out well, however if you would like to have me do them instead that's fine, however the Australian aboriginal piece will be 5 because of the immense time for the dots xD.

I seem to be in somewhat of a rut seeing as no one has tried commissioning me at all, so 20% discount, and that's not only for the first 5, but any commissions I recieve in the next two weeks will be discounted! Bought myself a new laptop today! Now...
Posted 14 years agoSo, I seized my opportunity at staples today.. me and mom were theto get a printer and get her a tablet, so I just poked around (I have needed to replace my laptop for a while... she's almost been run into the ground), and saw a really powerful little thing on clearance for 340! So, I grabbed it.
it's a 2.53 Ghz i5 processor with 4 Gb of DDR-3 ram, and a dedicated graphics card that has 512 Mb of ram... and it's 13.3 inches (the size I like)... so, it's perfect! well, it's an acer, not an HP.. but still, it's at the same level as my old laptop (2.2 Ghz, dedicated graphics, 4 Gb ram - it was designed as a graphics laptop :P) and slightly better! wicked styling too... brushed black steel finish :) so, all in all... I'm happy... now it's time to get my tablet running on it, and get SAI next! (oh boy, another expense >_<)
Any commissions will be going towards paying for SAI! so... anyone? (might take me a few days to get to it.. need to install SOMETHING for arts... OH! tablet is up and running nao :3)
Anyways... I will download gimp once I've got the internet for it... there's a storm atm, so internet is in and out (satellite internet -_-')
So... anyone up for a commission? 20% off for the first five! ^_^

A sketch is what it says - a very rough draft of the picture. it does NOT include any background, colour, or details. Very similar to this
The sketch will be rough, no colour (can add colour to a sketch for $3 however, no lineart - just sketch with colour like this
Lineart - $6
Line art only. Like this or this (excluding the coloured eye)
Colour - $12
Colour is flat with no background. To add a background and shading, it's another $4 ($16).
If getting the background and shading, the picture will be similar to any of the following:

Anyways, other than not having time for any art (boo!) I was able to get a new car with the insurance money, etc!
It's a pretty sweet car tbh. Not as awesome as my Grand Am, but it's a nice looking car
So, it's a 2006 Saturn Ion 2 (2.2L Inline 4, rated at 140hp), and best of all? Well, here's the list, lol;
It only cost $300 over the insurance money (WHAT?!!)
It has HALF the km's that the Grand Am had (it's only got 80k km!)
Best? It's a five speed! :3
I love standard tranny's! :)
It's a nice colour, basically a purrfect paint job :)
It's got the ECOTEC engine, which is nice.. and WOW! is it a clean engine... so much room for mods (if mom will let me... haha, she won't but I can dream... I'll have to buy it off her in a few years... but I'd probably prefer to get something else, can't do much to an ion in terms of mods... they're not popular in that department... And because of that, if I mod it, I'll just look like a douche, haha)

I was on a 4 lane (in cite) hwy (hwy 7 in Peterborough), i was in the left lane, stopped for someone turning left, and after they turned... I started releasing the brake.. and I was hit from behind. Totally her fault, so insurance will cover it, but looks like it'll be a f*cking write off! and it was SUCH a pretty car too!

Update! (College, too much work, CAR CRASH)
Posted 14 years agoHeya all, I know it's been a while, and I still haven't had the time to do any art, like I was supposed to :(
So, again, to the three I promised work to, if I get 4 or 5 days I can spend for myself, they'll all be done :)
So! I have a nasty update, I got into a little accident with the new car... >_>
It wasn't tooo bad though, here's the story;
About a week ago, coming back from work, and saw a little road I haven't been down before, so I figure "Well, I wanted a smoke before getting home anyways, so why not?) So I drive down the road, come to a dead end, and have a smoke. Afterwards, I set off, doing about 50 or 55 km/h (so not very fast), and it was a hard-packed gravel road. BUT! On this one, sharp corner it turns from hard-packed to really loose gravel. So guess what happened? I lost the rear wheels on the loose gravel, and counter-steered. Caught the slide perfectly, however, I'm driving a fwd, not a rwd... so the front wheels caught grip and the tail whipped round, going straight then I drove into a ditch and the car slid a bit into the stalk so it was perpendicular to the road.
Scared the shit out of me, that's for sure - my first accident, and because I got my license not that long ago, I didn't call the insurance company, and because it's legally not my car yet, didn't want mom + dad to have to pay a huge amount to insurance.
Besides, the amount it cost to repair the car, we would have paid for all of it anyway, so why bother them and pay more money, right?
Oooookay, that's not EVERYTHING, but it's the gist of what happened.
So, on to my work; been going really smoothly, except the fact that I haven't had time for art ;)... but that changes starting next week, only 8 hours a week, so one shift a week, on the weekends. So that's not bad, it'll help pay for gas to and from school. Speaking of school - going to be in the UT program at Fleming College, and assuming I get 70% at the end of the year, I'll be going into 2nd year Uni for Archaeology :3.
Back to the car - it's a really sexy first car, really! it's a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am SE1 with the 3.4L V6 in Burgundy (dark red).
I can't think of anything else... Oh! I start school on the 6th, with classes starting on the 7th... Philosophy, English, Psychology and sociology :/

I got a note from Furry Awards, telling me that I won the Rising Star - Artist of the Month (July)
:) Very happy.
On the other hand, I must apologize for not being around or uploading work. I have much less time than I would have hoped for, seeing as I'm averaging about 40 hours a week, and have no means of getting art done on my days off. Damn broken house :(

On the other hand, I must apologize for not being around or uploading work. I have much less time than I would have hoped for, seeing as I'm averaging about 40 hours a week, and have no means of getting art done on my days off. Damn broken house :(

I got my internet few days ago (feels like weeks from working though). I'll do art and requests again!
However!;
I will be VERY slow turning out any art, working, cleaning up this broken house, getting my license, getting my transcripts into college, etc.
Unfortunately, I ended up with 21 points in IB, which SUCKS. But I already lined myself up with a back-up (college, rather than University. Will be heading to Uni next year though, hopefully ^_^)

So as I've said before, not very active, no internets and all, but have the internet people coming down tomorrow to hook us up (hopefully!)
so, birthday was the 26 June, and I was able to start learning to ride a horse (yay!) and granparents bought me a cake and all, other than that, it was pretty chill.
Canada day SUCKED ASS. Was driving with neighbor all day trying to get some medcare for my mom who's been sick a little bit too long >_<
Buuut, few days before Canada Day, I got a job ^_^ yussssss! I'll be getting 10.25 an hour, and my first week I'll be doing 30 hours, so 300 dollars soon! :3
Annnd, need to get my license before September as I'll be heading to College in Peterborough (Ontario, Canada -> at Fleming College), and I'll be commuting. I'd have it already, but the guy decided to fail me last year for no reason. They just want more money because it's not done by the government anymore :/

We bought a place last year (36 acres, up in the country, lots of forest and a hay field, barn, shed, chicken coup, etc... Just what a foxy like me needs! :) ), but we have yet to get internet for it (I guess that's what all the.. *clears throat* ahem... green stuff, is for ;)
So, I won't be accepting any requests for a while, at least until I have some sort of internet so I can grab references and stuff... And that won't be until we've cleaned up some stuff, as the front lawn up until two days ago was waist high (the whole lawn turned into a hayfield O_O), the police raided us last year, while my mom was down here looking after some stuff, so lots of doors still have to be fixed, etc.

In short, I'll try to pop in and say hi to everyone every now and then, when I can (up at the library, at a cafe, etc.)

I finally got one of my family members to post her own art and stories, at the moment she's only just started uploading, so it's just one of her stories (unfinished) that's up at the moment, but since no one is seeming to have a look, please have a look and make her feel welcome! :)
